It'll eventually be done.

I'd go for Discordance, i don't like early/late-only Perks.

But how would you bring the others in? Just make them apear with the Entity or something?
The same way Killers appear in the main menu when switching Killers, probably.
-
I like Maps the most, but it's gotta be the Toolbox that i bring in the most.
I'm a main objective guy, it's not because genrushing is the latest trend or anything, that's just how i've always been.
It's just that Maps only come in 2 rarities, and the lowest one is Rare.
There's 6 Toolboxes & 2 of them are lower than Rare.
-
It's been fine.
Had some problems with a controller preventing me to play (#########), but other than that, fine.
-
They moved to 3rd person first with Hag cause it would've been way too hectic in firstperson, not seeing all too well what you're doing to the Survivor.
Then i guess they liked thirdperson and used it for more.
I personally like thirdperson, i can see the kill with the outfit i chose.
-
I've always liked playing Wraith, and i've always liked Nurse visually.
Then they decided to make them a thing in that one banner.
Almost like they're spying on me. π€
-
Disagreed, you're not supposed to get yourself free from the Killer's grip often (not counting Decisive Strike), not even sometimes, but rarely.
-
Yes.
-
Carburetor Tuning Guide.
A pretty substantial buff to everything.
-
No thanks to the 2nd suggestion, i'd like to keep my Faint, Hazy & Murky Reagants as Killer.
Making it as thick as possible can really help my Wraith.
As for Survivor, idk.
I don't really care about any of the 4, and neither do i care if someone else uses any of those 4.
-
Windstorm.
Any Windstorm's good enough on its own, but of course: Faster = better.

I had the same issues with the controls. Someone on their mobile forums was giving their review of the port and though I did agree with a lot of what they were saying, there were somethings about the port I found odd.
One of the differences between the two versions that I find odd is how the huntress's humming works.
On PC, it's non-directiontional but here you get a little indicator to where it's coming from. It could be that they used an older version of her before her humming was changed. The indicator kind of just flat out tells the survivors where she is during the session.
The only other thing I don't like are the controls. I don't find them much of an issue on survivor. The third person camera is generous enough that I don't find myself swiping frantically while playing and the button to quickly look behind you is pretty nice as well.
Killer though, at least to me, feels like I'm operating a crane. I'm having to spin my camera looking for survivors, faking directions/moon walking. Autorun is at times helpful, but you can't strafe while it's active and if you some how walk past a survivor, you'll have to stop and slowly turn. If you walk into a group of survivors, sometimes your camera will lock onto different ones depending on their distance. This can be jarring when your in a chase with an injured survivor and all of a sudden, your camera jumps to a Claudette (that you didn't even see) crouching in a corner. Then there are things like tapping the edges of the screen will turn your camera in that direction. The same edge where all the interaction buttons are. The killer role has always been about time management, but it feel(s) like so much of it is wasted fighting the controls.
Over all, I think it's nice. I'm super amazed at how they were able to downsize the game. I admit that the major issues I have can't be fixed due to it's medium. It's a mobile game and controls like one, but its definitely still worth a try.
Can't deny that it's generally nice to have it on phone, it just means more people will find out DbD is a thing.
-
Playing on mobile still sucks to me though, no mobile game can address that.
Also, the more progress i make on PC, the less motivated i'll be to start all over on a new platform.
Good for you that you enjoy it!
I'm even jealous mobile's got bots.
But nah, not worth it to me to start a mobile save.

Wait, is that really true that if one person is still Exposed, the next person to make a hook rescue won't be?
Suddenly a lot of my Pig games make so much more sense. I always just assumed that I must have mistaken who the rescuer was when they didn't go down in one hit.
Yup, once it's made someone Exposed, you can't get another one until that one wears off.
You either go for mr. Exposed, or you don't go for any Exposed at all.
The visual timer on the Perk icon is a pretty good indicator of this: While Pop Goes The Weasel's timer resets if you get another hook within 60 seconds, MYC's timer will never reset.
If it would apply Exposed on multiple Survivors in a 60-second timeframe, i'd wager the timer would work similar to PGTW's timer.

That'd suck on Azarov's Resting Place.

For the purpose of this particular bit of data, a "success" is killing 3 or more Survivors. As you know "success" is defined in different ways for different players depending on what their goals are.
Okay.
-
What they said.
If this still occurs after facing the same Killer many times, you should report it as a bug.

You could do maps in realms, and then bunch realms together that only have one map.
I'll add it to my suggestions list. π
You're at the top of that list though, since you're the first on it. π

@Almo said:
When players have Tombstone Piece equipped, their success rate is lower than with any other addon. This comes straight from the statistics. Vanity Mirror is close, but it's not the lowest.
Could you explain what you mean with "success"?
-
Well i did Teachables before.
And doing 1 per day means this'll take well over 2 weeks, but i don't want to flood the poll section either, so 1 per day seems nice.
It also gives everyone a chance to see it (hopefully), cause timezones means some people are sleeping right now, or working, etc.
After this, i haven't really thought about it.
I also didn't think of doing these Add-on ones until well over a few months after i finished the Teachable ones.
I might go for Offerings next, but we'll see...
-
Stitched Bag.
I prefer being able to just spam Bear Traps.
-
@Peanits Accidentally pressed the Enter button before i could do all options, could you please delete this? π
-
Not really.
I love me some Wraith, and i really do like Windstorm, even the Mud version, especially after realizing how little Swift Hunt actually does.
But unlike how most people experience him, i don't feel crippled if i use something other than Windstorms.

