What's the difference between this weeks and last weeks?
Nothing.
Still useless.

Amanda's Secret is so bad. My God, it needs a rework.

If you don't receive the charged shot points after charging a hatchet, no, it's not intentional. I would suggest filling out a bug report in the bug reporting section.
Thank you, are Charged Shots suppose to give you 300 Deviousness regardless?
What about Precise Shots? What's qualifies a Precise Shot?
-
@Peanits Is this intentional?

Fair enough. I agree completely.
But this topic is specifically about the face-camping. I am trying to determine why killers are using this tactic to such a degree. It can't be that they all honestly think its a good way to skill, rank, or blood point up? Because its not. The game doesn't reward it and in my past experiences, players generally choose the most rewarding tactics.
So, again, what gives?
I honestly just got out of a match with a face camping Bubba, 2 minutes ago.
He was baiting everyone else and well, everyone died, I had a key. 3 gens got done and I escaped. He called me a Jew as an insult.
But anyways, I believe it's because they're self conscious about their own skills as a killer, they want that ONE kill no matter what.
It's that fear of leaving your bubble, you know? You leave your bubble, you might lose it all or gain it all.

Gonna go with no. DS is fine. And if you choose to approach every survivor with caution because they might have it, that's your choice.
Thank you.
It's nice to hear someone else say this.
-
The Switch Release was nothing more than a cash grab.
-
In regards to camping and tunneling, yes, survivors have it pretty hard.
Outside from the camping and tunneling, survivors have it easy.

Again, I have definitely experienced recently (on a character I was not running DS on) the situation where the killer hooked me, downed someone right in the same vicinity while someone came to off-hook me. I got off-hooked as the other person was getting put on the hook closest to mine (almost simultaneous, but I was off first) and by the time my feet hit the ground the killer was already turning and running at me. I got immediately downed 5 steps from the hook. In this case, if DS deactivated when that person was hooked, my perk would have proc'd for less than a second or two. I do see why it has a timer, and as a solo survivor, it's important that it stays that way.
Exactly, and you should not be punished because the killer wants to play like an ass.
-
Yes, DS is perfectly fine in its state and it should not, and will not be changed.
-
@gatsby said:
If I have another chase and another hook, but the next person I go for still has DS for some reason. I just tunnel them out of the game and don't let them leave. I will never reward someone for using DS. If I get stunned, they're dead.
And you're the reason why the devs are giving more second chance perks to survivors and you know what, I don't mind.
Thank you for being the reason why survivors are being given even more second chance perks.

What a joke.
I should start recording my games so you can see my 20 escape-and-winning streak at rank 1. This game is bullshit for the people who know how to abuse game design. Games are so boring for me as survivor that I firstly stopped playing, then stopped watching after seeing Zubat being rekt by trash survivors on gigantic maps multiple times.
That honestly still trips me out.
I saw one live and I couldn't keep my mouth closed.
-
Anyone can get 4's at Brown, Yellow and Green Ranks.
But eventually you'll start to climb the ladder, and you'll realize how wrong you were.
-
Get to a comfortable rank and stay there.
I did and it's a stress reliever. We get punished the further we climb up the ranks, so avoid it.
-
I've been having a great time as killer.
Rank 16 of course and every survivor has been able to live, point farming without letting them know I'm Bloodpoint farming.
It's been fun. Everyone has been enjoying themselves.
-
Legion was a flawed Design from the start. The character themselves shouldn't have existed, this should have been Ghostface's power.
-
In before someone says "Do you wait until the bar fills up?"

Do you not kill anyone? How do you avoid pipping?
Get Max Deviousness.
Max Hunting.
Max Brutality.
Safety Pip. No hooks.

