I wish we could get more L4D skins. I would adore a Coach legendary skin, but I'd also settle for more outfits, like giving Nick's suit to Ace.

better than new should honestly be old leader but for heals
Reduce the bonus to 7/8/9% but make it effect Repair speed agains.
It would be permanent until that person gets injured. They would get 9% bonus to repair, healing, blessing/cleansing, chest opening, exit gates & unhookingThat makes it inverted Resilience. Could become the new SWF meta. Everyone would have 9% repair boost all the time unless they use self-heals. Injured? +9%. Healed? +9%.

I'm realising I really shouldn't have brought up the tooltip at all, now everyone thinks that's the focus as opposed to the people who talk about patrolling generators…
But still, "go gen to gen to find survivors" is the thing I'm saying people shouldn't do, regardless of where they got the idea. The tooltip was just phrased in a way that helped my point because it talked about finding survivors, which was the angle I was taking too: That's the worst way of doing it and should be a last resort, not a basic gameplan.
So where should I go to find survivors, if not generators?

Do you think they will be able to iron out any of her bugs before live?
A few, maybe, but not enough.

Houndmaster has potential but she needs a lot of work before I'm willing to play her janky kit.
Taurie couldn't interest me less.
The new Ormond map in December is more interesting than either.

I really wanted the Castlevania Rift to be red. I like blue, but I don't need this much blue, and a lot of Deep Rift outfits don't look good in blue. Outfits look bad when they're so singularly colored.

There isn't a point when you have a 20-minute queue for a 6-minute match.
-
I've already given up on playing killer. I've only gotten four or five matches in but I just can't handle the queue anymore.

Yeah some perks no matter how much they are buffed or even reworked will never seem to shine
Blood rush ( the same perk killers thougut be meta on its released and noe its rework and still no one uses it.
Smash hit = no one uses it
Poised =No one using it
Babysitter= shockingly no one is using it
Lucky star= no one uses it
List goes on 😐
I've been using almost all those perks. Poised is good, Babysitter is good, Lucky Star helps me in SoloQ, and I find fun combos to run them with like Eyes of Belmont, Borrowed Time, and Inner Strength. Haven't used Blood Rush much but it works well with Sprint Burst, and I don't like Smash Hit because I have bad luck with pallet stuns.

I am certain it is purely a license issue, the same license issue that prevents licensed killers from being playable in 2v8 as well.

It is just weird, ya know?
In the past it was considered a beginner perk, now it is one of the few decent perks survivors have.
WoO as a "beginner" perk has always been a lie as far as I'm concerned. Constant perfect awareness of every resource around you, of course it's good when vaults and pallets are the most valuable things survivors have. it's good for everyone, which is why every game I see two or three survivors running it.

To be fair, Circle of Healing was fine before the most recent Nerf. IMO it was too weak at this point to run it anyway and even then people who ran Boon-Perks and were blessing Totems where not helping a Team.
The current version of CoH is just awful. And with that it makes every Boon-Perk basically unplayable.
Circle of Healing was busted nonsense that deserved what it got, and current CoH is perfectly usable.

I may have expressed myself poorly here.
I didn't mean to say WoO is the strongest perk we have, just the one that is most popular, that is seen the most as part of the meta.
WoO is popular because information is valuable and WoO gives tons of it at all times.

i wouldnt mind this but i dont see much it could help with maybe second to last?
I'd want to make killers paranoid about slugging for the 4K so maybe they'd do it less often. Probably wouldn't help much but still.

The only thing I'd give Unbreakable:
"If you are the last survivor alive, Unbreakable reactivates permanently."
Otherwise it's fine the way it is now.

Considering OP also made a thread demanding DC penalties be removed, this is either a troll or someone who feels incredibly entitled to ruining other people's matches for the sake of their own convenience.

