I wish everyone complaining about Legion a very pleasant play against nothing but Blights and Nurses <3
-
Absolutely nothing. It's the same utterly worthless piece of garbage it has always been. This is the best BHVR is willing (and lets be honest can) do.

2k is not considered losing in MMR. That's considered a tie, so you really wouldn't move up or down in MMR with 2ks consistently.
I meant 2 kills in total, during my 27 games.
-
I've had a somewhat similar experience, although in my case, it goes both ways. I can't seem to get good enough survivors with Pig not to let me 3k at the end after sweating my balls off, while with Nemesis, I'm on a 27 loss streak (2 kills) despite giving it my best with the meta perks, albeit not tunneling. Knowing BHVR's spaghetti code, I would honestly be not surprised if there is some hidden flaw in the system that makes your rating stuck at one certain point and then it won't budge.
-
Shape has more of a variety of playstyles. GF is kinda meh and boring.
-
As a survivor I either DC as well or run up to the killer and get myself sacrificed as soon as possible.
As killer, I go out of my way to play as nice as possible so that they can at least get plenty of bloodpoints, last survivor gets hatch. If 3 survs DC, I let the 4th one have hatch.
-
Same old utter garbage I'm afraid. SoloQ is borderline unplayable, either you get a cracked Nurse/Blight with the most broken addons and a map offering or an okay killer with absolutely worthless teammates that neither do gens nor last longer than 10 seconds in a chase even against a non-instadown killer.
Killer matchmaking is an absolute freaking random lottery. Most lobbies have incredibly goal oriented survivors (can't recall the last time someone opened the basement chest) so even if you down in a relatively short amount of time, all gens WILL pop and 3 people will get out at least. And then sometimes you see those adorable potatoes that allowed the good old 100 games in a row with hands tied behind your back and blindfolded + no addons and no movement before 5 gens are completed.
I'm playing less and less games every week, once I'm done with the survivor tome, I'll probably won't touch SoloQ until the next chapter.
-
The MMR is so functionally broken (and has been ever since it was introduced), that there is no meaningful distinction between a completely randomized matchmaking and SBMM.
-
Maybe if the survivor is just standing there, waiting for the killer to get close and tap it last second, but merely committing is perfectly fine if annoying, they are trading a health state for a gen, might very well be worth it.
-
The SBMM tweak has made the matches even worse, Ghostface is still thrash, Legion is slightly less thrash, Haddonfield is not quite as strong as it was, but it's still not a map you want to see. Same old, same old.
-
It needs an entire overhaul. As long as kill/escape=skill it will never be anything but a useless garbage system
-
I looped an Oni for the entire duration of his blood fury. TWICE. And managed to get out through the exit gates as the last survivor alive. I also looped a Freddy, a Bubba and a Demo for 4 gens, but the Oni match was far more incredible.

It was honestly so embarrassing to watch. Also imagine having streamers as big as Mizkif and Shroud screaming about how your game sucks. Hopefully this is a wake up call to BHVR
We at BHVR have always valued and will always value player feedback! In order to make new people's experience of playing our game even smoother, we have decided to nerf the pig.
-BHVR, probably
-
I always let them have it. It's such a nice change of pace in all the toxicity and BMing when they give me a thank you crouch before I down them.
-
If the devs want the coveted 2k/2e on average, they need to lob less experienced survivors into trials with more experienced ones so that non Nurse/Blight killers have a chance of hooking someone before the EGC timer is up.
-
It always makes me both angry and sad when we face a killer that is either playing really nice or got absolutely ######### over by the horrendous SBMM and my soloq teammates are clicking and t-bagging. Just a few days ago I had a Kate that I unhooked with BT who went back to the killer to get downed and DS him, teabag him, DH into the exit gate wall and get downed again. I watched instead of saboing the hook and left the trial feeling better about the match than when I was watching them teabag the Ghostie.
-
There's nothing quite like loading into a map and then hearing a Nurse blink.
-
I would assume it's easier to juggle around multiple accounts ever since BHVR secretly added a limit as to how much MMR you can lose in a 24 hour period to avoid this exact problem.
