  • Reasoning?

I dont really think it is hard anymore with just getting a 4K. Getting a 2-pip was hard (even tho, still manageable when you wait until Grade Reset). But getting a 4K is not really that hard IMO. Might not work in the first game and you sadly have to slug, but not really something which needs changing.

If a Killer is 3-genning from the start then that means they aren't defending the other gens. It also means they are not putting nearly as much pressure (getting downs/hooks) as a Killer that chases (which is what the aim is).

If the system only kicked-in at 1 gen remaining (or maybe 2 to account for Killers that can defend better than others like Singu and Skully but imo 1 gen would be perfectly fine) then infinite games would go away simply because Survivors could merely ignore the 3-gen in favor of doing the other gens first (like what happened in the cursed Team Eternal match that started this whole debacle).

As it is now, the system simply kills so many perks the moment the Survivors start to get a kernel of game-sense and experience, it's even possible for SWF to use the limit to purposefully give a free endgame.

Surveillance, Nowhere to Hide, Dragon's Grip, Trail of Torment, Unforeseen, every regression perks other than Pop and Pain Res etc. are simply no longer worth the perk slot if playing a Killer on the weaker end of the spectrum and you reached the point where Survivors kinda-know what they are doing. Weaker Killers need slowdown and perks like Surge and Eruption simply don't offer enough regression for being a limited resource. Even with Pop and Pain Res, Survivors can out-repair gens with the right perks/items.

Why bring Nowhere to Hide if Survivors might have Distortion, be in a locker or simply pre-ran? That was 1/8 kicks wasted for 0 perk value and a measly 5% (it's nothing let's not deny it, the Knight's guards did the same before the limit was implemented). The same principle apply to every non-regression kick perks, why bring them for a chance to get some info or temporary stealth if it ends up being a wasted slot? If winning is the goal then simply bringing Pop, Pain Res, Grim Embrace/Deadlock and DMS is the way to go since it offers the most slowdown for the least amount of regression events.

There's a reason why tunnelling went sky-high since that update, weaker Killers have less time and (since STBFL and now Sloppy are now also nerfed in the wrong way) have less options to compensate for their weaker/longer chases. Pop and Pain Res were already among the top picks but this just made it even worse because it's not just a question of them being picked often, it's a matter of so many perks no longer being picked because of it.

The system itself isn't worthless, the idea is sound (especially with Killers like Skull Merchant existing) but having it active the whole trial affects way more than just those endless stalemates (and the devs specifically stated that the mechanic is not there to affect normal gameplay, which is absolutely does right now), it shifts the whole meta and pushes weaker Killers to tunnel more to compensate and lowers perk and Killer viability further at a higher level (which is something that should be avoided since variety is one of the key things making DBD stand out from every other assyms and it's most fun aspect when it actually shows up). The system does prevent Killers from 3-genning from the start, but it also does infinitely more and it shouldn't.

What does it matter that the other Gens are not defended? It does not matter if the other 4 Gens have 0 Progress, 99% Progress or are completed, as long as the Killer is holding the 3-Gen.

If the system would only kick in with 1 Gen remaining, this means that the Survivors would have to cause a 3-Gen. So they have to play badly in order for the system to kick in and most likely it will be easy for the Killer at this point, since they will still have their 3-Gen and most likely no ressources left in it.

Saying that it should only kick in when 1 Gen is remaining just shows that not much thought was put into that idea.

That's what I've been saying. This whole 8 regression limit has severely hurt the viability of SEVERAL perks. This whole thing needs to be reworked to only kick in once there are only 3 gens left.

This would completely invalidate the system. Because it would then not work anymore against Killers who 3-Gen from the start, who are the reason why it was implemented in the first place. Because it does not matter what happens to the other Gens if a Killer is just guarding 3 Gens from the beginning, so if it would only work with 3 Gens left, it would never kick in. Unless the Survivors bring themselves into a 3-Gen to activate the system, which is really not the purpose of the system.

