I'd rather it not change. Otherwise you have 0 chance to unhook someone if the killer is there. A killer KNOWS they have to either wait for the unhooked, go for a grab, or risk losing both to hit the unhooker, or if done too fast or carelessly hit the hooked.
It's a tradeoff that a killer knows and has to decide to risk or not.
Swinging "through" and hitting the hooked is lag or a bug. We both know if you land a hit DIRECTLY on them, they take it.
I say this from playing both sides, as a survivor, ######### that. I wouldnt save anyone again unless it was 100% risk free knowing they have 0 chance to hit the hung; and as killer, I would just start grabbing unhookers nonstop with no worry about wasting a hit on the hooked. Theres literally no downside. It's a free hit wherever I would swing.
I think it should stay. It adds a small amount risk if you're not paying attention, for either side.
Lastly, BM on hook? Really? Most killers hit once to stop screaming. Any more and they're just salty. But even so, why tf does that bother you? It changes NOTHING except show you the killer is pissy. People need to stop letting in game taunts bother you IRL and using that as a marker for balance and changes.

This. I used to run Ruin on every build until it was nerfed. During the "outrage" on the forum following the Ruin nerf, someone made the argument about what the difference is between not running Ruin and having it cleansed right at the beginning of the game. This was such an obvious revelation for me. I haven't used Ruin since that point and my games have actually been better. I have an extra perk slot to use now and it forces me to apply more pressure to the gens.
Having it cleansed at the start at LEAST ensures one survivor is busy cleansing it, an easy target, and has potentially wasted someones time while being cleansed. It's literally better than nothing.
Or. Was.

They desperately need to change it. I refuse to play against one until it's changed. You can't counterplay gigantic hitboxes with server delays.
So you DC/suicide on hook against huntress? Wow. Sad that you ruin the game for 4 people instead of just playing it out and moving on. You can absolutely counter it though. Its not hard to dodge axes. And when one hits that shouldnt, why let it bother you? It's not YOUR FAULT, and it's a game. ######### happens.
But what you CAN control is leaving the game over stupid reasons.

You also forgot that huntress hatchets are beachball size instead of being rectangular.
Volleyball at best. Beach ball? Like 2 or 3 ft wide? Really? Come on.
They have a globe that encompasses them. Whe they tried rectangles it resulted in ######### up hits that shouldnt happen. Worse than we still have.
-
Ahhhh haha 48 hour ban on accident? Doubtful. That takes multiple offenses.
And if it DOES keep happening, why keep trying without fixing the problem? Either reinstall, update your system, or fix your internet. SOMETHING is happening on your end, constantly causing you to drop from game. Which is unfair to the 4 other people playing it.
-
@Sluzzy said:
Beautiful, now we see even more of this killer with broken hitboxes.
It's not the killer that has broken hitboxes. It's that they use capsules for survivors and not actual hitboxes, AND that dedicated servers delay the survivor side visual.
Huntress hatchet hitboxes are okay, it's just their application that is lacking.

I dont think anybody is saying killing god loops is an issue.
What people are saying is that killers have got a lot of what they wanted the past year. Toolboxes nerfed, god loops fixed, maps shrunk, instaheals nerfed.
Thats all great. It makes killer more enjoyable.
However now maybe something has to be done for survivor. Camp/tunnel:noed strategy needs to go. Its used in the vast majority of games and ruins the experience for many people. Likewise some killer add ons could be nerfed just like instaheals were (looking at you iri head + infantry belt)
Survivors have been getting benefits for about 2 years.
Also the camping noed strategy? Heres a nerf, do gens, and do bones. Dont feed the camper, and dont let yourself die to noed.

This is the eternal problem of DBD and really any asymmetrical competitive game. I used to debate all of the time on here and reddit about this and I know your pain.
I play the game very casually, but over the years I have slowly become a red rank survivor more or less now, but I still remember what it's like to not be that good at game and yes, killers have ALWAYS had a massive advantage at the newer ranks - a fact that is unfortunately lost on most players who have long since passed that level of play on forums like this. The issue is the opposite is true at Rank 1 - so you have a conundrum as the developer.
More recently I think they have slowly become better and better at making changes that keep this reality in mind. The changes to hex: ruin were a massive win for newer players, and a nerf like the one likely coming to great skill checks really only hurts Rank 1's. The nerfs to loops and the rework to Doc do suck for new players - I agree, but it just comes with the territory sadly. That said, definitely vent when you need to - Behaviour can't forget the newer players!
Yeah when I started killers DESTROYED me. Then I learned from mistakes, played killer, LEARNED THE GAME, and now it's a non issue.
Too many people want ez mode from the start.
-
How are you not worried about more gen rushing with the changes.
"Theyll be slower working on it together, even though theyll keep doing it".
No they wont. It will just show people who dont ALREADY know how gen rushing works, that everyone on their own gen is way faster than 4 on 1 gen.
It is my one issue with this mid chapter update and everyone is oblivious to what it actually means.
Less "eh it's a little slower let's just do it together" and way more "ah ######### that I'll find my own" and they both pop faster than 2 people can do 2 together. And theyll start to realize that.

