You can feel forced, but no one is forcing you. And at no point it's required for you to camp or tunnel to complete any challenge.
For some that's true but for many others (me included) I want to get the challenges done as quick as possible. This should have been a week 4 challenge with the new stun obsession perk.

Yes I don’t like to camp and tunnel at all and it forces u to do that for a lot of these challenges .
I never camp or tunnel normally. I will play smart but won't deliberately try and ruin someone else's experience when I'm killer. But that challenge in particular could only be done one way if I wanted to get multiple obsession kills in one game.
-
I don't think he means like that. I'm a guy who doesnt like to camp or tunnel but the grind for certain challenges has required me to.
Killing the obsession is the best example of this. I brought a mori and made sure to kill the obsession first. Then after hooking someone I needed to hope they had ds and when they were unhooked down them and get hit by ds. Rinse and repeat for a few games.
I know I could just play all 7 games but I always like getting challenges done as quick as possible so I felt forced to play in such a negative way.

In a perfect world, absolutely. Although people can (and do) use it to dodge lobbies, and that's not something we want to see return.
The problem we have is when a red rank survivor gets put with rank 10 and lower players. As a survivor its very important to know what type of teammates your playing with. You don't want a teammate who will dc against a good killer or will be too afraid to do anything.
Your team have already added tools for survivors to consider dodging lobbies anyway like the ping counter in the bottom. If survivors dodge a lobby it doesn't make that much of a difference. This is compared to when a killer dodges a lobby so I personally think that's where the team should look.

Saving up BP for new main Yui. :) I love her character design and enjoy her personality too. Her perks are also decently interesting and I'm going to enjoy playing stealthy with Lucky Charm, as well as running meme builds with funny pallet pickup perk along with Windows of Opportunity.
I really her too. I want her perks but I still prefer feng min. Think she looks better in the trailer than in game, a bit too grumpy looking for me lol

Thanks mate. Just wanted to mention it before people got too far into the archive

Thanks. Mind you, my priority is not lvling up the new killer, but lvling up the new survivor so I get can that juicy pallet perk on Claudette. Killers will likely break pallets like madmen for a few days but could still be fun!
Never thought you'd be able to lift a pallet backup... It's just great.
Yea I'm really liking the look of that perk. I'll probably level up the survivor first also. You can save another 30k if you want btw.

I feel the same way. I opened up the store excited to see what was on sale only to find out I'd have to purchase the entire outfit. I like buying individual pieces. Buying the full outfit on sale still costs more than buying the individual cosmetic, so it doesn't encourage me to spend in the store at all.
It's a bad move on BHVR's part. There are a lot of small things I want, and having them on sale even just a little would encourage me (and others) to purchase Auric Cells and go on a spending spree. But BHVR totally wasted that opportunity.
I think that on the final day they should make it 15% off every individual item. I want all of my killers to have a cosmetic, even if I don't play them much. But because I don't play some killers or survivors much so I don't want to spend much money on them

I'm fine with the buying the whole outfit gives you a discount it's incentive to actually buy the outfit.
Yea I understand but I don't like doing that. I deliberately didn't buy anything the past few weeks waiting for this. Now I'm a little disappointed

100% agree...i was going to get some but no discount on just certain items so not spending any money on dbd
I wanted hair for the hag but since I don't play her I didn't want to pay 400 auric cells for it. Now I'll probably not buy it
-
I'm disappointed that you need to buy the whole outfit in order to get the discount. I personally like buying pieces of outfits and putting them together
-
Thank you for listening. I don't personally mind tough 1 game challenges but the really long annoying ones are horrible.
-
They dont usually care about the points when they camp. They either want to just kill one person or force the team into making stupid mistakes and getting multiple kills.
Also a side note I thought I read campfire in your message lol

oh that's what I meant I probably should have been a little bit clear I just haven't claimed the dailies yet so far the dailies have been completed once I use my on the new chapter I'll claim them
Ok I understand now lol I have a Myers mori daily saved up for when the new killer comes out. Completing the other two since I'll maybe get another mori daily
-
@Volfawott said:
I had a million bloodpoints and 3 dailies saved up even before the new archive's level got released.
However with level 3 it gives me a nice amount of time to just spend some of those bloodpoints on add-ons because I could easily make them back again in no time
I'd say collect the dailys then leave rewards till later

Yes, your diagram is 400k. To save the maximum would be not doing the middle one that's why I counted 450k. In my case I can't because I already collected the top right one. But I'll save up the remaining 400k so thanks for the tip :)
No problem mate :)