  • If someone reaches second stage because nobody bothered to get them, I down them and not hook them, basically giving them back their second Hook Stage. They were most likely SoloQ and it is tough for them anyway. (But I will kill them the next time they are downed, but at least they had to be downed 3 times like it should be)

Did bite me in the ass some time because I would have easily won in a 3v1, but it is what it is.

  • I mean, while I also sometimes get Killers who jump back 3 meters before they get stunned, I dont really see an issue here. The issue maybe is Bloodlust, because at the not so safe Pallets a respect will result in a hit which can feel very cheap (since the Killer just has to wait a few seconds to be fast enough to get the hit), but this is not really an issue with respecting pallets.

And well, when I play Survivor the bigger issue I have is that sometimes I am meshing Space and the Pallet is just not thrown and I get hit. And as Killer it sometimes seems like my Hitbox is massive and I get hit while I am surely far enough away (I mean, apparently not, but at least it looked like I was far enough away to avoid getting stunned...)

  • They 100% made them more rare to appear. I also went to get an Offering on each of my Survivors, for the first 37 characters I spent roughly 2 Million BPs and got at least one Offering and one Map on each of them. Then with the 1 Million received yesterday, I barely got a map and an offering on the last remaining 4 Survivors. So 1 Million for 4 compared to 2 Million for 37 is not a coincidence, they made them more rare.

  • Yeah, I would also say that none of them should be banned. In the end they wasted each others time, but both players had the opportunity to end the hostage situation. Which is the key difference from actual "holding the game hostage"-situations. In those only the player doing it can hold the game hostage, the player getting held hostage has no chance of ending it unless they DC. But in this case, the Myers could have just opened the locker. Yes, no achievement. But the game ends.

And the Survivor could have just left the locker. Yes, they would have died. But the game ends.

When both players can end the game, it is not taking someone hostage.

Unfortunately without an update there's no possibility to get them removed, we are sending out a BP login compensation for the loss of BP offerings earlier in the week and for the kill switch on the Event offerings.

It looks like they are much rarer than before. I spent the 1 Million BPs to get at least one Offering and one Map on every Survivor and I got way less than before. I barely got one Offering on the last 4 Survivors compared to the 37 Survivors where I got at least one Offering per Survivor with 2 Million BPs I had before.

I highly doubt this is a coincidence.

  • Why do you HAVE to calculate the total amount in the first place?

  • @Quizzy said:

Forcing to farm is against the rules they say. But when I do report that with video evidence, they never inform me if an action is taken.....ever. lol Love dbd

I mean, not many people will report forced farming. First of all, farming in general is very rare nowadays. But even if it happens, most of the time everyone is involved. And for the rare occasions where people dont want to farm, they will probably just not report it. So it is highly unlikely that the person you reported will have gotten many reports and so they are probably not doing an action.

When I see a farming Killer when I play Survivor, I just try to play the game normally and thats it. I dont think about reporting them or anything.

If pug survivors are facing killers like Momo, no map in DBD is going to save them. What else ya got? lol.

Let alone that this does not work if the Killer in question is playing Nurse. So a Map with way more pallets than usual. Great. And now?

That's good to hear and glad similar thoughts are out there with the streamers and such. Winstreaks I feel should be for competitions only. No idea if those streak people do those competitions and what their successes are, but those are absolutrly the type of streaks I'd moreso be interested in - not pub matches.

IMO the Streaks are mainly content. They draw in viewers. Viewers want to be present when a new milestone is reached, you can be sure that more people watch close before 1000 for example. And well, Viewers also want to be there when the Streak is over.

So for Streamers it is probably mostly good content. Personally, I dont really enjoy streaks in DBD, because you really watch one person stomping their oppopnents the whole time, but I enjoyed streaks in other games (mainly The Binding of Isaac when my favorite Streamer back then was doing Eden-Streaks). So I can get behind it.