What?
Greats give 2% now, and they nerf them down to 1%. Thats not a buff, thats a nerf in my book but okay..
They are not only slowing down gens for multible people, they nerf plenty of other things aswell (Loops, Godwindows, map size, windows etc).
The way I read it definitely says it's being increased to 2% from 1% to "compensate" the 15% slow. Which as I said and you ignored, woll encourage MORE gen rushing, which is what their stab in the dark is trying to fix.
I also never said I had ANY issues with the loops or wi dows being changed, I actually said they were decent changes.
So go over what I ACTUALLY said, and respond to just that. I play both sides, more survivor, and I think the gen changes are going to cause more issues than they fix. They're promoting the problem they want to fix, with their "fixes".

Let me put it in this way:
The realitiy is, that really good killers usually have the upper hand and only struggle against extremly good and well organized Teams. I am a killer aswell, and most of the time the only case i loose is exactly this scenario. Against solo players, a good killer will win most of the time unless he is really doing bad in this certain game.
Lets say, a okayish but not great killer verses 4 decent solo players or maybe 2 solo and one duo team, which is in most of the matches in red ranks the case. Those games can go both ways and are ballanced as far as it can get.
Now the point: Just changing one defense will hurt those survivors a lot! The god loops safed a survivor 30 seconds for example, but the killer was still able to have a decent chance to win. Now with the godloop change, survivors can not have the upper hand anymore, since this is a hugh interrupt for ballancing. Gaininig an extra 30 seconds every chase is just massive.
Having this one change might be still okay for survivors, they are definitly not on par anymore with the killer, but they still have a chance to succeed, evne tho the killer is the favourite now.
Now:
Increasing genspeed is minor, those 1% nerf for skillchecks might not be a big deal, but it is something.
Changing map sizes, even tho the would be only like 5% smaller is not a big deal, but it is something.
Changing and making loops weaker might not be the end of the world, but it is something.
Reducing pallets or tweaking loops might not be the end of the world if this would be the only nerf, but it is something.
etc etc
All this small to semi-big changes combined are just a really gigantic change to ballancing, which is totally unneccessary. Killers dont need GIGANTIC changes, because it is defniitly not the case that Survivors are extremly overpowered.
I am well aware that i have not seen these changes, but i and probably also you know the devs. They dont do "small little tiny mini changes" ... they take out the axe and cut the tree the most possbile insensitive way. Look at instaheals, look at toolboxes, look at legion, look at MoM look at Ruin, look at Spirit etc. I mean, Look at the screenshots and tell me this is not a really big nerf to those godloops.
I really hope i am totally wrong, but lets face it, the past showed different.
So my question stays: Why are devs not a little bit more sensitive and just do one change and then see how this goes instead of going completly rampage?
Because when they do that (breakable walls, loop adjustments) people ######### and moan that its "only on one map" therefore not a legitimate change somehow.

Yes thats true, but nerfing gens is just one of about 10 different nerfs they are planning. 1-2 nerfs like i mentioned are neccessary, but not all of them.
They're not nerfing gens. They're encouraging good gen rushers. Great checks give 2% instead of 1% progression now. Good players buff.
They're also only slowing gens if multiple people are on it. Encouraging you to go to youe own gen, aka everyone on a gen alone, gen rushing.
This is gonna get fun REAL quick...
-
"Adjusting gens"
You mean encouraging gen rushing more.
Making it slower to work together encourages split pushing. Single people on gens. Which is ALREADY what causes gen rushing. And us decent survivors just got a buff of an extra 1% progression for greats.
Theyve literally ONLY slowed gens if multiple people are on one. Which isnt an issue as is.

