I'd say its fairly okay. A little unfair? Maybe
-
If a loyal player takes a break, then it probably shows there are issues. I may not agree with everything Otz says, but hey...we all have our limits I suppose.
-
Well....his form could've been better. I personally don't facecamp AND continuously hit the survivor. But hey, each our own.
Being real. Camping? It sucks, no real way to completely balance(?) It without it breaking the game. I already dislike basekit BT.
Other than that, yeah he probably did in one of the few instances I'd say, tunnelled you afterward.
The whole interaction of facecamping and tunnelling do probably need a change.
-
I'll DC if I've been inconvenienced.
I hit a guy with OTR? I've dc'd cause of it.
Got stunned? Yeah sure, DC.
-
Yeah ive seen it
-
But I like seeing their names.
The validity of dodging trolls and cheaters or players you simply don't want to play against again is fairly valid.
And the Bubba masks...well that had nothing to do with streamers for the most part. Just the fact a select group of people used the masks against Claudette and so it was deemed inappropriate and removed. Mainly because of accusations of black face and racism. It was true though. Ruined it for everyone they did.
Man...we need the masks back. Get em for the other survivors too. At least the other original ones...
-
He could use a buff. Then another one. And ta know what, we could probably do another buff as well.
He sucks ngl

I always been saying Slenderman

shrine of secrets dawg, theres a chance
Nah
-
Its apart of the game and even if you let your teammates die to get it. You might not even have been able to win if you unhooked them.
It may suck, but I could see it as being a win.
-
There doesn't need to be a punishment for camping.
As for even base game changes to stop this. I don't think Ive seen a super great way.

Use perk reinsurance. Also use this time when such a person is on hook to do gens as quickly as possible.
Doing this will result in camper getting 1-0 kills (or actually stopping cheap facecamps). Sure enough, you also need to play efficiently and actually hook trade once all reassurences from all survivors run up.
The solution shouldn't have to be to buy the dlc.

I don't think you're understanding
Auric Cell exclusive skins are going to be made non-exclusive. So people that wanted it and would have payed shards for them had to buy them with auric cells. Now BHVR is offering the option so it's understandable that people feel disappointed, because why didn't they do that before?

Although I understand the desire for some characters that are really just.. HUMAN... I wholeheartedly agree with you. I want more diversity as much as possible.
Having icons like Hannibal Lecter, Norman Bates, Jack Torrence, and MANY others would be VERY cool... but they're just humans with a few identifying traits. Right? Couldn't it be so much cooler if we get more diversity that add a more inhuman population to the Killer roster?
Fr fr. Need some spice in our pie
-
More BP isn't going to stop me from playing efficiently in the moment.
-
If the survivors can understand it's a 3gen you just gotta force the progress on the gens. All you can do. Whether you get pushed away just to come back or not.
-
Lots of people really be hating on FNAF, but that'd be cool being real.
hope we dont see any license of normal people. I'd prefer some sort of actual monsters or more unique looking killers or survivors. Like Wesker. He's just a guy with a tentacle....ya know. It just not that cool.

"Due to having originally implemented the rift as a cash grab and as such not caring to give those players who do not wish to spend money on this mechanic any benefits. It will now give additional bonuses and rewards for leveling up the free track".
They'd just have to admit the rift is only there for money and not because bhvr is player conscious.
Either way, any type of battlepass shouldn't skip out on free rewards or have any big fluff in it (looking at you Apex banner rewards ๐).
At least reward free players with rewards such as BP or whatever.
-
Even though I do play killer, I've always said lucky break needed a change. Idk if this one is it though
-
Now they can work on us getting the add ons we want easier!
-
I've always a bit despite blastmine. Seeing people upset it was changed just kind of makes me happy I guess.
-
Crowd Control:
-no longer a hex.
-blocks a window for (I guess the same amount of time as bamboozle?)
- I think it should go on cooldown after the vault so a survivor cannot switch the window it just blocked. Probably the same time as the window is blocked.
As if right now this what what I'm feeling for it. Maybe. Missing something, but there it is.
-
12 meters of the killer is looking at the gen? That's very far.
A remote stun? If a survivor can get away with it they can do the gen and then easily get away as if it was sprint burst. Add this stun with sprint and that's a lot of not catching up the killer is doing.
-
Both would become annoying really quickly and as there are already complaints about boons still, any of those changes would be heavily criticized.
The first one is good In theory, but would get old fairly quick with the boon being put up quickly if you can stack the speed early enough.
The second one would be chaos. Infinitely stacking. Even if it was capped with blessing and cleanses, this one gives less risk and more rewards by farming them on killer or the killer keeping it there or tunneling the booner out of the game.

They could've not gotten rid of the BBQ/WGLF bonuses. Then I'd be happier. Those bonuses being gone has decreased my enjoyment of the game (as I wrote about earlier in this thread). It's not about costs or value, it's just about the feeling of being rewarded. But that's my opinion.
I agree with at opinion.