They should just bring back rank.

    This.

Old Rank Reset which sets you back to Rank 11 or 12 or whatever it was (from Rank 1) was good. You had good games for the first three weeks and then it was a bit messy in the last. But it was fine.

Especially because their reasoning was so weird. One reason was because they did not want players to miss out on getting to Rank 1 (which did nothing back then), if they are not able to play as much. And years later they implement Grades, which even have a reward for reaching Iri 1... Which players will not reach if they are not able to play much.

Also havent they done a blood feast before which even that would beat this out because it was like a 3x multiplier? While this caps at 2?

    https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Blood_Feast

it also was all about getting as much bp as possible.

Yeah, but I would not really bring up Blood Feast into this. This happened so long ago, it is not really relevant anymore.

  • To be fair, you will have 200% Bonus-BPs once the goal is reached. This will most likely be less than the Anniversary, but should be more than Lunar New Year.

However, I think it is a bad way to do it like this. IMO the event should have started with the 200% Bonus-BP. Especially the start of an event is important, because this is where you have the biggest potential to reach players. People who are now disappointed with it will most likely not start playing again when the Bonus hits the maximum.

  • This event? The Blood Moon-Event was delayed?

Usually there would have been a different event (Lunar New Year), but this is not happening this year. But the Lunar New Year is a diffferent event than the Blood Moon-Event.

  • @Choaron said:

Wasn't this event delayed by like a month specifically to make sure it will work smoothly too? BHVR truly never fails to meet our expectations.

    No, not at all.

Making things up followed by "BHVR truly fails to meet our expectations" is not really the way to go.

EDIT: I stand corrected, apparently they planned it already for January and February and the event mentioned in the Roadmap was not the Lunar New Year Event from the start...

  • I mean, first of all it is an information that the Offering is killswitched. Would also not say that OP was trying to bash them. In the end, they hyped up the event pretty much AND there was no Lunar New Year Event, which is one of the most anticipated events each year.

So the Offering not working properly and even cancelling out BP-Offerings is really not the best start for the event. I hope they extend it for a few days (and fix the Offering of course).

Yeah i did i was just asking what the reasoning would be for it to "should not be a thing" since both of us know its probably not changing. I just dont see who can see it a problematic in the first place so i thought id ask why you thought that.

Because Hatch is a way of escaping the Trial. You cannot stop Survivors from leaving through the Gate either when you shock them. And while Shocks interrupt the gate opening, Madness 3 does not prevent it.

So the intention is quite clear that Survivors should be able to escape in Madness 3 or when the Gate is open and they are being shocked. Would be weird if Hatch would be the exception (and the only reason it most likely is is because it requires an input to escape via Hatch).

  • @supersonic853 said:

On the hatch jump. Why shouldnt it? Doctors not that effective. Most of his effectiveness comes from the shock interrupting stuff. And using a power to prevent a survivor from getting a escape they probably didnt really earn in the first place doesnt seem that unfair to me considering if you close it the survivor also gets the gates to escape. The game gives survivors a lot of opportunities. And this it actually comes down to doctors timing. I dont really see a leg at all to move.

Yeah, you did not even read my post. I said it is not really needed to change that.

I would be more impressed if a streak purely involved comp players. A comp killer playing hard in a public lobby where most people are playing just for fun just feels like Kurt Angle entering a junior school amateur wrestling tornament and going completely psycho.

These streaks I feel are way more detrimental to the game, because the people conducting the streaks play like ######### and probably have pissed a lot of people off. The fact this guy got pissed off because he lost is just desserts.

Yeah, a Streak of Comp-players against Comp-players would be way more impressive. Sure you would not get such high numbers, but I think if someone has something like a 20 win streak against comp Survivors, this would already be really impressive.

Funnily enough, ScottJund said the same in his video about the topic. That a streak like this in public games is like Michael Jordan winning against some middle school kids.