-
Unless you are playing the most broken killers with the most OP perks in the nastiest ways available, pretty much. It's crazy that even with Corrupt Intervention and all the slowdown in the world the first three gens will pop before your first hook if you don't use an instadown killer. <- And that assumes you got a relatively quick chase, if you find a capable survivor, have fun breaking pallets all the five minutes the match lasts.
-
Technically yes, but even the BHVR dev team needs some impressive overtime work if they can make the game even worse than it already is.
-
Not really. I guess the one good thing about stuck in high MMR is that survivors are both confident and cocky so I can punish their greed occasionally. Nothing like putting down an injured survivor that thinks I'm gonna respect the pallet because it would be madness not to drop it.
-
Very random, sometimes everyone readies up and at other times they wait for the timer without even swapping items. I personally just hit ready immediately, I don't do switching.
-
Hard disagree, it very distinctively feels even worse than before. Survivors won't touch gens in SoloQ and I don't seem to lose MMR when playing killer, getting proficient looper after proficient looper etc.
-
The game has such a broken spaghetti code that it can die on itself for no particular reason, there are still multiple thousand of hacker accounts many of which can just crash your game by pressing a button and giving you a big fat penalty at the end, the last thing we need now is the time penalty for killer DCs. Yeah, I'm sure some people would just not put up with getting bullied for ten whole minutes and DC out of frustration, but maybe people playing survivors would realize that their dolls they want to see dance to their tune have agency of their own and develop a sense of minimal decency. It would, ironically enough, lead to a healthier game.
-
Shh, it's so immensely satisfying to find a not knower thinking they are safe after an hour of playing Legion and getting absolutely genrushed.
-
I'd lick Meg's abs and there's absolutely nothing in this world you could do to stop me.
-
A spaghetti code hacker infested game shouldn't have DC penalties, you can't change my mind.
-
Nobody has officially confirmed this, but I personally believe there is a delay between you losing/winning and your MMR adjusting to the new score. I have had similar experiences like you, getting the same folks even after our MMR gap should have increased to the point of being put into separate lobbies.

From what I understand they just recently (in the past week) changed how matches are put together slightly? I know at least one thing they did was lower the MMR cap. I suppose I could have worded it better, the way players have matched up has changed slightly. It feels worse to me, my teamates are less reliable but the killers have either gotten better or not changed.
That's exactly what they did and my experience is pretty much the same as yours. My SoloQ experience has plummeted. Before, I would usually go up against super good killers but at least my teammates were cranking out gens full force. If I wasn't the first one found, I had a chance to escape. Now, the killers aren't that super top of the line, but they are very competent with their powers and my teammates are allergic to gens and they don't last longer in chases either, a significantly larger portion of the matches are now 4ks. And my Killer MMR refuses to lower as well, I must have lost like 10-15 matches with Nemesis in the past two days and the survivors are just as good as they were before.
-
Sadly, yes. I don't really know how BHVR did it considering how bad the SBMM already was, but both my survivor and my killer games have been noticeably even worse.
-
Kindred, Deliverance, Lithe, We'll Make It
-
Very little funnily enough. Every single criticism that people levy against it is just as true about eScape Based MatchMaking. The only two issues were that each Killer couldn't have their own grade and that it was easy to get up to a point where you were at the top for no reason whatsoever. The former would have been solvable with no rank reset for killers and the latter with new prestige levels that are tremendously hard to pip up, weeding out the sweatlords from the casual. Instead we got this utterly useless crap.
-
I like Wraith's lore and the adorkable way in which he moves. If only the people who played him were less prone to NOED and camp/tunnel :(
For pure gameplay, probably Nemesis. His ability is cool, pretty handy to break pallets and there is just something incredibly satisfying about just punching survivors in the face that you don't quite get with a weapon.
-
Yes, but that would absolutely destroy que times. Buff SoloQ and then rework maps and killers for a better result.
-
Depends on multiple factors, but as a general rule of thumb, I usually try and avoid getting stunned the first time. If the survivors I'm going up against are greedy however, I'll just go ahead and eat every pallet face first if need be. You DON'T want to waste a quarter of a gen's time stopping twice when they just don't drop and continue looping you.
-
It's okay guys, the console numbers are surely going up! Surely!