They reduced Bloodweb costs by 33%, lowering the Bloodpoint cost of stuff in the Bloodweb. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/348
They could've done better than just 33% then.
-
I miss it.
I won't agree that the grind as been reduced for the better though. I don't even remember what they did. They gave us perks, but what else...
-
Weird. I say the exact opposite for survivors ๐ค
-
I definitely don't love the game. I won't downplay your experiences, but I just cannot see how anyone who isn't bias could live the game.
There are just too many negatives for me to truly enjoy the game, but I guess your will is just stronger than mine when it comes to Dead By Daylight. Your just the better player.
-
I dont because I'm not gonna let them stun me.
-
Yeah, killers do needs better chase perks to end the faster. I've said crowd control doesn't need to be a hex. That's would prevent survivors from being able to loop killers for too long already. Even the killers powers aren't all good for that.
-
That's just how the dice rolls.
I personally dc'd my last game because someone had otf and went in my direction. They didn't run into me, but it was close enough. Well I hit them and well...yeah ๐ฎโ๐จ

Bleed out timer could be converted into a hatch timer. Maybe they could even give credit to killers for any hook states they may have missed out on because of it.
That could be okay
-
Yeah, but then us killers will have to fight with the surv for hatch and that's no fun.
-
It really needs to stop with the whole rng based stuff. Little over 700k BP and not once did I get the add-on I wanted.
Along with those changes it'd really would make me care about it more.
-
After the nerf the perk doesn't need anymore nerf posts ๐.
-
I don't have alot of motivation to play normally. That's pretty much it.
I've started to play more normally, but I won't hesitate to facecamp if a survivor annoys me.
-
A proximity chat would probably be best.
All that it needs is an option to mute or just not join the chat and show who is and isn't in the chat.
Killer would more than likely not have access to the chat, but a perk to possibly listen in on it would be pretty cool idea.
-
This level of genjutsu won't work on me.

Well if you hook someone then specifically target them... doesn't it count??
Not really working like that. I wasn't specifically going after Rebecca that game. I was playing normally. Rebecca, unfortunately for her, found herself in an easy position to be downed. Even being unhooked mere feet away from me.
I might feel bad that their teammate just farmed them, but who am I to deny myself another easy down.
it was just an unfortunate situation Rebecca found herself in that isn't really either of our faults.
She was an easy target and I was simply her opposition.

If you camp the hook (camping from 32 meters away is still camping, feigning going away when in reality you're waiting for the unhook) and then retargetting the rebecca instead of the Leon that unhooked her is called tunneling.
Behavior admitted that this was a problem and is trying (kinda... but they're slow) to entirely remove that strategy from the game, because it obviously leads to a lot of players disconnecting on the first down because of the fear they might not get to play the game at all due to tunneling.
This leads to other players losing shortly after.
That's why OtR exists. So that if you use that strategy, it takes you an additional hit.
That's why DS should be baseline, so that if you still go for that rebecca, you'd eat an additional hit AND then get DS'd, requiring to chase even longer, and in the end losing all generators.
And honestly, we still need more mechanics that happen if you tunnel someone out of the game anyway, like giving a HUGE repair speed bonus to all other survivors if they've never been hooked.
When behavior finally puts these mechanics in the game, you're probably going to stop playing killer. And... that's exactly the goal. You either learn to play as killer or leave the game. Everyone's winning either way.
Its as I said. I'll only call it actual "tunneling" if you are specifically targeting someone. I might specifically target someone because they blinded me at a pallet.
The game in question I had no intention of camping or tunneling. That does not mean I won't kill a survivor if given the chance.
-
Cause I'm trying to get to a surv right as the game starts.
-
You'd have to commit to a chase. When a survivor can loop there isn't much to do.
-
I wouldn't recommend either one.
Both killers are weak.
The perks can be decent.
-
Maybe chases are fun for survivors, but it's definitely makes the game stale for killers. That's one reason I dislike the game.
As for objectives. I don't know. Can't be anymore tedious or difficult. Any kind of find the part should probably be easy to find.
As for ranked queue. I don't know why care so much about it. Sure, your probably going to find more players taking it seriously and so possibly better games. Don't know why people want Multiversus ranked when the game is below F tier.
-
I wouldn't recommend it. I stopped playing Slinger because of the huge nerfs he got.

That's exactly because you don't see any moral problem there that developpers need to terminate your hurry to tunnel, by making it non optimal to tunnel.
That's also why it is heavily demanded that DS becomes baseline (and personally I thin kbaseline should be 5 seconds, and DS either makes it longer or makes it an exhaustion perk with move speed after the stun).
If you're gonna be like "I'm going for the guy that got unhooked", the game needs to tell you No.
If you don't understand why, that's okay. You don't need to if the game tells you no.
Plainly, there is nothing wrong with re-downing or re-hooking.
The only problem is if your specifically being targeted for whatever reason. Maybe it's because of your name, maybe because of your character.
Me re-hooking a Rebecca that got unhooked as I'm walking away from the hook isn't me specifically targeting her. Its me taking advantage of the situation. That's all.
-
Man, all this tunneling and camping stuff got me feeling some type of way.
I would definitely post a game I had so people can explain how or why I was or wasn't "tunnelling"
It'd be a nice learning experience for us all ๐ค. Actually putting this discussion into practice.
-
I'd go for this. Then again, I don't use scourge perks anyways
