Question regarding generator

Ok so i have to 2 questions.

1) When the killer uses Bamboozle, the entity blocks that window for survivors only and not for the killer. Similarly, when a generator is blocked by Thrilling Tremors or Dear Mans Switch its blocked to both the killer and the survivor which means that the killer has to wait until the effects disappear to damage the generator.

2) Damaging a generator requires time ( this time can be reduced by 20% using the perk Brutal Strength) However, a survivor can simply and instantly In no time revert the effort and time of the killer damaging the generator. Why not making damaging generator instant just like when the survivor can instantly reverse it?

  • 1) With trilling tremors or other perks which block gens, you can't kick them and if the gens is regressing, its regression will be stopped (maybe because with ruin it would be too good? idk)

    2) Idk, apparently devs stated that it is good for a killer that a survivor can instantly stop gen regression by just tapping, so that you can use pop or overcharge (like lmao), and other users come up with the excuse that kicking gens is most likely used as a tracking tool, so it doesn't matter.

Regression continues to work even with the killer gone.

Tapping a gen and leaving doesnt continue to progress it. It just stops the continual regression.
