Is not fair a map with 25 pallets like Puzzle.
Is not fair a map like Cowshed.
Is not fair a map like Badham.
Is not fair to play coms SWF.
But it stills in the game, so end first with this unfair advantages and then fix the problems that this advantages creates.
LoL so you want to add more unfair mechanics instead of fixing the other ones?
-
It's not fair for a good survivor to die from first hook if killer couldn't catch them after hooking 3 others

idk if it gets saved if you dont get hit a really good question
Yes it's going to make it broken if that's the case it's basically longer DS if you get unhooked and tunneled it will trigger once like old DS if you don't get tunneled then it gets saved for late game same as old DS it can grant you a free escape but even better since 80 seconds is a lot and killers might not catch up to you quickly so hitting you near the exit gates means a free escape anyway.
Like ######### they nerfed DS but reworked another perk to work exactly like old DS?

Confirmed by devs Its one use only it be more op if it was unlimited
So basically a weaker DS that can work in end game if you never hit anyone after they get unhooked? if it triggers only after you hit a survivor does that mean survivors will rush to do one of actions that will pause it = it won't trigger through the remaining 80 seconds which means it can be saved for the second hook ? it's pretty flexible I don't know what to think about it yet.
-
Isn't the perk supposed to work every time you get unhooked ? no one said it's a one time perk.
-
It's a new hag you can beat her easily just do the gens and stop complaining, randoms will always do such things because the game design allows it.

Dudes what are you talking about ? New Dead Hard is broken. I can already think of the standoffs you can do just standing on a window.
Faking a window or a pallet will give you a bigger speed if used properly.Survivors can body block killers on door and take a hit.
Pretend to get stuck. Like so many mindgames you can do with that and get a longer distance afterwards.
I honestly like it.
You're assuming everyone has a god tier react time to killer swings ? with all the latency inconveniences most survivors will miss it and get hit instead. What made distance dead hard more popular is that you can use it to reach safety rather than to predict hits which is way harder.
-
The trick is to monitor the her first chase of she downs someone quickly then she's good and you lost the game already and of she takes forever to down someone while injured or on chase it means you can win.
-
I had a long 0 nurses streak that lasted for 2 month it was weird I thought it's a bug or something I couldn't believe it literally 2 months of playing survivor I never played against any nurses until the 3rd month I played against like 2 when dredge update was on.

That's what I'm always doing. That's what gets me nervous. I have to pay more attention and sometimes it still doesn't help as they can come from behind something if they are smart.
That's how I play Ghost Face effectively too if you're patient you can take the long road to come up from an angle they're not excepting it's always satisfying to get gen grabs 😂.

I didn't say the game was scary. I don't know what you mean by everyone either. Not everyone does. I mean the majority don't. The stealth killers do make me very nervous though is what I was saying. It feels different when they could just pop out of nowhere.
The trick is don't focus fully on doing the gen and keep your camera moving around scouting for stealth killers and that reduces the jump scares.
-
I don't know why everyone is scared of DBD it's not scary at all.. It's horror themed but doesn't fell that way it's more like a tag & hide and seek simulator, the engine and the graphics and the gameplay isn't scary and knowing that the killer is just another play makes it less scary too.

Nurse is way more harder than blight to play + if you see a good nurse that destroys survivors in 2 min, then means it's a nurse main and with a lot of hours in the game, and guess what, she's winning without relying on sliding on walls like mr. blighty boi.
Everyone knows that and if you say it's not true then means you don't know what you're talking about. If you fk up 3 blinks as nurse at medium/high level, game's over. But is not the same about blight, you can make a lot of mistakes and still can win due to his medium ceiling skill and with the 93943 tokens of rushes + addons it doesn't ever matter how many times he fk's up.
Nurse and Billy are the most hard killers to learn properly.
Hell nah, blight is the hardest killer to play ... anyone can learn nurse but blight is hardcore to use in chases and loops effectively.
-
Blight is the most difficult killer imo so everyone has a hard time using his power in chases and loops, unless it's high mmr against rare blight mains.

