Is bloodlust actually a problem?
Normally isnt. People want bloodlust removed because "its rewarding the killer for losing the chase" when in reality blood lusting most chases will probably lose you the game.
-
Yeah kinda weird when they gain an ego playing a very easy role.
-
Dc'ing to prevent perks is an exploit but no way to detect why a person dc'd so nothing can be done about it.

All i see are filters and comms. But let's not talk about that.
Filters shouldnt be possible on console unless there's a saturation setting on the tv or monitor they play on.
-
Damn not like killers havent seen the same survivor meta for 6 years and seeing 1 perk slightly change it because it was low key busted.
-
Yeah after they got their 8 second fatigue after dowining someone with victor then proceed to nerf stale biscuit for some reason.... I just gave up on playing them seriously. The 8 second fatigue kills my whole style of chase twins which is less boring to go against than slug twins but I guess victor needs a 5 second cooldown when people still don't know how to kick.
-
honestly trapper, not because playing him is boring, but playing the game in its current state is boring. If you could have a chance to 2k without survivors literally throwing the game then it would be much more fun to play.
-
Everything QOL thing thats in every other game ever, competitive or not.

And what can survs do against bloodlust or windows blocked after 3 vaults?
Hold W to another tile after you counted 3 window vaults? And counting how long it would take a killer to get blood lust and then dropping a pallet to break the killer out of it. Either way if you managed to make a killer bloodlust you both hits then you spent enough time for multiple gens to get completed which is part of your objective.
-
An actually optimized game and not "we're below a threshold for console".

Funny how everyone just calls other ignorant when they disagree without still giving any valid argument. But that's the way crying baby's are, just complain and get angry if you don't think the same. No point wasting more time with that kind of people.
You're right no point in wasting time with people that can't see how unbalanced a single perk can be.
Just please tell me how to "chase better" when someone uses dead hard for distance. If I mind game them they can just E to the pallet or window.

There is nothing survivors can do againts a lot of the killers perks either, so not even a valid point. Make sure your arguments make sense at least
Its a 4v1.... the person playing the role where you have to take on an entire team SHOULD be powerful to at least contend with the other 4 people that can bring 16 perks for that team. But DH (or exhaustion overall) is just too powerful. But I guess thats where ignorance gets you.
Either way having SOO much power in the 1v1 with only perks is kind of a stupid design.

If a perk that just give you a 1 second boost is a nightmare for killers, then that is killers lacking skills, the perk is still fine. Is not even that good of a perk, half the times it doesn't even work properly
Have you literally not seen an E key for distance? Cause you sound very ignorant/not informed to the issue of dh to where DH FOR DISTANCE IS NEVER IN THE CONTROL OF THE KILLER. There is nothing you can against it and has been proven by otz in his onyro video. Guess the guy that has been playing since day 1 and can play every killer to a degree of skill just "isn't good enough".
-
Idk when they'll do it but if they try to patch it, it prob wont work unless they completely revert the collision McLean worked on back down to the simple "is your body touching a wall? ok bump"

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that this person is literally putting herself at risk just to play a stupid game. When did personal responsibility get thrown out the window. It's a video game, which are known to cause epileptic seizures. It's like this person wants to die.
Still, measures should be put in place to prevent situations like this.

I'm gonna use that strat.
I didn't get blood lodge or mother's dwelling now what do I do?
There's plenty of maps where you can hold w and have a nurse have anything to go behind to blink.
-
Hmm yes lemme just hold W on blood lodge or mothers dwelling and completely invalidate nurses power.
-
Well thats the only reasonable thing to talk about now. They introduce MMR into a game that's not built for it then dont balance around the higher end of mmr... well they do I guess as "twins are monsters at high mmr".
-
As good as an idea this would be... you're expecting too much from a company that built this game on spaghetti code.
-
well given that with sloppy the % lost is increased by 25% so the 7% healing lost would go up to 8.75% per second. So it would take roughly 12 seconds to go from a 99'd heal to 0%. Other than that I don't quite get what you mean for the first part.
-
Exhaustion was implemented because people figured out you could sprint burst then balanced landing away to another time. Luckily it was brought in when feng released but I would like an overall exhaustion nerf as the mechanic has proven to be stupid powerful when all 4 survivors run it to basically win the game from the time bought from it.
-
I will stop tunneling and camping by a huge margain when survivor meta gets less busted.
-
Pity mechanic disguised as a 'how would the game end" when the EGC could just simply start when a third survivor is sacrificed.

Bigger fish to fry. We need less DH posts right now, and a LOT more cheating killer bot threads to escalate a sh!tstorm coming. It’s going to be really bad once more ppl start using these things.
DH and cheaters are the biggest fish to fry. They can work on both at once as there's one team for anti-cheat and one team for perk balancing.

There is a brief period where after the Dead Hard animation is finished where the survivor is slowed down and has to go through the running animation to get back to full speed. And the distance you get from Dead Hard is only really useful if the killer is quite close behind you, which at that point is basically dodging a hit because they are in your lunge range.
Clearly you havent seen a dh for distance. DH used as the dev's intended is 100% counterable, for distance its legit not.
-
They only hate him because hes becoming more common now. He was still a mend sim before but little people played him.

