I'll barely have 9k shards in time for her or I'd be all in. The geisha one is cool, though I hope we get less revealing and more varied cosmetics. Some kind of undead samurai armor would be badass. Her hair could do/be some interesting stuff in other looks.

You make it sound like these splinters take up serious bloodweb real estate. At P3-50 I am barely getting one or two every maybe 20 webs. I don't even know the last time I saw one, and no, they don't eat up all your other ultra rares. They're also pretty neat to use and get to try out the killers you don't have. I've yet to get one for the Clown so I'm even assuming they don't do them anymore.redsopine1 said:

This seems like a case where asking for more diversity is a win-win for everyone. -
I still really want The Thing and think it would be a super creative final licensed killer. Either finding a way to make a shapeshifter work in the world of SWF, or just saying screw it and doing it anyway. The fun that could add to the game would be worth the trouble. If we get another licensed killer I think it'll be the last licensed one for the game, so hopefully it'll be awesome.

I saw some people saying they didn't care about what ethnicity a new survivor is. Why not?
I like the survivors but if we're getting a new one obviously someone who looks different from what we have already is good. A new Latino or Indian survivor would be dope. -

I'm surprised nobody's said the obvious truth here. Dedicated servers are going to be easy to get going, and sustain, when your player base is dead. The F13 team even said since they can't produce new content they would focus on fixing the game and doing things like this.
I'm absolutely for DBD getting them too, but this game has always been P2P. Going to dedicated servers isn't as simple as plugging something in and flipping a switch. Then I think about how many more players DBD has and how easily the login server gets overloaded during something like 2.0 or the free Plus month... I hope they do it, but I'm not going to act like Behavior is some evil stepmother locking us in the attic. B-but she took our cosmetic monies! -

I don't know why everyone is losing their ######### over not having a date. Last time announcing the release caused a big problem when it wasn't ready for all platforms. It seems like they're playing it safe and not announcing anything until they're ready, and that's not a bad thing.

I love using Scratched Mirror on him, never leave T1 but the aura reading is fun. I definitely think it has to do with the new movie. Another trailer dropped a few days ago.

The devs don't need to address any of this. They're busy actually working on the thing everyone is posting about here daily. This is a problem with the players, not the game. Could changes to the game improve some of it? Sure, I'd bet some fixes to these are already underway--but they're trying to find new ways for people to have fun, instead of new things to whine about.

When he hits T2 he gets better lunge range but a larger terror radius, when the music goes full Halloween and he hits T3 he can down you in one hit, vault faster through windows, and has an even bigger terror radius.

This is unsportsmanlike behaviour and definitely worth a bann.Now you have to realize that the devs actually have no tools to punish such guys. They simply didnt take care implementing a system that lets them bann these kind of people on PS4. You can only call them ignorant or incompetent for that, they very well know how toxic their game is and releasing it on another platform where you cant hand out banns yet....... well who could have predicted that thats a bad idea.
Calling the devs incompetent over not being able to ban people on PSN or Xbox Live is silly. Those are things Sony and Microsoft handle respectively. Sony isn't going to issue a ban for some teabagging or BMing, even griefing (which is what this is) could be a gray area for them, but you bet they'll deal with hackers. If I were OP I would contact one of them and explain the situation calmly and politely, and have the video ready. That's all you can do. -
I guess I don't get why anyone is up in arms about her clothing (or lack thereof) because she's a dismembered corpse who has her limbs floating in place. The way she jerks around, her hair floats like she's underwater, and the sounds she makes like rigor has set in but it's not stopping her... It really doesn't do it for me. Saying she's over sexualized is like telling me that corpse on CSI is over sexualized. Since she's literally a spirit what use does she have for clothes?
On the other hand the handwaving about "those kooky SJWs" is annoying. I can easily see her being stuck in the clothes she died in, that's perfectly valid and I'm sure there are some good points. Where I'm from people are free to protest. I may not agree, I may think it's a weird hill to die on, but it's your right. -

Sorry if I wrote that in a confusing way, I meant body blocking someone in as killer and then AFKing, effectively holding the game hostage. I think I did use all the correct terms here, and I would say all those behaviors are pretty toxic. Btw being afk is not bannable as long as you dont hold the game hostage, bodyblocking survivors is onyl bannable if you hold them hostage.
Definitely, I can't believe I left that out. I'm on PS4 so I guess I think of that as a Sony problem, but that's a big one.And saying hateful stuff In the end game chat or sending it thru the message feature on console is toxic.

As far as I'm concerned the only truly toxic behavior in game is hacking, cheating by abusing exploits, body blocking survivors and AFKing, or holding the game hostage indefinitely as a survivor. That last one can be hard to quantify but usually the people who do it are happy to tell you they're wasting your time on purpose.

The game would die without SWF. I don't like dealing with obvious voice comms as killer myself, but I'd rather still have a game to play. What's more, I solo queue as survivor 95% or the time and see people dodge for no reason. Not a single flashlight or P3 Claudette in sight. I'm assuming they think the same as you, that it's a SWF group, but outside of the high ranks that's just wrong. I regularly pop in at the same time as everybody else because, I assume anyway, that's just how the queue works.
Even if they are stupid good at the game, and coordinated, it's still good practice. So go git gud and stop jumping to conclusions about every match.

I love DBD and the horror movie style it's got going for it. Big horror fan. I like sci-fi too, but in comparison it's really blah. We already have a million sci-fi shooters, the only thing it has to separate itself is the asymmetrical gameplay--which is cool, but not enough to justify an early access $30 purchase. Last time I bought something in early access it was Paragon, and everybody knows how that turned out. I have no love for that business model, and I'll have to vote with my wallet on this one.
