  • Since a few days I get at least two Billys per day.

  • Highly doubt they would do a Original Chapter just with a Survivor. They would not make any money from that, except when bringing super-strong Perks (like MoM with Ash), but you would be able to get the Survivor with Shards, because it is an original character.

I doubt the person in question is a playable Character.

Î find it was not annoying and much better as the standart ones

I think you were part of the minority here. There was a lot of negative feedback about those sounds when they were introduced.

  • No, for Bacon. And I like Bacon.

I didn't play Billy before add-ons and power rework so I can't compare.

But I've been getting my 4K consistently so it's a matter of getting used to it I guess.

Keep trying and you'll be okay!

Its pretty hard to get used to it to be honest. I played a lot of Billy before they changed his animations, like really, a lot. And once he was bugged, it was really disgusting to play him. I got a little bit used to it when MMR was active, since I only got Rank 20s in their first game with Billy (and only with Billy, not even with Nurse, where I am far worse), so I played Billy a lot to see if I can get my MMR up (Despite 4King every game with 12 Hooks if nobody killed himself on hook, nothing changed), but it does not feel like before.

I cannot even tell what is wrong, it just does not feel right. I played Billy for a Daily yesterday and got an easy 4K, but still, he feels just strange. Its not that he is weak by any means or that I am bothered by Add Ons or the Overheat (I almost never overheat and I never used Add Ons), but he does not feel right.

OhTofu, someone who played tons of Billy-games and is a godlike Hillbilly-player also got fed up in a recent Livestream because of the weird feeling when playing Billy.

Honestly, I can understand the Devs why they went for the animation changes, since the animations now line up with the general movement of him, but they messed something up.

What I still want are personal stats, like how Battlefield keeps track of what class you played most, on what map, what weapon you killed most with, what map you preform best on, what map you preform worst on, etc etc etc

This would indeed be nice to have, but I guess, even if it is on their plan, it has a really low priority.

But OP most likely wants to have stats like overall Kill Rate or overall Pick Rate like we had a few months ago.

BBQ, Thrilling Tremors, Whispers, Discordance, Nurse's Calling, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Save the Best for Last, Monitor&Abuse, Hex: Ruin, Pop goes the Weasel...

The list goes on for a bit. There are way more killer perks considered "meta" than survivor perks.

    ^ exactly.

I am not even sure if you can really apply the concept of a Meta for Killer Perks. Probably for those which are good on the majority of Killers. But other than that, Killers have some really good Perks which are only good on some Killers and not really helpful on most of them. Infectious Fright is a prime example for that.

So I would not say that there is a Meta for Killers similar to the Survivor-Perk Meta.

  • MMR is running in the Background. This was communicated.

Regarding Stats, I doubt we will get them. And honestly, I wish we dont get any stats anymore, since people take them way too seriously and apply them on basically every game they play or just claim that the Devs are lying if the Stats dont meet their expectations.

I don't believe that. They fixed so many bugs during that time and didn't even mentioned that they are aware of the killer sounds problem and doing something against it.

Which games did you develop so far?

  • @Mr.FlexOG said:

So today I was playing on Disturbed ward against a SWF as pig with Devour hope, Ruin, Thrill of the hunt and Surveillance. I was also using the Amanda's secret add on.

This is besides the point of this thread but I played pretty well that game but was extremely unlucky due to losing thrill in under a minute and then loosing devour and ruin soon after, I got about 6 hooks before the gates were powered and when they were powered I was I was about half a second away from putting a bear trap on some ones head.

When the gates were powered I had two people downed, one slugged some where with an active helmet and one I was about to hook. I hadn't seen this guy all game and this was his first hook. Everyone else was on the last hook and injured due to them playing really altruistic and attempting body blocks.

Now I'm in a pretty strong position, by chance I'm on top of a hill with a slug not far from me and line of sight on the only two pathways leading to one of the exit gates. Almost immediately they open the gates and I think this will likely lead to more kills as the slug has RBT on their head and everyone is injured and on their last hook. Instead they heal each other in about a second then immediately leave. After that I had to spend the next four minutes looking for a slugged survivor who has crawled to the edge of the map and is hiding from me.

