That says more about the S tiers needing dealt with than anything else.
Maybe so, but that's a different conversation

BHVR Doesn't nerf S-Tier killers to be the same as the rest so why should they not be giving survivors S-tier perks (albeit one which is being over reacted to as well) lol
I don't understand the logic of having to balance Survivors around the worst killers making that side miserable to play against S-tiers especially when they are the most commonly played.
The Duty of Care user will be vulnerable, go for them, if the others bodyblock it defeats the point of the speedboost and you get your down anyways. This perk doesn't hurt s tier at all. Just makes f tier have a worse time

Yes. I want different types too!
- Smoll Generators that finish faster.
- Heavy Generators that finish slower.
- Old Generators that make alot more noise and more skillchecks.
- Generators which need a part to finish, (try to repair it, shows aura locker has the part missing to complete.)
- Evil generators which gives the Killer Instinct once you finish half way, also failing skill-check injures you.
- Linked Generator, Regressing this generator sends 50% of progress lost to a different generator, then starts regressing it.
- Glitch Generator, finishing 25% of this generator makes it disappear and reappear some other place in the map.
- Warped Generator, finishing this extra long generator send 25% progress to another trial's gen, then starts regressing it.
- The Meg-arator, Leaving this generator reduces progress by 10% but gives the survivor gains 150% haste for 3 sec.
- Its a Bomb! Generator, finishing this generator injures all survivors in range around the generator.
Okay, the brain is all dry now.
ThThis Would be sick
-
ItIt's the 1 mode where she isn't d tier, leave her be.
-
This is ridiculous. Do not nerf him chucky, SM, Freddy, pig... everytime a killer is released Survivors whine and get them nuked to f tier if you have to usa a strategy besides hold W

On its own, and on paper, The Ghoul's power is fine and fun to control.
(Even though this is the third back-to-back double dash Killer in a row this year that's been released and the powers are getting a little repetitive, but I digress and that's neither here nor there)However, in practice, The Ghoul is very annoying and unfun to play against, as well as a balancing nightmare: The Ghoul can close almost any gap instantly and immediately follow up with an M1 attack. And there is just nothing Survivors can do about it.
This instant distance and follow up makes it impossible for the Survivors to reach anywhere after a pallet is broken, and it feels incredibly bad, on top of several other features.
I think The Ghoul needs some heavy nerfs and alterations to feel both balanced and good to go against, and any of these in combination (but none in isolation) would make him feel much better to play against:
- Remove the autoaim. I know you guys are proud of this feature and are confident that this makes the Killer feel better, but obviously autoaim will make any Killer feel better to play as (and like total crud to play against). Automatically being given free hits feels good! But that's not what should be happening. It feels wretched to go against as Survivor. A killer this strong, powerful, and more importantly free should not have autoaim, he should have to aim and work for his shots and damage.
- Remove the Survivor Stun on Grab Attacks, or at least make it an instant rather than half a second of paused movement. Getting stopped in your tracks by an auto-aim power feels BAD. Incredibly bad. Full-stop, please don't ever take control of player movement away from the player in a game, please. But in addition to making him feel better to verse, this would also give Survivors a chance to get some more distance before Ghoul comes barreling down the aisle with another Kagune leap.
- Increase both the duration and strength of the animation and slowdown for Cancelling Kagune Leap power. It is almost impossible for Survivors to react to the speed with which The Ghoul can cut them off around almost any corner.
- Make it impossible to cancel Kagune Leap while The Ghoul is mid-leap. This will give Survivors more opportunity to react to Kaneki and reposition after being cut off: A huge thanks to The Ghoul's lethality is his ability to immediately follow up with an M1 from a leap thanks to being able to cancel mid-leap. While it makes him feel even sleeker to play as, for balancing sake I don't think he should be able to do this and I don't think it will detract from his overall smoothness and well-roundedness to play as..
- Consider slowing the Leap speed. The real dangerous nature of this Killer is their ability to pinpoint precisely where they want to be, point, click, and he's instantly there. Survivors should have some opportunity to observe what is happening and change course.
- Consider slowing the base speed of this Killer. Especially if nothing else is nerfed, Kaneki can cover more distance than Nurse can in nearly an instant, and then instantly follow up with an M1. If it wasn't for the fact that the M2 can't down Survivors, I would even suggest that he be slower than Survivors just like Nurse, but that is not the case. Either way, with a speed power this intense, I think it's fair to make him significantly slower.
I think the cooldown of the Kagune Leap itself is fine, actually: The problem is this is not a power that can be balanced by just making it incredibly undodgeably powerful, but it's forced-balanced because players just can't use it for a long time. Increasing the cooldown would not change the lethal nature of the power. The problem is that it's nearly uncounterable when it is used in the right hands in the right place, and Survivors need to be given more opportunity to react.
Do not touch ghoul. He is fine the way he is, just learn to play a new strategy

Freddy, yes. Legio. 100% yes. Sm also yes. There has to be some accountability, and I do not live in usa or Canada.

Then say that instead of pretending you know what false advertising is.
I'm not pretending. Yes, if a product is materially different after service than it was advertised, it can be considered false advertising because the product no longer matches the description or representation made in the ad. Simple Google search. SM 100% here.