In the end, my empathy towards the Blight-player is also quite limited. They played super-sweaty for almost 2k games, this is the game ruined for 8k Survivors right from the start. Then they should not get upset when they face a comp-team who does exactly the same to them.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3679062#Comment_3679062

Yeah that’s a really good point. She’s been nerfed a lot of times but none of them really hit the reason why she is so powerful.

It feels like they don’t really know what to do with her. All of her changes are pretty much just what content creators kept claiming was her biggest issue. First she needed some cool down, then it was just her range add ons, then her combining with Starstruck. Now that everything else has been touched I hope it’s time they can finally find what her core problem is.

The thing is, you cannot really balance her when keeping her power as it is. Unless you make it so incredinbly bad that she is the worst Killer in the game.

She would need a complete rework, and while I also think that the Devs dont know how to tackle this, I also think that they fear the backlash. And well, a minor aspect is also that you can always deny any "pay2win"-allegations, because the strongest Killer is available for free in the Main Game.

  • It should not be a thing. But honestly, I think it happens very, very rarely that you are about to jump into the Hatch and are then hit by a Shock which prevents it. Not really worth changing.

On the other hand, Doctor preventing Unhooks with his Shocks is a whole different thing which should be changed at some point.

  • With your logic you can say that every Killer is the same because they all can hit Survivors with their weapon when you press M1.

With 35 Killers (and many more in the future, since the Devs will probably not change their release schedule), it is bound to happen that there are some overlays here and there. But honestly, Killers are usually really unique, even if they share features. E.g. Billy and Bubba both have a chainsaw, yet they playstyle or way of using it is way different.

  • @BlightedDolphin said:

Survivor win streak are always going to be lower than killer ones. In a killer win streak, only 1 player has to play perfectly where as 4 need to in a survivor win streak. And the fact that a comp survivor team requires 4 players where as a comp killer is just 1, it is far more likely for someone who is at the very top of the skill ladder to go against a team of their own skill when they play survivor compared to killer.

The survivor win streak could have easily gone higher if it weren’t for the fact they played really poorly against a killer at their skill level who played near perfectly. If they had played slightly better, they probably would’ve won. And I’m pretty sure they also handicapped themselves with tournament rules so they weren’t even playing to their full potential.

As for the killer streaks, yeah a streak that high is insane. The fact Nurse still hasn’t been nerfed harder than a slap on the wrist after all these years is baffling. Freddy has been nerfed harder than her multiple times.

Blight I can’t really judge yet as this streak was pretty much done in its entirety before his recent nerfs and he is in the road map for some changes so it might not possible soon enough. Hopefully these changes actually make a difference and so the devs can see how powerful Nurse can be when all the players who only play Blight because he’s top tier migrate to her.

The funny thing is that the Blight-Nerfs were more impactful than the Nurse-Nerfs, despite

    • Blights nerf only affecting Add Ons (at least for now)
    • Nurse was nerfed several times while Blight was only nerfed once (at least for now)

The sole reason for this is that Blight has to play DBD, while Nurse does not have to play DBD, she is playing a completely different game.

And while I understand that he is on the Roadmap for further changes, every Nerf to a Killer who is not Nurse is just absurd as long as Nurse gets to keep her broken state. And I hope the Devs will have the courage to change Nurse in a meaningful way at some point, because it is laughable that they only do impactful changes to the Killers who are Number 2 to Number 35 on the list, but not to the undisputed Number 1-Killer.

    Scott put it the best.

The amount of emotion he felt after loosing that immense win streak caused him to lash out without thinking, he even said he was mistaken later.

He's been on that streak forever now, 99% of people would break down even if they made the mistakes causing them to lose.

Should that win streak be possible? No. But a person with empathy might understand why he had a moment of blind anger.

I mean, Scott also said that the player in question should not complain too much since what he complained about (the Surivvor stacking all the strong stuff to win) was the same what the Blight-player did for almost 2000 games.

