The developers could literally announce that the servers are shutting down because there isn't enough revenue generated by the playerbase to keep the game going and people would be accusing you of being a drama queen if you mentioned the game is dead.
-
Considering how fast my que times are even at survivor hours, yup.
-
Um, no? Why would it have? It's still the same garbage MMR producing the same thrash trials as before where 8+k hour nurses and blights dunk on sub 200 hour survivors, while 4man SWFs with 4+k hours per survivor are bullying killers playing for the first time. Nothing has changed.

I play both sides, but when I play survivor, I really dont care about escaping. I try to have fun chases and if I get killed no worries. THIS is how majority of high MMR survs play, they dont care if they get out so you end up with tons of good sruvivors who have a lower MMR than they should.
Which is what makes MMR silly imo.
Watch some good survs play on stream, they dont care if they escape or not, in fact, the old days people would meme all game then die on purpose even if they got the gate, so theyd keep playing lower ranked killers.
been a thang
It also explains why, after getting bodied by 8-10k hours Nurses and Blights for several games, my teammates suddenly get better despite me having a significantly lower MMR score which would in theory mean that I should play with and against less qualified players.
-
I mean if you deleted Nurse and Blight to technically avoid nerfing them, Spirit still has her mother-daughter ring. But sure, if those three go, they could rebalance the game.
-
I wouldn't go so far as to say it's guaranteed, I've been in a few instances myself where one or two of us escaped a competent Nurse/Blight, but I'd say 9/10 times.
-
As long as it's not a basement Bubba, I love getting chased by Cannibal. Pig, Legion and Huntress can also be fun.
-
I really hope they don't actually implement the "unranked" gamemode that they have teased us with for a while now whatever that even means. It's going to be the same disastrous mess as the SBMM system was/is. The community wanted better matchmaking, we got Dead by Hockey. The community would like to have chill games, so we'll get a mode where we don't actually get anything and why would anyone not sweat in those anyway? I highly doubt the devs would ban the meta perks in that gamemode and we would just have the same sweaty people trolling the crowd that wants to play the game without getting tunneled/facecamped.
-
I wholeheartedly support it in all form, whether it's adding bots for disconnecting surv/killer or even as a separate chill game mode where you can play against something else than a Blight/Nurse tunneling you out.
-
While it is immensely satisfying to narrowly 4k a very toxic SWF, I still think that the one in a blue moon perfect soloq team is the best feeling ever. All three of us rushing to the hooked survivor, not knowing who has BT, if the survivor has DS, trying to read each other's mind by the way they move and then it all comes together perfectly and we make it all out.
-
Just add an 8vs2 mode, doesn't matter if it's borked even more than the normal gameplay is, I want to have a Bubba Buddy revving with me.
-
You are not supposed to play Pig in real life.
-
No. I already complain about him. Remove Nurse and Blight altogether.

Sounds like a skill issue.
Absolutely, I'm sure you'll link your epic compilation of running 8k hour Blight and Nurse mains for 5 gens!
-
I don't think it's all that different from versing very cracked tunneling Nurses and Blights 9 out of 10 matches as a SoloQ enjoyer, I probably won't even notice. Or be happy that my MMR is decreased a little bit.
-
I wanted to get it "legit" so I played what I call Punchy-Nemy (Agi+Iron+Grit) for a solid week. Ended up getting it on Lery, even though I wasn't even trying that hard, I just noticed that 2 survivors ended up dying in basement so I had to juggle the last 2 survivors and luckily enough the last one didn't go down too far. Felt really good. The 4 pallet stun challenge though, took me 2 entire months...
-
No. My survivor teammates were even worse than usual while killers were just marginally worse, easy 4k every single time. My killer games were a bit less sweaty, but not by much.
-
I have also seen an incredibly large uptick in the number of people DC-ing and not just when it's a god tier nurse clubbing us little baby seals.
-
*Sad Bing-Bong Noises*
-
The funniest thing is when three gens pop within a few seconds anyway and the entitled survivor could have easily escaped/collected a hefty amount of bloodpoints if they had only stayed.
-
Bunny Fengs are the most adorable things ever. As long they didn't BM me, they can go freely. Go my little bunny rabbit, hop far and hop fast!
-
The people writing the code would only have to make it so that a survivor can search the first box that they have searched already, once all but one of them have been tried. Maybe in 2 years time they implement something like that, causing an unrelated crash on Myers when using PWYF.
-
I like ending my session with a 4k, so in those cases I'll try my best to handle hook states in a way as to prevent the last person escaping. Otherwise, sure, last person can go, especially if I rolled them over, I play more than enough survivor to know how nice it is to be given hatch. If they BM-ed me though, well, as long as it is within my skill, they are getting sacrificed.
-
Exact opposite. Tryhard sweaty nurses every game. With the occasional facecamping Huntress.
-
Oh definitely me! Especially when I'm going for some meme build or use a weaker killer. Or when I play Nurse, since I'm bad at her, but still get the really experienced survivors of course.
-
I love Legion, Wraith, Pig, I just don't play them when I'm interested in pipping up. Otherwise, after I get streamrolled in 3-4 matches, I usually get a few chill ones.

