But why use a weak perk when you can use a better perk then ? Or combine that perk with another to make it worth it ?
I didnt say you should use it solo. Or that pairing it wouldnt be better.
I'm just saying that if you had a build, 3 perks selected, and pallets were an issue for you, adding spirit fury by itself would be nowhere near pointless.
-
@Marcus said:

Yes, it does. The default stun time is enough for survivors to get to another pallet/window, so Spirit Fury is really weak on its own.
Weak, but not pointless. Having a free broken pallet still saves you time. And if dodging pallets isnt your strong suit, it's a very helpful perk.
Not every perk has to be BBQ/Ruin/Adrenaline/old MoM levels of good to be considered "not pointless"

I'm another solo survivor who runs bond + open handed, if i see you guys self caring in a corner i'll lead the killer to you :)
So instead of just doing YOUR job, and letting them die, you get both of you caught because they're not following your rules?
THIS is why people hate bond users.

Spriti Fury without Enduring is pointless.
Just like adrenaline without borrowed time on an unhook?
Just because they synergize well, doesnt make one pointless on it's own.

Yeah because guarding a totem is such a smart idea while gens are being done left and right. Smart thinking mate. If only more killer would just guard their last totem my life as a survivor would be much easier.
You're just taking one line from their responses and attacking back. They're making good points. If you're already behind and you know they're about to pop gen 5, sitting at a dull isnt a bad idea to guarantee NOED.

Those all fall more under Undetectable (minus the aura immunity, which hasn't been implemented yet). Oblivious doesn't shut off the Terror Radius; it just makes an individual Survivor unable to hear it and be unaffected by it. Undetectable is a status given to Killers; Oblivious is a status condition given to Survivors.
Being crouched as pig, in stealth as wraith, and crouched as GF (before being unshrouded), ALL hide TR.
Exposed makes A survivor exposed, but noed puts it on everyone. Just because an effect states a single person, doesnt mean that already existing effects cant activate on more than one person at a time.

@Mikeadatrix It's far more like drama. 90% of it is drama, 5% of it makes me want to throw up(like those big blobs of crap moving, I was eating and that made me physically ill), and the other 5% is action with a slice of jumpscares. People die, but not in horrific ways, outside of maybe Barb(who you don't even see die) and Joyce's boyfriend who is eaten alive and even his death scene was shown more as a somber moment than a scary one. I guess you could call it horror by today's standards, since very few movies actually are good horror movies anymore. And they keep rebooting stuff and completely scrapping the original stories(Chucky isn't even human, there's no voodoo, and the entire point of his vendetta is gone, for example. What the hell is the point of remaking Child's Play if there's no Damballa chant?).
The chucky reboot bothered me so much. How is it selling as a chicky movie, when it's not even ######### Charles anymore!

"Oh no, someone who brings a ultra key and waits until last second of egc to leave dies how unfair"
Even had they left immediately, the exits didnt work. Theyd be still there in game, until timer ran out.
It's a bug, and forces the exits to not work, meaning even if you leave, you die.
No need to be a dick because you want to bash survivors you think are trolling. Dont read one thing and respond to them so brashly.

Maybe only allow the "kick away" option within the killer's terror radius? Not a perfect fix, but helpful as it better targets the farmers and limits the options of salty hook-ees.
It would also promote every solo kicking away I a TR, rendering BT useless after long enough, because people wouldnt allow an unhook that close.