What pisses me off here is that I de-pipped. I had 7 hooks, a ton of hits and one sacrifice but apparently not enough for even brutal killer just because as a team they decided that it wasn't worth helping their team mate because they had a trap on their head and would just die anyway. I get entity displeased because the survivor decided to punish me by playing hide and seek instead of just letting me hook them for the points.

    Ok, several points:

First of all, you played on one of the worst Killer Maps due to the Main Building. Unlucky, but happens.

Second, your Pig-Build is not really good. Like, you go for 3 Hex-Perks and one Perk which is only good with one of the Hex-Perks, you dont have other Information Perks, you dont have ANY Chase Perks AND you decide to use one of the worst Pig Add-Ons.

Then, the emblems are not bad because its a SWF, but 7 Hooks is not much, 1 Sacrifice is also not much. The guy on the ground does not give you any Points.

And well - how do you know that it was an SWF btw? That they were healing fast? Or that they left? Leaving is the smart choice, if the remaining Survivor has an active Bear Traps, you can simply focus them afterwards and they would need to be lucky to find the Hatch. They cant escape during an Exit Gate, that guy was basically dead. So why should the other Survivors stay there? And you dont have to be in an SWF to know that.

  • No need to write anything here to be honest. You will not be convinced whatever people are saying.

I mean, just look at your "Some bad arguments". Your counter is "They dont make sense". Thats it. Yeah. Cool.

  • Chill, its just a message. They can also write "You lost", but this would be misleading for Killers who get a 3K despite playing really poorly.

They could also write "You deranked", but "Entity Displeased" serves the same purpose. If you get it too often, you should think about how to improve and not how unfair this message sounds to you.

Well, camping to secure a kill with as little effort as possible sounds like trying to win. I also don't think it should be nerfed.

There is a huge difference between trying to win because of outplaying the opponent and trying to win because you hope the first guy kills himself on hook quickly and/or hoping that NOED will "reward" the Killer with more than 1 additional Kill.

For as much as some people may hate him he is often right about things...

Aside from the fact that his ideas are not good at all, if the Devs would listen to Fog Whisperers, they would basically need to get opinions from every Fog Whisperer. Fanbases of Fog Whisperers (or Streamers in general) are already way too emotional, but just imagine the shitstorm if the Devs listen to Fog Whisperer A and implement an idea they had, but not the idea of Fog Whisperer B...

Not really worth it IMO. Its not like they ignore Fog Whisperers, they look videos of them about game things, but they would never work together with them in a way that MIGHT cause any trouble.

  • Devs are working on a mechanic which should make the early game easier for Killers.

In regards to Perks, there are already too many Slowdown Perks used. Especially no effortless early game slowdown is needed.

  • I mean, for Streamers, it is probably too boring to watch someone doing the Tutorial. But overall, could be entirely possible that they just forgot. I know for sure that I did not know at the start that fast-vaulting makes noise. And a friend of mine who did play the Tutorial (he only played like 2 hours of DBD total) did not know that he has to struggle when hooked the second time. Even if he just did it like 10 minutes ago in the Tutorial.

Here's Mandy's comment that I remember seeing. This was on a near identical thread (just asking when Rift cosmetics would come to the Store).

I remember the OP was pretty disappointed by the comment. Claiming they (the Devs) can consistently release new cosmetics during the pandemic but can't release already existing content. But I digress. This is the only time I could remember a dev/mod actually commenting on the subject. Numerous threads of this topic have been made with no dev response.

"Numerous threads of this topic have been made with no dev response." To be fair, the question is already answered - after a minimum period of 6 months. This can mean 6 months, 7 months or 2 years.

Also, the Devs are no big fans of giving precise Dates. You see this all the time, e.g. it is common knowledge that the new Patch will come 3 weeks after the PTB, because it has been a while like that, still, even if it is all planned, they will not say "Patch comes at this date" until 1 day before (at best).

