I meant killer's habilities, not perks, but that's also really satisfying, like getting three kills out of Blood Warden
Oh sorry, my brain blew one of its fuses.
There was this one time i remember where i managed to gen-grab someone as Wraith without needing the Coxcombed Clapper and the "The Ghost" - Soot Add-ons.
Moreso their foolishness than me being good, but it felt good anyway to just not have to chase them.
They most likely wanted to finish the Generator.
-
Killing all with Devour Hope.
-
My Wailing Bell doesn't fit my cosmetic selection, so of course I'd be all for it.
-
Yes.
-
Uhmm, 3-4 times?
I went completely private-profile really soon after the game released though, so who knows, I might have gotten ten times that.
-
From their perspective, it makes sense to go for Nurse before any weak Killers.
If there's something too strong and something too weak, you go for the strong one first.
Again, "from their perspective", can't stress that enough.

That's because the Unreal Engine- which DBD uses- is made by Epic, silly.
Btw, why is it under publisher?

@Thelzxx ######### really? Its also on Uplay right?
That would blow my mind a Ubisoft game exclusive to Epic when Ubisoft has their own store.
It's all about the money.
If they think they'll sell more on EGS, they'll do it.
Plus the exclusivity bonus certainly won't hurt.

I like the mindgame part of looping, but I don't like looping itself.
If we could have mindgames in a different form, I'd be more than interested to learn about it.

"fair"
Ahhh, the good ol' subjective term...
-
Cute name blockers, but I'd love to see their equipment.

While I never encountered snares awake, I have definitely gotten hit by fake pallets repeatedly while awake.
@Eninya Is that how it's supposed to be?
Cause that doesn't sound like it.
-
Lol, Exposed works, but The Third Seal doesn't?
Yeah, cause THAT would otherwise make Blindness stronger than Exposed.
-
- No standard 7-second countdown
- Teleporting
- Fake Pallets
Pretty much my main reasons to vote yes.

Friday The 13th: The Game would like a word with you.

It's called sore losers & bad winners.
A combination of competition, asymmetry and anonimity, plus a bit of passion, easily allows for such personalities to flourish.

I'm physically disgusted.

That's your taste, nothing wrong about that.
Thanks for understanding.
Wasn't lying either, you did my bing boy justice there.

Didn't Monto do the tractor thing in a few videos?
Funny.
I knew I had it from a video, but I couldn't remember which as I barely watch DbD videos to begin with.
Then you mention him and I'm like "Heeeyyy..."
I was searching his channel for the video containing the unintended path, but couldn't find it, so maybe I'm wrong.

So killers are actually doing this? I mean how fair is it?
Well it doesn't seem like an intended path, so it's probably not fair.
We'll probably get an invisible wall there soon, or a new object blocking the path.
-
I often ran a build including Kindred & Open-Handed.
Idk, I just liked the idea of: BAM, INFORMATION!
Can't remember if it actually made them profit from it though...
-
Good, but too busy for me personally, I like it simple and clear.

You are looking at lag or lag switching my friend. But you Disconnecting yourself is not cool.
Oh no no, this is definitely possible.
OP is being vague about the Pallet/rock thing, but I've seen videos of the tractor trick from the Killer's PoV
-
Uhh I won't break their personal rules just to break them, but I'll simply have my fun within the game's official rules.
Whether their rules line up with those or not, it's whatever to me.
Unlike many here, I don't get a kick out of other people being salty.
-
Oh I'd love crossplay, and for one simple reason...
PC Nurse VS console Survivors
-
To not be affected by snares & fake pallets.
-
You mean ingame?
Cause i saw more than a few appreciation threads here.
-
Bill's voice actor is dead.
Not the one voicing his grunts here btw, his actual VA from L4D.
-
No Aura Perks working on Wraith while cloaked.
-
This is very ironic as Dark Devotion now works on Blink hits.
They must really not like Pig.
-
Lol, can't be too stressful on them.
Meanwhile, facing a good Nurse and trying your best can be stress galore.

+1

Honestly at this stage and pretty sure that's the reaction of most pig mains
@Volfawott Just to be safe i'll say this: I didn't mean anything by it.
The title simply reminded me of her. ๐

This is a bug that will be fixed with the update today. Historically, the stun out of cloak was reduced by Enduring, a bug just popped up in the 3.0.0 update.
@Peanits Oh no, wait, that's what i meant.
I remember now that i was talking about that, and that it was an IDEA to make it so, not that it was a bug.
Sorry for my confusion.

I like it, not sure about the getting trapped for 8-10 seconds, unless theres no notification that the totem got cleansed, but if there is I'd say 4-8 seconds would be a fair amount of time for the survivor to poop their pants then run to the hills or get stabbed.
@orangegoblin Sure, that's fine, that was me just wanting to make Monstrous Shrine more useful. ๐
I'll edit the numbers...

nope, pallet stuns negate a killers power. And wraiths power is cloaking, he is supposed to come out of cloak for reason shown above by Peanits.
Plague, Legion etc all lose their power when pallet stunned, makes sense for wraith too.
Was never officially stated, but okay.
-
Can they? Yes.
Will they? Hah.
-
As a Devour Hope lover, i dislike the idea of having all Hex Perks gain a counter because there's 1 or 2 rotten apples in the basket.
-
Wraith is actually supposed to stay cloaked when stunned by a Pallet at base.
Apparently that's been bugged ever since 1.8 and everyone accepted it as how it's supposed to be.
-
My guess is they're doing what Rockstar did with Red Dead Online.
- Jack up the prices above what they actually intent for them to be
- See if outrage comes
- If it doesn't, keep it
- If it does, lower it to the intended price, creating the illusion that it's an acceptable price
-
Not at all.

Intersting, but stomping the totems sounds like Haunted Grounds but you activate it.i would probably prefer totem spots to be better or you can choose in the beginning of the game where to activate the totems.
Better hiding spots results in more memorable locations.
More memorable locations results in experienced players learning their locations more easily.
Choosing in the beginning is a dead giveaway that you have Hex Perks, you'll either HAVE to run Hex-protection builds or accept it's gone once you commit to a chase.
But even then, it's not like we couldn't have one of those AND my idea, one won't break the other.
-
Despite the correct "double-edged sword" term being pretty accurate in terms of hiding spots, in sight when spawning, on Generators or just in open fields is an absolute no no.
And can the loud burning noise also piss off?
No candle of that size does that.
-
A-DING DING DING!
-
Many thanks.
-
No one asked you yet, so I guess I will...
Where was this found?
-
Wait, so you know that no one cares to counter B&C, but it's the Perk's fault?
That's not carrying the Killer, that's letting the Killer take advantage of your lack of care.
-
I would buff the BP numbers on No One Left Behind, that's for damn sure.
-
Here's an easy answer why weak Perks stay weak for way longer than strong Perks stay strong: Pressure.
When a strong Perk starts breaking the game, you'll hear constant drama about it, prompting them to at least look at it.
When a weak Perk is practically never chosen, you'll hear about it for a while when it comes out, then every now and then, you'll hear someone wanting to buff it, but that's it, there's no pressure for them to change it whatsoever.
Also buffing Perks is risky as you could put in work to buff it, but it's not well received by the community and thus still barely anyone will use it.