See, you are facing an inexperienced killer in terms of balance.
New Killer ---------------------- Average Killer -------------------------------- High Tier Killer
New Survivor ------------------- Average Survivor ------------------------------ High Tier Survivor
^ Any new Killer can beat new Survivors. Again they are both new and will make tons of mistakes. A baby nurse, however, is not only a new killer. However, the mechanics of nurse are muscle memory. Even High Tier killers struggle with nurse simply because they don't use the power enough to get the Time/Distance ratio down.
However, generally when you say survivors can bully nurses they can bully any low tier killer. Anyone with more experience in the game than the killer knows certain loop combinations and rotations of loops to get the best yield.
However, once you come to high tier play this is all thrown out the window by the mechanics of the nurse.
Walls forget about them, Pallets see what happens, Mind Games I will use my second blink. The fact of this matter is in many cases Nurse has too much map pressure and chase potential considering she can cover large distances at a time. "Oh but they nerfed her base speed to be super slow" Well that is amazing and all but doesn't help when she uses her blinks for movement now don't ya think?
Generally speaking the only times I have lost using nurse and I mean <2k was when the map design had dead zones where you actually couldn't blink or it would assume a short blink. This does not make nurse balanced. If they didn't exist I would have went on my merry way. Almost like perk and bug exploits. Just because you know how to use them doesn't mean they should exist.
"A good survivor can..." - Yes, generally can get an additional fatigue in here or there if the Nurse happens to make a dumb mistake or collision decides to be wonky as usual or attacking bugs out. However, if you for some odd reason are being beaten at any point you can resort to slugging or hard-core 3 genning. Which again due to the insane map pressure and distance you can cover. This is not the hardest thing to do in the game.
However, just because you don't have a muscle memory time/distance down for the killer doesn't mean those who do have any skill. As I keep saying you can't skill a straight line. It is similar to riding a bike or walking once you get it down it is down. You struggle at first because it is new and it is nothing more. Skill is mind-game ability and being able to outsmart the survivor. You don't outsmart when no matter the distance or location you will catch them.
Except, that a decent player can take the "unwinnable chase" vs her and drag it out long enough to actually do some good. You may not be able to escape her, but if you're smart, your team can get work done.
Called making the best out of a bad situation.
Dont keep this "woe is me. Its nurse theres no escape." ######### going on. It's old. It was old with legion, it was old when prayer beads were what every thread was about.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I can answer your question easily - because having more than 2 blinks compensate for the lack of skill and make the Nurse the most broken killer in the game with no counterplay on the survivor side. With multiple blinks she is not being punished for bad blinks and still can score a hit in the end - if that is your idea of balance I do not know what to say. Also Nurse has never been the weakest killer in the game - she is only weak if you start to play her later to become OP and broken. She also out of all the killers from the roster has more than 70% win rate in high ranks which has been confirmed by the devs and their stats. Are you really so ignorant thinking survivors failed to adapt in 3 years? Nurse is not quantum physics you know - all the advice how to play against her are good in theory but in practice she is broken. If you want feel free to show your wisdom in KYF - I will gladly arrange a match - you and your team vs. pro Nurse player and we will see how well you have adapted. I'm curious how many games out of lets say 10 you and your team will win.
Why not vs you?
Trying to bait forum users vs a pro nurse seems like a lopsided experiment catered to intended results.
Or get pro survivors as well.

Exactly. Now, if and when a killer camps, a survivor can't just farm their teammate in front of the killer.
You cant camp amd farm anyway. Unsafe unhooks reward ######### points and get both of you injured.
It's not as practical as you're making it out to be. If a killer is camping you, you're dead. Period. Because good survivors do work. IF someone tried to save you from a face camper, youd rather push them off and get you both caught?
I'm done trying to reason with a brick wall. Your situations do not exist, because if the killer isnt near, nobody is farming you, so its moot; and if he is near you, you're dead to camping, so why ######### you and your teammate? ESPECIALLY if you dont know wether they have bt or not. It could be two of you escaping, turned to 2 deaths because YOU kicked them away. Third, if they hit the saviour, after already camping you, you REALLY think theyll chase after injured bait and not just keep camping? Come on. Campers camp. Kicking away a possible save is just a dick move. Especially now that wglf only awards safe uhooks.

It’s not farming if the killer is not near you, so why you would kick someone.

