I know I'm going to have a blast when I get to Wrecker's Yard, Blood Lodge, Macmillan maps, they're fun.
I can't stand Azerov's Resting Place, Ormond, Hawkins, Lery's.
I like open fields, open maps that you can see everything and everyone as a killer myself.

Right. Because everyone records all their games at all time.
Console and PC have ways to record at least 10-30 minutes of previous gameplay.
I'm just pointing out that some proof should be provided.
-
That is amazing! Definitely worth trying out.
-
They only hinder killers.

EGC is 2 minutes. However when a survivor is hooked or dying the timer slows down by 50%
If the killer hooks someone halfway through when there is only 1 minute left, well with the guy on the hook that 1 minute becomes 2 minutes.
I get there are a very small minority of situations where Bloodwarden may screw you but you forget the fact that since EGC its now worthless in 99% of situations as survivors wont open the gates until they are sure all 4 can safely make it out.
It needs a buff not a nerf.
Agreed, it just sucks.
-
It's a lazy approach to a strategy, it's laughable and pathetic.
-
A health patch.
Faster servers, better latency, hitboxes etc.
-
I've gone against Undying+Ruin so many times and have been able to escape.
Either we rush gens or just simply find all totems, it's a perfectly fine combo.
-
It would be awesome, but you play a game where you get punished for having a good connection.
-
I laughed at "Motivate killers to go after other survivors."
You can give them 10x the Bloodpoints and they'll still tunnel. BBQ is a good motivation and most of them still don't bother.
Want to get rid of tunneling perks? Rework the hook system to reflect more of what Pyramid Head does.

Yeah, and fat Survivors are actually slower, and old Survivors become permanently Broken on any hit!
And fat survivors gain the Exhausted effect after climbing a hill or climbing stairs.

We have Jane already, doesn't she already fit your criteria?

Mandytalk elaborated it pretty well, make sure to have screenshots as well.
You have to open a ticket and give it time, it's not instant but it does get done.

The Hex has a cooldown.
That's why.

What nurse bugs are there? I keep seeing people mention bugs about her, but I never knew which one it was. Is it her fatigue?
There is still an entire hallway in Midwich that she cannot port through, SINCE Silent Hill PTB and they haven't fixed it.
-
Since Lisa Garland came out I've been wondering how a PS1 game's character design look so much better than DBD's variation of Lisa.
And now Cybil.
-
Catering to survivors?
Do you think killers want to stand on top of the hatch for 1 hour and wait for the survivor to jump in?

Max had a stroke a few months ago, it's probably because of that
I stopped watching him before Covid hit, that was well over 6 months ago, I wish him well, don't get me wrong.
-
Most PS4 players don't play anymore.
Myself included, my guy, most of my friends aren't on DBD. I migrated to PC.
PS4 DBD is buggy, it's a mess, it's ignored. Console optimization is as much of a joke as the Promised Land, they completely threw away their "Road to 60 FPS" for console.

I have to agree about Puppers as much i love him. He used to be good like 1 year ago.
He throws games, he gets downed very very quick, suicide on hooks.
I was 13 month twitch sub but i stopped watching him. Maybe he's bored/burnt out.
I thought it was only me, glad you noticed that too.
I stopped watching him too.
He's just has a permanent "meh" attitude, like...guy can't be happy or smile anymore.

So the short story, Cheers had cancer, it went south, he caught it too late. Me and him began talking because of it and we started dating on the 17th of August. He was amazing, best boyfriend I could've asked for, everything and more. He deserved the world. Yesterday I learned he'd passed away on 13th. Thanks to coronavirus, I couldn't go visit him to hold his hand and promise him I loved him.
And I don't want to ever forget a single thing he said or did. He's still one of the best people I know.
Jesus Christ, he was 19?
That's ######### depressing, I'm so sorry.

What the ######### happened?
What?

Dude, #########. I'm so sorry......

I've also been playing for 3 years and as a solo survivor myself there's nothing more irritating than a camping killer who tunnels.
Not just camps me, but tunnels my team and doing my best to take protection hits and deliberately throw myself at the killer because the jerk is tunnel visioning my fellow solo survivor.

I don't mind, I Love encouraging people to use the report system, no matter how slow it is it does get resolved.
Thank you. =]

I guess you conveniently forgot to mention the map reworks & some of the newer maps which actually favour the killers more.
Because after Ruin was nerfed the killers couldn't compete.
Ruin nerf + Infinites + Prove Thyself.
This entire situation happened after the Ruin nerf.

