  • As much as I don't like vsing nurse. Limiting her to 1 blink is definitely not what she needs. Nurses need that second blink to adjust locations after mess ups or survivor jukes + her 2nd blink is shorter and she has limited time to do so, imagine being a nurse and being like blink fatigue blink fatigue blink fatigue to down someone. I think 3 was too many, 1 is not enough and 2 is perfect. Nerfing her in other ways is up for discussion but 1 blink... no no

  • That perk was absolutely demolished. They need to at least get rid of the exhaustion thing. Then I feel like it's a viable perk, cause with killer perks or addons causing exhaustion and survivor exhaustion perks (which is generally a staple in every survivor build to have one exhaustion perk) running iron will is just a waste of a perk slot.

  • The game and Haddonfield are definitely maps I dread when playing killer. Those insane house loops on Haddonfield are exceptionally annoying and having pallet after pallet after pallet dropped on the game gets tiring. They are definitely the top 2 maps that need balance changes.

They need to get rid of some of those windows and break some walls near some windows and add more pallets on Haddonfield, and on the game they need to delete some pallets, and add more windows/tiles upstairs. Map offerings I don't mind, maps in general just need to be balanced and then map offerings wouldn't be much of an issue.

I always enjoy going against chase killers that require skill on both sides. Blight, wesker, demo, billy, oni, bubba, huntress, etc.

Blight, billy, oni, and bubba are my top favorites.

Yeah pretty much this. The killers I personally hate to go against is Knight, Skull merchant, hag, cenobite, trickster, artist and nurse. My top few favourite killers to verse may be bubba, billy, demo and perhaps huntress?

But honestly at the end of the day play what you find most fun, killers are there to be used, it's bhvr's job to adjust where it needs to be adjusted not players to refrain from playing certain killers because they aren't fun to verse.

Also you don't need to spend those bloodpoints? I always have a use for bloodpoints, if I reach the limit I spend some then continue on gaming until it's max and then repeat.

PS. I completely missed that this was survivor only, I play both pretty equally but I don't think that affects my decision?

  • I think I've seen every survivor at least once except tapp this past week tbh. Poor tapp.

    Maybe no Jonah either? idk

  • I've been seeing it a lot, but it seems it's just people feeling like it's stricter, whether there is an actual change is yet to be confirmed.

  • Having to pay additional money to use online services on a device/console will always be insane to me... You've already payed for the console, and you're already paying for the wifi, but for the two to meet you have to pay more?? Glad I started gaming on PC and not console, companies be greedy. Hopefully DBD can someday get cross progression for yall 🙏

This would be good, I'd also like more normal hairstyles in general, for all ethnicities too. So many survivors have heaps of dyed/alt culture hair/outfits, and it'd be nice to have some more non-dyed, regular person/traditional hairstyles and/or clothes for all the races.

One of the things I like about Claudette so much is she just seems like a regular, well adjusted member of scociety. It would be nice if some of the other survivors/ethnicities could grow up a little too.

Would love some more natural hair! Love the fun colours but I think I do tend to pick natural hair more, rather than something colourful.

  • @Annso_x said:

We absolutely need more hair variety for everyone.

The male survivors' hair selection is ridiculous, 90% of the time their hair don't even change at all, they just add glasses, a hat / cap or a beard. Dwight has 50 times the same haircut with different colored glasses. They don't even change the hair color while female survivors have every shade from neon green to whatever you can dream of.

(sorry if I'm deviating from the topic a bit, but the male survivors' cosmetics are all boring af and it needs to be said lol)

Absolutely true! I think I do tend to favour female survivors because of the fact their cosmetics have much more of a variety than male survivors.

  • @BlueRose said:

I think just UW will be nerfed. I'm sure it has a huge pick rate and survivors can't stop talking about it. I dont think STBL will be touched tho. The real question is what perk will survivors complain about after UW is nerfed? You know they attack the next perk that is too powerful on the s tier killers but ok on the other killers. It's an endless cycle...

This is both sides. MFT is also complained about and getting nerfed

  • It depends on the map and the killer tbh. Like Midwhich I'd say is more killer sided, especially for quick traversal killers. Where as RPD might be more survivor sided? And Hawkins I feel like is a middle ground, many nice spots to get away from the killer but most pallets are very weak and can easily be ran around or mindgamed.

  • Cenobite, knight and nurse I would say is my worst. I just don't know how to survive chases with them ( I know a little of nurse but against a good nurse I'm hopeless, and cenobite I can sometimes dodge the power)

  • @VomitMommy said:

Just use those perks instead if you want them?

It's my most used build for soloQ: Lithe/WoO/Bond/We'll make it.

Those perks are really good and are definetly not something to ever be basekit for anyone.

I can get behind survivor aura kindred, but that's about it.

    @Foempticol said:

I'd rather have basekit Kindred without the killer aura

    Absolutely this!

  • I don't know about this. Kindred without killer aura I think should be basekit, but bond and windows... I think would be too helpful basekit and should stay as perks.

  • Has it been mentioned anywhere? Or are we all kinda in the dark about it?

