Wraith
- Stands on the victim's back
- Starts hitting his Wailing Bell like usual
- Because he is touching the victim, the victim starts turning invisible too
- Neither the Wraith nor the victim fully cloak though, as the Survivor isn't build to withstand the Spirit Realm like the Wraith is thanks to the Entity, and is preventing them to go fully cloaked
- This interference is leaving burn marks (the visual effects you see on Wraith's body when he (un)cloaks) on the one causing the interference, which is the victim
- Eventually, the victim dies from the burns, and once they are, the Wraith stops ringing, staying uncloaked and the burnmarks on the victim disappear
This idea of forcing the Survivor into the Spirit Realm is an idea i've had for years now, thanks to the Legacy skins looking a LOT like Wraith's visual effects when (un)cloaking.

I mean, you can still kinda tunnel the last one who got hooked for the first time.

yeah fr, if you noticed for a month and it still is relatively like this, the forums havent been a ######### storm Hmm i wonder who wants to keep their sides reputation
It's why i didn't say something like "For sure mods will..." or "I bet...".
-
"like the wealth being able tongo invisible and have no terror radius at the same time? Whos bright idea was that?"
Oh boy, okay, here we go...
- Flashlights stun him if he's cloaked. (NOT invisible btw, he can't be unless he's standing still. (Meaning that, if you can't see him, he's either motionless, or you're not looking around for him well enough.))
- Keys with Blood Amber will counter his Power.
- Alert, Breakdown, Buckle Up, Dark Sense, Kindred, Object of Obsession, Premonition & Spine Chill are all Perks that can help you keep track of him regardless of if he's cloaked or not.
- Sprint Burst is also VERY good to deny him the Surprise Attack.
- He's one of the weakest Killers once he's in a loop.
Hope that helped.
-
Cause a list full with purple is boring.
-
Then why do i never camp or tunnel, but i always get genrushed? ๐ค
-
<- This one.
-
Low, 0% resolution.
-
I'd probably bring back the T H I C C black borders on equipment.
-
That would buff the "Swift Hunt" series & Coxcombed Clapper.
But since he's one of the lesser ones, i'd love to see it be tested anyway, though i'd prefer to see his base movement speed while cloaked get upped hard.
-
Hmm, the only thing on that list I sometimes do is Mori people, cause they don't cleanse my Devour Hope.
I don't EVER defend that Totem though, so it's their fault if they die anyway.
-
Well bots are reportable, so that means that if someone keeps botting, they'll get banned.
And so, every botter either stopped or got banned.
Maybe you'll see a daredevil every now and then, but they're mostly gone out of fear of being banned.
Btw, they did that cause Killers shouldn't just do nothing.

It's like NOED where the totem is selected when it activates. So when you get 1/2/3 tokens it just picks a random dull that available and puts the Hex on that totem.
So then in theory the only way to stop your Devour before it procs is to do all the totems like you would NOED.
Dayum, i'm not sure they'd ever allow that.

I made a killer perk change suggestion thread a little while ago, but I suggested that for Devour, remove the 2 token buff and instead the totem does not light up until 1/2/3 tokens are earned (similar to NOED where it would just pick a totem at random). This way at tier 3 you can be sure they don't get your Devour right away and you at least have a chance to earn tokens. And for lower tiers it just means there is a chance they will get it early, but not before you get at least 1 hook (at tier 1).
Btw, you make it sound like it secures that it stays up, while also saying the Totem simply isn't lit.
Do you mean...
- The Hex is already on a Totem, but it simply doesn't look like a Hex Totem?
Or...
- The Hex is only on a random Totem once you have enough Tokens?

Yeah, i like that idea too.
I just HATE this useless thing being on my fav Perk.
-
When a Survivor is rescued from a Hook at least 24 metres away, Devour Hope receives a Token.
- 2 Tokens: Gain a 3/4/5ย % Haste Status Effect.
- 3 Tokens: Survivors suffer from the Exposed Status Effect.
- 5 Tokens: Grants the ability to kill Survivors by your own hand.
The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

I just play whichever killer I want no matter which rank I'm at. If I'm not good enough with that killer at that rank, I'll just lose and go back to a rank I'd be more comfortable in.
Y'know, that almost sounds like you do that intentionally... ๐
-
Don't they only put in the PTB what they know they want in the game?
They probably don't know yet if they want that in the game, so there's no need to go to the trouble to test it.
So it's kinda silly to let us all test it out and then hear a no from the devs.