You cannot really complain about the Survivors bringing strong Items, a Map Offering and multiple of each Perk while bringing a strong Build in almost 2000 games in a row.

  • Survivor.

As Killer, I am the one responsible for me losing. As Survivor, this might not be the case. Sure, if I play badly, whatever, my fault. But if I have a decent chase and I see that nobody is doing Gens... Way more annoying or stressful than doing badly as Killer.

IMO the lack of control in Survivor-rounds is what makes it more stressful. Your own skill does not matter as much compared to playing Killer. (A 2 minute chase can be a win for the Survivors. But if nobody is doing Gens, this might as well be a 5 second chase...)

And to think there was a time when new Chapters had decent perks for survivors.

Yeah. I mean, my build is basically from 2017, because the "latest" Perk released in my Build is from Bill (Borrowed Time). So my build features no Perks in the last 6 years... Simply because most are not worth running. The last Perk I considered (aside from MfT ofcourse) was Reassurance, the PTB-Version was decent and would have been an effective Tool against camping.

But, to be fair - I think it is harder to create good Survivor-Perks, because they need to be universally good. Killer Perks dont need to be universally good to be used, when at least some Killers can get use out of them.

E.g. Iron Maiden is not a good Perk, but can be good on Killers who have to interact with Lockers anyway. Or Rapid Brutality (the Perk which gives 5% Haste after a Hit, but disables Bloodlust) is not really strong, but a Killer like Clown can make use of it (and I have seen it being run on Clown).

Sable exists to sell cosmetics. Period. All three of her perks are just not good. They’re either outclassed by another perk (a free perk at that), really weak, or a killer perk—this one, for instance.

This is 100% correct. The outcry about the Survivor-portion of this Chapter would be far higher if Sable would not look like she does. If it would have been someone like Haddie who gets those Perks (not that Haddies are that good either), there would be more complaints. But a bunch of people is happy to get a pretty Skin when playing Survivor and thats about it.

  • Never seen it before, but this is a good reason to killswitch the Map. Especially with quite a bunch of people playing Pig after her changes.

  • Have seen it fill-up twice on my games - one time against a Myers who was standing in front of the Hook with Tombstone ready. The Survivor did not use it (the Bar was 100% full) to give us the chance to do the remaining Gens.

And one time a Billy decided to let a Meg get off the Hook after he realized that the Nicolas who was also in the Trial was doing nothing and the Billy wanted the Meg to escape instead of the Nicolas.

I am not endorsing this kinda behaviour, but I have done it a couple of times to real mean bully squads, because I know that they were a team and were all waiting to get into the next game and my standard response in the EGC is always something "sorry, I thought you guys like bullying so much". But its a really douchebag move when done to regular survivors.

On the other hand, do you guys have any idea how much of MY time as a killer main has been wasted by survivors waiting at the exit gates with the sole purpose to rub in that they won and twerk mindlessly? Yeah, I could scare them out, but I would rather not face that humiliation and keep a small sliver of dignity after a crushing defeat. Bleeding out as the last survivor is nowhere as common as BMing the killer at the exit gates (I know that this is a bit whataboutissm, but its still a fact that killers get BMed way much more).

I am still advocating for a general perk called "Just Leave" that exposes survivors who stay in the exit gates area for too long and errect the blood warden barrier for them alone, until they move 42m away from the gates.

Also, there is this one corner case: the killer won fair and square, the survivor didn't play in any charming way to win over the killers heart, but even BMed them during the whole trial, but due to unlucky hook spawns the killer can't hook the survivor. The survivor could accept the L and not crawl into a comp corner and struggle ... but most won't, so in such cases, its bleedout for them.

"On the other hand, do you guys have any idea how much of MY time as a killer main has been wasted by survivors waiting at the exit gates with the sole purpose to rub in that they won and twerk mindlessly? Not really compareable and a very weak argument. And not only "a bit" whataboutism, quite a lot.

