If you're sweaty, kill everyone desperately, tunnel someone, slug everyone at 5 gens.
That's boring.
-
lol what?
There are already plenty of counters to Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike and others.
I'm just....
What?! lol

Corrupt Intervention is way better for that. And this goes for both old Ruin and new Ruin.
All Corrupt Intervention does is have the survivors and killer play hide and go seek for 2 minutes.
It only blocks 3 gens and on large maps, 4 gens are furthest away from you.
Nothing, NOTHING will replace old Ruin.
-
Franklin's is the counter to item usage.
All you have to do it pick it up again, it won't lose its charges anymore.

I think killers rely too heavily on perks that they forget it takes awareness and map knowledge to do most of the work. Idk but something doesn’t sit right with having the ability to make repair progress timers longer. It’s not fun for survivors to stare at that longer while killers prance around the map at 100mph slapping people 🤦🏽
Decisive Strike.
Borrowed Time.
We'll Make It.
Self Care.
Adrenaline.
Dead Hard.
Sprint Burst.
And speaking of AWARENESS: Spine Chill, Premonition.
Iron Will.
It's not fun for killers to watch survivors prance around while having 3 or 4 second chance perks at their disposal.
-
He's easy to go against, it's the other survivors that tend to have trouble with him.
He's still an M1 Loopable killer, I don't get the frustration.
Playing as him, I've only played him on PS4 and I usually get 4k's but at like....the last gen done.
He's not for me, I don't get what makes him so good.
-
Old Ruin didn't stop gen rush BUT, it did give the killer a 1 minute or 2 to begin his/her game.
Gens didn't pop the second you began a chase, you could have at least a hook or two before any gens would start popping and someone would eventually find Ruin.
It provided a great "Beginning Phase" of the match rather than just gens popping in the first minute.
-
DS is fine as it is.
It's the killer's choice to pick up the survivor that just recently was off the hook.
It's the killer's choice to open that locker.
It's the killer's choice to LET that survivor use Decisive Strike.
Don't punish the survivor for the bad decisions of the killer.
Those are my 2 cents.

DS should deactivate instantly if you enter a locker, another survivor is hooked, get fully healed, touch a gen or totem. One more condition, only one DS active at a time
That way, its actually an anti tunneling perk.
lol you're cute.
So a survivor can remain slugged while the killer is carrying someone to the hook and can come back easily for you pick you up and hook you again?
And that's fair how?
This would be an easy 4k for any camping killer. Please, explain how this is fair?

You did that on Hawkins?
You must be an insanely good nurse way below your rank or all the Survivors are boosted af. Or both. Nice going!
Thank you, I purposely stay at Rank 16, I don't kill anyone about 80% of the time but I had a daily as Nurse and I got carried away.
-
Monitor. BBQ, Thanataphobia and Pop.
Or replace BBQ with Nurse's Calling.
-
I had a great time as killer.
I didn't tunnel, didn't camp, didn't use NOED.
I did everything perfectly as a killer would but....
Not 1 GG.
I at least thanked them for the BPS.
This was in Hawkins, that God-Awful map.
-
The one thing I can't stand is when they try and loop WITH you.
When you've been looping the killer for minutes and someone decides to join and throws down a pallet, or uses your resources for themselves.
-
I've been wanting a "Whiff" perk and another perk for the killer that rewards you for hitting a survivor while you're carrying someone, aside from the 300 Brutality.
-
Yes, sometimes when the survivor is also dying on the hook and the Entity is taking them, the unnecessary music overwhelms any other sound which can be crucial when you're looking for the hatch or another survivor.
The music offsets the balance even further. The volume is completely unnecessary in this day and age.
-
That sounds like a good idea.
If the survivor can do into FIRST Person view when hooked.
-
Zubat has been playing killer for the past week or two.
No offense, it's a bit dull, he's only been playing Deathslinger.
-
I made a video about this.
Currently, Leatherface's Chainsaw can be held while Insidious remains active.
-
Get on the Discord, the Dead by Daylight one.
Get into a Survive With Friends, there are many newcomers that want to play together.
I highly advise that, it's better to learn together.
Also, look up "How to Loop" in YouTube to learn the basics on how to, and WHEN to drop pallets, how to loop around the killer shacks, and tips and tricks for both survivor and killer to make it a bit easier for you. =]

