  • MfT is starting to get on my nerves so much now. At first, I was in the camp that it's not that big of a deal perk but now every match I have has 2 or more of this perk and I'm starting to feel it more and more on M1 killers. Chases are taking longer, hits that I would get don't happen anymore, and loops are getting easier to chain together. It's all starting to add up to an issue imo. You might as well have DH for a distance back bc that's how MfT feels to me. For exp as Freddy, I was chasing the survivor with MfT around a TL tile and I placed my snare at the T long wall. I chase the survivor into, and around the counter, and usually, I can get a hit before they get to the window thanks to the slow but this time nope, I was inches from them before they vaulted. Then don't get me started about the buildings in Haddonfield, chases around those buildings were already a pain before MfT but now...I have to do 3 to 4 laps around a building just to get a hit...

The main problem I have with MtF is it makes already safe and easy maps even more safe and easy to loop a 115 or 110 killer who doesn't have movement power. I'm starting to that it's going to come to the point that every killer going to have to run a perk or addon just to exhaust a survivor so they cant use MtF.

Changes to her 3-gen potential, her current only viable playstyle is 3-genning.

That means she's fundamentally getting changed, aka rework.

Man guess I'm just out of luck with my chasing build in which I get 3 to 4k very often without having to rely on 3 genning....

Also again they never said they making changes to her 3-gen potential. They developing a system that going to affect all killers and 3 genning in general since they see that as a game issue not just a SM issue. By your logic that would mean all the killers are getting reworked since all their 3-gen potential is being changed...

  • @Sharby said:

Its funny seeing people defend SM as fine when the devs already confirmed she's getting a rework.

SM isn't getting a rework, the devs never said rework in their AMA. Their exact wording was "She is getting an update." That does not mean a rework. In that same answer, the dev thinks she in her current state is in fact fun " We feel the killer is fun and interesting in general"

They know 3 genning on her is a problem but their solution to that isn't a rework for sm but a new system solution to help with 3 genning in general. "We are currently working on a systematic solution to deal with 3-gen games, which will ALSO help with playing against the Skull Merchant"

  • I played him today. I wanted to see what the buffs did to him and I have to say my games felt so much better. The difference between today's games from last week games was night and day. I don't know something finally clicked with me or it was the buffs but he generally felt much better to play.

  • You kinda are tho in a way. Are you asking the devs to killswitch a killer who has nothing wrong with her and functioning as she was designed just bc you don't like playing against her. In turn, you are being very selfish toward those who do enjoy playing her and have fun playing her. Your request and this whole thread are just a middle finger to those players and for what so you don't have to go up against an avg of 2 SM a day during the anniversary? Either way, I think you being very silly making this thread and it does nothing constructive at all. Also think he should be removed by a mod but hey what I know. Anywho, I hope you have a great day.

  • I think just because of this thread I'll only play SM for the anniversary :3

So are you telling me you can’t guarantee a 2k on pretty much any map with any killer by camping and tunnelling? If not you must be must be a really new player or just terrible at the game

I don't bc I don't play like that. I don't camp or tunnel that often. The only times I tunnel is when someone uses thier base kit BT or OtR as a tool to deny me from going after the unhooker and the only time I camp is when either there just two survivors are left and I have one on the hook or it's the endgame collapse. I don't know about you but I have over 1000 hours in this game most of it on killer. I understand most the killers in the game and know where they are weak and strong. I can also tell you that camping and tunneling doesn't always guarantee you a tie or 3k. Go watch Otz if you want evidence of that because there have been matches where he camps or tunnels and it leads to him losing. It's not the end all be all as so many people make it to be.

I'll also add this, I have seen matches where a killer camps and only get one kill. In fact I was in one not long ago against a bubba who face camp me. He was destroyed by reassure and I was the solo in that match. I don't know if my teammates was a duo or a trio but I can tell you I may had died but those other three escape just because the bubba decided to camp me and tunnel me out of the game.

