Yeah I was wondering why they got rid of it. It was nice to be able to switch especially since I play both roles

Allowing her to gain her corrupt from any range would just make no one cleanse ever as opposed to the 5-10% of people that do right now.
I don't think the number of pools needs to change.
I would like to see an action speed slow down but I wouldn't say any more than 5% as they are already easier to track and down when sick.
I disagree. People will cleanse if they have to deal with thanatophobia and if they decide to give her power action debuff, that's even more of an incentive

One problem with this..
"Allow the plague to corrupt pools from any range."
The Plague isn't the one currupting the pools though, the survivors are.. allowing the plague to corrupt the pools herself would defeat the entire point of infecting survivors and having them cleanse themselves, thus corrupting the pools.
Oh my bad. I thought that is what that action was called. You know what I mean though right?
-
I think that would make it not played for the same reason distortion isn't played and that's because it's on a token system.
-
That's the reason I'm not really getting this latest chapter. I don't care for the survivors perks and I don't like the deathslinger. I don't want to trade a healthy state just to heal someone. It's more of a swf perk which I thought they were trying to avoid. The other perks are useless. I'll just use iron will. If I want to make a gen make noise I'll fail a skill check or hop out a locker.
-
I've been getting people who farm when I'm trying to just play the game regularly.
-
Survivor: Kate, Jane, Yui and David I play mostly.
Killer: Mostly Oni right now but I do play Plague, Pig, Clown, and Ghost face as well.
-
Honestly, I see no reason to use oni over hillbilly

What perks you usually run with it? Yeah i love we'll make it. Especially when those folks unhook me.
I usually run whatever I felt like at the time. My current build is we'll make it, kindred, any means, and no one left behind
-
No swf, I'd stop playing Dbd and I'm sure others would too.
-
I'm just interested to hear what his new theme is gonna be, I mean his Chase music.
-
Now that Yui has dropped I think her and the last four original survivor perks should be looked at. So autodidact, diversion, boil over, distortion, aftercare, etc ..
For killers, I wanted them to change the way furtive chase works so that you keep the tokens you earned throughout the game.
-
I think we'll make it is very underrated.
I think self care is overrated
-
If they wanted to keep the iridescent head make it so they could only have one hatchet and couldn't increase the amount of hatchets to hold
-
You guys have great points and ideas. I didn't think of it that way.
-
I suggested that in a chat for a developer and they didn't like that idea. I think it'd make distortion useful but it's not gonna happen.
-
I think two kills two escapes is fair for both sides. Also, if survivors never had a chance of surviving what would be the point of playing that role?
-
I mean it's easy to say ignore the rift challenges but you have to remember that other survivors will be doing them as well and so have to deal with that too. Normal games aren't the norm anymore. I like personally am ok with the rift but I can see why people don't like it. Also can we earn iridescent shards for doing these rifts or at least earn more rift shards the higher we go
-
Yes c'mon changes to the spirit. Bout time
-
I was thinking that when survivors come into contact with the tonic gas they cough and are unable to do actions like drop pallets or vault similar to doctors shock power
-
Thank you
-
Bout time. That ######### was getting away with ######### for free. Get her, snatch her wig
-
I hear you but I feel like people will dc regardless of the punishment and if that means that more people getting banned that means less people playing the game, less survivors and killers, more wait times, etc. I doubt it'll fix anything as instead force people to stop playing altogether but that's just a prediction of mine.
-
Well it's not the content that I'd want but I hope others will like it.
-
I hope so.
-
Then I guess I misunderstood the rift thing then
-
I don't really care for archives personally. There are rewards for characters I don't care about or play. Also having to pay for that along with the continue added chapters and cosmetics I actually do want. It's a cool idea though. I really like lore, I just what it wasn't tied to money.
-
I personally wanna see Billy nerfed more than spirit but I can why they want her nerfed.
-
I actually think trapper can be very good. He has a lot of momentum if he can catch survivors and really good with basements. I play killer too but I say just wait until you get better and more perks before you make these judgments.
-
Just make legions power different altogether 😃. I think a power that doesn't help you down survivors is a bad idea. But this change sounds cool. I don't think it matters though because it won't affect legion much since if someone needs to mend they'll either be away from a chase or in a chase with legion. It's cool if you would be able to see who's oblivious but that's not the case like with demo
-
Honestly as a killer and survivor, I hate ruin as a perk. I don't really care about slowing the game down thar much but everyone else does. I think the reason why ruin is a great because if it was always active it'd be too strong. That sounds like what you're trying to do but I don't know, I guess it's up to the devs.
-
What is aliasing?
-
I personally would just like a new power altogether
-
I have been playing huntress for a while and it is hard to know where to aim on console. A cross hairs would be appreciated.
-
I like that idea. I was also thinking about making buckle up able to show auras intensity for wiggling survivors so you know when to take a hit if a survivor is almost out of grasp.
-
Yeah it would be nice if it could be paused because then it would reward the survivor for running the killer after just getting off the hook. Instead it forces the survivor to play bad in order for the perk to activate it effects. Of course others aren't going to agree with this change though because it makes the perk better. And people already don't like this perk. But I like that change.
-
I feel like people will still dc if they punish you for it which will cause less players to be on which will cause longer wait times and less people playing. I feel like if they didn't want people to leave the game they shouldn't have made that an option to begin with.