So I only really expect an official announcement regarding the Cosmetics right before they are available in the store.

  • @Leachy_Jr said:

It's probably because survivors can just play safe and allow no possible outplays and because of how absurd gen times and maps are they never run out of pallets.

This is highly incorrect. This might work out against some Tournament Squads (but I know, every Forum-Killer goes against them all of the time), but not in regular DBD-Games, even with SWF-included. Dropping Pallets immediatly and not killing the team by doing so would work at max on Ormond.

Most Maps dont have many Pallets, even tho they are safe, which creates some bad situations (and honestly, there should be way more Pallets, but less safe ones) where god Survivors can run around Killers who need to break the Pallets and bad Survivors throw the few Pallets on the Map so that their team does not have any ressources left.

Like, I regularly have games where Shack Pallet is gone at 5 Gens. Like, just thrown, who needs it anyway. So saying that Survivors can just play safe and win is not correct at all. This only works if your team is actually doing stuff AND you have the right Map for that, but I can assure you that at least the first point is not given that often.

But a solution for that would be that instead of having 8-12 safe Pallets, every Map has like 20+ Pallets where like 2 or 3 are safe and the rest is quite unsafe. But sadly something like that would not work out since Bloodlust exists.

  • Surveillance is good when paired with Ruin. However, what you have to keep in mind is that once Ruin is gone, you are basically forced to kick Generators to have any value from Surveillance. And kicking Generators is not really worth it, unless you have PGTW, because most of the time you generate more pressure by trying to get into a new chase quickly instead of kicking a Gen (except the Gen is far away from other Gens like a 99% Gen to prevent a 3-Gen or you know for sure that no Survivor will be there for a longer period of time).

BBQ and Thrilling are better for Tracking since they work on their own.

  • Not a big fan of Bamboozle, because it was desigend for problematic windows, but gets its use on Windows which should not be required to be blocked. But I also think that if a Killer runs Bamboozle, they are overall worse at Chasing, so I mostly dont mind it that much (because the Killers in question seem to rely on Bamboozle instead of learning how to run Tiles).

What I wish for is that the notification is louder. They reduced the Range where you hear it, but that makes it impossible to hear quite often. And I dont know why they did it, because it was not in any need of a buff.

    Here we go.

You know that the globe icon also means Windows Store users too, right? I'm also an Xbox player, and I've seen more disconnects from globe icons than I have on Xbox in general.

We've also been trying to end the stupid PC vs. Console wars on here because, surprise surprise, it was proven that PC players aren't as high and mighty as a lot of them made themselves seem!

The argument "Globe Icon does not have to mean Console" does not really work. It works for Console players when they see a Globe, because it can be another Console Player on a different Console OR a PC-Player. But when it comes to PC-Players, it is very likely that a Globe means it is a Console-Player. Since Crossplay between Windows Store and Steam was enabled I have seen like 3 Windows Store-Players.

Of course this does not mean that Console Players DC more often than PC-Players, I have not seen that so far. But a Globe for a PC-Player will mean that it is a player from Console in 99,99% of all cases.

  • IMO it does not have any meaning anymore. I see players doing it while the Killer is not nearby, and when I do it while I get camped, someone is still coming for the rescue (Funfact - that Leatherface did not leave the Basement and the Survivor should have seen that...).

So yeah, I still try to warn players when I get camped, but it does not work. And I ignore it when others are doing it.

Will they be big reworks say a doctor or freddy. Or minor changes like wraith or clown.

Devs said in a recent Livestream that no big Reworks are planned for the near future. I guess Clown will probably get some Love.

  • Two major things (among others already mentioned):

Some players dont want to talk to others. You would also need to have Solo Survivors in mind which dont want to talk to other players while playing, who just want to play their game. Yes, you also have to care for those.

Also, regarding 3rd party software - PS4 and XBox have Voice Comms implemented. But even IF it would be possible to ban EVERY 3rd party voice communication, players can use Discord on their phone, for example. There is no reason to use ingame voice comms. In fact, making it more unpleasant or difficult to play together will only drive away casuals, which means that the overall Balance of SWFs will shift to more competitive teams overall. And I doubt that any Killer would like that.