I can get that on Ghosty Boy, but on Legion ?
Many People call them the woest Killer in the Game. And its hard to make them stronger without making them absolute hell to play against either because of the slowdown or not being able to counter them really.
It's BHVR. It takes them years to do the simplest of changes, most of which don't even amount to that much and break completely unrelated stuff in the process. Just look at Clown's "rework". Maybe they'll make it so that feral frenzy automically applies the broken status effect for 30 seconds and that's it. I wouldn't get your hopes up. And Legion was one of my favorite killers before COH.
-
If only they were permanently removed.
-
No, I don't derive pleasure from other people's misery.
-
I'm actually somewhat glad the game is dying. DBD is a fantastic example of developing a video game Stockholm syndrome, 9 out of 10 matches are absolutely miserable, but I'm addicted and keep coming back for more. Once it's gone though, after the withdrawal goes away, life's gonna be good. I do hope the artists get some really good jobs, they carried this game so hard.
-
Mine actually went up from 15% to 90%. There's something cyclical about the SBMM system which makes it so that no matter how much you lose/win, your opponents don't get adjusted. And then one morning you wake up and it's the polar opposite.
-
Ever since Patrick's Magical Lottery (SBMM) got activated, I noticed that there seems to be a cycle both for my killers and survivors where regardless of winning/losing the quality of my team/opposition doesn't change and stays surprisingly low or high. You might notice that in a week's time, your matches are suddenly easy again and no matter how many times you 4k you still get adorable potatoes trying to CJ tech you and throwing the match in the progress. And then, one day you log back in and it's seal team 6 even after 20 4 men escapes. A pretty good job so far indeed.
-
"Where is the basement?" Then proceed to head in the opposite direction and work through the gens from there. Also, you can bet your DH that I'm throwing every single god pallet I can reach, first one to go down doesn't leave this match alive.
-
I consider it a compliment. I gave them such a good chase that they are super mad, unable to focus on the game. Meanwhile, I'm just chilling and drinking a soda, waiting to get into the next match.
-
Ghostface. So many maps you are just literally a powerless M1 killer.
-
Sweet, sweet Lethal Pursuer value baby.
-
Funnily enough, I also played against one today. Thought that they had reactivated her, so I didn't report her (not that it would have done anything anyways lol).
-
Not as long as Patrick is on the team.
-
Patrick's Magical Matchmaking is functionally broken.
-
Hag: Don't enjoy the playstyle all that much.
Ghostface: Weak and wonky.
I play every other killer every so often including the Twins, I actually like them.
-
The last thing SoloQ needs right now is a BT/DS nuke. Imagine if it didn't even take a minute to tunnel the first survivor out.
-
Whoever gets found first gets tunneled out of the game, that's 2022 DBD for you. Haven't noticed Killers targeting anyone in particular myself but I haven't been keeping score. I personally just follow the survivor rulebook, no need to add more toxicity to this game.
-
Memes aside, yes. If survivors get downed ten seconds after the Killer starts chasing them, it doesn't matter how many second chance perks they have or how well they spread out and crank out gens they are all going to die well before the exit gates are powered up. Try holding W and/or predropping pallets against a good Blight. He'll just slide around and 180 slap you right onto the hook.
-
That's a noble cause, you have my clapper!
-
I miss the emblem days. At least you didn't play against 9 Blights in 10 matches, watching how easily he 12 hooks the entire team while the number 3 is just staring at you besides the gen icon.
-
I've actually been really lucky as of late, didn't have toxic teammates like that. Except for today, when I'm hooked and all three survivors are standing behind the wall watching me slowly get sacrificed to the entity. Like what the actual fog. Either save or leave, but just standing there watching after I unhooked you guys.... That was infuriating and I know I'm leaving them on the hook if I'm ever playing with any of them again.
-
If I'm playing Killer then Haddonfield/Badham/RPD/Eyrie are the worst, but Ormond and Red Forest can be pretty annoying if I'm playing a Killer who particularly suffers on big maps. I don't mind Coldwind as much as most people, Rotten Fields can be pretty sweet revenge.
As a SoloQ survivor if I see a map offering as the last one that's not one of the above I just automatically DC during the loading screen. You are already going to 4k in less than 5 minutes, you don't need every bit of advantage under the sun to win.
-
As if we needed more Badhams, RPDS and Eyries.
-
Once a Meghead, always a Meghead.
-
You've got a point. Disabling Blight when?