Well, there's a couple of things about it:
- survivors're rewarded for doing something they should do anyway. Do they really need even more encouragement for it?
- this perk discourages other objectives: healing (no need if you do gens fast enough), doing totems (ain't no time for that, faster you do gens, faster you get adrenaline), search chests (waste of time, you should've brought an item with you);
- people that did badly also rewarded (ex.: people literally on the hook).
This perk encourages something that doesn't need to be encouraged, and discourages everything else, hence it has a bad influence on the game, forcing opposite side to use quick to react killers.
Design of new perks at least encourages something that's healthy for the game (aside from quick-healing part, of course): escaping after a hook and doing bones. Altough, their design promotes tunneling gameplay for the killer. From my point of view, adrenaline is just badly designed perk.
Yeah it does discourage other things besides just doing gens but that's what survivors are supposed to do. There are other perks that encourage others types of gameplay. If people weren't complaining about healing then there wouldn't be a meta where they have to use that perk. Now people are complaining about this perk. It won't stop until everything that's good on the survivor side is nerfed.

I do agree, the problem is that Joey and Susie are not free so they would need to introduce them in the game in the base dlc. At that point it would work
Yeah it would be cool if they had default variations like Frank and Julie as the second pair.
-
I would rather an idea on using all the members so they're an actual legion. But how is where I'm stumped. I've obvious thing would be to switch characters. But the power is still up in the air.
-
It would be nice to dodge going against Billy since I see him every damn game. But I can't because I don't have that information. Like I'm at a point where I'm ok with getting stomped by a nurse if I can just get one. I also think killers shouldn't be able to see survivor names. It'll be helpful with dodging and what's that thing called where people raid certain streamers lobbies? I don't know what it's called but that.
-
I personally don't want a secondary objective. I'm fine with doing totems and opening chests if I wanna get off a gen but that's just me.

You don't have to come up with a janky solution like that, we already have a status effect that could simulate one timed health state: Endurance
I'm not sure if changing one healing to one Endurance would be a buff or a nerf. Would no longer picks you up from dying state but 1 Endurance is a huge safety net.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/659722#Comment_659722
Eh. Having a survivor the killer downed pop up from dying state due to someone else's actions is not punishing the killer for ineptitude, it's bailing the survivor out of a mistake they made.
It's rewarding survivors for getting gens done. Should've hooked the survivor when you could.

No the wake up is fine. Think about it, wouldn't you wake up from a dream if suddenly you get a surge of energy? They do this all the time when they inject adrenaline to the heart. Like realistically, its possible that you can sustain your injuries for a while longer when you get an adrenaline boost. It has happened to me when I fell off my skateboard and I broke my arm, yet I will still able to get up like it was nothing until a short while ago I started to feel it. Like I said previously how its OP to get a permanent health boost, but realistically wouldn't you think that survivors would feel the pain again after the adrenaline wears down?
This is a game not reality. The game and the perks shouldn't be balanced off of realistic.

I'm not asking to remove the adrenaline ability. I just ask to tone it down. If you are injured and the last gen gets done, then sure go ahead and get a health and speed boost to survivor longer. But lets be honest, its overpowering that they get a 5 second speed boost with a permanent health boost. This is demoralizing for an M1 killer at the very most because now you have to catch up to the survivors and hit them again (sometimes twice) while being looped around pallets. Not only that, but it also rewards those that are being toxic against the killer like looping, insta heals, borrowed time and then getting the adrenaline boost.
All I am asking is to put a timer on it just so that half the cast of killers don't get loop for an extra 2 minutes.
I play an m1 killer, aka the clown, so I've experienced adrenaline plenty of times. I still don't see why it should be toned down when it rewards survivor objective and punishes killers unable to kill. It is a strong perk but it only works at the end. If there's any need to it that I could see them do it's removing the ability to wake up and giving that to wake up perk. It's just my opinion but I'm sure others agree with you.
-
I personally don't understand why people want adrenaline changed when it's a peek that only works after all the generator's are done? If you lost you lost. It rewards survivors for doing gens and punishes killers for not being able to kill.
-
I use it every single game
-
Just because a perk makes the game unfun for killers doesn't mean it shouldn't be a thing. Especially if it isn't that strong to begin with. I think it's a decent buff to the perk