  • I just wished he was easier to learn and understand. Right now I'm so frustrated with him that I just have no motivation to even play the game right now. I spent a whole week playing him and got no where with him. I'm same today as I was last week when I got him. It's really dishearten because I wanted to be good at him, I wanted to enjoy him but I just don't. I had more fun playing Billy (who I hate with a passion to play as) than Hux. If I could ask for a refund I honestly would bc right now I just don't know if I ever want to try anymore with him. Sucks man....

  • Agree with you. I think MFT is only shown us how bad maps are when chaining windows and pallets. Its making already bad thing worst. So already survivor-side map like GoJ is just made worse for killers bc ppl running MfT. Just more reason in my that the devs need to rework maps to be more balance for both sides.

Ok, that makes sense continue to play a killer that makes you rage quit to get a six hour penalty.

I don't want kind of attention seeking your looking for but, you brought that upon yourself.

Think about it for a second before you rage at me

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/X7HD84I5JVTX/hollowgrizzledjavalina-max-1mb.gif

you could of just played another killer and avoided the penalty altogether. 😂

I'm not going to rage at anyone. I just continue to play him bc I thought I could learn something but in every single match the same things was happening and I just got mad is all. Btw all those DC didn't happen back to back, they happen over the course of few days. I just DC two times today also one of theses DC over last few days was a crash bc my Internet went out.

My point is he has to be the most frustrating killer I have ever played in DBD. Trapper and Billy honestly more fun to play.

  • I wish it was today. I just honestly got a 6hour DC penalty bc I rage quit so many times today on this killer. I absolutely love playing a killer that has no power whatsoever. So much fun :-/ In all seriousness trapper is funnier to play right now. At least I can get more than two hooks with him.

There is so little killer sided maps and "broken killers" don't care about bloodlust in slightest, I can easily throw away the bloodlust and just play nurse no problem.

At least you should understand the things you hate, I think.

Based on the last reply I just got from this guy I can tell he really doesn't understand anything about the game. Most likely just a troll or a really new player who just echoing what survivor mains usually say since his account is very new lol XD

Then we shouldn’t get rid of mft until this happens too since there’s broken killers in the game and killer sided maps

Oh plz tell me the number of killer-sided maps vs survivor-sided maps in this game, I'll wait. Also if you mean Blight and Nurse as the broken killers I have a new flash for you. MFT isn't going to remotely help you against those killers.

All great points. But sadly it's no use trying to argue in favor of SM. The groupthink of the DBD community has already declared her boring and only good at holding a 3 gen and the Singularity is an A tier killer.

You are right and I will be honest I would even stop trying to talk to Pulsur. He is such a closed-minded person and you never going to get anywhere with him on a topic you two disagree with. My mom and dad have a phrase for people like him "Would argue with a STOP sign." Like I get ppl don't like SM but there a lot who do so how about just go away and having your own little "we hate SM club house" I know I enjoy her a lot more than Singlarity right now bc I can play and get result with her and you know to use her power meanwhile I'm not allowed to use Sing's power since there an emp in every survivor's hands at all times....

PS Im just happy I can't see his messages anymore since I blocked him on here. He never says anything interesting anyway.

  • I completed agree with you. I know when I started playing Wesker it was pretty clear what I should be doing on him and his power wasn't super complicated to use or learn. His power also doesn't heavily punishes you for missing. Meanwhile I'm having the exact opposite experience with the new killer. I have no clue what I should be doing with his power, there to much going on and it leads me super stressed out and I feel his power punishes you if you use it wrong or over use it. Overall I really wish we had more Wesker style of killers.

  • I like to add something after I finish my games as singularity today. At least with SM I have some idea of what I'm supposed to be doing on her. Drop few drones on gens(doesn't mean I'm protect a 3gen I just dropping them on gens at the beginning of the match) and save my last drone for loops since I run the two purples where one slows a survivor down when entering a drones area and the other makes me break things faster when in the area.