First of all, waiting for Survivors to leave takes only half the time it takes for Bleedout. And well, you can do anything you like during this time. Like breaking Pallets or just using your Power to get some more BPs. What can a Survivor do while on the ground? Recover for a few BPs. Great.

And, as you said correctly, you can force those Survivors out. If you dont want to deal with the "humilation" (lol) and "keep your dignity" (lol²), this is a you-problem, nothing else. You have the option to force them out to end the game, but decide against it. The Survivor bleeding out on the ground does not have that option.

They made DBD free on the Epic game store awhile back. Cheaters took the opportunity to make thousands of free accounts. BHVR also occasionally has free events on other platforms, this game will never be cheater free.

This has nothing to do with the game being free on Epic or whatever. Cheating is not a DBD-Problem, you will find Cheaters in every game.

Even if it would have never been free you would see cheaters, simply because it is a super-cheap game overall. You can get DBD for as much as 3 Bucks via Keys, and this will give you a few weeks of cheating.

It's just funny because they put all this dev time and resources into making stuff like this for no reason. Nobody asked for anything like this perk and the feedback was overwhelmingly negative since the start.

I'm convinced nobody at BHVR actually plays the game outside of Dev Circles cause how does this even get greenlint in the current state of the game for survivor?

    So funny. 🤣🤣🤣

I mean, the idea to try new things is always good. But there is no world in which a Perk like this can be worth the time investment and Downsides. And even if this would be the case, it would probably get nerfed at some point because as we know, the mass-complaints would start (see Circie of Healing, which was way too strong at the start, but is now not really useable... as the only Boon-Perk which was really worth taking).

So before they create a bunch of other Invocation-Perks which are just outright bad, they should just scrap the concept and thats it.

But I am pretty sure they wont do it, so we might see more Perks which are just useless and benefit the Killer more than the Survivors.

It does seem like it doesn't even need an injured/broken penalty if this is how it works, or should regress extremely slowly, if at all. Just the fact you sit for 2 minutes leaving your team in a 3vs1, in basement where your progress can be halted for basically a free injury/down/basement hook already seems enough downsides.

It does not need this penalty.

People who talked about this Perk being potentially good saw it as a fair trade-off, but it really is not. Because aside from spending a huge amount of time in the Basement not progressing the game, you will put one Teammate at a disadvantage who will be broken for the remainder of the Trial. And being broken is a bad thing, we all know this, seeing that No Mither is not used at all (and would even give Benefits which are probably better than Invocation, lol).

Because in the end, having 10 charges knocked off of every Gen would also mean that the moment you are finished, the Killer can go to the Basement (if they are close by) and knock the Survivor down. And even if this is not happening, this Survivor is a target for tunneling. And then it is questionable if removing 10 charges of each Gen is worth at least one Survivor not on Gens for a long time AND potentially having an early 3v1 afterwards, because that Survivor is a target for tunneling.

IMO they should just scrap Invocation-Perks before they get too invested in them. The first one is already a failure, it will not get better from that. Make a new Perk, "Weaving Spiders" (without Invocation) and just give it a new effect. Invocations are already a failed concept, just dont push it further like Boons and rather create Perks without Invocation in mind.

If you look at nightlight.gg, I would say the more concerning stat is how small the chance for a draw is compared to how massive a 4k is and to a lesser degree a 4 man escape.

4ks and 4es are the least fun outcome, while 2ks are probably the most fun outcomes because both sides are pretty equally matched and both sides have skill expression.

But this is just the way DBD plays out. It is basically a game of snowballing.

If the Survivors do the Gens fast enough before the Killer can actually build pressure, you will most likely end up with a 4 man escape, maybe a 1K if the Killer gets someone in Endgame.

And if the game turns into an early 3v1 (tunneling, Hook suicide, whatever), the game is guaranteed to be a 4K, unless the remaining 3 Survivors are far better than the Killer (obviously I count 3K + Hatch the same as a 4K, because in the end a 3K + Hatch would have been a 4K if the Killer would have slugged or the Survivor did not get lucky to find the Hatch first).