  • It is 100% needed in this game. Most of the DS I get are usually because I get tunneled, I would guess around 95% at least. But I am not someone who runs around with an active DS, I might do a Gen which is almost finished, but I would do that as well without DS. But overall, I try to get away, get healed and thats it because I dont like how some Survivors use DS.

However, as said, I think it is 100% needed. I had evenings where I did not use DS and I got tunneled every game. And even against some Killers, DS does nothing. A Spirit or Nurse does not care at all.

The sidenote is that some Killers who did not tunnel are hit by DS, but that happens.

I would be totally fine if they would turn it into a true Anti-Tunnel Perk e.g. staying active while slugged and running, but with a short timer or deactivated when doing an Action. But in general, a Perk like DS is needed.

  • The high Usage of Lithe was for all Ranks and Platforms. So it makes sense that it is higher than DS, because Feng is free on some platforms and in general it is a useful Exhaustion Perk for those who dont want to walk because of Sprint Burst.

For Red Ranks, if I remember correctly, they said that Self Care is the most used Perk, BUT this is already a few months ago and as @PigMainClaudette has stated, Killers tunnel a lot more in Red Ranks than before (if I would have to guess, it is because of the Rank Reset which means that worse Killers are brought to Red Ranks and stay there, because they dont get put back that much).

  • Man, that poor Legion player with his Meme-Build.

  • @DarKaron said:

This is the us-vs-them mindset that causes these problems in the first place, my friend.

You don't know what those poor Killers had to endure the match before you. Maybe they got stomped and just want a win. Maybe someone has a toxic outfit, such as Toxic Nea or Bunny Feng, and they're expecting bullcrap. Or maybe they don't yet understand how unfun it is to play against.

    You don't know their lives.

Why is it always like that if Killers do something bad it is like "Oh, you dont know what they had to endure before you" or "You dont know what the Survivors did"? Why do people always feel the need to justify Killer BS?

  • Gamedesign over Balance. Otherwise you can go on forever with that. Like that Meg would be faster than Jane for example or someone like Quention would be fitter than Jeff. Or that Killers should not moonwalk, because have you ever seen a moonwalking Killer in a Movie? Why can Survivors survive getting hit by a Chainsaw?

How do they know how to repair Generators? Why dont they have to study it for a long time before?

Stuff like that. When it comes to balance, it is fine that realism is not the big factor.

Also, on a sidenote - have you seen Huntress? She is not a little girl (except in her head).

  • Not really worth the Perk Slot. It was good with old Prayer Beads, because you did not make any Phasing Sounds and you were able to get closer for a Gengrab. But with Phasing Sounds it is not really worth it, since you might get closer, but the Survivors will be alerted because of the Phasing.

  • Those are people who found their favorite Youtuber who runs around the Killer for 5 Gens and gets their attention by flashlight-clicking. The "problem" is, they somehow skip the step to be good at the game.

Since something similar now happened: What motivates a player to buy DBD on Steam, buy Bubba, just to camp with Insidious and insult players in a way in Postgame Chat in a way that made me hit that Report-Button (so it was quite serious)? With a brand-new Steam-Account with nothing but DBD on it.

  • Maybe you are confusing STBFL with Play with your food, where you would lose Stacks.

  • @Waffleyumboy said:

I guess your point about solo swf being too different is half valid because even though I personally think there are simple steps to be taken to close the gap as much as possible, you are correct in saying that they will always be different experiences(which is a reason I would use to justify bringing solo to swf level).

Your point about killers being impossible to balance because their powers are different is kind of moot. Plenty of other competitive games have shown that you can strive for balance even among characters with varying abilities and strengths. I don't think we should just accept it and move on when we realize that a character is objectively inferior to another in terms of performance.