As the singularity I still don't know what I'm supposed to be doing with his cameras. You can't use them near gens bc of the emps and you can use them in chase but the time it takes to shoot, pod a survivor, and teleport to them I could just hit them normally. That not even counting the fact if they have a emp they just erased what I just did and I have to do it again. Seriously I can't down anyone fast as this killer. By the time I get one down I lose one to two gens. Also I feel like I should play him like plague also since his infection can spread to others but even that feels like a waste of time since they can just emp them off so easily.

At the end of the day at least SM has a clear cut power that you can easily build on and get better without feeling like you completely suck unlike Hux where I feel so terrible after I match I lost it and I don't know what I done wrong. It's day 6 and I feel no more closer to understanding this killer.

3% haste shouldn't come that easily? What about a free 5% for getting repeatedly outplayed at a LT wall?

Bloodlust is in the game back in the day there were loops that never ended. Even now I think bloodlust is needed bc of the map design is always heavily sided toward survivors. There so many pallets in some maps that the only way a killer can do anything is break them and hope the time it cost to break all those pallets don't lead to them losing. Maps are being made way to safe and are completely unbalanced. Name me one map since midwich that has been killer sided? Also to add you lose Bloodlust in so many ways(hitting a survivor, losing chase, and breaking a pallet or wall) How do you lose MfT? Oh either use an ex perk or get healed...nothing a killer can do to make you lose it.

I feel this 100%. Like of course your first few games you aren't gonna do great because you're learning the killer. But after several days of playing the killer exclusively and still feeling like you can't get consistently fun matches, you have to wonder if the design has some flaws.

Yeah like with all the other killers I didn't start out great at all. The first few days of each new killer I would have a mix of games where I lose or win and by the weekend I started getting more consistent with them. One killer I remember fully is Artist. I sucked so badly as Artist and didn't make much progress with her for the first 2 days but after a while started learning tricks and things I could do to get hits with her birds and now I have a full grasp on her power as well as other killers in the game. Then you have our new boi who still now being day 6 of playing I have not gotten any better with him. Every match feels the same and I get nowhere with him at all. Having a killer with a high-skill ceiling is a great thing bc it allows a lot of room for improvement but having a killer who also has a high-skill floor isn't great. No one wants to work super hard to just get 1/2 way decent at a killer. Eventually after losing a couple of days and feeling like they haven't improved at all ppl are going to just give up and play an easier killer. There is a reason why Billy has such a low play rate compared to other killers...

I don't understand why people find SM boring to play when she's pretty much like most other M1s. Do you find Freddy or other M1 killers boring as well? If so, then that's fair. If not, why? What about SM makes her so boring compared to other M1s? Genuinely curious.

They found her boring bc they refuse to her like a normal m1 killer. In a lot of people minds the only way to play her is to defend a 3 gen when that not remotely true. I personally play a chase builds with her and have a torn of fun doing so. It just ppl are lazy and don't want to try new things when it proven that it's one way can get them wins even if it's boring.

  • @Perpendicular said:

We gonna get rid of bloodlust too?

We can get rid of bloodlust as soon as every map including the new one that have yet to be released are fully balanced and gives neither side a advantage. So it'll probably never happen :P

This isn't going to change anything at all. I most likely have to wait another full month to see actual decent changes to singularity *sigh*

I'm with you it's hard to tell how these nerfs are going to impact him overall. It easily can be not enough to make him feel better to play.

  • @Pulsar said:

    Yeah, no.

Singularity is a much better Killer than DM.

Glad you think so. I rather play a killer if a low-skill floor than a killer who is so hard and stressful that I feel completely defended after every match. That is how Singularity makes me feel. I don't even make losing as long as I'm having fun but it isn't fun having to replace pods and re-infect everyone every few secs.

  • I will say after playing since Tuesday I also find SM more fun than Singularity. At least I can get 3ks with chase SM more often even doing the first-week release than Singularity. This week all matches have been 4 to 3 escapes and others gotten 3 to 4ks once in a while. In fact, I can count how many 3+ks, on one hand, this week as Singularity. I am kinda depressed about this fact bc I wanted to enjoy this new killer so much since I love his design.