Yeah but its not a distance extender anymore they have to time it to dodge a hit it cant be used to gain distance to extend a loop, thats a big W
Everyone will now press it before they vault or drop a pallet to be safe from potential hits so it's either you wait it out and get stunned or hit them and get stunned either way, the 0.5 second 200% distance dash is now 1 second and 100% distance so it's very similar in good survivor hands it's still problematic.
-
Isn't hitting someone after they press E now will give them 1 second to safely drop pallets and vault ?
-
Yes, the most difficult killer to land hits with and can easily be juked with decent survivors.
-
I had a long nurse break like 3 months I didn't play her but before I was really good I land all my hits but yesterday I played her and the map was Lerys I couldn't hit anyone sadly and I went against god tier swf they can break line of sight easily, with how many walls that map has I just gave up.
-
Grew up playing on PC I rarely used any controllers It's easy but I can't use controller tho

idk about that
I remember just starting out on League and was told to kill myself and called various slurs multiple times within my first few games just because I had no idea what I was doing
Ofc the amount of hate and such messages are brutal we all got those messages but you can mute and reports are taken seriously, In DBD you can't mute Tbags and clicks and taunts and bully squads the toxicity is by actions rather than words and ofc the killers that will hit you on hook and move their faces , the tunneling and the face camping the DC's the suicides on hooks all of these are nearly in every match not as much as LOL
-
I played League of legends since 2014 and it's known that it has the most toxic player base in any video game but DBD is more toxic than that..

But yes, people tend to play very scared against Nurse.
No one cares and no one says such remarks other than you... I always see you commenting means stuff or 2 cent sarcasm comments to everyone, grow up.

I always try to few this from the killers POV: they do their best the whole game, hook a few survivors without camping, get a 3 gen, but can't find anyone .. especially not that pesky Dwight that was immersing the whole game.
And then you get one on deathhook, the last gen gets completed and the survivors just swarm the hook and with body blocking and BT they all escape and t-bag you ggez at the exit gate.
Do survivors ALWAYS have to go for EVERY possible save? I mean yeah, thats 5k more BP for you for surviving, but by the sound of it you got top BP because you did everything that match. A killer sometimes can let someone go, no problem, but survivors nearly never leave someone behind because the "killer was struggling". So, if the killer was somewhat toxic, camped and hit people on hook or tunneld survivors unhooked 2s earlier, yeah, I will try to go for any save. But if the killer is clearly struggling? Then I open the exit gates and just leave.
Yeah nurse tried to tunnel a Leon but he had DS and she lost him

Technically all Killers except Trapper are oppressive on a 3Gen I had a stand off for 1 hr and 5 mins before the Survivors just gave up and stood by hooks and I was playing Vommy Mommy. This sounds like your team was more to blame than the Nurse just doing her objective to protect Gens. I have been "reported" by survivors saying I was holding the game hostage because I wouldn't chase them and stay by the gens.
But you can run away you can see them coming a mile away and you have enough time to hide but nurse just blinks to each gen and hits you or grabs you instantly 0 counter play.
-
@Karao_Ke said:
To be fair, almost every killer is oppressive with a 3 gen. That's one of the things survivors have to avoid doing to win.
I can see your frustration though. Selfish survivors make me tilted too, believe me.
Other killers will give you enough heartbeat time to run away but nurse just teleports behind you with no warnings and she can keep the ping pong through the 3 gens quickly but with other killers you have a chance of finishing one of the gens.

That just sounds like a solo Q issue. Those randoms don't represent the community.
Ofc a swf will help their own but a swf isn't the norm in video games it's usually soloQ

@InvadeGames said:
Dead Hard - (nerf) - dash distance doubled. invincibility frames removed.
You mean a buff, not a nerf. cuz in no way is that a nerf. the chance of you hitting someone Dhing with I frames is slim to none, and Double dash distance is insane and will extend chases even longer
Correct lol that's a huge buff in that case it will only benefit ranged killers since they can hit you through the dash
-
I was lucky enough to get it the second time I tried but yeah everyone uses lockers
-
* Grabs my flash light * ;)
-
That's nothing compared to make your choice hag instant down teleports
-
I'm having the same issue for the last 6 month, my survivor queue is instant no matter what time is it but killer games take 7-10 mins for me and it's torture and always queues me against sweaty swf teams I never play against soloQ..