Only at 21 or something. I don't play enough. That said, I've played far more than 21 hours since the release of the Rift so the whole "an hour per day" garbage the developers pulled is a lie.
It's a little off. Also the reward for playing the game normally is far too low
-
@Supernaut said:
Hey, thanks for this. I'm holding as many as possible! :)

Apologies for missing this. Hey it's no problem mate, just happy to help

I would be saving BP if I wasn't so downed from the whole Rift and challenge grind. It has really murdered much of my interest in the game.
Eh, whatever. Oni's due for a nerf on release anyway. Its a tradition at this point.
Yea the grind does feel like a bit much but I'm tier 42 so it's going ok for me
-
I don't like the new change coming in. I always like rank reset since it meant I could have a break from constant sweaty rank 1
-
@asergioam said:
Nice idea, we can save up to 450k bloodpoints in the tome... I can't because already collected the top one but 400k is good enough.
I think it's actually 400k you save off my diagram but you could just not complete the last one before the epilogue and that's an extra 50k.
The iridescent challenge is taking me forever because of killers rage quitting and the glitch. One killer was texting me after laughing about how he made me lose my points lol
-
Last time I swear. Even if only one more person finds this helpful then I'm happy

That's ok lad lol hopefully they don't patch this out or something. You never know what they are thinking 👀
Just wanted to let people know before they got too far into the rift

I thought you had a picture of an Xbox kinect on the top left but it was just a scribble you made, also nice idea, might try it myself.
Just had to hide the name of someone who texted me. You can change the order slightly to suit your preference but I just did this path since it suited me best.
The only ones that can't change are the four circles ones on the far left. That whole side basically has to stay the same.

Sorry for bumping this. Just want more people to see this before they get deep into the archives

soo can I halfway complete a challenge chose another then go back to it and pick up my progress? That would be fantastic.
I'm near certain you can if you want. I think I did that during tome 2 with the unhooking challenge.
The way I did it above was to complete every challenge but only accept the reward on certain challenges
-
@Spirez said:
Cool idea, thanks. That’s if I’m able to finish those challenges by next week lol

Why is it certain?
For better stuff you should prestige at least once. That's what I've noticed from levelling my killers.
Unless you level during an event I don't think it's worth getting all the perks on a non-prestiged killer.
Btw this is just from my own experience. I'm only just mentioning this since I don't want people making the same mistake I made with my Doctor and Myers.
-
@Deadeye said:
David, Claudette, Dwight and Meg P3. Claudette has all perks, the others are at most half way to being maxxed out.
On killers, I just have Spirit P3 and Mikey, Pig, Wraith, Legion on P1 while Mikey is maxxed and Wraith "ready" to go for P2.
Every character is LV50, prestige or not.
In the beginning I liked to prestige everytime a character was out of items / addons because I thought this way I can go up prestige and get new items the same time. And especially on killers I avoided prestige before I used up the good addons I want to play. On survivors (having 4 P3s now) it was pretty much a waste of BP I think. On Dwight I don't even use the cosmetics because I want to use the first blight event cosmetics. As the DLCs came out, there is simply too much to level up and to prestige, and the flood of perks makes freshly prestiged characters weaker, as you don't get what you want and most likely not up to tier 3.
If you struggle top prestige your characters, I would suggest to stick to one survivor, use the good items and then just go on until the survivor is maxxed on P3. Then you need around half a million BP for each new DLC to get the new perks on him (+ the 1,5 million to get the new survivor to level 50 :D)
For killers... I struggle as well :) I still keep at playing the good addons and prestige when the killer is "empty". But you occasionally reach the BP threshold and have nothing obvious to put points into. So I sometimes put some bloodpoints into survivors that I don't want to prestige but have bad perks or I try to get more perks and addons on killers that I like to play but don't play very often. Hag for example I only like with certain builds but I don't have all perks for all builds. I just have a handful of killers that I use mainly which I try to bring to P3 maxxed.
@CashelP14 I would like some official statement of that, my or others' personal feelings may make me waste BP :D Puppers always says there should be a 1% increase of item rarity in bloodwebs per prestige and one of his mods said this info came from BHVR, then there was this stream of one of the devs that said the luck increase is a myth.
Yea I understand you wanting to know. I noticed after prestiging my Hillbilly and Trapper once I got 57 and 49 ebony moris respectively. My plague who is p3 has only 41 ebony moris and my p3 pig had only 42.
Maybe i get less of the other items which is entirely possible but I don't think it makes that big of a difference. One thing is for certain, you need to prestige your killer at least once.
-
Survivors:
Meg: P3 all perks
Tapp: P3 all perks
David: P1
Claudette: P1
Killers:
Trapper: P1 all perks
Wraith: P1
Hillbilly: P1 all perks
Nurse: P1
Hag: P1
Doctor: 3/4 of perks
Myers: All perks
Huntress: P1 all perks
Leatherface: P1
Freddy: P1 all perks
Pig: P3 all perks
Clown: P1 all perks
Spirit: All perks
Legion: 1/2 of perks
Plague: P3 all perks
Ghostface: P1 all perks
Demegorgan: Level 50
Personally I always feel you get an increase to good items/offerings after only prestiging once. My 2 p3 killers have less ebony moris than nearly all my p1 all perk killers. The killers who have all perks but no prestige were leveled up during an event so they got a lot of good items then.
-
Personally the red rank stats are a bit annoying. This just shows that it's way to easy for bad survivors to reach red ranks.