This. If the killer isnt even near you, WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO KICK THEM AWAY.
-
@Zixology said:

It will stop that. If someone comes up to me to farm, I can kick them away. They get chased instead of farming me. Problem solved.
And now you're both injured/hooked instead of having one run free while the other is chased.
That really sounds optimal to you?
-
@csandman1977 said:
I like this, if you die farming your teammate then you deserved it. Maybe you will learn not to be a douche and then we wouldnt need this ability
When you die because you werent farming them, but they decided to kick you off anyway, is that gonna be fun or tolerable? Wed have threads every day about it.
Maybe an unsafe unhook is the only option. Maybe I have BT. Kicking away your savior because YOU perceive it to be a bad idea, is heavily abuseable and a tad selfish. I mean, they DID risk getting you, and unsafe farm unhooks dont grant wglf stacks.

Also, DS exists. It’s a band-aid, but a good one.
Yep, when I go solo its kindred and DS at least. Even if I dont need them, it's nice to have in case the randoms are ALL randoms, or if a rushed save has to happen.
I just wish I could counter bond users that use me as bait during their chase.

@Gardenia said:
See I play both sides but when you try to have fun as killer the Survivors don't care at all and will still try to be toxic towards you, so they don't care about your enjoyment in general.
Problem is, as a survivor, you cant afford to ASSUME the killer isnt trying his hardest. You dont want to risk it. They wont even follow obvious "let's farm" signs.
However as killer you can do wtfever. Worst case they escape. But they dont know, that you arent trying that hard. So while you may be playing around, they're not taking that risk.

So that salty teammates can lure me over and refuse the help, because they dont know if I have BT or well make it or any other stupid reason they want to troll?
Noty.
Youre only ever farmed with unsafe unhooks. This wouldn't stop that, it would simply give the killer 2 people because had they been able to save you and you kicked them, they're now ######### as well as you still being hung.

I'd like to see this traps spawning in the set position at the start of the trial, with maybe some better default placements (eg. all at loops, none just sitting in the open).
A higher default carrying capacity would also be nice, as well as the ability to reset traps in place without picking them up first.
That said, the buff he really needs:
Traps can't be disarmed by survivors. They would have to make it so that traps can't be placed in doorways, so you can't just hook somebody in the basement and wall off every entrance to the shack. A price I would gladly pay to no longer hear the painful snap of my power evaporating from across the map.
Trap sabo should be gone too.
I don't know, I've seen some great trappers using random ass locations for his traps. Random patches of grass or away from loops. Simply BECAUSE survivors think those areas will be clear.

Hahaha if only we could guarantee our killer.

Lol, let’s face the truth....you don’t like SWF because they actually give you a real challenge.
i think the issue is you got used to wiping solos most of the time that when you actually face SWF’s you cry they are OP because they aren’t as brain dead as solo players and so it’s a lot harder to snowball against an SWF.
Best thing I ever did was find 3 other players with mics. Makes the game enjoyable as a survivor for once. Playing solo drains you most of the time.
No more Claudette’s wasting pallets, urban evading around the map not getting gens done, no more getting farmed off the hook.
Yep, and even if you dont get out, theres less pressure and expectation when playing with friends. It's not a "save me or you're a pos, great this game is ######### now", it's more of "dude, did you REALLY just try that? Lolololo". So much less stress. A bad game with SWF is less stressful than a game of 4 pro solos.

No, what I don't enjoy is my killers getting countless nerfs to keep making the game easier for survivors that don't want to play the game as intended, and come up with this BS rule book that the devs are slowly starting to enforce by nerfing certain things from killers, slowing them down, or penalizing them. Just wait until the nurse re-work comes...
Shes not getting re worked. Her addons are.
But that statement shows how biased you are. Because A-you think shes getting a full rework and are excited, and B- you literally said you cant wait, implying that you just want her weaker because you dont like dealing with her.
I play both sided, so I dont see it as "one side being ######### constantly".
Even IF the devs were doing that, catering to a fake rule book, guess what? Its their game. If they see it as a healthy change, they're going to do it. You can either play it or not. They dont sit there and say, "how can we alienate one side of our game and make the other happy".