  • I honestly don't know myself. Im issues with the emps are that they are way too strong with little to no risk in using or time investment. This leads to a time when you always playing catch-up with your pods since they always have an emp in hand. The killer imo is way too stressful to play right now with little to no payoff. I can play other killers and get way more value from their powers. I have been playing him since Tuesday and games have been pretty much the same. Never have more than one survivor podded, always fighting off emps, losing gens while trying to chase and pod the person Im chasing, the part where they spread the pods to each other never happens, and using the camera only confuses me as I enter them and lose track of the survivor Im trying to pod.

I'm hoping the nerfs to emp helps with a lot of these problems I'm having with him but Im scared it won't and he continues to feel the same. I want to get better at him but this is the first killer I can remember from where I'm not learning anything from my losses. Killers I suck at(nurse and blight) I can at least say I know and learn from what I did wrong but with this new killer I'm left feeling lost on. Did I lose bc I suck at him? Did I lose bc of the emps? These are questions I never really can find the answers to. I don't know I just hate playing as him right now and that sucks bc I like his design so much.

  • Man that awesome! To bad there rarely more than one survivor who is infected at a time thanks to emps being everywhere.

  • @malloymk said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3456806#Comment_3456806

Yeah, but old dead hard and sprint burst are literally the only two perks that I can think of where I'd say "geez another sprint burst" or "geez another dead hard".

I'd never say "oh c'mon they have any means necessary too" "another we'll make it, c'mon!"

That because those perks don't have a huge impact on the game at all. Any perk that gives the survivor a advantage in chase has to be balanced carefully since chasing is one of the most major components in the game. Same could be said about map design since if you make a map to safe it only adds to the problem. Gen perks both progression and regression are the same way since gen speeds is the other major part of the game. When you start making perks that affects speed of a character it overall has a huge effort in chase. Even a 3% haste means you can get to a pallet or window sooner than you would had before and that in turn makes the killer have to spend more time chasing you. If these types of perks become meta and are really strong it means now you most likely have to deal with 4 of them every match. 4 survivors who are 3% faster could mean chases lasting much much longer allowing gens being done undisturbed meaning really shorter games where the killer is powerless. If fact now I mention this all meta survivors perks don't affect all killers same either. MFT for example won't have any effect on nurse or blight since they so over power in movement that even a 3% boost isn't going to save you really but meanwhile it could have a huge effect on a trapper or other m1 killer since they greatly depend on the fact they slightly faster than a survivor to get downs. My point is there are things in this game that needs to be balance very carefully because of you make a chase perk way to strong or a regression perk way strong it mess up the whole game.

  • Not going to disagree with you that survivors sometimes get the short end of the stick when it comes to perks but here the major thing you and many others need to remember about survivor perks vs killer perks. In a single match survivors only has to go against one type of perk(one pain res(4 uses), one Deadlock, and ect) but a killer has to worry about going against 4 of the same perk sometimes. DH for example was horrible to go against bc the chances of going against 3+ DHs was a pain. If it was only one DH on one survivor then DH wouldn't be that big of a issue. MFT is kinda like this. One MFT probably wouldn't be that big of a issue but if becomes meta a killer going to have to worry about 4 of them every single match. This is why I think survivors perks do need to be heavy regulated bc if a single perk becomes to op that powerful perk becomes 4 powerful perks each match.

  • I'm playing him but I have to say my feelings about him are so mixed. I enjoy playing him but it's so stressful playing him. It feels like he has this problem where if you get behind the survivors just snowball to the point where you can't do anything to come back. Like the emps are the driving force to this feeling I think. You have to infect them as fast as they get emps and sometimes that just isn't possible. I have yet gotten more than 2 kills as him. Most of my matches end with no to 2 kills. I don't mind a killer having a high skill ceiling but he has a high skill floor also and that leads to what you seeing, no many people are going to play him do to his high skill entry level.