You are right actually. Havent thought about it but its true
Like most of the changes are decent, but that's just baffling to me. And good players (the rushers) already hit great checks. Now they progress more.
So good players (the ones causing the "gen rush problem") are made and encouraged to be more effective.

I play both sides and the repair changes make me curious. They're trying to combat gen rushing as an issue, by encouraging people working on seperate gens? That's exactly how gen rushes work...people on seperate gens at once.

Ok so i have to 2 questions.
1) When the killer uses Bamboozle, the entity blocks that window for survivors only and not for the killer. Similarly, when a generator is blocked by Thrilling Tremors or Dear Mans Switch its blocked to both the killer and the survivor which means that the killer has to wait until the effects disappear to damage the generator.
2) Damaging a generator requires time ( this time can be reduced by 20% using the perk Brutal Strength) However, a survivor can simply and instantly In no time revert the effort and time of the killer damaging the generator. Why not making damaging generator instant just like when the survivor can instantly reverse it?
@YaiPa said:
1) With trilling tremors or other perks which block gens, you can't kick them and if the gens is regressing, its regression will be stopped (maybe because with ruin it would be too good? idk)
2) Idk, apparently devs stated that it is good for a killer that a survivor can instantly stop gen regression by just tapping, so that you can use pop or overcharge (like lmao), and other users come up with the excuse that kicking gens is most likely used as a tracking tool, so it doesn't matter.
Regression continues to work even with the killer gone.
Tapping a gen and leaving doesnt continue to progress it. It just stops the continual regression.

Oh cooldowns are bad for killers? Can we have my Legions bullshit cooldown fixed too?
To be honest, her changes didnt change THAT MUCH of her. You can still chain blink. You can still have a blink ready after a fatigue and chase. I mean, if you miss, and they run 20 meters away before you even recover, a blink isnt going to help in that instant anyway.
Good nurses are still good, bad ones are still horrible, but shes about the same.
I will say though, adding cooldowns just to have her "fit in line" is a stupid fucing reason.

But I don’t know why killers feel entitled to that 4th kill. It’s not yours nor should it be just because the other 3 screwed up. It’s not all about you killer mains. It grows tiresome seeing all these complaints coming from killers. Figure it out.
It actually IS their kill. The hatch only exists BECAUSE killers would kill 3 people, and have the 4th REFUSE to work on gens. They would hide for 45 minutes to simply avoid not dying, because god forbid you take a risk and lose a game!
So before it was added, and had it not been, every single person you see escape a hatch that you say the killer didnt deserve to kill, they absolutely did, still do, and would have it if survivors werent afraid to do work as the last person alive.
Which comes down to the survivors that cant take a loss. You win some you lose some. But when you do 2 gens, and end up the only one alive, do you HONESTLY believe that you can and should be able to escape? Of course not. But some people cant take that loss, so they (used to hide for 45 minutes until thebkiller DC) see the situation is getting CLOSE to bad. Could be 2 survivors or even 3 up, and some survivors will literally GIVE UP on the game as a whole and focus solely on the hatch.
It may take a little finesse or juke, but the hatch is, and always has been, a mechanically necessary FREE ESCAPE.
and I play more survivor than killer....

3 genning can be stopped by the survivors actually thinking about what gens they should be doing, not just going at them holding m1 while slamming there head against the wall.
Exactly. '3 genning is too easy' is like saying facecamping gets 4ks. Only if you feed into it and dont pay attention.

@LetsPlayTogether said:
So the killer deserves a free kill but the survivor doesnt deserve a free escape. Double standards at its best.
It not a free kill. If it comes down to 1v1 and the gates arent open, or gens arent all done, its work that has paid off. 3 are dead and you havent gotten out. They earned that kill.
Especially if they closed the hatch. Before the survivor could take it and....leave after failing to do their job. Which WOULD be a free escape.
I mean, did 3 survivors just DC so the killer could have a free kill? No, the killer earned that.
I play both sides, more survivor than killer, and ofc I use the hatch. But when I dont get it or have it closed in my face it's never, "that's bullshit I have no chance its unfair!", it's always, ''ahhh ######### didnt quite make it. Welp ggs. I ######### up."

Becaus biased survivor mains (not all survivor mains, pitchforks down) complained to high ######### hell about how "unfun" and "broken OP" legion was, so they got ######### multiple times. Bleedout changes, power changes, timers, cooldowns and stuns, costly recharge system, unable to swing like you have mad grit, even if you ARE RUNNING MAD GRIT. Try headphones or adjusting audio.
I love the music, and I have no issues hearing breathing on the other side of a jungle gym mid chase.

