Ah, the beautiful enigma of hidden MMR.
Everyone can say they're high MMR, and no one else can prove otherwise.
I don't think killers want to be high mmr, because you get burnt out much quicker going against good survivors. They suck the fun out of everything.

Why do you care what enemy team says?
Play who you want, how you want and with perks you want.
Ah yes, because that works so good, telling from the daily threads about toxicitiy. Ignoring a problem does not fix it. The devs have to do something about.
-
Because if you pick a strong killer, the same people would complain about, how easy it is to win with that killer and how unfair it is.
You can't make it righ for everyone. The post game chat has to just be deleted, so you can't even get curious o what survivors or killers have to say after the game.
-
I don't see any difference from the previous system. I play against bad survivors and good survivors with different coloured ranks.
-
The amount of hits i got in with nurse, while i ######### up a blink i wanted to go elsewhere, is ridicolous xd
The best way to learn to play against nurse is, to play with nurse.
-
He is pretty strong with iri stone on the majority of maps.
-
I encountered one hacker in the last several dozen games and i still can count the amount of clear cheaters on one hand in 2 years.
Dead Hard is the most crucial thing, that should be balanced. It's way too strong for an exhaustion perk. Imagine, you could use sprint burst with one button press.
-
They changed DS rightfully, but should have nerfed this OP perk to the ground as well. It should be token based, like 2 uses max in one trial. It's just too strong against most killers. There is no skill involved, to use it to make it to a pallet or window.
Imagine you could use sprint burst with one button press at will. Ridicoulus.

god forbid people wanna play with their mates,
yeah it's pretty unbalanced but maybe don't take the game serious enough then? and don't get bothered by stupid bm lol
Because that works so good doesn't it? Daily complains about toxicity. People get triggered of this behaviour, you can't argue against it. It has to be done something about it.
-
Like huntress, if you keep missing too many shots, you will lose the game. You don't have any good map pressure. Yes, you can shoot through windows, but i would rather go for Nemesis. At least he has a bit more map information from the zombies and he can hit survivors easier.
-
My experience with RPD was, that neither the killer nor the survivors know where the damn stairs to the second level are xd
Playing a Pig / Wraith with aura reading makes this map pretty auto-win for them.
-
Good idea, to create a perk, you can use infinite times and the killer can't destroy the totems.
-
Yes, this damn discord swf cheaters.

@GuyFawx said:
You should almost always prestige killers so their ultra rares spawn more frequently
Makes sense, because the ultra rare are by no means the best choice on many killers.
-
Don't understand the MMR anyway. With my beginner Nurse i get average survivors at best and with Plague, a killer i have played as much, i get way better survivors.

The way Pop works encourages you to leave the hook and find a gen. It's an anti-camp perk.
Pop is a strong perk and it always will be. It has a drawback in that it's a gen-kicky perk, and kicking gens will always feel like a waste of time, but of all of them, Pop gives you the best value.
It's a "strong" perk, because you only have one good alternative, that is high risk. That is a pretty bad balancing and has to change.

They recently nerfed the timer window you have before it runs out for... reasons? They're certainly not going to give it a gigantic buff like no timer at all.
Yes, because behaviour does everything right and not that they fail major in many aspects.
But if you want to keep on the tunneling and camping meta, you can let it as it is.
-
Have to be honest, i have yet to see a game with survivors, that actually use them properly.
-
Me too

@Irisora said:
Twins aren't that bad, their camping potential its still good. There are far worse killers that are really outdated like Legion, Myers and others that has been gutted by the devs like Billy (RIP) and Pig.
If camping is mandatory, the killer sucks. It sucks for the killer to use this cheap tactic and it sucks the fun out of the survivors.
-
He is trash. He would be good, if the lacaration meter would never lower until the survivor loses one health state. If you are at a reasonable distance to actually hit the knives through all that obstacles in every damn map, you could just swing m1.
Ghost Face stalk meter does not disappear over time and he can down someone with one hit. It's not even hard to do it right. No reason Trickster has to be that bad.