This point about maps doesn't really make sense because that means a priority of casual play over competitive. I think it would be relatively simple to implement maps in a way that is fair and also random. For example, if the devs could rate a tile's power rating and fill out maps to meet a specific power rating range then theoretically all maps would have similar power levels and some exciting variance still. Obviously for this to work you would also need the algorithm to factor in the strength of adjacent tiles correctly among other things. The concept of survivor and killer sided maps is archaic, maps already naturally swing in some types of killers' favor so there is no need for further incentive for or against certain maps.

Of course if the devs don't care about balance then that's all we need to know to answer this question.

Solo <-> SWF: Solos should be on SWF-Level. But we also know that "Basekit Kindred" was one thing that was asked a long time for, but the Devs buffed Kindred (which is great), but also said in a Livestream that there are no plans to make it Basekit. So I highly doubt that they actually want to take the steps to bring Solo to SWF-Level when it comes to information.

Killer Powers--> Are those asymmetrical games? The only other PvP-game I play is not asymmetrical. Because, if you want to keep the Kit of the Killer (as example - Trapper placing Traps to catch Survivors), you cannot do that much about it. Maybe if you let him Teleport to Traps as a tool for Map Mobility, but this would contradict his Power (since you want to use the Traps in an area and not clustered around the Map). With Killers like Nurse, Spirit, Oni, Hag it would be really hard to bring more simple Killers like Trapper, Wraith or Myers to the same Level of Strength. Except for changing their Kit (see Freddy). And at least when it comes to Perks, BHVR wants to keep the Core Design, and while they did not do that with Freddy (except for the Dream World), I dont think that this would be the norm.

Maps-->Yes, I think DBD is a casual game. And not competitive even if players want to make it competitive. But I agree that giving the different Tile a value and making sure to place them in a way that a Map cannot consist of three T/L walls next to each other and in the next game those are 3 Jungle Gyms, would indeed work. And I did not think about that as a solution.

  • @HEX_MalusGrey said:

It is not impossible but the game would have to change tremendously using statistics and algorythms to pair certain killers with certain maps they are good at and what devs said about MMR. Every killer needs his own ranking so don't go red ranks with a certain killer and red stomped with a different one. When i start to play billy or nurse on red ranks people ask me how i got my ranking. NOT AS NURSE, OBVIOUSLY!

They just don't get it and it's annoying. Can't get better with certain killers if you can't get a hit and your small moments from time to time. But what do survivors know. They think playing a different killer is just as survivor, like changing your player model.

"They think playing a different killer is just as survivor, like changing your player model."

This is honestly true for most Killers, because most of the Killers are pretty simple. And if you are experienced with Trapper, you dont need to go against Baby Survivors with Pig, since they play roughly the same (as an example).

And in fact, they tried different "Ranks" for different Killers with the MMR-System, but it did not really work out. (E.g. I got decent Survivors while playing Nurse and I am terrible with Nurse. Meanwhile, I won 30 games or so with Billy and still got players playing their first game...)

  • Most likely on the 20th, this would be 3 weeks after the PTB. But no official Date is confirmed for now.

If they rework Object soon, then I think a seperate queue will never be required. Like what I said to the other guy, a nod to the SWF would be nice so that you know you'll need to pay more attention

Killers would just use this information to dodge Lobbies. And lose against some Solo Survivors afterwards. cannot really imagine how it is fun to dodge every Lobby when they see that there is a 2 man SWF or players with 1k hours+ in it.

Seeing who was in an SWF after the game would be ok IMO, and I guess it will open the eyes of some players who will notice that they win against 4 man SWFs and lose against Solos.

And well, Object-Rework... Can take a long time until they change the Perk. Its not only recently a problematic Perk.

  • @BitingSea said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1670912#Comment_1670912

It's not that SWF is a problem, SWF perk builds are. If they bring an OoO and multiple DS+UB, you're going to have an EXTREMELY tough game where you require every single ounce of effort in your body. They will guard that OoO, they will have DS to prevent early tunneling, they will be constantly feeding absolute info. A good swf who's focusing will win 75% of their games, if they aren't and they have OoO with DS+UB and others to protect them, they're doing something horribly wrong if they're not against Spirit or Nurse.