Rank 1s are supposed to be confined to the rank range of 1-6/7, aren't they? I can't remember if the intended "acceptable" range was +/- 6 or 7 ranks. So assuming matchmaking works as intended they're already actually supposed to only be matched with red and the "top" of purple ranks.
But of course, matchmaking gets drunk a lot.
It's not matchmaking, this is completely intentional.
-
Oh boo hoo, 1 killer had an advantage over you.
Don't act like survivors don't abuse the locker lag and makes killers miss hits while jumping in and out of lockers and having them get stuck in grab animation as the survivor runs off.
Both sides benefit in some way.
-
I get paired up with Reds and Purples all day.
I don't mind it, I can't stand it though but eh.
-
I've stayed in Rank 16 and 15 as killer and refuse to move up to Purple and Red Ranks.
I was previously Rank 1 killer for multiple months but I grew tired of the increasing bias.
I'm enjoying BP farming, hide and seek games and the occasional Red Rank survivor that slips into my brown rank games.
I thoroughly enjoy Rank 16 and 15.
-
Keys don't really need to go, they just need a better rework on the "Hatch Opening" aspect of it.
Moris are a game changer, they can hurt the killer, but also hurt the survivor in the long run. A typical Ebony Mori user tunnels the survivor off hook and continues that chain to the rest of the survivors.
I wouldn't mind removing Moris for a complete key rework, I do enjoy using Blood Amber with Prayer Beads and Streetwise from time to time, it's a better Spine Chill.

or.. people use the same character and i can't tell who was off the hook and who wasn't
or.. they are the only person i see. Should i go to the opposite side of the map to MAYBE find someone?
do you even play killer? one does not have to tunnel to be hit by that trash and you know it
lol or you can slug. No one tells you to pick them up.
Times 4.

@Hopesfall said:
No, it's trash to face as killer.
I could do a full chase and hook someone else, and still get hit by that stupid ######### because it lasts so long
or just run to a locker, such strategery
multiply this garbage by 4, great perk
This sounds to me like you tunnel someone purposely off the hook.
Times 4.

I agree but at the same time during certain scenarios it screws over the killer when it isn't their fault. Also, during endgame, DS is pretty much a free win and the Killer can't do anything about it.
@ClickyClicky said:
It probably shouldn’t be a skillcheck. Not very good at anti-tunnel if the player misses it. Or at least it shouldn’t deactivate the perk entirely.
These two statements contradict each other.
@Salty_Pearl It's not a free escape, the players has to miss the skillcheck in order for the killer to obtain the kill.
-
Yes.
I don't mind being slugged when my DS is activated. It's the downside of the perk.
Any killer who willingly opens a locker if I'm inside it and I have DS activated, gets stunned for 5 seconds is well deserved. I didn't ask to be tunneled, this perk is at my disposal, it's the only weapon provided to us to send a message out to killers to let them know that "Hey, I wasn't the only one you could have gone for."

Ah yes, have someone disagree with you and you immediately shut them down and tell them they are "talking nonsense".
You've stated nothing factual of WHY she needs to be fixed. Most of the community enjoys where she's at minus the few individuals. Is she bugged? To a degree yes and everyone can agree on that that. But too the point she needs a rework? Nah.
That's where you're wrong. The community believes she has been over nerfed and did not need a Red Bar for her blinks.
The nerf and rework was going to be to her addons, that's it.

You forgot me, I main Nurse on XB1 and I'm pretty decent with her. 😁
I can't even call myself a Nurse main anymore, she's my girl, but other killers like Huntress, Ghostface, Oni can achieve the same results with lesser effort. It's so messed up.

I really have no clue anymore. From my experience leveling a character from 1-50 i have got around 5 one time, a single one another, and i have got 0 a few times. I think it's just RNG with rare offerings/add-ons which would explain why my survivors tend to get less.
It's not RNG, take random Addon, Item, in your bloodweb. How many times will you see it again?
I believe it's purposely made to be above any rare item in the game.
-
I feel I'm the only Nurse player left.
Sucks the almost entire Nurse player base died off.
gg devs, you got what you wanted.
-
They're of Green Rarity....but I feel as if they're purposely scattered.
I see at least 1 in 30 bloodwebs.

Thanks for notifying me about the Pig's many nerfs. I had stopped playing the game because I lost my disc for it and I didn't read the patch notes since I didnt play the game so there was no reason to. I think the devs could use a different JigSaw puzzle instead of the bear traps.
4,110 votes and 457 comments so far on RedditI didn't realize it was almost a full year ago.

What the hell.
I'm literally praying for you. Please be well.