But obviously, this does not mean that Draws should be ignored.

  • True, I failed to read. I read "by 3" not "to 3".

  • Did you use any Add Ons?

Because if you use Shredded Notes and C33 you are left with only 1 Rush-Token.

    I agree and disagree

I agree because some killers will try to find their weak link in the lobby and will tunnel them

But i also disagree because sometimes the killer is being filled into a lobby where they don't belong

And a big reason why someone ends up in a Lobby they dont belong in is Lobbydodging.

For example, there is no gender field on Steam profile, nor on DbD account. It's that they choose to reveal it and decisions must be free.

I say again and again, harassment is wrong. However, sadly, harassment does exist.

I think that risks that can be avoided should be avoided.

It should not even be considered a risk to express who you are in the first place.

As nice as it would be, I feel like it would create lobby dodging amongst survivors, especially if a perk you run is deemed "selfish."

It should be in the menu which opens when you press the Esc-Button (or whatever is used on Console). The menu which shows the Offerings and names and Ping of the Survivors. Just next to them the Perks would be great.

This would not cause more lobbydodging (which indeed should not happen), but would give helpful information. Sure, you would not be able to adjust your build to the build of other people, but I dont think many would do that if you could see the Perks in the Lobby. Most would probably dodge if they see that this David is just doing his Adept or if that Claudette indeed has Self Care.

But having that in the actual Trial makes sense and has not really any disadvantage.

  • I think it is usually the Head which is responsible for changes like this. (See Legions masks, some cosmetic have that mechanical breathing, which you get when you equip the respective head-piece)

There will always be some rejects, and I'd just like to bring up the Bubba scenario when the survivor skinned faces were removed because of racist vermin using it.

The cosmetics could be reworked if things continue, and I would understand it. It would be a shame though. Perhaps reporting these players and some IP bans may help avoid this if possible though.

The cosmetics should not be reworked to cater to people with such an awful mindset. With that we can also remove the Pride Charms, simply because people get upset about them and start to tunnel people with the Pride Charm equipped. And you know as well as I do that this would be the wrong direction to go. (And it would also not solve the problem)

You dont cater to people like this, you ban them. If someone thinks it is funny or necessary to make transphobic nicknames while mis-matching Unknowns cosmetics to send some form of message, they can do that in another game. If someone thinks they can be transphobic on the DBDTwitter, they should be banned from it. Those people should simply not be part of the community, easy as that. There is freedom of speech and there is just being a dick. And just being a dick is enough of a reason to remove those people from whereever platform they operate, even in the game itself.

    @Topic:

Does not surprise me in the slightest. And this is the sad thing. I honestly did not think that the cosmetics can be used in that kind of way, but it makes sense that some people think it is needed to do that.

Sadly I cannot say from my experience that BHVR is really taking action all the time. At some point I got tunneled out by a Doctor for wearing the Pride-Charm. And it was simply because of that, since they said it in Postgame-Chat and also called me names, from the F-Word to even worse things. And yet this person was not banned (I kept looking at their Steam-Profile for a few weeks after the incident, but nothing happened).

Yet I hope that they decide to act if it is clear that someone is doing that to hurt trans people. And I think transphobic nicknames should be a quite clear indicator for that.

  • I would play Jane if they cover her up even more. Like a big tent would make me happy and play her.

    @Topic:

Yeah, it was quite clear that they needed a good-looking Survivor for that Chapter. I think the Unknown is alright, but nothing which really will be a fan-favorite. And the Perks are not that good or really bad for the Survivor. So the Survivor itself needs to drag in people.

Same with Vittorio back then - the Knight was so lala when it comes to gameplay. There was a good Perk with Nowhere to Hide but thats it. Then add a hot Survivor and the Chapter is better.

(In general, the last original Survivors were highly attractive)
