I mean yeah as killer I don't try and let myself be stunned.
As surv, even in my last few surv games I've gotten stuns on the killer. It's all about positioning.
Pallets can stun. That doesn't mean you always have to stun them though nor should you always get the stun.
-
As I say, almost any change like this would also need to be removed if any survivor entered the area.
But then again I really don't think there should be a penalty for it
-
They could just not have used any perks π€
Unless you saw them do something very perkish like dead hard or lithe. The. Yeah it probably would be a bug
-
πβΊπ
Otherwise I basic attack a lot and usually just chainsaw when Im breathing on their necks or I know there isn't a pallet or nearby window to save them.
Also sometimes when I try and extend the sweep the chainsaw is put away do maybe try and time them so it doesn't do that.
-
Yes.
-
I feel like that would cause longer loading times and some very unsavory map generations.
There would probably be some areas that couldn't be next to one another like main building and shack. The various odd hill.
The ability to play on said map could really drastically change.
Either way I having the maps more randomized would be pretty solid. π
-
After it activates survivors can look for it when someone gets downed. If a door can be opened or 99'd. Then searching for the totem will very easy as there is no time limit just the survivors hook countdown.
Best I can say
-
I for one am completely fine with noed. I feel that any change could make it worse.
There are many things to do with noed.
1) cleanse/bless the totems beforehand. There are already so many perks for this.
2) open the door(s) and escape.
3) find the totem and cleanse it.
These are all viable actions. There have been many games where my noed was hunted down and cleansed. And others that the survivors just left.
-
I think noed is fine and any change to it would be bad.

Now he has sunglasses and a cigarette.

Make a post about it and talk about all the benefits that has for you in your own post.
I don't really need too since I rarely use hexes and I think the hatch thing hurt me as a killer since I gotta be extra careful now since I can't see hatch either.
So...not a lot of bonuses I get it from it.

To bless/cleanse it went from 14 seconds to 24 seconds. Read the notes. If you're a hunter main enjoy your boosts you will have them for a long time unlike the new survivor.
Pretty sure the blessing of a hex is 24 and blessing and cleansing are both 14.
but hey, I don't read the notes often π€· guess I gotta look now to fact check
Edit: fact checked patch notes and wiki. Pretty sure I was correct.
-
Well...
The boon change was just so survs can't bless and cleanse a hex at the same time. If your so worried about the extra time just cleanse the hex and there's no issue.
The key change wasn't what many people expected, both surv and killers included. Plus, killers slugged for hatch before anyways. So the only change was multiple survivors can't escape and the hatch only spawns in a 1v1.
So there really wasn't any direct nerfs to survivors unless you count the hatch itself.

I actually meant in the Killers Terror Radius wich would be 40m during Frenzy. Also its just 50% wich is really slow.
well if that's the case, I guess it would neato too then
-
All of em seem pretty neato. 15 is a bit much though.
-
I am an advocate for changing the egc.
It's initial design to prevent the game from being held hostage. Done.
Now it should prevent the game not going into the egc meaning stopping 99ing the door.
And also remove the extended timer for a hooked/dying survivor.
-
It's better than survivors having free and easy escapes after they've lost or got a certain point to end the game early.
-
I hope they change the model too
-
I do dislike strong loops that force the killer to waste time so yeah, I wouldn't mind.
Maybe adding it if basement is there or the other way around.
-
I say no. I think it'd just be more clutter and annoying to have in game.
-
The point is stop the last surv from getting hatch/escaping.
It makes it so much easier to prevent a escape when the other surv is already down when you hook the other one. They can crawl, but if you know where they are (bbq or deerstalker) there easy to hook.

I'm not so link savvy but it would probably be on the first page.

I tried to do a quick search and couldn't find anything on the matter.
The closest thing I found anywhere was this post:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/289382/hacker-destroys-my-ps5-thanks-bhvr
however, unluckily even in this post there's a lack of evidence / troubleshooting, so even giving the benefit of the doubt one can't really know what happened and if the console is in fact bricked (assuming it doesn't even turn on, it's probably not even bricked, but broken, which would be even worse...).
Since OP is allegedly reporting statements from hackers, can we have some more info?
Another guy just posted that his and his friends consoles were bricked if you didn't see it.
-
I only came for the base kit power change.
I think it's unnecessary since it would only punish cannibal for the survivors bad play.