I'd love to be able to speed up the end game once you're the last survivor and the killer slugs you and you literally can't do anything. That takes up to 4 minutes. I consider that a higher priority over having to wait 1 minute as a killer when it gives me time to break pallets or set traps or chainsaw around. Or.. I go to the bathroom or look at my phone. It's a minute.
That'd be cool.
And both can certainly be done.

Wraith
Groot Face
Hallowed Blight Hole
Bleeding Skull

This time, i belong to the "everyone" group and say yes, they're really good.
It varies though:
What Killer are you using?
What Add-ons are you using?
What other Perk(s) are you using?
What are the Survivors using?

yeah.
So we have the big three (No mither, self care, solidarity)
And Left behind, MoM, OoO, Boil Over, Da Pebble, Deja Vu, as candidates for the 4th slot. Unless I'm overseeing another one.
Left Behind is probably the big winner if you were to ask me.
EGC just denied its whole concept, it doesn't need buffs, it needs a full-on rework.
-
You need to have a really good spin on the wheel of fortune there.
There are situations, but for starters, a lot of Killers already can't win this.

Pharmacy, you could use it to heal someone else.
MoM is a good idea though. That would mean going down 3 times just to avoid going down a 4th time.
Nice
MoM is indeed good since the Killer knows they run No Mither in this build, which is usually an incentive to not slug them and hook them (almost) immediately, maybe scare off some nearby Survivors first, then hook them.
Chances are low you're gonna use the hit-deny.

I saw the title and thought: "Okay, weird."
And intentionally avoided it as i didn't think it'd interest me.
After seeing it appear at the top numerous times though, i got too curious.
I'm pretty happy that it's just a joke post, i started thinking: "So they used to have some trouble knowing which day of the week it is, but now that they stabbed over 100 Killer shoulders and broke enough Pallets with Spirit Fury, they now suddenly are not able to forget which day it is."
Yeah, that's right, that's my brain.

I was actually talking about DaS's comment but I forgot to quote them.
I agree there's an inconsistency that should prolly be addressed cuz the parameters of it are a bit skewed.
Ahh, sorry about that then.
-
Not completely useless, but Terror Radius Perks on Wraith is just eww.

@Atrushan88 said:
I struggle as long as possible if the last guy is about to get hooked because every survivor in my opinion deserves those struggle points. If you want to make it where survivors get autokilled regardless, give them all struggle points for free regardless if someone is still alive or not. It's not fair to the last survivor ever imo.
I don't "want" anything.
It's JUST to point out an inconsistency.
-
@Rigbeta said:
I don't think it's exactly the survivor being a jerk just cuz they struggle. They get extra points for doing so and the killer has the option to go break pallets or perform their power instead of just sorta staring out in the beyond.
Who cares if you have to wait a little extra time? Whenever I play killer, I just go do what I can in the meantime, and when I'm survivor I'm usually just getting what I can out of the situation. It's not always a bitter agenda.
Like i said in the post, i don't care if it stays like this.
It's just to point out an inconsistency.
I also don't believe everyone does this to just be a dick.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
I mean is it really that big of a deal?
Go find hatch and close it to get the extra points.
"Believe me: I don't really care if they decide to..."
If they make it so it'll skip the phases whenever, cool.
If they don't, also cool.
Like stated in the post, this is JUST to point out an inconsistency.

@premiumRICE said:

Sorry but it is a bit confused and I missed it.
Ahh, okay.
To put it in a different way: A reason the developers could have for not skipping hook phases besides when you transition from one phase to the next, is that it would deny Survivors the chance to unhook themselves either by having luck or using Deliverance.
And to that i say that it's fine if they want to keep that, it goes along with them wanting to always give Survivors a chance until it's definitely over.
But it doesn't give phase 2 an excuse, which is nothing but struggling until you're sacrificed, no chance to unhook yourself.
I hope this made it more clear.
-
@premiumRICE said:
Remember that with phase 1 you could still try to unhook. Would be nice to be able to do so especially with luck offer or deliverance.
As mentioned before, it's in the last few sentences.
-
@PolarBear said:
Now that Deliverance is a perk though, it's a bit annoying that you can't unhook yourself if you're the last person alive. Wouldn't make much of a difference probably but you'd still get the 1500 extra points.
Yeah, i addressed that in the last few sentences, albeit i didn't specify Deliverance.