-
With PH, you have to get the survivor tormented. But a good Nurse or Blight player can just laugh at your DS.

I am a terrible Survivor. Like, seriously awful. If I have high Survivor MMR, we should burn the system down.
I have played in the same lobby as Otz and Hens, needles to say I'm the Meghead going down in 10 seconds in compilation videos, so I have absolutely no clue how I've climbed my way up there. Especially since I keep getting sweaty nurses and blights annihilating my random soloq teams.
-
EU, playing survivor anywhere between 07:00-17:00, playing Killer anywhere between 17:00-22:00.
Both Survivor and Killer que times are fast, at maximum 1-2 minutes. Outside of those times, they increase to 5 or even 5+ minutes.
Survivor games are an absolute abomination, almost every single game the Killer is significantly more experienced than me or my teammates and even if we do a couple of gens, the only escape is a lucky hatch one. I started at Silver 3 1pip yesterday morning and now I'm Silver 3 0 pip.
Killers games are as sweaty as always, even if I have slightly less experienced survivors that go down without making to multiple loops the gens fly by, though admittedly, I don't tunnel. If I snowball, I usually 3/4k, otherwise my average is 1 kill if I find a survivor that's on death hook.
TLRD: SoloQ is noticeably worse, Killer is about the same.
-
Absolutely. Ever since the latest change, it's been a pretty balanced perk all things considered. You can't just hop on a gen, save a survivor etc and then still get your out of jail free card. If the Killer is tunneling you, you get one extra chance, perfectly fair.
-
eScape Based MM value baby!
-
I think it's almost always better to just break hexes. Maybe work on a gen until the Killer is chasing an injured survivor and then pop it if you have a bad feeling about it.
-
SBMM gave me a 70 hour killer (I'm at 1.6k) playing Bubba, that I managed to loop for the last 3 gens and stun quite a few times since he was very inexperienced. He accused me of cheating "because you hit me with every pallet!".
I also played against a killer recently that got hit validated three times and accused me of hacking, even though on my screen, they were simply greedy swings that missed. Also, funnily enough they downed me once, so they should have known better.
-
Mori shouldn't work on a survivor that has DS active.
-
The algorithm is now trying to work with tighter numbers, if you have a 1800 rating, it won't just give you a 1600 teammate right away, but look for someone around 1750-1850. BHVR claimed this would make for more balanced matches, but I'll let your experience with your matches tell you that eScaped based matchmaking doesn't work, has never worked and will never work.
-
I honestly feel like those are fine. The only thing that needs to be addressed is Killer having to do it merciless. As long as all 4 survivors are dead, it should trigger. Doing it with Bubba was an absolute nightmare because I basically couldn't use his main ability due to the stupid ways the emblem system works.
-
Sadly, your best bet is to just gauge the average level of survivor and killer in your lobby. Also, if you play against a big name streamer who is very safe to assume has a high MMR, that's also a pretty useful clue. There's also a chance you'll get a hacker in your lobby that can tell you your MMR, but obviously, you can't know if he is lying or not.
-
Your killers 100% got different ratings. I went for the Skilled Huntress achievement with only aura reading perks and hatchet throws with my Huntress, losing so many games in a row that I started getting absolute baby survivors with 2-3 perks and hiding on the edges of the map. I felt bad and frustrated so I went back to Legion and got absolutely decimated by a group of high level survivors. The long waiting times and the atrociously bad matchmaking system sadly is so dysfunctional, that your experience is not a rarity, I'm afraid you'll have quite a few matches like that in the future.
-
You don't seem to understand that all those 10k+ hour Nurse and Blight players who only play with meta perks, the most busted addons and a map offering every single game, were tired of 4k-ing people that sometimes had a chance of finishing all the gens so BHVR, employing only the most galaxy brain of all developers, rightfully identified the most pressing issue with the matchmaking and ensured that they can clap on even less experienced survivors. The entitlement is really getting out of hand on these forums!
-
It's the result, not the cause. If the game was balanced properly and people had fun playing killer, a ton more people would be playing it. But who wants to play a weak ass killer getting sent to an OP map with 4 toolboxes with BNP and then told to ######### because you are so bad at the game you culdn't get a single hook.