  • I would day 5 : 0 : 5

Nobody I know plays the game, there have been a couple that have played before but they have like 2 hours in the game and that being last played yearsss ago.

  • Yeah, I thought my post didn't get any interaction but it did indeed. It's been like this for at least a few days or longer, as I've only been on here again the last few days.

  • Idk, I like to play both sides, if I get sick of one I can go to the other. There are frustrations about each side, but such is life with an asymmetrical multiplayer.

Her eyebrows are so danm bad right now for some reason, she could have some upgrades to her face now

Absolutely! Her eyebrows are definitely bad and have a weird shape probably due to her facial animation? idk, either way she needs desperate help!

True. Some maps have really, really, really bad locker placements and it is so sad that out six years anniversary killer suffers so hard. To be fair the devs try to give maps more lockers like coldwind farmhave now more lockers but overall many maps have no good lockers. In addition, these maps not only need more lockers but also good locker placements. This feels sometimes so painful when you have a killer with mobility but you cannot use this mobility to get asap to the other side of the map. I really hope they will work on this to improve maps with more lockers. This would also help Trickster and Huntress but also survivors.

One first and relative easy buff could be to use the TV (from Onryo) and Controlstation (from Xenomorph) placements and on these placeses there will be spawn lockers when you play Dredge. This would make sure that he can teleport to generators. They could spawn a little bit more far away from lockers for a better reaction time on survivors.

However, Dredge needs way more love. Haddie's Calender should be basekit, he is still way too loud (what's the point of a stealth killer which survivors can hear 20meter away from them??) ect. But this is different story.

That's definitely an interesting idea! I'd take anything to help out, whether it's an interactable locker for some killers or certain killers spawn more lockers or a map locker pass. They definitely need something for poor dredge especially.

  • @LuckyJewel said:

In my opinion, i see that lary's memorial is the worst map for dreage, lockers are not to much + there's no good place to teleport between generator nearby. Its the most unbalanced map for dreage :(

Yeah, lary's is definitely tough with bad locker placement ad you get further from the centre of the map. Swamp, coldwind, upstairs of the game are especially bad ones as well in my experience.

  • @HugTechLover said:

Non-controversial is boring. People love conflict.

    😭

  • @Coffeecrashing said:

Locker passes should only happen if the killer is specifically Dredge, Huntress, or Trickster.

We don’t need to buff survivors against every other killer in the game, by forcing all killers to deal with more reliable lockers.

Yeah I just care more about it for killers, not so much survivors, they're fine.

  • @Seraphor said:

The worst offenders I find are Swamp, Coldwind, and then for some reason Lerys can spawn with one end of the map entirely devoid of lockers. Hawkins may be in a similar boat.

    Yeah it is a pain.

  • I'd love to see characters from scream or a supermassive game. Also another stranger things chapter, I'm not too fussed about which characters, I'd just love to see more of the cast/more content.

  • @pigslittlepet said:

No more free perks. This is getting ridiculous. You want base kit deliverance while we're at it?

Kindred and deliverance are wildly different perks... interesting comparison lol... But basekit kindred would just help soloq see if each other if someone's on hook so they know if someone is already going for a save. Basekit Deliverance would change the whole dynamic of the game as no one would need to save people off hook on their first hook... like very different, info for teammates, survivors being handed the win... not very comparable. Acting as if there has been many perks turned basekit for survivors (which has only been borrowed time) but go off.

  • I think every map should have a least 1 god pallet (aka shack for most maps) there should be safe pallets and strong pallets. Once a pallet is gone it's gone forever and survivors need these resources to survive so ofc there needs to be some really strong ones while also making weak ones that killers have an opportunity to bloodlust or mindgame at.

  • I like using a crosshair. It's not cheating nor considered cheating in the game. Just helps to see the centre of the screen with anything aiming, most games have a crosshair built in for stuff like that, deathslinger basically has one built in as it zooms in and centres your weapon when using it, unlike huntress or trickster.

Ofc if you care about using huntress without a cross hair then there's no use in using the cross hair as you'll kinda depend on it. I only play on pc and don't care about relying on crosshair for her.

In the rules of dbd vanilla, there is no crosshair for huntress. Therefore, it's cheating.

If this is about tournaments then that makes sense but general gameplay it isn't cheating lol, I'm pretty sure devs have confirmed this and you will not be banned for using a crosshair lolll, I think even EAC has whitelisted some crosshairs or isn't listed as a prohibited program.

  • Your grade resets every month regardless of when you have or haven't logged in. If you haven't played that whole month you wouldn't have gotten a higher grade to get any rewards. And grades differ from side to side, so you can be iri 1 on killer and get half a million bloodpoints as a reward and not have touched survivor, therefore getting 0 rewards from your survivor grade.

But correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but that's my understanding

This back and forth is gold 😂 Like the whole thread is you two lmao

How can she have 'insane monitor'? Do you keep running into the drone beams?

    @VomitMommy said:

You know you can crouch to ignore her drones, right? You should never get injured unless you are in chase.

When you get injured in chase, you get a speedboost, so don't really get an issue. It doesn't work like Plague.

