If you do it extensively, probably, yeah.
Probably if the survivors choose to report you. I would think it'd fall under either Unsportsmanlike Conduct or Griefing, possibly.
Maybe their food came?
in this case the person wants to know what happens if you do it multiple times.
i dont think so tbh.
since you are not DCing, it usually means easy points and a win to the survivors. those rounds also dont last long. without a killer around gen times are absurdly fast anyway.
however, i am not certain this is the case, some clarification from the devs would be good here.
AFKing is among the reportable offenses. Obviously you don't get banned if you do it a couple times, but if you do it regularly and people report you (which they should since that prevents people from playing the game) you might face consequences.
It doesnt prevent anything. Do your gens and get out. Break totems and loot chests if you need points.
It's the quickest, easiest points possible.
You can depip. I report whenever some jagoff wraith just hangs out cloaked in some corner of the map.
Oh no you may lose one pip in a system that SERVES NO PURPOSE AND IS FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED.
What ever will you do with your life after losing that precious pip...
I think it is reportable if you do it continually.
If you want to derank just insidious camp with LF.
Is protecting my chests and items as Leatherface and Wraith considered being afk?
It is reportable under unsportsmanlike.
It's kind of rude to have survivors use their offerings like BPSs and then they can only get 8K max doing gens then leave. The majority of BP comes from chases & saves. It's the equivalent of a survivor DCing and denying your BBQ stacks imo.
I agree that pips are mostly meaningless, but I'd still like to not lose a pip just because a killer is going afk.
