One of the main uses of DH was using it to make it to a pallet or a window, which you cant do anymore. Honestly i see much more lithes and sprint bursts.
-
about half of the perks in this game need help. the 40 perk rework was nice and all but not enough
-
Honestly i dont think outfits matter too much, unless youre using the ice ghostface shroud. But this would probably be the best

hope one day they change PH chase music to that in ptb it was greatful and nice, the live sounds just as if the music is not finished and there is a lot of hissing
bro that sounds amazing. what were they thinking?
-
@Carmina_is_cute said:
Sounds a little too much like what Ghostface has currently. I think the live one fits Oni better.
The old one actually sounds like a japanese samurai chasing you. Current one just sounds so generic. Like you could give it to any killer and it would fit
-
a 2nd rework is what freddy needs

sounds like his fan base
theyre not so bad

copium

I'd recommend wraith because of how simple he is.
-
Walk up to a locker and press CTRL. It doesn't work if your power is on cooldown
(btw that mechanic is near-useless, youre better off just charging your teleport)
-
Some of his changes are near-perfect while others are godawful.

Plenty of highly skilled players make Nurse's life harder. And why would I take you as an example? I won't use some random from forums as a sample size LMFAO. My post is made based on playing as and against Nurse and watching a lot of other players play her.
Hilarious try at defusing my points though, lol!
All that tells me is that you can't prove it LMFAO
-
I don't get it either. Probably because she's the signature gamer girl of dbd
-
The playlist i listen to every day
-
hes not that good. out of ALL the things in this game, its dredge you complain about?
-
And nurse, blight, spirit and artist arent?
-
Pinhead is by far the stronger one of them. Oppressive anti loop if you know how to use it and incredibly obnoxious slowdown. And he also has slight mobility
in terms of fun, theyre about the same level
-
We already have side objectives for survivors: Unhooking, healing, chases, totems, chests, archives.
plus in most of my games my team doesnt even make it to the end game

It's not supposed to
if i recall correctly, peanits said otherwise

Funny how the top 3 killers are all killers who don't need nerfing
-
@Pulsar said:
No, he was the worst Killer in the game back then.
He would do really well against new players who didn't understand how his power worked, but against even decent players he got decimated.
The people that liked him never liked him for his strength, rather it was his unique playstyle and design that drew them in.
"He would do really well against new players who didn't understand how his power worked"
Can't you say that about literally every killer in the game?
-
No. Although he wasn't as bad as most people make him out to be. You had to play him strategically and with game sense. I'd do anything to have him back
-
i get a 4k one game and the next game i get people who just installed the game.
yeah

You can hear wraith's very heavy breathing and he emits a slight noise as well. No killer should be 100% silent, even if they are stealth - it's why Spirit's phasing was changed to directional because there is no counter play.
you cant really compare spirit to stealth killers.

This is just false lol. If someone goes down near a pallet and another survivor is close, how do you pick them up? If a survivor goes down in a dead zone and your only option is to slug, what do you do? Basekit unbreakable creates lose lose situations for the killer (which should never be the case). I truly believe that the only people who advocate for all of these second chase perks to become basekit are players who don't want to be in any danger at any point in the match. They just want to sit on gens and get easy escapes.
Also, basekit bt does not stop tunneling lol. I'm a Wesker main. If I chose to smack you as soon as you get off the hook, 2 charges later I've already caught up to you. Giving you free perks isn't the way to address these issues. If you want to reduce tunneling, make chases more appealing. How do you do that? 1. Make maps smaller/less safe. 2. Give survivors an objective that actually requires skill from all survivors. 3 people sitting on gens while 1 is in chase, isn't particularly engaging. Especially when 2-3 gens will pop right off the bat if they are playing efficiently.
fair point honestly. fingers crossed bhvr comes up with a fix for that problem
basekit bt doesnt stop tunnelling but it makes it significantly less appealing. and everything you suggested would only make killers tunnel even more (like the 90s gens did). another thing, theres more to survivor than just doing generators. they have to make important decisions just like you do

Great we got pay to win skins now lol
before bhvr patches it, that is

Counterplay. Just like when you can hear wraith and Myers
i dont know why people keep bringing myers and wraith up. a wraith has to physically be touching your back in order for you to hear his breathing. as for myers, thats only a real hinderance in t1. after that, you dont have to worry about it

It is not. I played against it and it makes the same sounds.
Idk why would you think it won't make them, these sounds are just part of his proximity ambience, it's not tied to the outfits.
i always figured that the robe itself was making the sounds. guess i was wrong

What does it change, if the sound level is the same?
It is not unnecessary, you should get atleast some counter for being grabbed for example. (Which is already kinda hard, since Gens are loud)
unless youre on a map like lerys theres practically no way for a ghostface to grab you without giving you a small window to react to it
-
@Bot_Salvo88 said:
They say that his new outfit from the rift is completely silent. I still haven't managed to go against him to test if it's op or not.
hens tested it and apparently it is silent. its probably just an oversight though so dont get your hopes up
-
@drakolyr said:
Cause you can hear every stealth killer. For example, you hear Myers breath. Or Wraith breath... something.
You shouldnt be completly silent. Also, if you approach fast, it doesnt change anything.
the thing is myers' and wraiths breathing is literally just breathing. where as ghostie almost has an "environmental sound" if that makes sense
i dont think it matters too much but its just so unnecessary
-
the 45s unbreakable isnt going to do anything in 95% of your games. when the hell do you need to slug someone for 45s anyway? as for basekit bt, just dont tunnel its that simple.
-
@WorthlessBeing said:
Force of habit, I always expect it personally. Well, at least one hex perk. That's why I run Counterforce + Detective's Hunch. I'm the totem jokey
and if the killer doesnt have it?

Its 100% worth it if you have a totem cleansing challenge
yeah but other than that when do you really need it
-
It's a bad perk. No reason to cleanse totems now that hexes are a lot less common & boon totems. You may be like "oh but noed-" bro its so time consuming its not even worth it.
-
The first quitting post that doesn't make me cringe. Take care man <3
-
Just because you lost a game as deathslinger doesnt mean hes bad. id argue hes b+ if you know how to play him.
-
we got the freaking scary movie mask. how could it even be better?

@versacefeng said:
It’s repetitive, boring, and doesn’t fit dbd or her. I find the default chase music to be more fitting.
it sounds very tribal so in that regard yes it does fit her
-
32m or 40m.
-
@FFirebrandd said:
Yep. It used to. Then Behavior butchered the perk.
I think it was because of adding boons, because they did it when Makayla came out. Honestly it was probably so killers couldn't occupy all 5 totems, get warned a totem was getting blessed, and stop survivors from using and abusing Circle of Healing.
Honestly... with how busted CoH was and kind of still is, killers needed to have an option like that.
If anything thrill is even better now. having totems take 28s to bless is no joke. bonus if theyre blessing the thrill itself
-
All they need to is make the transition a bit smoother. It goes from 0 to 100 in a second.
-
Don't rely on items ig

At least there were changes....
Sadako and Freddy received a big ............... by the devs once again. And Twins? Ah who cares, we have Wesker.
Don't be surprised if they leave freddy untouched for another 2-3 years. Ig theyre happy with his killrate
-
You thought wesker wasn't going to be a set? lol
-
Oh cool
-
Fuming is kinda based
-
Wasn't that the bug that required you to lunge at the beginning of the match?
-
You've only noticed it now?
-
if you think DH is bad now it used to be a million times worse