If i remember correctly gens dont regress when there blocked even if you have ruin
So even if you could kick it, it'd be useless since they're stopped?
-
You gotta view it like a finish line in iceskating or cycling: Once 1 cell of their body is on the finish line, they finished.
Why is it this way?
Cause it's been this way forever and it's not a problem whatsoever.
If the argument is that it's not realistic, my argument is that realism is often sacrificed for gameplay reasons.
-
Idk, from the top of my head...
Jinxed
Evil curses are born as the Survivors continue making their escape.
Every time a Generator is repaired, a random Dull Totem becomes a Hex Totem.
As long as the Hex Totem is up, it will afflict all Survivors with a Status Effect, picked randomly from this list:
- Blindness
- Exhausted
- Hindered
- Oblivious
A Status Effect cannot be chosen a second time.
If all 4 Status Effects are/were in play and the 5th Generator is repaired with a Dull Totem still out there, Jinxed destroys that last Totem and makes all 4 Status Effects permanent.
If no Dull Totems are available when a Generator is repaired, it will be skipped.
Again, idk, spontaneous ideas usually don't take balance into consideration...

Iβm glad they removed the ability for people to hold the game hostage. Remember those clips of killers bodyblocking multiple people in the basement until they disconnected? Or the last survivor creeping around for 30 minutes going locker to locker until the killer disconnected out of boredom? So glad this has gone.
Y'all are bringing back some horrid memories...
-
@Lexilogo said:
Not sure if this counts as a true removal, but as a Killer main I'm glad they removed and replaced Hex: Ruin. I'm sure that's an extremely uncontroversial opinion.
If that doesn't count, I'll settle for removing the ability to use Exhaustion perks multiple times in the same chase.
I guess you could say: I'm glad they got rid of the Skill Check version.

Nodding is fine if your just following the survivor and do it as a meme but while facecamping its kinda an equivlent to teabagging after a pallet stun imo
Sure, but neither are toxic.
If they were, a lot more reports would actually be valid.
-
I know it exists, but it gives me no direct benefits, so i don't care.
-
Nodding is toxic?
Well okay, nodding isn't.
But you're facecamping, and it's not toxic at all, but once you start nodding, then it's toxic?

Spine Chill.
Spine Chill.
Spine Chill.
Spine Chill has saved my bottom more times than I can count. It has helped me easily counter killers like Spirit, Nurse and Freddy and it has helped me make crucial decisions in game that usually eventually leads to my team winning the match.
Yeah, i love me some Spine Chill too.

I personally would rather be able to track the hatch easier than giving the map more charges.
Mainly because I have more than enough charges anyways for a quick glance at the auras.
I feel ya', ever since they made the change to not consume charges while filling up the interaction bar to start reading, i think way less of the Add-ons that give or save charges, since all i need is a quick glance at the Auras.
-
Death.
-
Lol, i'd have to actually look at the lobby to find out someone has a Key.
To put it more seriously: I do other stuff while the game loads me into a match, so i won't see who plays as who, who brings what, etc.
-
Uhh sure, but that won't be enough.
I always figured that the Red Stain should also be removed, and Hex Totems are viewed as Dull Totems. (Not making noise either.)
-
Gel Dressings.
Not a big fan of Med-Kits, but when i use them i plan to be very helpful, so i'll want loads of charges on it.

You really have to question the three people who decided it would be better to use a normal battery over a long life battery...
I can imagine some reasons, like often not needing more seconds than that, cheaper, more common on the Bloodweb...
When making these, I at first thought of excluding simply weaker versions, but in these polls, I want to allow ANY reason for an Add-on to be someone's favorite, so if someone likes Battery more than Long Life Battery because it's cheaper or whatever, I can't really exclude the option.
-
Long Life Battery.
6 more seconds is nice to me, and Rare isn't all that rare to me.
-
But why?
There's no "why" here, only a "should".
-
If you think cheaters are bad now, you'd have loved to see the first few years of DbD.
I haven't actually met many speedhackers, but they were all before the anti-cheat got some huge-ass updates.
Also, with the recent pandemic being a thing, DbD's average has risen by like 10k.
I remember 12k being the average, now i see ~22k.
-
Bruh, the moment you choose to play as Killer, u bad!
-
Fyi, your idea of fun might not be theirs.
If they do this, then that probably means they have fun getting quick kills and don't mind the slight BP loss.
-
Just like having the right console or needing the right hardware in your PC, you require to have a stable (enough) connection to be able to play.
The reason you get punished is because the match being thrown into disarray is still happening because of problems on your end, it has nothing to do with whether the disconnect was intentional or not.
I can understand you're in quite the pickle, but i don't think they're not gonna turn off bans for bad internet because there's a few in this exact predicament.
Of course, i could be proven wrong on that, but it hasn't happened before yet.
-
I think it'd be a pretty massive nerf as it'd hit him hard on map mobility.
Having to go to a Locker to refill just for that wastes time everytime it happens.
It can also lead to you not having fuel, or very little, once you do find someone, making people have to decide between 2 ultimatums: Don't sprint around and save fuel for taking one down, or use fuel for running around and restrict yourself to just your main weapon.
-
I think both sides can feel the issues to great degrees.
There's enough posts on here saying: "Killers have it so bad!" & "Solo Survivors have it so bad!"
-
Strategists love this guy.
And well, okay, i also like using strategies, but not by having to go around and placing Bear Traps.
-
Not a fan of just one particular genre.
Rap is probably one of my least favorites, but i still have a couple of songs of that genre that i really like.