Do hook grabs even exist anymore? Because they never seem to work, and I'm never close enough for that most the time either, because once again, I don't camp. MYC is a joke, all you have to do is un-hook someone and jump in a locker and wait it out.
Then pull them out of the locker?
You said theres no way to deal with unhooks, i gave you 3, you came up with more reasons why they dont work.
You don't want a solution, you want to argue.
Because other than using actual solutions in game, theres nothing to do. Unhooks are a CORE PART of the game. Period.
-
I get what you're saying, but I REALLY doubt it was a 3 minute game. Youd have to be blind for it to go that fast....

Whispers activates when within 32m, and that's it. The rest is on you. Spine chill can go off, you get on your mic, and someone tells you exactly where the killer is, letting you know whether to run, hide, or keep working on the gen. Yeah, nice comparison there. And like I already stated, I bring Bubba when I'm facing a mega SWF TEAM w flashlights, insta-heals,and tool boxes ONLY!. What other option is there besides hooking someone and baiting someone else in? Those teams will destroy just about anyone in under 10 mins, TOPS, Unless your a Omega nurse. Anything else there, sweetheart?
Oh wow you're really grasping for arguments with them now arent you? Lotta corrections and even a disingenuous sweetheart at the end as if sass tilts people still.
Maybe you should have just quit when you said you were, you dont seem to enjoy this game anymore.

So what do killers get then to counter hook saves? I mean, there's literally teams that follow each other and camp hooks just for the saves using OoO, iron will, insta-heals, and whatever else. I don't promote camping, but killers are practically becoming defenseless against hook saves unless your camping using insidious w Bubba, nurse, or are Billy. I know everyone wants to have fun, but how much weaker do killers have to be compared to survivors?
Grabbing people off hooks?
Devour hope?
Make your choice?
I mean you DO have options....

Can you win a chase? Because If you can you've got nothing to complain about. Dead hard gives you two chances for your chase after you're saved. Borrowed Time gives you three chances if you've got dead hard. You're telling me the killer has to hit you three times, and you still need decisive strike to bail you out?
Arent BT and Dead Hard also, "bail outs"?
Also your "three hit needs DS still" co descending statement would require then to be using DH, DS, AND have a teammate (random in this situation) use BT. Pretty specific.
Sounds like you're just biased against DS users.
-
The ONLY time I will message the killer is on a very obvious lag switch.
Like if the game is smooth, then opening the gates you go from injured to downed 45 meters away, I'll message then with a "really? Had to lag it out there?"
But never when it's my own fault or I got outplayed.

I'd imagine everyone would be pretty mad if hundreds of hours of progress suddenly vanished for no reason.
.....I understand that. Did you not read what I said?

Only way to go around it is to get your progress wiped which doesn't happen anymore and for the devs to manually grant you points.
Very rare thing.
No I didnt mean we as players could avoid it, I meant its possible for the devs to ALLOW our bp to go over 1 mil.
-
I do. Considering I bought Ash to play as Ash, why wouldnt I?
People saying its bc of MoM are probably the ones who only bought him for a potentially op perk.
Hail to the King, baby!

@Peanits said:
As mentioned by others, it could be legitimate. If someone loses their progress, support will return them an equivalent amount of bloodpoints. They go into a separate pool that is not limited by the normal 1,000,000 cap.
It could also be cheated, though. If you think something's fishy, you can always report it and we'll take a look. If it turns out to be legitimate, nothing bad will happen to them.
So you CAN circumvent the mil cap.
Why does it still exist then??
Hackers are going to hack free points any way, regardless of a "cap", because its FREE BP.
The cap just limits people who want to stockpile and level a character more than 35 at a time, or who just dont want to have to spend every day to effectively not LOSE bp.