The only problem here is Object of Obsession, which is a Perk that is in desperate need of a change. But other than that, there is not much of an issue IMO.

  • Queue Times for SWFs would be high and Queue Times for Killers opting out of SWF would be high. Killers would still face extra-sweaty SWFs who dodge Lobbies to get into Solo Queue Lobbies together.

    Yeah, sounds great.

SWF is not a problem. Stop blaming your losses on SWF.

  • First, Bugs have nothing to do with Balance. Bugs are things which are unintended. And I dont think that DBD will ever be bug-free, but I dont encounter many Bugs in my games.

Second, I think the vast majority of players who play DBD have fun while playing it. Why would you still be playing it if not for fun? Yes, you lose against Survivors. Yes, you get tunneled. But this is not every game and even if someone opens a forum thread to vent about it, this person will most likely have fun while playing DBD.

Regarding Balance, this game will never be 100% balanced. There are too many factors:

Solo vs SWF-->You will not manage to achieve balance for both groups. Even if you do everything to bring Solo to SWF-Level (which is not something the Devs really want IMO), you cannot make them similar.

Killers-->There are so many different Killers with different strength. Like, that guy who puts down Traps so that Survivors step in it will never be as strong as that girl who teleports over the Map or that girl who is invisible while chasing people. This is simply impossible to bring Killers to similar strength Level.

Maps-->There are Survivor-sided Maps and Killer-sided Maps and this is ok in my opinion. Not to an extend like Haddonfield or Ormond, but it is fine if a Map slightly favors Killers or if it slightly favors Survivors. Also, RNG... You can have the same Map with 8 and with 12 Pallets, which makes a difference. If you would remove RNG from the game, you could balance it easier, but I think that RNG is a good thing for Maps.

  • MMR is not enabled, as others have said. But even if they enable it, I am pretty sure it will not work perfectly anyway.

IMO they should stop wasting any ressources on that system, use the Emblem-System, tweak it and bring back a meaningful Rank Reset and the quality of games will increase a lot. At least it will be better if players dont get set back like 1 Rank on "Rank Reset".

You keep saying that this is somehow balanced for the average DBD player but meanwhile you are also saying there are thousands of threads where players are saying they can't complete it.

First, not every DBD-player is also on the Forums.

And second, people are more likely to open Threads when they want to complain and not when everything went right. Which is just human nature.

I once had a match where I was left to die on my first hook by my teammates early in the trial and the killer messaged me afterwards to say “gg” so I just replied with “was it really?” 😂

Yeah, thats what I mean. Like, it should be quite obvious that you would not consider it a "gg" at this point.

  • Depends on the situation. If the game went well and you feel that the other side had fun (or, to be more precise - think that you would have had fun in that situation), a "gg" is completely fine even after winning.

But if I play against some Iri Head Huntress with Ebony and she says "gg" at the end, I will not really be happy about it. At least I know for sure that I will not say "gg" to her.

And if I see that a Killer struggled really hard during a game, I will also not say "gg", if I have the feeling that they did not enjoy the game (because they might think I make fun of them).

  • "Inb4 gEht GuD nEwb I diD iT JuSt FinE. This convo is for the rest of us."

Well, I did not have any problem completing the Rift, but I think I am still allowed to write in this Thread if I like to.

Your ideas are not really good to be honest.

Rift Pass Bonus Rift Fragments-->This would just encourage people to buy the Rift Pass on Day 1 and if they still dont complete it, crying out that it is a scam. This is happening already because players buy the pass because they cannot wait until the end and then complaining that they dont finish the Rift. In fact, it is really fair from BHVR that you a) get all your Cells back on completion and b) can buy the Rift Pass at any point you like. But if you feel pressured in buying it on Day 1 for easier Rift Completion, not really cool.

Less Auric Cells back-->I think the main reason for buying the Rift Pass is that you get the Cells back. This also helps BHVR to estimate how many people might buy it. I am pretty sure, if you would only get back 500 Auric Cells, less people would buy the Rift. And those who already complete it, will have to spend 5 Euros on top of it instead of just using the same 1000 Auric Cells all the time. In general, taking things away from players is not a good strategy.