  • Personally, I'm fine with MFT by itself. I don't think is all that op and could play around it as a killer. That said I do think it's a problem when it's compared with the other haste perks. Even just comparing it with Hope is an issue imo since Hope was already really strong and can be so annoying to the point I usually just let the Hope person leave for free bc I just don't feel like chasing them. I just think haste needs a max cap so ppl can just stack the perks together to be as fast or faster as killers. MFT doesn't been a nerf tho and I hope that is not the path they take.

  • @FreakPrince said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3454805#Comment_3454805

Then the max speed should be capped or Hope be reverted to 2 minutes again.

I completely agree. MFT by itself is a fine perk imo and shouldn't be nerfed. The only thing I say is maybe the perk really doesn't need the whole endurance thing on top of the 3% haste. It only becomes a problem when stacked with other perks and the thing is in a game like dbd the speed of a character means is a whole lot! When you start messing with haste and stuff you could easily end up with something that is so OP that it can shut down the other side completely. As I said MFT is fine it just shouldn't stack with other haste perks or haste itself needs some kinda cap so survivors don't end up being as fast as a killer for long periods of time.

  • I don't see how you think Hope and MFT stacking is ok just bc Hope is an end-game perk. If someone is running this combo and you playing a non-blight or nurse killer you might as well just let them go and if everyone is running it then you most likely never going to kill anyone. I don't know about you but a lot of my 2 to 3k games come down to endgame a lot of times. If any of those times ppl were running Hope and MFT then I would mostly never get kills in the end game. You basically be forced to run No Way Out just to give yourself the extra time to chase someone down and down them. If this combo leads to free escapes (which it will) then it would be no better than the old DS or the PTB version of OtR when it was buffed/reworked. Hope by itself was already annoying as hell to deal with as a killer but now we have to worry about MFT on top of it. I just think haste perks shouldn't stack at all or have a cap.

I love Hux’s design and lore, but his gameplay and power feel very clunky and ineffective. It’s either just not for me, or it’s a bad power, flat out.

With every new Killer that comes out, I give them a chance. I play them and stick at them and gradually see results and new strategies with them. I’m struggling with him. I’m not getting any better whatsoever between matches and he feels no smoother to play the more I use him. The only Kills I’ve gotten have been from poor survivor gameplay and people just giving up for no reason.

I’m not having fun with him as he is and it’s a real shame. I enjoyed Skull Merchant more than him, and that says a lot.

I'm feeling the same way as you right now. Two nights as him now and still haven't gotten better at him. In fact I'm not even learning anything bc I don't know what the hell I'm doing wrong half the time. At least with knight and skull merchant I was able to learn from my mistakes and get better but with the singularity I feel I'm hitting a wall before I even got started on him.

Whilst I understand what you are meaning, when decisions like this are made, all interactions are taken into consideration. Our team of designers specifically want Special Items to be exempt from a perk working on them so in the same vein as Sadako tapes do not work with Franklins - it's not to do with the charge loss but to do with the item itself.

Don't forget when Franklins was introduced to the game, special items weren't even in the game as the killers didn't have anything, it's only more recently where killers have had special items and having a perk work on those items where survivors have to interact with that item - such as Pinheads box isn't great. So completely separate to charge loss.

Franklins still has a most definite place in the game and is still as useful as it ever was.

I highly disagree with how useful Franklins is. Most of the time survivors will just drop their items when they see Franklins so you cant delete the charges on the item. I never once had a match where I saw Franklins help against medkits or toolboxes.

  • I wouldn't say the chapter and killer is bad. Just the new killer is really hard to play as and can be frustrating especially if the survivors are decent at the emps and you not playing great. In most of my matches last night they ended the same way, emp use snowballed to a point where I couldn't even use my power. The only 4k I got was my adept run and wasn't even anything I really did to get the 4k, it was most likely due to the fact the survivors made big mistakes. The rest of my matches were 3 to 4 escapes. The worst part is I have no clue what I need to do to get better as he and I am not new to dbd either(I have over 1000 hrs).