And does the time make up for loosing your whole power? - NO, so it is free!!!!!
3s of grabbing a tape is nothing compared to loosing your whole power without anything being left to use. Alone loosing the teleport is worth more time than grabbing a tape. She is not even strong enough to warrant to have a 100% counter. She should be able to teleport to turned off TVs, because only condemned is supposed to get countered for free.
"3s of grabbing a tape" is understating it so hard that I can't take you seriously.
-
Removing DC penalties allows people to DC over the slightest frustration. I do not want to play with bots every single match. The bots are stupid and slow and can't be relied on to perform the simplest of tasks. Playing with bots regularly would make the game so much worse.

Right? Survivors can freely take a tape next to the gen they're working on without having to worry about condemn stacks (unless she chases you ofc). That's not even counting the fact they can turn off all your TVs while holding a tape too.
Turning off TVs with a tape causes Condemned. Not free.

And she shouldn’t loose 100% of her power for free.
Putting in the effort to turn off TVs and run tapes around the map while making sure Condemned doesn't get too high is not "free".

Survivors shouldn't be punished for properly counterplaying the killer.

He doesn't need any.

Maybe she's simply adaptive to her environment and understands the value of sacrifice for the sake of mutual survival. Though I do agree it's a weird choice to give perks like those to a character like her.

It also mentions Grant Danasty was there but it doesn't include him in the animation either.

I'm perfectly fine with there being no teasers for this chapter.
More often than not, it just leads to people being disappointed and judging by some people's reaction to the latest killer, this would have been no different from the disappointment people had with Skull Merchant and how many believed from the teaser for the Tools of Torment chapter that she was going to be a cyborg killer.
Skull Merchant would have been a disappointing character whether there were teasers or not. All they had to show off for this chapter was the dog and people would have eaten it up, no issue.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kJZ1czmKfUE&pp=ygUQZGVhZCBieSBkYXlsaWdodA%3D%3D
Makes me wonder whether this chapter was supposed to come with the swamp realm beyond update.
It’s also odd how there is a new map in the PTB, but it’s not releasing with the chapter, instead seemingly coming with the winter event. An out-of-the-blue map drop like that hasn’t been seen since Grim Pantry.
The lights in the background of the thumbnail look like the lights of a sailing ship. I feel like there was supposed to be a new Backwater Swamp map that would have been set on a swampy coastline with the Houndmaster's ship moored on the shore, or something like that.
But there's no map…

This is the only function of this killer that works properly.

If I'm going to tunnel then I'm too focused on tunneling to forget who I'm tunneling. Killers only struggle to remember who they've hooked when they're NOT tunneling.
-
Absolutely not. She doesn't just look weak, she looks completely dysfunctional. I may buy her with Iri Shards for her perks (though I'd rather save those for cosmetics) but I certainly am not going to pay real money for her, nor play her, until she receives some serious work.
-
Hellfire didn't need nerfs and Wolf needs bigger buffs than what it's getting.

I actually really like the perk, I managed to get use out of it already, basically after healing a survivor, you can instead use the perk to passively heal you and do generators instead of wasting time by letting them finish healing you.
It definitely won’t be meta but I will for sure run it, if it were to ever get a buff, buff the healing timer to maybe 45 seconds.
Both this and Moment of Glory should be 45 seconds, agreed.
-
This chapter was listed with a new map on the roadmap. Where is it?
-
The game feels worse overall lately. Lag, weird hits, clunky controls, it's hard to explain but things really don't feel good right now.

Dredge is good for this since it has Undetectable during Nightfall.

Oh no, Mangled + Leverage, this heal will take forever.

I disagree, to be honest.
Unknown's mechanic works way better than Ghostface's reveal, and for Ghostface the reveal is the main counterplay, therefore it should work properly.
I don't think it would be terrible if Ghostface's mechanic was similar to one which actually works.
Unknown's requires looking at him for roughly 8 seconds to escape a vulnerable state that can be immediately reapplied by the Unknown. Ghostface is revealed in less than 3 seconds and it completely shuts down his power. The two are not comparable.
-
We need incentives to not be jerks to each other. Stick won't work, gotta use carrot. Anything to encourage not being an ass. Punishments won't work because punishments are more likely to goad people into doubling down on their behavior.

