I agree but killers need to see the survivors in the lobby so they can know what items the survivors are bringing
Survivors should be able to see what killer and what addons they're bringing as well.

It definitely can and does happen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ARvCdB5plw&feature=emb_logo
Can't even count how many times I've escaped at the end game myself, just because I had DS equipped and there's literally absolutely nothing a killer can do against it. Any perk that makes the survivor literally undefeatable in a certain circumstance as broad as "reach end game" is too strong, imo. Perks are perks -- they shouldn't be that strong in any circumstance. Not without some massive negative downside.
At the very least, it should deactivate once exit gates are powered so it's not a literal free escape.
The second you picked up that Kate instead of going for the uninjured Meg already told me you played that VERY wrong.
Accept your losses, you could have ended with a 2k but you decided to pick Kate up knowing very well she was just unhooked.

Not that I think DS is OP (locker DS is obnoxious, that's about it) but you're pretty dense if you don't see how the very threat of DS affects a match.
You're attempting to preach to a killer main who doesn't see an issue with DS.
I don't get baited, I know who I keep tabs on.
When a DS does rarely hit me, I move on because that was MY mess up.

He said prove you have games where multiple people have it active at the same time and you came back saying 1 person has it in nearly every game which is not your original gripe of multiple people having it active.
I would say you don't have it in nearly every game either, you just think you do because ypure so fixated on it ruining your game. My experience recently of having a lot of games with no obsession is why I call bullshit on this. The downside of no DS in the room is that killers tunnel the ######### out of people knowing they have nothing to stop them.
You honestly took the words right out of my mouth.

What are you on about? Changing my story? It's a very common perk and at least one person in every game has it. That's because it's a common perk. So that would also mean that there are a lot of games where multiple people have it.
My issue, is that there is a current and obvious witch hunt against Decisive Strike. Not everyone runs it, not everyone uses it. But the second someone doesn't allow a killer to tunnel they get whiny and come to the forums and complain on how they lost a kill because of 1 person running it.
Is it that difficult to keep tabs on 1 person that has it? Just slug them, it's ONE person.
Can you count to 60? Can you move on to the next survivor instead of the one trying to get your attention by jumping in and out of a locker to try to bait the DS? See, it's the survivors job to waste your time, if you choose to down them AND pick them up, that's your fault.
Their doing their part.

It's in the majority of games i play at the very least. 1 person almost always has it.
1 person isn't
@Steah said:
If DS is suppose to be an anti tunneling perk, then multiple decisive strikes should not be active at the same time
This.
You're changing your story now.
And what's wrong with DS if 1 person has it? How is this ONE person ruining your gameplay?
How are you allowing this ONE person to use their DS against you?

I think we should have a way to end the match that doesn't require everyone or escaping or killed, it would fix things like bugs that survivors don't die and even after endgame collapse. Here how I think how it should work:
*The timer start when the match start.
*When active the timer will run 20 minutes, if the match don't end in this time, it will end automatically.
*When the timer ends, no one wins or loses, and no one receive extra points (escape points or everyone killed points) since the killer didn't completed his objectives that is kill the survivors but the survivors didn't made their objective that is escape.
*When all the gens are done it will be added more 5 minutes to the timer.
*When the end game collapse start it will be added more 5 minutes to the timer.
lol Freddy Gamers will hate this.
They need 60 minutes to kill 4 survivors with every slowdown addon and perk they can get their hands on.
I like it.
-
Prove that you have multiple Decisive Strikes active at once.
It rarely happens. And I doubt you're getting lobbies with 2+ people running it because I run SWF through the DBD Discord and not many people even consider using it and/or not many people have it.

i stopped playing dbd because I constantly kept going against either baby survivors or baby killers and its so boring but thats not the only reason, bugs and sound issues makes dbd boring too.
I was camped about 5 times last night.
A lot of matches people DC'ed. I had a Death Slinger match where 2 DC'ed.
I'm Rank 1 and I hate Depipping, a Black Pip is okay but this is ridiculous.
Both sides needs to figure it out.

I'm sure many will welcome change, you can't pull yourself off a hook twice.
So why not?

Sorry, but Pressing E to escape a situation when YOU mess up shouldn't be the killer's fault.
I don't mind the Exhaustion addons. I'm slowly starting to steer away from them.

There was a matchmaking fix on Call of Duty today.
They compensated their community with a 3 day Double Exp, Double exp for Battlepass and Double exp for Weapon Exp for another 3 days because of the complete mess up AND they gave us Shipment 24/7.
It's a big deal at the moment and the community is extremely grateful.
Where is OUR compensation?
I've missed out on at least, 150k, maybe 200k bloodpoints on Huntress because of this.
I will not be playing Dead by Daylight for the next 3 days.
-
@bjorksnas said:
Even after hitting people with hatches they were still able to use exhaustion perks while they should be exhausted due to the addon
They've been working fine for me. They stop working once they get hooked, the Exhaustion wears off.
Do you have video?

Because the game doesn't revolve around survivors getting free unhooks.
It's risk/reward situation.

I've gotten camped for the past 4 games, just now.
I'm getting tired of this. I'm about to stop playing, stop buying anything until they address camping and tunneling.
DS isn't even enough anymore, this influx of camping and tunneling. And I'm all for killer buffs and gameplay that benefits the killer but this is just taking advantage of a system that's already hand feeding them.