That’s not really fair for the people that bought the stuff with real money tbh. They’d have to refund everyone to make that fair which is just not a good idea because it will lose them money and it will take up way too much time to do.
The world is unfair, deal with it
-
Can't see any difference right now. Killers i performed well before the mmr i do it still and killers were most people struggle are the same.
It's really annoying if certain addons (like night shroud recovery) or perks are almost mandatory for some killers to not lose games right away. That would be less of a problem, if you just had a infinite supply of them. But nope, you have 90% of addons you never use and you are forced to play another killer to get the BP for the killer you actually want to play.
Best example is, how extremely better Pig is with amanda's letter, compared to not be able to see through walls. If you crouch behind a obstacle for an ambush attack, the smart suvivors just run away in the opposite direction, because they know you can't catch em. Without the addon, you lose time before you realize what happend, with aura reading you know.
-
Wasn't a good solution. The letter should have no downsides. I mean, Wraith has no downsides, he is even super fast and with the silent bell, the slower uncloak speed doesn't matter in most maps. Pig is slow and with the letter she only has one trap, max 2 with an addon.
Sure, you can use the letter and the tape, so you have at least 4 survivors with traps. But the traps do not start pinging until a gen is done and i m pretty sure, people just remove the traps, because they know, you don't have anymore or max 1.

If u want to discuss it, Stop spamming same topics and go under bigger one. They are not going anywhere. Game itself doesn't promotes or has anything to do with NTFS.
So they don't violate steam rules.
Exactly. There is no money to make for BHVR if steam drops the game and the customers would be rightfully furious and the game would be basically dead. Nobody in his right mind (besides addicted persons) would buy all the stuff again on EPIC.
-
Don't care as long as they don't sell stuff as NFT through steam, because that is actually banable and i never would buy the stuff again.
-
Well, CoconutRTS played Huntress for 2k+ hours and he still loses sometimes without killing anybody. His aim is pretty insane. Some games are just unwinable on the wrong map / with the wrong killer.
-
What exactly is the bad thing about it? I don't understand it properly.
-
The PTB is down or? Otherwise i could just try it.
-
Some games are just meant to lose. If survivors appear spread out and at least 3 can hop on 3 different gens, you have no chance without corrupt that at least 2 gens will be done when you hook one.
That happens to really good players as well, but that does not mean you can not win anymore, just that you have much more pressure to get things done.

Well to be honest it's never going to be completely balanced. While I don't agree with ALOT of the balancing decisions they've made in the past, its no easy task to do.
Something that doesn't help is that there still isn't a set win condition, so what do you balance around? The 2 kills 2 escapes method is just really flawed with how RNG based the game is.
Balance around the things people hate? I mean, things that pop up daily?
Like camping / tunneling or keys? They nerfed mori, rightfully, because it sucked the fun out. The same is with keys and camping / tunneling. That problem is not new. They must have some sort of ideas to change that in a way, killers don't get too high disadvantage and survivors can not exploit it.
-

I picked this game up never intending for it to be a competitive game. It's 1v4 where two sides have two different objectives, there's just no way that can be balanced, so i never expected the competitive playerbase to be as large as it is.
What? It's clear it's competetive if you play against others.
-
Because his new cloaked movespeed makes him more oppressive and if he uses all seeing + silent bell, you most likeley get a hit in or even a grab. Some maps are bad in that regard if they can see you coming, but otherwise, wraith is exactly what a stealth killer should be. You should never feel safe and get jump scared.

Yes, basicly. But why would you have a problem with third party software used to gain advantages if you just do the same anyway?
I think it's a bit different. One, the bad lighing, just sucks the fun out of the game, if you can not even see something in front of you.
The other thing could be easily fixed, just by seperating SWF and Solo play.