But the 2 110% killers have ranged attacks
You do have a point, yes.
But I need to get into a map to show you what I mean, you'll understand more with visuals.
-
AI Killers would solve the console queue times.
It's ghastly how long a solo survivor has to wait in queue on PS4, not to mention a 20 minutes SWF queue.
-
Congrats!
It removes everything, literally all your perks, addons, items, everything.
If you really want to, get 1M Bloodpoints, and your dailies done BUT NOT CLAIMED, and Prestige. It eases the sting if you Prestige with no Bloodpoints in the bank.
-
It stopped me from playing survivor.
I've been playing killer but staying Rank 16 since their implementation.

Honestly, the way this game is headed.....you just die in 20~ seconds whenever the killer finds you. That's already how it is for many of the current killers and new maps. Even the shack is nerfed on new maps because baby killers can't handle it. It's kinda sad.
They can balance the game around M1 killers but just ignore how incredibly overpowered it will make the killers who already counter looping.
Letting a killer get to you and looping them for 20 seconds isn't a killers fault.
It's the survivor's fault, and only theirs.

No, because it's the only exhaustion perk that might as well read.. "TREMENDOUSLY increased chance to not work and exhaust you anyway."
THIS is the reason why Dead Hard isn't so strong at the moment.
Stick with Sprint Burst, it's always reliable.

Something akin to Uraeus - that stylized, upright, embezzled Egyptian cobra. So just an Egyptian themed snake, basically. The aesthetic would be incredibly pleasing, and a lot of people are scared of snakes. And since Uraeus symbolizes divine authority, I feel like it fits, in a manner similar to Plague - cultist entities serving the, well, Entity.
I've wanted an Egyptian-inspired chapter for years - Anubis would be a more likely choice for an Egyptian chapter - but I just really love that Egyptian theme, and snakes, so, that would be my ideal, non-humanoid choice. That, or just a big-ass spider.
And in case people say "well, you can't have an ancient survivor" an Archaeologist would fit perfectly.
-
To 110% Speed killers, this IS an infinite. The second you lose chase on someone while you're still tailing them, the Entity Blocker will not block the window, thus giving the survivor plenty of time for another loop or 2.
It's why the map is deemed as Ironworks of Infinites.

insidious was taught to be a jump scare perk, back when the game was supposed to be scary. Since everybody use it just to bubba face camp, no it's clearly not working as intended.
onto the video: I've literally no idea why it doesn't work on huntress but it works on bubba.
Thank you for your reply, I hope it's a bug.
It doesn't work on Nurse, Billy, Huntress, anyone else holding down an M2.
-
The thing that angers me about the Ruin nerf is that killers received no compensation for the nerf.
When toolboxes were nerfed, they received an increase in gen speed.
Ruin was nerfed, and that was that.
-
My favorite for survivor is Haddonfield.
My favorite for killer has to be Rancid Abattoir.
-
They did what.....
-
You're absolutely correct.
Ivories are rarer than Ebonies.

It's odd I used to play dbd on PC, but I switched to PS4, because it was free back in 2018. Though my mains have stayed the same since then, I play Nurse on console. I forget the reason why I switched in the first place as it was so long ago, but I do still enjoy the game even if there are some issues with frames and sensitivity.
I still main Spirit on PS4, and all my buddies are on PS4. I don't know why I left PS4 and rarely play it though.
Oh yeah, survivor queue times are a nightmare and I'm with a SWF.
I do enjoy playing killer on PS4, but I mained Spirit there. You must have a lot of patience maining Nurse on PS4.

That's awesome, I am super glad people still play her. :)
She is and will always be my favorite killer to play. <3
Same, she's been my favorite since PS4. She's the reason I defected to PC.

Did the Nurse destroy or was she a rank 16, I just want to hear whether or not other Nurse mains still exist.
You got one here. =]
Always and forever.
-
Old Ruin was the bandaid to the main issue.
Once they nerfed that, the Gen Rush Meta began.
It's why NOED and Devour Hope are so strong, IFFFFFFF the totem spawns were and have been worked on like they said they were.
But since totem spawns haven't been worked on like they said they were, Hex Perks are still garbage.
Old Ruin needs to come back.