Hint if you don't want to go past purple ranks or want to stay at green and lower and its up to you if you want to do this.
Course survivors won't like this:) and it's to camp the hook so you can stay at the rank you want to:)
Well yeah, i knew, just saying how i feel about it. ๐

Still have to use @ if you want to alert without quotes, of course.

Yeah quite annoying. Many survivors are just trying to be a dick and want to waste your time after they got demolished.
I mean yeah, i can see that it can annoy people who just want to click "Create Lobby" as soon as possible.
I personally just dislike little inconsistensies like this, and i know nothing will be done since it's not an emergency.
Still felt the need to point it out. ๐

Wraith's new outfit.
-
Because they don't want feminists on Twitter telling them gender equality doesn't mean actual equality, and they'll get a vocal minority to protest the bikini outfit, which will actually work because listening to them is progressive.
Or at least, that's what I see more and more companies do...
-
His problems are being seen from long distances even though he's cloaked, and he's weak against the easy looping.
Not all loops are the same of course, but without the right Add-ons, he's a pure M1 Killer while in a loop, and that's really bad.

I'm asking host be removed from garbage internet. That's all I'm asking. Prove you can host or take it away. You're acting as if I'm requesting you be banned from playing for having bad internet. I'm not. I'm requesting only you suffer for your internet. It's a simple concept really ๐คทโโ๏ธ
My upload speed is 24 MB/s, and i live in a country which is in the top 10 of average internet speeds.
Heck, i didn't even look at the speed, i just went for the cheapest deal.
Now here's a fun fact: Never had complaints about my internet from Survivors.
To believe that fact or not is up to you.
Me suffer from my bad internet? Hardly, you're simply asking for something that WILL remove pretty 99% of the players.
-
When something can consistently break the devs' rule, which is to have 2 kills & 2 escapes on average.
-
@Damarus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/606485#Comment_606485
Well, I wasn't really thinking of a perk. I mean, if you want to be chased, you can always make it so the killer sees you as soon as he recovers, right? There are even people trying to get attention with flashlights, if you think about that.
Having to spent time to be seen after the recovery could very well mean you won't have time to make it to the next loop or whatever.
-
@Damarus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/606405#Comment_606405
Well, there needs to be a way for survivors to escape a chase stealthily, if they want to. Right now, either the killer lets them go or they get chased until they can finally be hooked. Of course, you can try to stop running. But a decently thinking player will know you won't be far.
I wouldn't mind that.
It should be something you choose to make happen as Survivor though, since not everyone wants to lose the Killer (some people run keep-busy builds), so it'd have to be a Perk.
-
@Damarus said:
There is no visual effect for stuns at all, you see all you have to. But then again, I didn't expect people not to have anything to say against it, after all, killer players are always whining.
He's talking about the removed VFX when a Killer got stunned.
-
Will you bet real-life money on it?
-
Btw, you're asking for this while the average upload speed in, for example, the U.S. is below 10.
You're also asking for this while some people only have one provider for their area, and not all providers provide such an upload rate.
I said thousands before, right?
Well, I change my mind: With you making that change, you'd outright kill the game.
-
The "Windstorm" series.
I use these mainly, they're great to make Wraith be more present, plus when you have 2 Windstorms on, which is 10% faster than just "Windstorm" - Blood btw, it can be worth it to recloak to catch up, though it depends on your surroundings.
The "Swift Hunt" series.
VERY generic kind of Add-on, but that doesn't mean it's bad. This is just good. Not bad, not great, just good. Can't ever go wrong with landing a hit sooner.
The "All Seeing" series.
"All Seeing" - Blood is nice to find those immersed Survivors who hide well somewhere around the Generator they're repairing.
"All Seeing" - Spirit is great to know for which Generator you should actually go and pairs really well with a "Windstorm", though i really believe its flaw is being an Ultra Rare, i think it should be a Very Rare at most.
The "Shadow Dance" series.
Mostly for meme builds but BOI can this build meme. Slap on Brutal Strength, Enduring, Fire Up & Spirit Fury and you'll BURN through everything!
Coxcombed Clapper.
You can actually get grabs without needing "The Ghost" - Soot, though it's obviously harder to do once they know you're Wraith: Once they, all of a sudden, hear your Terror Radius all loud 'n' #########, you bet they'll immediately let go of the Generator. Still, even if you can end just 2 chases by grabbing immediately, it was worth it to equip it.