So if you get 2kills but the entity is displeased do you count that as a win or loss?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581701#Comment_2581701
Lol these are not win loss conditions but just you playing the game at a very casual level which theres nothing wrong with but i wanted to know about specific win conditions.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581708#Comment_2581708
I see where your going with 4k as a win but 3k is not a win to you? You know how the hatch can prevent you from getting a 4k no matter how good you play/played. If you got 1k, in MY book you lost period. 3 people escaped so how do you consider that a win? Regardless of HOW you got the kill(s) tunneling or not a win is a win and a loss is a loss. 1k is not a win at all sorry.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581709#Comment_2581709
You seem to be generally speaking so i'll flat out tell you that your wrong. 2 kills is not winning or beating survivor, it means you went even with survivor. Agreed that 1k is a win on the survivor side.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581729#Comment_2581729
Its not easy getting 4k no matter how good or godlike you are because of the variables and situations ie like going against swf or having a bad map. Not saying killer cant have a bad game and that solo survivors are really on point but this is rare. Map difficulty for the killer has to be factored in. If you think that getting anything less than 4k is not a win or "less" then i'd essentially would have lost tons of matches because of the hatch lol. This simply is not the case and you cant base a win off of 4k because thats not realistic and silly thinking honestly.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581729#Comment_2581729
Its different and varies individual to individual so to each his own but your "fun" is different from my fun and being very competitive which i am i want to win period even when im trying "fun" stuff. The brutal, merciless and ruthless is the games evaluation of how well you performed or lack thereof so therefore it "is" good for tournament settings, its perfect actualy because tournaments for this game needs a point system to determine winners and losers.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581748#Comment_2581748
Straight forward and to the point, I like it! )
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581797#Comment_2581797
On the survivor side ummm.......
.......
ok
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581822#Comment_2581822
If "they" die so what 2, 3 kills? You need to speak specifically as i dont understand your post. This game is terribly imbalanced so theres always gonna be gaps between matches due to bad maps etc. Too many variables.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2581849#Comment_2581849
Ok i main killer but when i play as survivor (which im really good at) if you get 4 BBQ stacks but fail to kill anyone and get Entity Displeased how do you consider that a win? In my eyes you lost period. You can have your "stacks" and get your extra BP, it doesnt take away from the fact that you lost the game lol. My apologies but i really dont understand this line of thinking. The devs give away free BP all the time and BP is not THAT hard to get in this game especially as killer. I dont agree with these BBQ stacks = win replies sorry.
Also how is escaping a loss for survivor? lol What?
"They" as in the 4 survivors π
As for otherwise, there's always those games that really feel fun and enjoyable. That feel as if the game isn't imbalanced and that I wasn't getting frustrated. It's hard to really say what goes into those games, but you know it when it happens.
-
Simply (and also mainly): If they die.
Otherwise: if I genuinely enjoy the game. Feel as if it could be been either way. The game feels as if there was no gap between killer and survivor.

Bodyblocking is fine. Especially when you get an insanely alrustric team where 3 of them will take a hit to stop you hooking the 4th. It's a pretty good deal imo.
I think body blocking is okay, except when the killers "hook" prompt is disabled due to a survivor under the hook. The when you down another the same thing happens, yadda yadda. Very annoying.

But increasing the amount of Totems will also benefit Killers. 4 Survivors can bring a Boon each and break 1 Totem and Hexes don't take priority over Boons. Increasing Totem amount will allow NOED or Plaything to activate even in this situation
True, more chances for those perks, but is it worth the extra few totems?. I've played games already and not once have they booned/cleansed all the totems to block my noed.
So imma go with the stance of, a few more totems isn't worth the small change it might give both sides.
-
I would also like to say that, the killer can block windows, pallets, yadda yadda, but that doesn't prevent the survivor from doing the objective, as in gens. The survivors blocking the hook prompt does.
-
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Sure, maybe less than 10. Still, it should be increased if Boons could get destroyed
I mean we have 5 now so..If we try and mediate it, it would probably end on 7, maybe 6.
But also a killer breaking the totem is fine without an increase in totems. On one hand the killer has no hexes/ has no reason for more than 1-2 hexes (leaving 3 totems). And on the other why would survivors need more totems to bless.
So I think the best balance in this scenario is simply being able to destroy totems that are blessed
-
Imma be real with ya man. I agree with breaking the totem, maybe even giving an option it break or snuff out.
But I do not agree with 10 totems. That's would probably break the game and many perks would also have to be tweaked/ possibly reworked
-
The words camp and tunnel are vague, but I'll go with the extreme ends of the definitions.
Tunnel: chasing a single survivor no matter what and disregarding the game.
Camp: staying directly next to a hook with/without another survivor nearby to ensure they die, disregard the game also.
Either way the post tells the killer to
- don't punish survivors
- go easy on survivors
- give up if your doing bad
- and your not good, don't even think your good.
-
They do

I'm not going to tier a killer based on add ons so no, pig is not b tier
-
Yeah the whole survs can block the hook prompt is stupid, needs to be removed π
Prompt shouldn't be blocked, but rather just push any survivors out of the way
-
Free DC's, noed still pops, what not to love this patch π
-
I can tell you now, I never intended to boycott the game. I stop playing for a few days, but I decided I'll continue playing and just not buy anything for the foreseeable future.

then make it so the Killer can only use one hex if he uses ruin or devour
Or hexes could be put on another totem that is unoccupied.
But honestly, I don't think any changes like that should be implemented and that perks should be changed (like undying to it's former self)

We'd have to be mad to still play him. It's like banging your head against a wall and saying you like it
Honestly the whole aiming down sights thing isn't that bad.
The tr radius thing though is a meh. I don't really care that about that.
-
@Flock_of_Crows said:
Thats why they have to make a choice either cleanse but not use their own perks or use the boon but suffer the Killers hex perk
Yeah, but then it makes it to where the killer can abuse it by simply not snuffing it. Now devour is Infinite and ruin too. Those books ain't got nothing on those.

It would counter it and make hexes reliable again if we keep it as is hexes are useless and thats not good either
Gotta think how can survivors get rid of it if they bless over it?
They'll have to bless somewhere else and come back or be stuck.

OP idea is good and yours bad. If u need to clean all 5 to get rid of Hex, Ruin and Devour will be OP.
Well I guess that why hexes glow and there are anti totem perks in the game for. To make them not OP.

How is it complex?
They bless it, but the totem is still hexed for one. That would cause so many problems. Then the hex apparently lies dormant for it to be snuffed, that's not any better.
-
Too complex to me, just let undying keep relighting until all totems are cleansed.

I had to go head and play a game with my boy and I can confirm the only thing that was bad was my aim π€

What free killers and survivors? The only "free" killers and survivors were the ones that came with the base game: Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly, Dwight, Meg, Claudette, and Jake. Every other one dropped as DLC, originally.
Well when I began playing all I know is hag was already unlocked, then later on huntress was also free π€·. That's all I'm saying, so I was surprised to see that hag wasn't free when released.
I was even surprised when I saw hunterss because I had no idea who that was I was downloaded her from the store.
But seriously my memory isn't the best for somethings.

Not just in this game. Most game charms are pointless.
