dead DEVs, tell me why if the head of the dying survivor reach the exit they are out???????

legit 85% of the dying survivor body is still inside the map, how does that make sense? if half of it was outside then yea makes sense but why the head???? like, i could drag their legs???? to bring them back in????? logically?????

  • Bro. If you're that worried about someone escaping on you.... There's a problem. If the guys head got outside of the map he beat you. You have 5-10 minutes to kill him. And you're talking about the difference of 1 seconds to crawl a little further.

yea, i got them at the exit before they actually elgity leave, but because of the long ass animation of them falling, their tiny hair reach the exit, they are out, that's robbery.

i am used to this, but still, i hate it

if you use ds, adrenaline, unbreakable and dead hard in your build, you are even more try hard than anyone else

Only one of those perks I use is decisive strike, to counter try hard monitor and abuse deathslingers proxy camping just out my teammates hearing so they can come in and take dirty shots while I'm getting unhooked.

Play both roles, like I do, and you wouldn't treat survivors like npcs. There are tactics killers use that are pathetic. Breaking Chase and going back to the hook so you can tunnel/camp, ebony Moris, many other things are just douche moves. I wouldn't demean myself to do them to other people, because I'm a decent person and its not that important. When I play survivor its always swf so its social and fun. Yeah we mess with the killer, but we don't bully, turns my stomach when I see an idiot survivor teabagging someone at the exit for losing, I swear half the population of this game is infants

    Thank you.

    so why????

the Entity blocks you from chasing and grabbing the Survivor.

there is the logic you seek.

if you think that makes no sense, you better question yourself why you seek logic in a game with a spider god

  • You gotta view it like a finish line in iceskating or cycling: Once 1 cell of their body is on the finish line, they finished.

    Why is it this way?

Cause it's been this way forever and it's not a problem whatsoever.

If the argument is that it's not realistic, my argument is that realism is often sacrificed for gameplay reasons.

  • It's probably just simpler from a practical standpoint.

    ↑this! I wouldn't say that any better!

But let me give you an explanation based on lore:

If the killer doesn't manage to kill the survivor in the trial then the killer failed. It doesn't matter if the survivor's hand is on the exit by an inch or more, if it's out then they're out that's the rules.