Arguably you just cheat, because the lighting and color scheme is there to allow for stealth play. Using 3rd party software to disable that is just cheating. However, in this game a lot of cheats are allowed, so nothing will happen anyway. But i hope you never get angry at people using stretched resolution, because thats about the same.
You mean cheating, like using discord to communicate in a game, that has no ingame communication? Yeah, seems right.
-
What is a stealth outfit? I played the game only with nvidia freestyle. I can see clear as day with my settings. I once played it without and could see like nothing, much difference and i hated it.
-
a) Nerf Killers that are allready B-Tier or worse
or
b) Learn to loop
It's not like, Wraith is a invisible bubba that can down you with one hit. Good players have no problem to outplay him.

I watched the 5th anniversary of the stream where they mentioned about the new "ban" system. From what I understand it is not like the immediate "autoban" but more likely it is a system where if a player recieves more report it is more like "Let's first look at that person cause he has X amount of report" thing.
What they mean by auto-ban is that normally their customer service was looking each report one by one. So imagine a file of reports with dates on it like for example "Match 245 at 27.05.2021 at 15:00 Player CheesyGuy reported for unsportsmanlike" then the explanation of the reporter came. After their new feature instead of customer service read every report one by one, the system that is named "auto-ban" will read and highlight them. So that means after that system there will be a screen like for example "CheesyGuy reported 450 times for X,Y,Z reasons" and when the customer services saw that they will take easier action. Because now instead of seen each report one by one now they can see total reports in one segmentation and can act more precisely. That is the feature they were talking about. No online game would leave a ban decision to an AI( Artifical Intelligence) because it is a precise topic and system can make mistakes even small chance of mistakes. What they do in here is by getting the help of the system they will read the reports much more faster and they will be manage to get who is reported more in a day, week or a month so that they can follow the most reported people at the game.
I hope it is clear guys.😀
Those devs have really issues. If you drop a bomb like that, you have to explain it right away how they mean it. It was clear, that the forum will go apeshit if they explain like nothing. ULTRAFAIL

Nice song from the cranberries.
-
Good that people are so nice in these games and won't report you just for losing, or not giving hatch, or hitting that hatchet because a bug you couldn't do anything about or or or
Good luck for those people still playing this mess!
-
Hmm, considering that Ruin is the only good slow-down-perk, the game will become even more sweaty for killers and the tunneling / camping will increase.
-
People are salty.
They will report you, even if you played fair and non-toxic, just because you escaped or as killer, did not give hatch. Everything, aware or not, could lead to a report. Other just report you, because they want to troll.
How long does it take, before a big streamer like tru3 gets banned? Bet he will be banned in less than a week when this gets live.
This company is unbelievable.

Trapper is extremely map dependent.
Some map like Game, Hawkin..have to place to trap. AutoHeaven is considered as weakest open map for Trapper.
Some map like MacMillan, Yamaoka are good for him. Asylum and new Coldwind are madness OP with him, traps go invisible in many places
The Game and Lery's suck. Hawkin has at least on top of stairs positions. But with iri stone you don't care if they disarm it.
-
Play both sides or shut up is my opinion. If you don't play both sides, how should you get the full perspective? You have only bias.
Nerf dead hard
-
This dense survivors that played 200 hours killer think they know anything about the other side. You guys look so stupid i hope you know that.
-
Nerf it allready. It was more urgent than DS ever was. It's so a outright broken perk.

I rarely win vs them.
Partially because map rng and teammates.
But counting exploits and the average blight build. I'd say he's the 3rd best killer. 2nd best if the Lucky break change arrives and kills spirit.
It's odd, that i rarely see good spirits that appear on point if you are not injured. That killer is much harder to play than people might think. I can't play her.
-
Now loading, nvidia freestyle.
-
Blight is still not really good. If the survivors run tight around corners / obstacles, you can't possibly get them with your power without thinking in advance. I still never encountered a blight that was really good.