Less Items in the Rift-->Thats basically the same as less Auric Cells. Why exactly would you like to get the Rift Pass, if you get less? There are already too many empty spots in the free Rift (which can be filled with small amounts of Auric Cells), more empty Tiers in the free Rift would again make players complain and empty Tiers in the Premium Rift would be even worse. There are already a lot of placeholders and I think that the charms can be divided on multiple Rifts (yes, its a Wraith-Tome, but you dont need the same Charm 5 times, you can have it two times and the other variations on other Rifts), but a placeholder is still better than "nothing".

Less Rift Fragments per Level-->This is probably the only reasonable suggestion, but as I said, I think it is fine how it currently is. You cant except to complete a Battle Pass while basically not playing the game. And its not like anyone has to sweat their balls off for the Archives. Like, a friend of mine completed the Rift by playing around 2 hours in the week and 4 hours on Friday/Saturday and doing only the Survivor Challenges. This is fine IMO.

If the Rift gets completed faster, this would mean that players who already complete it, will finish it even faster, which means that they dont have anything to do. Yes, there are the tomes, but at least for me, I prefer them giving Rift Fragments so that I can see the Progression and not just do them for the Lore and BPs. And also, BHVR cut the amount of Fragments via the Archives, which means that too many people completed the Rift for them, so it is unlikely that they will reduce the grind on that one.

In the end, the entire Rift is 100% optional. You dont have to care for it at all, you dont have to pay for it.

  • Thrilling Tremors is better in general, but if you want a Tracking Perk, you should use BBQ. Shows more and gives extra BPs. If you dont have BBQ and wait for it in the Shrine, get Thrilling. But dont see it as a Slowdown-Perk.

Make your choice is nice on some Killers, but more of a niche use. Can be really good on Killers like Hag, but most of the time and for most of the Killers you will not really get benefit out of it.

  • Well, most players have their Main Character. This goes for people who want to get everyone maxed out/with all Perks and those who dont care about that. If you dont want to max out every Character, there is no reason to bring someone above Level 40, since you just get the Perks for your Main Survivor.

And even if you want to max out every Character, he has to be better than your Main Survivor to actually replace him.

Like, I played Felix as long as I got my regular Perk Build on him. Now I just get his Perks on all my Survivors and afterwards I max out the Perks on him and then I will probably never play him.

Due to it not being a priority (far rom it), I doubt we will get it anytime soon; although it seems to me like it is an easy fix, but I may be wrong.

I am pretty sure it would be enough to ensure that you get a guaranteed Daily Ritual of the other side when rerolling it. So if you reroll a Killer Ritual, you get a Survivor Ritual and vice-versa.

Not perfect, but still an option.

Imagine if 4 survivors would be able to drop 12 firecrackers at once.

    That would be hilarious.

But yeah,if they would add those and the regular firecrackers then you would pretty much never get the items, addons or offerings you want as survivor :/

(Which is already hard enough anyways)

Exactly. I mean, in general, Firecrackers are a fun thing, but the Bloodweb is already too grindy. It would be even worse with 1 additional Item and 8 Add Ons.

It,s not the first thing the devs wanted to implement but kinda forget about (rank & devotion rewards, leaderbord etc.).

Hopefully they dont remember those Add-Ons.

  • "Why oh why was the dc penalty removed in the first place, and why is there a button to leave the match."

The DC-Penalty was used to give Streamers huge DC-Penalties despite them not DCing. This happend 3 times already (with turning it on and off between those times), if I am not mistaken. So you can thank those guys who think it is funny to hack so that people get huge penalties.

Button for leaving the Match-->For Emergencies. DCing is totally fine because of RL-Stuff and there are also some Bugs in the game which force the players to DC.

Hook Suicides-->I think they are fine. They cannot really prevented, especially not with a system that randomly kills you on the Hook when it does not register your struggle. And you cannot force players to stay in the game, if two people are dead and 5 Gens to go, I will not struggle when there is no chance ot win.