  • @Digfish said:

From what I've seen, he's a killer that can be very very good with practice. Everyone here seems mad they aren't getting 4ks with him in their first few games

I'm not mad I'm not getting 4ks and I understand he a hard killer but my issue is I'm not learning anything from my losses at all. All I know is survivors are able to get rid of the infection as fast as I can infect them while pumping out gens at a steady pace plus switching to the cameras is so disorienting that I can't track anyone with them or know what direction I'm looking at half the time. I honestly have no clue how I could get better at him. I never really had this issue with Wesker, blight, oni or other killers as I know admittedly when I make a mistake and know how to fix that mistake

  • I played him for couple of matches but had to get off bc I'm just finding him really frustrating to play. Alot of times I feel I don't have a power bc of the emps, switching to the pods disorientated me so much to the point I have no clue what direction I'm sharing at and tracking survivors with them are a pain. Not saying he bad but he is really hard to play and I have a feeling you honestly won't see much of him due to the fact alone.

  • To those who said that toolboxes shouldn't be looked at bc you won't go against teams like in that video every lobby. By your logic then nurse and blight shouldn't be nerfed either since they have some of the lowest pick rates among all the killers across all mmr levels. Who cares nurse and blight are extremely strong and barely beatable? So little ppl play them on average and you won't see them in every lobby.

Yes you right you not going to see setups like that in the video but the potential is there and if something is op/broken it needs to be addressed even if you not going to see it all that often.

I sometimes wish that killers had a "suicide on hook" option, though. As a killer you are forced to see a match to its conclusion, no matter how much of a lost case a match is and how much the survivors are hellbend on making you suffer.

You can face a wall and go AFK, but some malicious ones will just 99 the last gen in that situation and try to force a reaction out of you, instead of just finishing asap.

I agree with you. I wish there was a way to forfeit a match as the killer. I have so many matches where I know I'm going to lose and there is no way I'm going to kill someone but Im forced to wait out an unwinnable match till all the gens are done. I had this idea a while back for a way they could let the killer leave a match and take an L. It works kinda like how old hatched worked where I killer size door opens in the basement when 3 gen has competed. Only the killer can use the door and if they do they take L and all the surviving survivors escape the match alive. This way the killer doesn't have to suffer/waste time in a match they know they going to lose and can just move on to the next.

When Im losing as killer I just want to move on to the next match as fast as possible. I dont want to continue to chase survivors who are clearly better than me and I do not want to have to wait for the whole match just to see survivors tea bag me at the gates and say "gg ez" I know someone said they empathize with Survivors but I know I don't. For every nice survivor I have seen, I have seen 10 toxic ones. Sorry, I will never feel sorry for survivors.

  • After playing other games I just feel like a quick play and a comp play queues wouldn't fix anything. For example I played OW2 for a while and only played QP. In all those QP matches almost every one of them felt sweaty and also felt completely one sided. For a week I went on a huge losing streak in OW2 where every match was completely one sided and a lot of those games it was Grand Master level of players going against sliver or lower players. I quit OW2 bc of these and I honestly think DBD would have the same issues. High comp players using QP to get one sided and easy matches.

They could of still done it but make it if a survivor is mid unhook/uncage are immune to torment or have something like BT but a immunity to gaining torment after said unhook/uncage. Torment is easy to avoid as survivor as long as they pay attention

Completely agree but that type of change may take longer than the allotted time they have till the chapter release. This why I said the devs should been more aware of the impact this type of change would had without a change to cages. I don't think they really needed a PTB to figure out that out and now PH gets absolutely nothing this patch.

With balance, if there are changes to powers that do not align with how the base game already functions, then reverting it makes sense. When broader game balance changes can be put into place, then smaller tweaks to specific killers can have more of their intended effects.

My only disappointment is the fact that this even made it to a PTB to begin with. Dev team should have seen the problems with this basekit change would have caused without having to test it in the PTB. Now PH players get absolutely nothing this patch and honestly it feels bad. Hopefully y'all make a addon pass for poor triangle man a priority to make up for this patch since that's the area he needs the most help. The only good addons on him are the range addons it be nice to have more fun options to play with.