@OP I think this is a good idea, like BigBrain said, first person view, or the entire image obfuscated by fog or something
It matters because if I can tell NOBODY is coming for me, I'm not wasting my time waiting. I'm dying on hook and moving on or trying to Kobe.
It would literally make the SWF vs solo gap wider . SWF couldnt "see" everything, but since when did Hex:The Third Seal or Knockout stop SWF from performing optimally? Callouts before you go down or get hooked, even if just a general location, is helpful.
Not being able to know if I'm wasting my own time or being used as escape bait is a horrid idea.

This exactly. Can't change gen speeds without making hook stages longer because camping will just be a too easy 4k.
If you playing killer accept the challenge and get better. There are not that many seal team swf out there. Still plenty of wins to be had.
I agree with you. Swf seal teak six isnt that common. And you should definitely take challenges and get better. But some things are not in control of, or even offering a teachable lesson, to the killer.
What is a killer supposed to learn by having 3 gens pop while they down their first chase, who was a damn good looper, so they committed to get better. Now they have 1 hook with 2 gens left. Not much to get beyter with there. And yes, it sucks, take the loss and move on, but in some situations, there is nothing to learn or gain.
Gen speeds are incredibly fast (my group of friends and I, 2 of which are BAD, did all 5 gens in just over 4 mins. One green toolbox. No speed perks. Which is RIDICULOUS) and SOMETHING needs to be adjusted, but simply adding time to generators wont work. Like you said, campers would have longer to camp, and it would be an almost negligible impact on good survivors.
Maybe there should be a corrupt type system by default for 30 seconds. Just give the survivors time to get their bearings, and the killer a chance to FIND someone before a gen is done.
Just random spitballing.
-
Facecamping over altruistic survivors and saying it's fun and stress free Is like saying the tournament was a good time, holding your last place participation trophy.

Meh. Probably just a bug.

Unfortunately right now yes it is normal. There are rank 1s matching with 15s sometimes.

Killers wont complain about an actual balance change the same way survivors wont. The people who complain for no reason are either extremely biased, only played one side, or dont fully understand the game. Or simply WANT to troll and grief, since balance changes usually ruin that.
Toxic people are toxic. Not just because they play a specific side.

I like how before ruin nerf, no one actually came up with a logical reason as to why ruin needed a nerf, literally no one. It was all "ruin op pls nerf" by some baby green and yellow ranks. Now when the Devs announced ruin was going to be nerfed, suddenly all the arse kissers started writing a plethora of essays as to how ruin nerf was needed and was somehow healthy for the game.
These are the facts, I respect personal opinions, as we all have the right to them, but these facts cannot be disputed:
-The only people who complained about ruin could not consistently hit hex skill checks, and had trouble finding the hex totem itself.
What does this mean?
It means that low skilled players, or players who simply could not adapt to ruin, decided to praise the devs when the perk that had the most counterplay to it got nerfed. Old ruin had so much counterplay, I mean the perk itself offered counterplay by providing easy skill checks ffs, as if destroying the actual perk wasn't enough. People couldn't adapt to the perk, they disregarded the existing counter play and decided to complain in the back alleys of reddit. And the Devs decided that was important feedback, complaints from a minority of the fanbase, aka baby green and yellow ranks, instead of the majority of the community, aka survivors and killers alike who weren't biased and understanded that ruin was a necessary band aid.
Exactly. And if that isnt obvious to anyone, just look at the patch notes regarding ruin.
"Not fun and too frustrating to play against for new survivors".
Yeah, ######### them learning how to actually play the game, right?
-
@DWolfAlpha said:
I actually prefer new ruin to old ruin. I don't have to kick gens anymore and gen tapping is worthless. Ever gone up against a well organized swf group and have them run around and tap the gen to stop the regression? It's annoying. Old ruin was unreliable. Sometimes, when playing survivor, I would complete a gen on my own without ever getting a single skill check. I do wish that new ruin got rid of great skill check zones, though. Then it would affect everyone regardless of player skill level.
New ruin is also unreliable, able to do with no skill checks, and everything else you said about old ruin, except that now it's not a detriment to gen work.
Good SWF wouldnt have ruin in existence after 2 mins, so using the tapping while looping argument is a bit of a stretch.
The only change that happened to it and its use, was perk synergy changes, and that now low rank survivors have no reason to fear it.
-
Then stop queuing up.
It's either the games bug, which means it's going to continue to happen and YOU cant fix that.
Or it's your internet, which means it's going to continue to happen unless you fix your net issues.
Either way it ducks over your teammates by tou leaving. The bans are in place for this. It sucks, even if you dint do it intentionally, but it still ruins the game.
Or it's that you DC on purpose and making excuses, but that seems highly unlikely considering how normal and non ranty your thread is.
-
Permanent no. Up to an hour or so yeah.
Also, it sucks having bad net, but please be one of the people who understands that while it sucks for you, joining in and being kicked REALLY ######### over your teammates. Shouldn’t have much of an AOE too. It really is quite unfair in my opinion. Idk why people keep evading the fact that killers are actually really OP at the moment. You guys must be really bad at the game and think this 1v4 is just totally lopsided against you as a killer. It’s not. Bait bait bait that’s all I hear. It’s not bait. These are real issues. When they charge the lunge they are able to turn at least 360 degrees before they attack. If they want to lunge they should need to hold it and then release the attack when they feel the need to which would be so much better.
And you're both acting like magic happens. At best they can turn 90° or so and catch you at the side. It's not a 360 no scope.youre just getting caught doing BAD jukes.

