is dead hard sweaty and toxic?

never understood why people seem to think that survivors running dead hard is sweaty and toxic especially if a killer is bloodlusting, what is a couple more seconds or feet in a chase when the killer is going to catch right back up to them. if anything perks like balanced landing and lithe would be sweaty and toxic to implement when a killer is just about to get you in a chase because you can actually break the chase and reset a killer's bloodlust.

  • No. Exhaustion perks are overpowered, but that's on the devs for keeping them overpowered, not the survivors for using them.

As long as this game's design remains fundamentally broken, who can blame someone for taking every legal advantage offered to them? Of course the survivors want to survive, and they'll use whatever it takes, DH included.

  • No, because it's the only exhaustion perk that might as well read.. "TREMENDOUSLY increased chance to not work and exhaust you anyway."

THIS is the reason why Dead Hard isn't so strong at the moment.

Stick with Sprint Burst, it's always reliable.

  • I find it extremely toxic when it's used against Nurses. But then again, I just feel bad for those bugged bastards.

  • It's not toxic.

at its worst, it's one of those perks where one side feels like they were out played by a perk and not the person.

Like how some people feel like they were out played by getting insta downed by NOED, having a survivor "press E to outplay" can invoke a similar feeling.

but honestly, just use whatever you want.

  • It's not toxic, but I'm probably going to think less of a survivor if they're constantly mis-playing loops and getting bailed out by an E key. It certainly makes my life a whole lot more difficult on Nurse if a whole team has Dead Hard and they wait until I swing. Just think of what adding 10 seconds minimum to every chase can do. Like I said, it's more deflating than anything else. From my perspective, I have to have muscle memory and predict movement to a tee, and all of that gets undone with a press of a button. Outplayed for sure.

  • its not toxic

its a buggy mess that, against decent killers, only works when used for distance

even then, you usually go down while exhausted anyway

  • No. And I say that as an evil killer main. The only toxic things survivors can do in game are body blocking other survivors, teabagging the killer, and constantly clicking their damn flashlights. None of which aren't that bad.

The real toxicity is the harassment and insults a killer can face post game.