  • Tho I'm really sad he not getting any love this patch I do think this was the right call. Maybe in the next mid chapter or later he not only get slight power rework to allow this basekit change but also a much needed add on pass as well. We can only hope.

  • "Fourth, use the "Sacrificial Ward" it will include a random map that just needs to be modified to make it foolproof 100%"

You do realize that green hands are the rarest offering in the game? No one can use one every match since they so rare and you won't get it back if no one brings a map offering.

I get that it's a subjective thing, different tastes and I respect that, I just don't understand what's fun about playing SM.

Having played her for the adept and the recent tome challenges, I've come to the conclusion that she's boring to play no matter if you're winning or losing.

I don't see what there is to master, your power does everything for you.

It protects generators for you, it alerts you what gens are being worked on, it alerts you when people are countering your power, it shuts down basically any loop in the game forcing the survivor to leave. It gives you some stealth (For some reason????) and It speeds you up when survivors mess with your power, making chasing as an m1 killer a bit easier

To top it all off she doesn't even have a fun power to use in chase - moving slightly faster is not a fun and engaging power. It's a lazy bandaid fix.

It feels to me like some people are acting like SM is a lot more complicated and deeper than she really is. A power having lots of things and being needlessly complicated doesn't mean it takes a lot of skill or mastery to use.

Personally I really enjoy simple killers who doesn't have bunch of techs I have to learn to even play the killer. I personally hate blight and somewhat dislike Wesker because of this. I play a bunch of different types of games and I can't memorize or develop muscle memory to do all these different techs some of these killers have. It's the same reason why I hate fighting games because of all the damn combos you have to learn to even compete.

To put it in perspective some of my most favorite killers in the game right are wraith, legion, knight and yes even SM. I enjoy simple killers with simple powers.

  • Well as a killer main I can say I love that the DH meta is gone. For me it feels amazing to be able to lunge again at pallets, it feels good I don't have to "wait it out" in the first chase against everyone, and it feels good to finally see some variety in survivor builds when it comes to exhaustion perks.

Say what you will about how easy it was to counter DH. There was only situation where DH was easy to counter and that was in the open in a dead zone. Most the times DH was used in loops near pallets and it put the killer in a lose-lose situation where if they swing at the survivor at a pallet they get DHed and if they don't swing they get stunned by the pallet. Either way the survivor wins and runs away and makes the killer waste even more time in a chase.

I personally haven't had any issues with Lithe or SB. I can work around those perks and think of ways to negate thier effects some what. Most people aren't even good at 99ing SB anyway.

Guess I'm weird. I actually care if the game is miserable for others.

I would care more if others showed they cared but major of my matches against survivors ends up being very toxic. I get completely stumped on as killer and all I get is "gg baby killer", "ez" or teabagging at the gates. After a while of all that I just stop caring about others fun.

You do you. Just don't expect anyone to be happy to see her.

Oh I will. At the end of the day I only care about my enjoyment and fun just like everyone else. Ppl cared about others enjoyment in this game I wouldn't be sent to God awful maps every other match like garden of Joy or see bnp toolboxes all the time.

  • *enjoys playing chase SM and will continue to play her no matter what*

  • Seems like a lot wants chase meta but here the thing from a killer pov. Why should I chase you if all you going to do is bring a Garden of Joy map offering and just lead me to the main building every single time where every chase ends up 30+ secs? If ppl really want a chase meta then try that bvhr to hire actual good map designers and make maps less safe and encourage scourage chasing. There a lot of maps in DBD that are horrible to chase survivors in bc alot of those chases end up being 30+ secs thanks to pallets linking together, strong building and windows.

Actually it also works against Dredge. I played against one last night with the visual heartbeat turned on and saw the heart during his nightfall.

Really? I didn't know that. That sucks for dredge. Honestly I think only one killer in the game needs a lullaby and that's huntress. I don't understand why other killers have one.