Man getting good only goes so far,for real. Pro gaming wouldn't be a thing if some people didn't have a higher level of ability, you know what I mean? I got way better than I was by playing against better players, but with my disabilities,I'm never going to get as good as the top streamers or whatever.
Im usually green/purple and still get matched with reds like everyone else. Some of them are so good it's insane. For example,I enjoy Street Fighter and its like... imagine every other match I have to play against one of the best players in the world. That's not going to be very much fun after awhile. Might get better, might get completely destroyed. And then get mad and get destroyed every time from lack of focus, lmao.
I understand what you mean though,I really do. There's some underlying issues that need solved. I used to main survivor and switched to killer because of the queue times. After awhile I kinda started to play with the mentality that someone is going to escape and I don't need to win. Keeps me from getting too mad or complaining too much.
I understand where you're coming from, but you having disabilities means you know you have limits. You know what you can and cant do, and can choose what to partake in. I'm not trying to belittle or argue the fact you have disabilities, just trying to explain it in another light.
Let's say someone has physical disabilities preventing them from running/jumping at 100%. Now, say they REALLY enjoy playing basketball, and are a pretty good shot. They know that even though they enjoy it, and may be half decent, that the hand they were dealt means they likely will only ever reach a certain peak of skill/career with that. They know they cant be a professional NBA player, but it doesnt ruin their love of the game. And it sucks, and is horrible that someone cant do what they enjoy to the fullest, but we cant drop the bar or change the core of something that requires skill to assist those who arent able to fully participate as intended.
It still comes down to the rough "git gud". And yes, that can only go so far when outside factors are at play, in specific situations. But when the talk is about the overall balance, skill cap, potential, mechanics, etc, using outliers such as disabilities and internet issues, or any other variable in the discussion of "the problem was you didnt play optimally" doesn't really help the conversation.
Now if we were talking about how to make the game more accommodating to the disabled, that would be something else altogether.

This game has gotten really stale for killers at red ranks post ruin nerf.. roll your eyes all you want, it's truth. If I want to try interesting builds that deviate from the 6-7 "meta" perks for killers, gens fly and it's generally a miserable experience. You will of course have some wins, but more often than not, Brutal Killer/Displeased is your result.
Survivors can run meme or thematic builds all day long because they have 3 other people to carry them. If i want to run an all hex build, stealth, or perma injure build.. it might work a quarter of the time. Injured people at high ranks just split up and sit on gens so it doesn't really matter.. plus they get dead hard constantly.
I realize X killer may have Y build that works for them, that only proves that you're being pigeonholed. "If you want to use this killer, here are the perks that actually work".
I am essentially locked into using the same build for every killer unless I want 3 chases and the game to be over in 5 mins. Boring.
BBQ / Corrupt / Pop / Discordance /// Nurses / Monitor
"THEN JUST SLUG" - no thanks that's not fun
"DONT WORRY ABOUT RANK" -- maybe I don't like seeing "Entity Displeased" every game when I try experimenting
"PLAY ANOTHER GAME THEN" - i have been thanks
Sure would be nice to be able to run interesting builds without being absolutely punished by the game.
"I dont like seeing entity displeased when I experiment"
That's where I lost legitimacy of your post.
A made up entity in a video game is regulating your fun because you didnt appease the made up video game god? FOH.
Play it and enjoy it or dont, but dont use "I feel bad displeasing my master" ######### as an excuse for you not having fun or not doing well with fun builds.