Just to clarify, it's not mine. I just thought of it as a perfect example to prove my point. Go check the youtuber out, he's good!
It's all good.
There's also an animation issue with the game.
Almost every time you vault, you get pulled back in "neutral stance" and you have to begin your run animation again.
I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed either.

Thanks for the information. I read somewhere that Behaviour relies on Amazon-provided servers, is it correct?
Also, I've watched Monto's gameplay of predator, and it looks pretty cool. Might give it a shot when it comes out.
Your video is honestly extremely hilarious.
It's worse than mine (in terms of lag and server ping).
-
It's not hitboxes, it's not your connections, nor the killers.
It's their servers.
Predator just released their demo, and while I was playing it I noticed their servers were amazing.
It was a demo, and their servers were much better than this.
We haven't received any updates on their end. We haven't been told their working on the servers, on the lag, ping, anything.
Complete silence.

Because the game is very survivor-sided, especially if you are in a swf group, less and less player want to play killer. With less killers but potential more survivors (because some killers dont stop playing, they just switch sides) waiting times go up.
This is exactly why.
No other words, this is the main reason.
-
I Love Nurse's. You keep flipping them, over and over.
-
I've been saying for a while, Pop should be able to regress the gates.
It'd be a nice idea, I think. =]

its not boring by today's standards at all, people dont know quality, they want action and explosions and think that means something.
Its Darth Vader vs Obiwan in the original trilogy against Darth Maul vs Qui-gon and Young Obiwan in the prequels.
The first is mostly talking, a hit here and there but heavy on the lore, the history, there is a lot going on in the characters.
The second is BZOOM LIGHSABER ZING ZING WHOOOOH ZING ZING ZOOM ZWAOMMMM AWESUME DUDE WOOOOHHH......
So yeah, Candyman is more for the ermm thinking person, a lot of modern movies are more for those who want some dumb gore with stupid characters where really we all root for the killer.
Yes, all of this.
It's Michael Bay vs. Dario Argento.
-
@TheRockstarKnight said:
I hope not, we haven't had a male Survivor since Steve or a female Killer since Plague/Demogorgon (I think Demodoggy is a good girl).
That aside, I've seen the first Candyman film. It was boring, the plot left a lot to be desired, and the best part of it, the music, got old after 20 minutes and frustrating after 40.
Also what would Candyman do? Teleport behind Survivors, improbably manage to impale them with his hook, and then blame it on Nea? Apply Deep Wounds with bees?
You have to admit, regardless of how you feel about Candyman, he wouldn't really fit into 'circle the pallet 100 times and get bonked' gameplay loop of DbD.
It's not meant to be viewed as "Boring" no duh it's going to be "Boring" by today's standards.
It's a Classic, imagine watching it as a kid not as an adult in 2020, or 2019.

I've been playing for a few months now, rank 2-3 survivor. I honestly don't know how this game is supposed to be balanced. Killer wins almost 100% of the time in higher ranks.
As an example, the last game I played it was against freddy, indoor map. He had HEX: RUIN and no one could do a generator, no one could escape. How does the killer have fun when there is no challange?
Every other game also, zero survivors escaped, except one hatch escape.
I probably wont play much longer. Not that the game devs probably care. You who are reading wont care, I know. I'm simply confused as to how this game is supposed to work?
Take a key, I have hundreds.

Lags aren't a game mechanic.
You don't know if it's intentional or not.
-
Yes, when survivors kill themselves on hook when they're on their struggling phase.
It's unintentional, like a 4% Kobe and you're closer to your 4k.
Don't you get survivors that randomly kill themselves when things are still going well for the team?
I do.
-
It's their servers.
Aren't they great?
It's why I continue to use Sprint Burst, these servers are so unreliable a Dead Hard has a 20% of being successful.
-
Thank you for tagging me in this.
I Love the idea, any help for the Nurse would make her a bit more threatening rather than a complete joke.
It would make small loops better for her since she can recharge her blinks faster than having to wait for 2 full blinks. It's annoying getting looped in a small area and having to wait for 2 full blinks. Especially with her blink bugs, blinking in place and not being able to blink through some obstacles.
I like it.