Skins don't matter if the game is barely functioning with ducktape for code. BHVR really needs too stop being lazy and spend a good few months fixing their spaghetti code. Amount of bugs that appear in every single update is just stupid at this point.
Here are more cosmetics.
Buy our Battlepass.

How do you have enough keys to bring one everygame?
I either do not use them during the match, or use them enough to replenish them in the Bloodweb.
-
I hop on Call of Duty.
It's Shoot the Ship, so 2 very small maps and I just have fun and laugh hysterically.
I do this for about 5 hours, and it's not because Dead by Daylight stresses me out, I don't want Dead by Daylight to stress me out so I quickly switch games. I have so much fun.

Dunno what you mean by that. If you mean in terms of difficulty? Sure once you learn blink distances and you're not getting ######### over by the game there's not much to her after that except knowing survivor pathing and having good reaction times. But in terms of effectiveness? She's still by far the best killer, fixing all of her bugs will just exaggerate that even more.
She's not the best killer, please stop spreading that lie when Freddy can get easy 4's along with Doctor who every time he loses a survivor he can find 3 more by the push of a button.
These servers really dropped her down in Tiers, she was a great killer when it was the killer's connection but now becaus
I blink in place sometimes WITH Range addons because the servers don't recognize the blink.
And on top of that "MISSING" a grab already screws your momentum and it builds you up for failure.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWNXAy-8mgUI have 2 Nurse clips where my grab was stolen from me because of these servers.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
I mean, I guess? She's not as difficult to play as people make her out to be but in the context of this game she's the hardest. The difficulty ratings should be changed anyway. For example I would put Billy in the medium/hard difficulty, Wraith as easy, Trapper as Medium, Freddy as easy, Michael medium...etc
Take away her bugs, her glitches, and you'll have a B Class Killer at best.

When I'm Killer.
- Absolutely no camping, regardless if exit gates are powered.
- Absolutely no tunneling, it's why I don't have a problem with DS because it never, EVER affects me.
- Try my best not to slug for the 4k, a 3k is good enough.
- No NOED. Ever.
For Survivor.
- Don't kick the killer when they're already down.
- Leave the game when the gates are powered and don't waste time.
- Don't t-bag at the exit gates, unless the killer has NOED then I t-bag until I'm dead.
- If the killer was a complete douche, I'll use my DS at the exit gates, get where the camera is facing when he's stunned, T-Bag and leave.
- Always die for randoms, I'll use my med-kit, my syringes, do everything you can for your rando teammates.
I think I have a couple of more but, I'm getting sleepy. It's 5AM and I'm heading to bed.

-
This is my loadout, with key.
-
I legally without breaking ToS depipped my way out of Red Ranks. It's not worth it, killers get punished the better they do.
-
The funny thing is, killers hate it when it's used on them but they don't learn.
They don't know how NOT to tunnel, so we use it, they complain.
STOP tunneling and we'll stop using it.

It'll probably get Minimum Throw Requirements like Deathslingers Iri.

I haven't played her since the new update, but hopefully she feels more satisfying to play as, because before even when I make a good read it always felt so bland since the rework. Though I am happy to at least hear one of her issues on console have been resolved, which was turning speed, though I never really had that much of a problem doing the 360 turning hit at the end of a blink it will likely nevertheless be more polished.
Yeah, console has been improved. You can backwards blink now and it feels natural on console.
I just 4'ked on Azervo's Resting Place, I might tip toe out of brown ranks for once. I've always had fun playing at Brown ranks and staying there.

I feel like he should be able to hit you over a pallet when you get a shot in. Huntress is able to throw over the pallet. Why not deathslinger? The animation should also be him using his spear so it doesn't look clunky. Same goes for when he hits you over a window after a shot. It looks so weird.
Because survivors need counterplay. If you can just hit through windows (which he can already) where's the counterplay when you drop a pallet?
It's not balanced, the survivor sacrifices the pallet for the security of not being hit over it.

I made a couple thousand posts about making Nurse better for new players, but the devs never responded to any of them, you can safely assume the devs won't ever do anything about it, just like how everyone thinks Nurse is A ok. (Even through they don't actually play her ever...)
Yeah, she's still buggy. She's nowhere near fine and I believe she's been left abandoned just like they wanted her to be. It's honestly painful and embarrassing to see your first DLC killer in such ruin.

who the heck complains about camping and tunneling in dbd 2020?? You only complain about it when you get downed in 5 seconds buying no time for your teammates to do gens. Simply get better at the game and don’t complain to devs to ruin the game even more to veteran player.
Camping and Tunneling complaints have been active on the forums for years.
I'm not defending it, but it's scummy and it feels awful when it happens to you.

For Moris you have to chase and hook people.
For Keys you have to do gens but you can also just hide the whole match, dont do anything and just wait till everyone dies, wait for Killer close the hatch just to open it again.
Yea as a Killer you can tunnel and too.
Both are equally unfair and need to be changed.
You honestly think people with keys are hiding the entire time?
Please stop this lie, my God.
I bring a key almost every match, it's not to hide the entire time, it's to secure my escape if I'm the last one alive, and even then it's not guaranteed, it's a chance to escape. You're telling me how people with keys play when you're speaking to a person who uses keys quite frequently.
My God.

YES!!!!!!!

@EvilJoshy said:
Put skill checks on a key then we'll consider it.
Not anywhere near the same.
Mori cuts 2/3rds of a survivors game play.
Key requires gens to be done. If all survivors have made it, then the key is rendered useless.
A mori stays active no matter what.