All you say its alright, but if you see someone unhooking someone and u go for the unhooked one, you a really an #########. That's is tunneling and, not go for the injured one, is go for the injured one previously unhooked and not give any time for do nothing. Understand what i mean?
No, that's being efficient. If a survivor rushes an unhook without borrowed time, that's the SURVIVOR being an #########, and the killer capitalizing.
Literally had someone message me calling me a camper because I didnt leave the ormond resort with then in the basement. While 2 of them were on the gen inside and the 4th was trying to get into the basement.
Does it suck for the hooked person? Yeah, it does, but guess what? The survivors did that, not the killer.
-
How is someone camping and tunneling (2 legit yet, underwhelming strategies) making the game killer sided?
Losing to bad strategies doesnt make the game biased. It makes you a.....how do I say this nicely....not as good as you think you are, player.
It's like tower diving in any moba then claiming the champ that got the kill is OP.

If you look at my post history you’d know I also play killer a lot lol so I’ve also been in games like this one I sympathize because I’ve experienced it and know this happens a lot my whole time in this game in my 3k+ hrs I’ve played survivor and killer pretty much 50/50 just because I’m toxic dosnt mean my opinion is any less
You sympathize with taking 3 minutes to chase and then breaking a chase? With newbie perks?
Interesting.

This goes both ways around. Killers can also mess up multiple times and still win. And a match can be lost for the Survivors if one of them makes a really stupid move.
But I know that is nothing people on this forum want to hear.
Ehhh CAN make mistakes and still win, and likely to still win are different.
A killer can make a mistake, or two, at high ranks, if the survivors make more mistakes. At high ranks with actual good players, a killer has to play optimally and rely on survivors making mistakes to squeeze out more than a 1k. You cant just make mistakes, make poor chase decisions, miss attacks, and then 4, 3, or sometimes 2k against good survivors. They run too optimally these days. People on gens get them done and good loopers dont go down in under 30 seconds.
-
Move on to the next game?
Like for ######### sake yes gens are fast, but having 10 posts a day with "what was the killer supposed to do" its beating a dead ######### horse.
You play your game. Do your best. And move the ######### on. Some games are gonna go fast, and some will be dragged out.
But can we PLEASE stop with this repetitive bullshit thread every time gens get done in under 5 mins? Because I could post PLENTY of under 5 min 4 kills and say," what were the survivors supposed to do??" For a month. It doesnt change anything or prove anything that we dont already all know is an issue.

Riiiight.

says the person who clearly has more time then sense in their life
Its also interesting how you seem to claim that the grind the way it is now is magically perfectly balanced and any switch either way would completely mess that up....
I never said its perfect balanced. I explicitly stated that inst intent is for you to fall short and spend money. But that its obtainable without if you play even an hour or 2 a day. I have just as much free time as any other person, especially given the last month.
I also have plenty of senss in my life, sad you seem to feel the need to think otherwise and use that as an argument.
The rift shouldnt be that hard to finish. But it is because THATS HOW BATTLEPASSES WORK.
In an optimal world, it would take half the time, just by playing games, so that the archives weren't tainted by it.
But im sorry you felt so personally attacked and offended by my statements that you felt the need to paint me as what, a no life corporate shill?
Maybe dont let FOMO or digital t shirts bother you so much that you want them to change a system to avoid a situation that it is specifically designed to cause. That being people not finishing it and having to pay.

only rational post in the tread
There are lots of us who have been preaching that since BEFORE the rift was released.
"Ita a money/time sink"
"They INTEND for you to spend money"
To only be met with, "iTs FrEe CoSmEtIcS, wHy YoU HaTiNg?"
If they wanted to give us things free, they would. As they have before. Anyone who thinks the RIFT isnt just a money scheme is mistaken. The archives are awesome, however, and I wish werent tied to them at all.

This, why not give us more time
Because you dont NEED OR DESERVE more time.
Ffs.
It's not hard to hit 70, even without all challenges. I have 7 left and I'm at 70. And DBD is FAR from my most played game.
You can either:
A- pay to finish it (which is what they want. It's a battlepass)
Or
B- grind what you can, and accept that you didnt play/grind/actually try enough until it was too late, and be grateful for what you DID earn.
All these "extend the rift" discussions reek of children who were never told no.