You can just wait to someone go down and run infront of the killer while they carrying. You will enter chase, drop the smoke bomb, and safely run off.
Alternatively divebomb into a teammate's chase and see if you can throw the killer off of both of you with a smoke bomb. It helps if your teammate is injured because they'll be more of a priority for the killer and therefore the killer is less likely to chase you.

i agree that there needs to be some regulation in the forums. i feel less and less comfortable interacting with the community on here because there's barely any room other for discussions other than someone being displeased with an in-game interaction, derailing balancing conversations, or ragebait.
additionally, this type of culture seems to be harming the community overall and placing an impression on people that the only way they'll be heard is by being the same way, and it has become very disappointing to log into the forums and constantly seeing that sort of thing every day.a post that garners negativity receives more attention than a post that attempts to start a positive or informative conversation actively. i've tested this with my own positive threads. to me, it feels like there's no enjoyment with talking to others anymore. it's whoever screams the loudest to be heard.
i understand that people are disgruntled with the condition of the game, but turning this into an entire platform dedicated to that may as well solidify all the negative aspects of the game since that's all people can ever focus on nowadays. the forums have merely become a place for people to vent their emotions and form a chain of agreement, not to interact with others and be social. This forum is one of the most miserable places I've ever seen, that's for certain. You can't talk about anything without someone chiming in with a hundred and one reasons why they're unhappy with the game, for the hundredth time in a row, in the hundredth thread in a row.

The connection between whole team slugging and the finisher mori is that killers may be inclined to pursue any method to make it more likely to get to the last survivor. I don't think this particular behavior will increase too much outside of super high mobility killers (e g. Blight, Billy, etc.) since it's not likely too viable in most matches with slower killers. But a lot of people have talked about tunneling, camping, and slugging being more common in their matches after the finisher mori went live.
It may be that killers are seeing that there's a goal at the end of the match that they want to get to and feeling a bit more inclined to push to get to the finisher mori. Personally, I've seen much more aggressive use of what would normally be considered bm tactics in my own matches, and often feel less inclined to play survivor as a result since the update.
The connection with the finisher mori and two survivor left condition is that when a killer wants the finisher mori, they'll be more inclined to slug for a 4k when there's a prize for doing it. This I think is more prevalent now.
Hatch is meant to make the endgame not into a death hunt with no chance for the last survivor because then why would the last survivor even want to play it out? But slugging for the 4k forces that situation to happen, and now there's a reward for doing it.
I don't believe any of this. Killers were apparently slugging, camping, and tunneling 24/7/365 if you take this forum as fact for the past three years. Killers have always slugged for the 4K even when it was only hooks. Killers, especially mobile ones, have gone for only-slugging tactics before the finisher mori was introduced. All these problems already existed, and the finisher mori is barely a "prize" to actually motivate killers to play any harder to receive; it's an animation, nothing more. To say the finisher mori is making these problems significantly worse, I can only call that confirmation bias.

The novelty would wear out really fast. Ultra-vanilla DbD would be interesting for a handful of matches and then most people would be done with it.
-
What is the connection between round-start slugging and the finisher mori?
And matches have been all but over by 2 dead survivors for, what, years? Unless they have only 1 gen left, they have very little chance to win. What does finisher mori have to do with that?

I have to disagree with this take. His cooldown used to be significantly longer (I think it was 30 seconds, then 24 seconds, and now 20 seconds). Having a longer cooldown means it's not a great idea to lose your stealth just to get an injury on one survivor, and it also means that you basically have to run a cooldown addon if you really want to commit to the hit-and-run playstyle.
Imo, hit and run is a strat that you use out of desperation to create pressure. It should not be the primary way to play Ghostface and it shouldn't be encouraged with a faster cooldown either. The primary way to play him should always be to stalk and ambush survivors.
I feel like a great "new ability" they could give him would be having some basekit rewards for stalking or downing marked survivors. Like if you down a marked survivors, you instantly recharge 50% Night Shroud. I feel like that would be healthier for the game and would make Ghostface feel more interesting/rewarding to play as.Isn't that last idea a weaker version of his iri add-on?