You can argue you felt misled, but you cannot argue you were legally misled. You were not promised that Kaneki will remain at the level of power that he is at.
Besides, do you want to go back and sue BHVR for them bugfixing houndmaster btw? They made her more functional, sounds like a mislead in your eyes.
I don't want to sue them. I want them to stop releasing broken killers that needed more time in the oven, or cash grab op killers only to nerf them after everyone bas bought them. If they have some responsibility the game will be a lot healthier.

yall dont understand what false advertisement means and its getting kinda tiring.
false advertisement is not when a video game character is nerfed. if that counted a character would never be changed after release, ever, and you don't want that. false advertisement would be if they advertised kaneki as they have and you bought him and go to check your account and oops! you actually bought a 2d picture of ken kaneki and hes not usable in game at all.
i get that you're mad that many are calling for a killer you clearly like to get nerfed. but argue why those nerfs are unnecessary, rather than arguing that bhvr would be breaking the law if they made changes to their video game.
Minor tweaks are fine, but when you purchase a product and it is changed SUBSTANTIALLY within a short period of time you were 100% misled.
-
He just came out. Nerfing him now is 100% false advertisement. Players bought a product and then it gets made of less value?!?!?! That is nonsense, and if it happens I hope judges tear those ELUA's to shreds.

Do you play dr? There are people farming shards

Legion has always been bad

Strangely enough, unforseen is sorta a slowdown perk also, as most survivors steer clear of that gen.

All they'd be used for is to remake god pallets. If each player can only do it once or twice that's 4/8 extra God pallets on the map which is crippling for low tier killers. If they can only be built up once or twice total then you've got a dead perk for solo players who bring it along with someone else. It doesn't work.
Not every perk is good for soloQ. Sometimes having coordination is good, and many of those coordination issues should be fixed with other measures like the pregame showing perks.

Remove MMR matchmaking. Simple fix

So, remove it's only counterplay?
the counterplay is not letting him do it lol

Yeah it shouldn't be hard for them to do that

I don't have the data but I suspect that survivors who do things like DS get slugged more.

Instead of no sabo make it they become exposed when they sabo

I started only playing anti loop killers, more killers need reworked

That's how third-person game controls have worked since Super Mario 64 revolutionized how 3D games are played.
I can understand that if you are not a regular video game player / controller user, moving both sticks at the same time can be tricky at first (I had seen people literally moving one stick and then the other when they started playing CoD on console), but you only need practice.
I've been playing games on Xbox since forever. I just hate the controls
-
I think the people who get bled out more are the ones who annoy the killer. I've seen lots of ds and flashlighters get bled out, I think its revenge.
-
If you move the right joystick you move with your view. You can't touch only the right joystick and look behind you without going another direction
-
Like a less fun huntress with built in tunneling
-
Yeah, they have a myriad of balance issues, bugs, and outright laziness (not being able to see each other survivor perks) but more stickers are what we need???
-
There's basically no reason to play 75% of the killer roster. Shame, they REALLY need a buff.
-
They should give shards for the first hook of a new survivor. No serious killer gives AF about BP.
-
Lmao its very good. Gives the killer another place to patrol, and lets you pop multiple gens at once without being there.
-
@vbarraganj14 said:
The thing about Tunneling is that a majority of the communities solution is to incentives not tunneling, to give the killers a plus for not doing it. As smart as that sounds, it wouldn't solve tunneling, while just helping killers who already don't tunnel. If killers want to tunnel they will still tunnel. With the event we had with the deep fog I think we get maybe a decent solution there. Make it so killers can't see hooked survivor auras, and when they are hooked the survivor is teleported to a random far hook. That way when a survivor is unhooked the killer can't just head back to ir to tunnel. This would also help against A-hole survivors who like to unhook in front of the killer.
Thats a huge nerf to killers
-
Lol what? Trapper is very weak unless he gets lucky with maps. If you can't look down just say so

MMR *rewards* good players with sweaty matches. At least throw in some bonus for a high mmr. Too many people actively GAME the mmr system

You know the "Greater Good" argument is about majority benefit at the detriment of a minority?
Contradictory to the change you want, which shifts the majority of player chases to be more deterministic with a 3D world-space Survivor tracker, ultimately causing the player to disengage with environmental clues and their interpretation of them by only following the "quest marker", for the benefit of a minority.
A minority whom should be in an MMR range where that accessibility limitation is mitigated by their opponents skill, still providing a good selection of matches. The Killer role is designed around being able to end chases quickly, not hunting Injured Survivors in perpetuity, Survivors are likely already conditioned that the Killer can hear them and thus unable to capitalize well on an opponent they don't know can't hear them perfectly.
Bro just say you don't like playing with people who NEED accessibility to have a chance at an even field

If people really want they can safely crank their voulme with an audio compressor. A compressor reduces the volume difference between the loudest parts and the quietest parts of an audio signal. Essentially, when the volume goes above a certain level, the entire volume is reduced. This allows you to crank as much as you want but as soon as loud sounds start playing itll quiet everything. It's fairly common practice in escape from tarkov, if you google tarkov audio compressor you can find guides on how to set it up and just tweak your settings for DBD
This does nothing for the hearing impaired
-
Its a horror game
-
For meta killers is easy, for bad ones its trash. Take knight. Against a good team hes so $%^& weak, against a noob team he pubs pubstomps. Many such cases where only 1/3 of the killers are viable LET ALONE fun in high mmr
-
Players when a horror game has horror
-
Pre-rework was fine! If the players are too lazy to read about the killers power they deserve to die lol.
-
In addition to what you said, after the killer sluggs the 3rd and finds the 4rth it is better to hook one, let them die, then hook the other. Someone on the ground rarely gets up, while deliverance is a strong perk. So to counter that if you want 4k your vest bet is hooking one, waiting, then hooking the other after the previous has died. Terrible game design.
-
Killers don't need to look at the survivor that long, and only dumb ones do that. You look where the rescue is coming from.