Exactly they are always 99. The buff just seems not much thought of and just something thrown in to get people to not complain.
Agreed.

Faster healing speed on a dying survivor is not a buff?
It's pointless, how many times do you heal a survivor from 0-100?
This isn't the (laughable) buff it needs.

Any "chase" perk is easily abused by looking down, or turning around and cutting chase.
Anyone who suggests a perk that "stalls the timer when in a chase" is well...how can I put this lightly....short bus.

I mean even you have to agree on the irony that pops getting nerfed because "you could do so much in 60 seconds" *points at ds*
I'm an avid supporter of DS but I don't agree with their reasoning behind the Pop nerf.
It makes 0 sense.
-
You can just cut the bullcrap and admit that you want it deleted.
Jesus Christ, Obamacare doesn't even have that many requirements for its deletion.
-
I find the Devs complete silence on the DS replies to be.....
Quite amusing, if not offensive as well.

Which killer do you main? Just curious, since you should try a new killer, I remember getting some advice around 4 months ago from @BigBrainMegMain to try a different killer, and I did, and it was so much fun. You should also practice your mindgames, and learn how to run certain tiles, and mindgame them to outplay your opponent.
Here's a video on how to run the generic tiles.
4 months ago lemme see....
I think I started using Billy around that time and I was having a blast, if you want to compete in Red Rank gameplay you have to use a Red Rank competent killer, Spirit, Nurse, Oni, because everyone will bring their A Game and you must too. No more playing for funsies, if you're being gen rushed to hell, they're not there to have fun, they're there to leave and you must have the same mentality IF you want to compete in Red Ranked gameplay.
-
Agreed, the condition needs to be removed.

For me the biggest one is Latency... just really kills the fun for me, and it's probably the one they can't really do much about.
I am not really sure how servers work, but I wonder if there is a possibility that servers can be bad? Or is it simply a bad connection between the player and the server.
I have a pretty good idea on how servers work, they need spaces to rent, they need to pay for more CPUs, better connectivity, better internet throughout the world, it's a huge process but it's worth it, it keeps your players happy.
And I agree, I cannot stand the latency.
-
What's your example of the "stagnant meta?"
-
You know what....
That's fair, if you know me, I'm a huge advocate for DS. I Love DS but...you're right.
"Too Lenient" but DS doesn't get touched? Pop went Meta after their awful decision on the Ruin Nerf and they're messing with it again?
That's unfair to killers. I agree.
@White_Owl said:
DS and PGTW are completely different perks. Just the fact that they share a similar timer doesn't make them comparable. Just reducing the timer for DS has a much bigger impact than Pop, that perk need a less simple approach to make it fair for both sides.
They're the same, in a way. They both halt Objective Progression.
Again, they're the same, in a way.
-
This game is in desperate need for attention.
Latency, bugs, glitches, servers just....Christ, come on BHVR.

Overthinking it, Use dead hard for distance not to dodge, its more consistent for distance.. Bigbrain..?
No, answer my damn question.
If it's not meant to take a hit, WHY DOES IT NULLIFY AN ATTACK?
Answer me and stop dodging the question.
Is it meant to nullify an attack? Yes or no?

If you think a borrowed time nerf is good, just stop tunneling and go for the saviour instead of the guy gettinz unhooked. This perk change would buff tunneling the guy getting unhooked a lot
If you think I think Borrowed Time needs a nerf, then we're on the wrong page.
-
That's a nerf to Borrowed Time, sounds pretty good.
The notification thing, I don't really care. You can just look at the bottom left of the screen to see if they've been unhooked or not, you don't need the notification. That'll make Basement Builds a lot stronger too.
I like it.
-
Taking the game seriously? No, I derank when I want, play how I want.
I Franklin's and stand on their item, slug, let them bleed out, I do not take this game serious anymore.
-
At least Dead by Daylight doesn't take up 170 Gigs and makes patches and downloadable content large on purpose so you're forced to delete other games and only play Dead by Daylight.
cough Modern Warfare cough

That's actually not a bad idea. If meathooks teleported around the map like cages, while it would make punishing "gens before friends" harder and would be an issue needing looked into, it could also open up some interesting possibilities from both sides. If the killer is chasing you and no-one else is near the hook, run at it and loop its tile. It gets teleported away, and the survivor can get unhooked (maybe). On the other side, if the team is just rushing unhooks, facecamp for 5 seconds, hook goes away, and there's a chase or two just sitting there waiting for you.
I like this.
I really hope they look into more ways to play around the hooks and different ways to hook survivors.