Maybe just learn to be patient and bait it. Approaching every survivor with the mindset that they have DH helps a lot.
Thats not the issue with dh. The issue is when it's used for distance which is uncounterable vs most killers.
-
Using monstrous shrine will cause deliverance to not have the safe unhook requirement.

Guess T-bagging isn't Toxic either then.
I mean it inherently is it but doing something like bleeding everyone out if you 4 slugged or tbagged at gates has some ulterior motive behind it.
-
I see no good argument for this. "I should be able to have a chance to escape after my pity mechanic was closed"

It's certainly more balanced than before, but it still has the same issues the old haddonfield had that made it painful to play on just with more dead zones.
It also surprises me there's absolutely no breakable doors on the map since their existence was the whole point the devs were keeping strong windows on maps.
Not more, slightly as the houses are near infinites and possibly can be if you have the speed boon with the right amount of not holding sprint. Still the same old "hear the terror radius a smidge and hold W to a house" basically invalidating the deadzones unless you're blight or oni.
-
@ThanosPAWG said:
Yea and it's much more balanced as well.
No I don't think so.

Grades were only hidden in an attempt to stop people from blaming "I keep going against rank 1 survivors as a rank 20". Killer is hidden to survivors to prevent people from putting on a full "anti this killer" build. Items are an extra thing you bring into a trial that can save a lot of time for survivors. I don't get why they would need to be hidden for something so powerful.
-
I don't get how smacking on hook and nodding is toxic... either way one of the reasons you're angry is because the killer is trying to win.... I honestly don't see why that could be a reason to be angry about.
-
I would say fix the issue where you flashlight blind the killer and blatantly see them turn around and still get blinded.

Or, you know, they could have had a challenge where they needed to fall from a great height or something. You don't always know why someone brings an offering, stop assuming.
I mean... look at their builds and how they responded. I highly doubt they had a challenge to fall from a great height while in chase. Even then there's no map thats exactly better for challenges other than gideons for drop pallets in chase/stun killers.

Still better than stepping on them and slashing them with random blood affects.

The only thing that really needs to be changed about blight is c33 and alch ring.

Are you telling me all those pro streamers wouldnt be able to win against 4 Survivors using DH ever? because thats a lie, they do win against 4 DHs on a daily basis, sometimes they even curbstomp those games, if they can do it then anyone can do it too, it may be hard, it may force people to analyze why they are getting smashed, it may require people to play better but its doable... so yes, you may have lost at least some those games because they were the better players.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2940292#Comment_2940292
Sad but true.
4 Good survivors that know how to use dh is nearly unbeatable against 90% of the killer roster and has been proven many times in many streams... The only time I have ever seen a sweat squad really get 4k'd was against a good blight or nurse. That's only because they never get overly altruistic if they don't need to.

The lengths some of yall go to in order to defend toxic behavior that has no defense.
Someone played a map offering to go to a map they like (that isn't even all that unbalanced) and your response is "I'm gOinG tO mAke SuRe thEIr gaMe iS mIseRaBle bCuZ I hAte iT....."
You and OP need to grow up
I mean if I'm gonna have a miserable time because the survivors chose the map that is unbalanced and you can't change that fact then yes if they don't want to have fun then neither will I. Either way face camping isn't toxic but the motive might be.
Also I don't see what's so immature about not wanting to play an unbalanced map but hey I guess taking the smart approach is immature nowadays. Why try when I know for a fact that by the time the first chase ends through 10 pallets that 4 gens will be done and if I leave chase the same thing will happen. And I can't split pressure because the map has a ridiculous gen spread.

I'm kinda curious, what makes Ormond such a bad map? I kinda like it and tend to do decently there.
Insane gen spread, still very generous pallet spawns and main building.
-
@WesCravenFan said:
Jesus, you just decided they weren't allowed to play the game. 6K blood? How much game time did that poor Survivor get?
I mean with an ormond offering they knew exaclty how bad that map is for killer. If he didn't tunnel or camp he would have most likely gotten no kills.
-
It shouldn't as entity blocked gens block passive regression like ruin, call of brine, or dry kicks. Not something that straight takes % away from a gen like Surge or Pain Res.
-
Normally the chain hunt shouldn't affect the box holder UNLESS you hold it for a long period of time then you will get harassed by chains for holding the box hostage until you drop it for another survivor.

If they are on console then they cannot be banned I am afraid, as the support team will likely think that you are lying as cheating on console is not possible. The person you played against most likely was a PC player who happened to get into console cross play.
Cheating on console is possible but HIGHLY not worth it as the respective console company can just disable your console from getting online services.

This is an interesting thread to read, I guess it's not as bad as it looks?
So I looked at the thread and apparently "his detection box was just visible enough" even though the percentage of the model otz could see was prob less than 5%. So in theory they for whatever reason made the detection box BIGGER THAN HIS ACTUAL MODEL..... honestly great decision making.

Yeah I wouldn't recommend playing ghost face until this is fixed.

I mean if you think the Survivor meta perks are 'busted'
Then yeah, it is the case for the rest of em
Exhaustion which buys a lot of time, unbreakable which prevents you from snowballing, coh which prevents an entire playstyle, bt which buys a lot of time, deli which lets your teammates sit on gens until one starts a chase then get yourself off hook to work on a gen.
Overall killer meta has nothing on this because of the fact that most of the survivor meta has no earning requirement but are still powerful. Mostly all killer perks have that unless its ruin, corrupt, deadlock.