As someone who plays both roles, I have no issue with ''No One Escapes Death''. Sure, it's not particularly fun to play against, but if it does come into play, then it's entirely the survivors fault!
However, many survivors post-game give me a lot of slack for using this perk, despite running Decisive Strike, Adrenaline & other top tier survivor perks which could arguably be even more frustrating to play against. In fact, the survivor equivalent to NOED is ''Adrenaline'', which has no counter-play available to every killer, yet NOED does!
I often use NOED to punish survivors who rush generators and decide to not leave once the gates are open and want to be cheeky & annoying. Many people call NOED a perk which is for ''bad killers''. However, they ignore the fact that the correspondent killer is playing with 3 perks for the rest of the game and may not even have the chance to use it if the Survivors cleanse totems.
To me, people seem to dislike ''No One Escapes Death'' due to its power punishing gen rushing, along with any decision to stay in the end game.
Thoughts?
I don't really have an issue with noed. I usually just think we should have got all the totems. I always saw noed as a "second chance perk" which survivors (me included) use.
I do get annoyed when a killer gets a 4k off noed but I understand why some would use it. I do believe there should be a counter for totems since it would help solo survivors catch up to the knowledge swf teams have.
-
I wouldn't say someone's opinion is ever wrong if they primarily play one side. However those people should then listen more to the other side on why they may disagree.
I honestly play 90% survivor however I have played enough killer over the years and faced enough killers to know what is and isn't balanced. I have an open enough mind to understand why certain things are balanced and others aren't.
-
It's ok as long as I can select to turn it on or off. All I want is to play with my pc friends
-
Why do survivors have to play around a perk (destroying totems for noed) which killers are potencially not even using?
Why do I need to run iron will, when I may not be facing spirit.
I'd love to not need ds but killers force me to.
-
Depends on the killer. If it's a stealth killer I'm looking left and right repeatedly to make sure I'm not grabbed while also trying to hit skill checks.
Otherwise just depends on how I'm playing that day
-
Question is do you feel like a rebel now lol the irony is pretty funny. I think it's only for a week which is good. I remember panicking the time I got jailed, luckily I haven't been since
-
I personally don't think they are running out of ideas when it comes to this killer. Though if they need ideas there are loads in the fan creations, reddit and everywhere else.
-
Ability: I personally don't like the hatchets. I think since huntress already has them I don't think another killer should. His hatchets are stronger than huntress's and he moves at 117% speed (should be 115%) so your basically destroying huntress. This should be changed to something else, tou can keep the exhaustion part but it shouldn't be hatchets. Also if it's a range ability like hatchets you may need to look into lowering the speed from 115% to 110%
The frozen windows idea is cool but it's too map specific. Certain maps like lerys would be really good for this killer, whereas others like the game map has hardly any. I think overall this ability would be fine if you could sort out his secondary ability.
Hex: Redrum: I like the idea of a totem gaining charges off of missed skill checks but at higher ranks I don't think this is strong enough to do much. The totem will get destroyed before you sacrifice anyone or no one will miss enough skill checks.
I'm Not Gonna Kill Ya: Change 15m to 16m please (sorry but I really dislike seeing awkward numbers). I like the idea of this perk. Couple it with whispers and it could be cool. I think it should take 8 seconds before the perk activates when a survivor is in your terror radius.
Here's Johnny: During a chase it's not great since the survivor is usually right infront of you. However if you don't destroy pallets, then return to them later it catch reveal survivors hiding near you. The only issue I have is that once a survivor knows you have it then they will not look at you again. Maybe reduce sounds from destroying pallets so other survivors may not hear you.
Hope this was helpful, really enjoyed reading it. I really liked the shining and love Jack Nicholson as an actor so this would be cool to see.

I never find doing gens annoying. Maybe I find trying to hit ruin skill checks every game a bit annoying but I'm one of the few who don't bored of doing gens.
Main reason I play as survivor is to talk with my mates. I think if I was playing solo survivor or killer this whole time I would have left this game years ago.