I would love to see her recent pick rate and kill rate. "That's just because she's the hardest killer to learn..." Yeah yeah, she is also the most frustrating, most inconsistent and most bugged killer in game. Yes you can 4k with her, but more often than not you will not even 2k against good survivors, even when you know how to use her.
Agreed. I'd Love to see her current kill rate as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't know that pig received a Nerf already, I just dont like the beartraps is all.
Yeah, back in the day no matter what, if you had a Pig Trap on your head and you went through the exit gates, your head would pop.
Now, if she puts one on after all gens are done, you can skip through the exit gates and nothing will happen to you.
Perks like Sloppy Butcher used to work with her Dash Ability, not anymore.
Only buffs she's received were to her Blood Point gain, they upped her Dash Bloodpoint gain from 250 to 500 per hit.
-
Because Billy's M2 is completely different than his Hammer which is a Basic Attack.
Same with Pig, her Dash is completely different input of command.
-
My Lord, imagine if it didn't have the 3 second requirement.
-
Okay, buffing Wraith is good but nerfing Pig is bad.
She's already received plenty of undeserved nerfs. Reddit went insane last time she was nerfed for absolutely no reason.
Old DS was toxic, not because of the Obsession running DS, but the fact that you were so close to hooking someone, a hidden DS would strike you and would lose your snowball effect.
Camping is a good complain in my opinion.
And I'm also waiting for Cross Play and Cross Save.
-
It's one the greatest, most unfair aspects of this game.
Being camped and tunneled. We all go through it, and I'm sorry you had to go through that.
-
I thought a killer hitting a generator regressed it by 5%.
I now know, after 3 years of playing, it does nothing but start the regression. It does nothing else.
-
Urban Evasion. Sprint Burst. DS. Self Care and Chill.
Survivor is stupid easy.
-
I'm sorry, he and Hag share the same Terror Radius.
You can hear Hag from a mile away, you cannot hear his TERROR RADIUS from that far. You hear barely audible music following his terror radius.
He's not a stealth killer, but he does have a broken terror radius.
-
With Nurse, it sucks. I hate it, I can only use at most 1 item in 1 entire Bloodweb, the rest is trash.
With Huntress, I can use almost everything. I enjoy spending Bloodpoints on Huntress.
On Meg, I don't care. I go item-less anyways.

Peanits said he could possibly present it to the higher ups, at least as a response to my inquiry when i @ him in another thread...but he stated he could not make any guarantees...
i think they heard the forums, good and bad and came to a decision on bloodpoints, and i feel they came to a good conclusion. They were under no obligation to do this, but they did do this 🤘
Yeah, I remember that he stated that.
-
Oof, I get that feeling as well.
It's okay though, some understand and some have fun.

That's a good question. 2x BP is great and all, but a lot of people jump on that and farm as much as possible. Farming matches are fine if you're just after the points, but they really ruin the game for people who want to play normally. It's not a big deal usually since they're only four days long, but since this one is three weeks long, we don't want it to get in the way of normal gameplay for that long.
I remember you stated you'll pitch the Bloodpoint even idea to the devs.
Did this have anything to do with you?
I feel like the forum community has much to thank you.
-
The trap isn't meant to kill anyone, it's meant to stall the game as long as possible.
I just wish it worked in End Game.
-
Killer, get Merciless.
Survivor, escape, even with a key.
Like...I don't understand how getting a Merciless is still a thing for a killer to get his Adept.

BBQ and Chili is completely out of hand and overpowered. I am going endless waves of matches against killers ALL of whom take it. THEN, survivors getting lucky if we even get ONE generator down.
The reading aura portion of the perk is absurd and should be removed. The aura reading after a hook creates a snow ball effect for the next hook, eventually leading to a win for the killer.
It is also completely unaballanced. One perk should not instantly lead to 4 kills and zero generators.
Don't like it?
- Get Distortion and stop complaining.
- Hide in a locker and stop complaining.
- Get behind a generator and stop complaining.
- Get near the killer before he hooks someone and stop complaining.
- Run one way for 4 seconds and then turn around and run the opposite way to juke the killer, then stop complaining.
- Or just go really, really, really far away from the killer and the killer might not even bother going for you because you're too far, and stop complaining aftewards.
BBQ Has Plenty Of Counters.