She is way more manageable for survivors after her rework, while not being completely useless. I see that as an absolute win.

She can still place drones directly next to gens, and if you disable drones i'm sure she knows like before. She still annoying to go against like... cenobite, hag and knight. But I haven't read up on her patch notes but she still seems annoying to go against, the 1 hour match thing is obviously better tho

Just my opinion, dont come for me tho lol. But thats my thoughts after facing her a few times since.

The whole point of the cage is that it ignores all safeties for survivor associated with the hook lmao

No Deliverance, no endurance, no 4%ing, nothing.

Who cares, literally 1 thing enabled with everything else disabled.... Idk why you care so much, but we obviously completely disagree and are not changing minds here.

  • @Nicnac said:

All mechanics go. No carrying to hook, no chance for a save, no chance to get off that cage on your own, no hook related perks on either end, no endurance. To keep one but not the rest seems weird.

The hook was once without basekit endurance, it should have been added to both. It's a necessity in soloq and against crazy tunneling killers. I don't see the issue in it if killers again just don't instantly tunnel off hook/cage, plus if the cage if far it won't affect you, if it's close go for the unhooker. Simples

  • @Zaydin said:

No it shouldn't. The whole point of the Cage of Atonement is that Hook related perks don't work on it whether it's a survivor perk or a killer perk.

Well endurance isn't a perk, it's a basekit thing to help when being tunnelled or to prevent it. I'm not asking for perks to work, it just need that basekit mechanic.

  • @Nicnac said:

Executioner's whole shtick is throwing a middle-finger to all hook-related mechanics. No unhook perks like OTR, DS, BT and no hook perks like Pop, any scourge hook, Furtive, No Way Out, DMS etc.

Bypassing the hook mechanics is half of his power- he is rewarded for giving you Torment by the cage having unique mechanics.

Well endurance isn't a perk, it's a basekit thing to help when being tunnelled or to prevent it. I'm not asking for perks to work, it just need that basekit mechanic.

  • Would love re4r outfits. Like Leon's, Ada's and Luis + Ashley legendaries.

So, I guess you'll have to rework Torment entirely, because that's the entire point of Torment and the entire payoff to bothering to Tormenting Survivors.

Unless you're going to genuinely argue that "B-b-but saving 5 seconds is totally worth wasting 80 seconds Tormenting someone!!!!!", like how most people desperately move when trying to defend gutting entire status effects they don't understand the balance of.

I love how OP outs themselves as biased with that "hook perks don't have to work" (LOL) comment yet you completely agree. Really speaks volumes on your... credibility.

What are you talking about lmao. Obviously the cage needs to have unique properties from the hook otherwise whats the point in it. So I'm saying survivor hook perks should continue not to work but make endurance work. What are you even saying lol

  • @RaSavage42 said:

If you want Cages to act like Hooks then all of the Killer's Hook perks should work just as much as Survivor getting there's to work

Cages already spawn far away from PH and he can't see the Cages so how does the Tunneling happen

You realise as soon as someone is taken out of the cage they get a loud noise notification and can find them very easily. Please make sure you know the topic before commenting on the topic. Thanks

ps. cage's really dont spawn that far away tbh.

  • @Caiman said:

The loud noise notification for taking someone out of a cage should be removed.

Yes if not adding endurance this would be the next best thing.

  • Would love some more Ada fits. But ofc want other characters to have the spotlight who haven't had a skin in a long while.

  • Cocky survivors are the worst. Not much you can do about it tho.

  • With the way bubba was played for so long. I'm glad to see him fall off, clear to see a lot of people had 0 loyalty to him and just liked to be lazy while playing.

  • Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I'd prefer they only make contracts with licences that will allow continued sale of content using that licence so long as the game exists/is still live. I'm not really here for the limited time 1 year, 3 years and so on licences. Especially with cross progression not existing across platforms still, if people switch they cannot use that content. And I feel like it alienates new players, missing out on these licenced killers, survivors and cosmetics that they see everyone else being able to use. It also creates fomo, with people urgently spending money that they shouldn't be spending or just don't have. Idk, just not for me, I'd rather them only go for licences that aren't limited.

The other requires way more. Being injured isnt a reson to get a strong effect like haste. At the moment when I play survivor I never let anyone heal me, because I know ones I got injured I am uncatchable.

3% boost during the game (before endgame and hope) and ignoring it's use with other haste perks, you aren't uncatchable. Even with these perks being used together you aren't uncatchable, bloodlust exists and the killer will be fast enough to catch you. I do agree that maybe it shouldn't stack with other haste perks, with 3% by itself while injured I personally think is absolutely fine and does not need to be nerfed. Strong perks exist and this is a strong perk, but not busted. Hate to see perks that are strong but not busted get nerfed because too many people complain about it. I thought we wanted a meta shift? Can we not get new strong perks for both sides without people complaining? I hope bhvr does not listen to this loud minority of players blasting this perk and do not nerf the main aspect of the perk, being 3% haste while injured. They could remove the endurance, the could remove it being able to stack with other haste perks, idrc.