I think only one person answered this correctly. Wraith is a free killer, and Noed is a free perk. A new player trying the game out will likely use these.
Not complicated.
I checked many profiles that's not the case because most of them are using high end cosmetics with 1000+ hours of playtime not new players I'm playing at highish mmr

@Laluzi said:
I am affronted! When I play Wraith, I never use NOED.
...I use Devour Hope instead. :P
There's two and a half reasons you see a lot of NOED on Wraiths. Reason one is that Wraith is a common newbie killer (in both senses of the term) and newer players tend to use NOED due to its effectiveness in lower tiers and out of a lack of good perks unlocked. The other reason and a half is that Wraith is weak and needs more lethality in his kit, and also that NOED works very well with his game flow. Wraith is a bit like Legion; he excels at getting the first hit, but sucks at getting the second. That worked out okay for him before CoH was a thing, but now he can't rely on finding injured survivors to land that first hit on. So, Exposed. And nobody does bones anymore in the boon era, so NOED's a pretty reliable pick.
Most of Wraiths I go against are wearing high end cosmetics and good at the game so basically they enjoy him more than being new to the game
-
@Akumakaji said:
My theory is that there is this place called "MMR Hell". Its a rather low and dismal place bereft of joy and hope, lorded over the NOED wraith, how ain't good enough to proceed with the game abd git gut, so they equip NOED every time, to terrorize their subjects.
The thing about MMR hell is, that most survivors here are bad, either. You got no teammates, to rely to, people are afraid to show themselves, least they will be huntet and struck down by the hunter in the dark, so many immerse themselves or hide in lockers all game. No one can loop, no one knows when to come for saves or how to effecienty do gens and especially no one knows how to do bones. So the game drags on till somehow all gens are powered, and NOED comes into play.
Under this circumstances its VERY hard to play consistently good and getting enough wins under ones belt needed to leave the MMR hell and carry on, yet this is your only chance! The poor wraith players, who can't adept, nor innovate will stay down here and rule over their kingdom of fear and hate, knowing that they will be shredd to pieces if they step outside of their borders, so it is on YOU to pull it off and stick it to them. I know how hard that is, for I have been down there myself, but it is possible.
I had fun reading your comment lol brings back creepy pasta old days memories

Have you ever tried to do totems by yourself? Maybe bring perks like "Small Game" to help you with it
I do as much as I can but it's impossible alone and you need 4 committed survivors to finish gens but that's rare in soloQ where everyone suicides on hook and DC's and no one wants to work on gens so you expect them do even care about totems ? I doubt sadly
-
Didn't see him at all no one is playing him which is weird except me playing him in my killer games, I only saw him once playing survivor and he was afk but it's weird that not every match is dredge since you can buy him with shards..

Every match I play these days sadly

Seems like you fail to zone properly. You shouldnt use the ability the second you reach the loop, you have to use the ability where you idealy want your remnant, you can use your remnant as a bait for an easy hit for example place it abit further away from the loop so if the survivor walks through it which is fine in that case he had to take a wide angle and can not make it to the pallet afterwards.
You also need to watch how and where you place the rement, facing at which side of the map, I see MANY MANY ppl still to this day zoning themselves to the edge of the map and break a pallet like that, you want that survivors are at the outside of the map while you are inside, like this they cannot run back into the map and reach other tiles that quickly.
I find it quiete weird that dredge was put as an "medium difficulty" killer, he is imo hard. There are many mistakes you can do with this killer and it requires alot of planning, muscle memory and timing. Thats why i love my new baby <3
I know that I should do that but in a chase I'm not used to it yet you to plan a lot especially in jungle gyms where you can't see properly
-
@Crowman said:
His anti loop ability requires skill to use effectively. It's not like you can just place the renmant and teleport back for a free hit.
First you have to zone the survivor into a spot where they just can't simply run away.
Second you need to plan how you want the survivor to run into your renmant and looking in that direction when you start the channel do you teleport back facing that direction. This changes if you use the addon to make it so you teleport back and keep facing the direction you were, but honestly I don't see that addon being good.
Yeah it's not easy at it seemed
-
@Brimp said:
His antiloop is good if the survivors allow it to be. Once someone sees you place the remnant down they can EASILY w to another loop as you slowdown when holding the teleport.
Yeah I noticed smart survivors will hold w
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I understand it pretty well from a "when to use, when not to use" standpoint but honestly the screen darkening effects really need to be toned down whenever you teleport back. Might end up trying out Shadowborn on him just because going from 87 FoV to like, 60 because of the effects is way too disorienting sometimes.
I do place good remnants but teleporting back confuses me and gives the survivor enough time to vault or get away
-
I wanted to make a post about it but I didn't, last day I had like 5 matches all of them had noed killers and totems were difficult to find it's really unfair in SoloQ.

@RisingTron said:
Why not finish the last gen and leave instead of DC? If they were both stuck maybe the endgame collapse could've ended the game and fixed whatever it was.
I didn't care about winning just checking who's hacking or what's happening I didn't think of working on gens anymore and it was my last game for the day and I wanted to spectate to check what's happening from the mikaela point of view.
