yea, killers really got the shaft with the 3 gen nerf. cause I guess defending the last 3 gens was considered "holding the game hostage".
No, the problem was never to defend the last 3 Gens, the problem was that Killers were 3-genning from the start. And since those Killers also decided to never commit chases and basically only stay in their 3-gen, it was indeed holding the game hostage.
And honestly, Killers got the better deal with the changes. They lost the ability to kick Gens an infinite amount of times and getting over the 8 Regression Events is something which almost never happens. But on the other hand they got a buff in Regression on the initial Kick and the removal of Gentapping. Things which happened in every game.

Even if its not applying to all maps its very unbalanced just situation you pick m1 killer like pig, ghostface, legion and get outdoor map with this bug than your chances for win or having normal game without turbo tunneling are super low because there is no way m1 killers can get solid survivors in looping on time on maps that have 14-25 pallets instread of 11-14 not to mention in many cases there is just 3 meters distance between two pallets like how the hell can even some killer get hit there without range attack not a chance.
Why do you try to make a balance discussion out of a Bug?
-
Did you play against/with Nemesis by any chance? I would not be surprised if increasing the Zombie Count would not have caused any Lags when BHVR tested it but causes issues on consoles.

Why am I not surprised that you don’t think it’s that big of a deal. And yes it clearly effect most of the maps, there’s a video that literally shows it. Even if it’s a bug it is not a good reason to try to minimise the problem. I bet you wouldn’t shut down the problem so quickly if this was about ghoul right?
Yeah, yeah. This evil Aven. So evil and biased that you had to create another account because your previous one got banned.
Look, it is a bug and it does not even apply to all maps. If it would do, we would have seen way more people notice it. OP only noticed it because of a Clickbait title of a Content Creator for example.
And yes, since it is a Bug, it should be fixed. Did I ever say anything else? If you see me saying that Bugs should not be fixed, please show me. Otherwise your post is just unreasonable nonsense, but this cannot be true, can it? Nobody would do that on the DBD-Forums, especially not newly created accounts which are totally not from someone who got banned before.

How do you know it's a bug and not an intended balance feature? It's only a bug if it's not intended, and we can't know what is intended by the devs unless we somehow look into their heads. Thinking rationally, this pallet change is perfectly coherent with all of their other balance changes, like what they called "anti-tunnel and anti-slug mechanics". I would even argue these +50% pallets are milder than what they intended to push as an "anti-tunnel", so it could by just a compensation for the cancelled anti-tunnel. Once again, in perfect accordance to the devs' view of the game, so the bug case is much less likely.
It was not announced.
It did only come with a Bugfix Patch and when 2v8 was enabled, which makes it likely that somehow 2v8 Pallet Counts make it to 1v4.
It does not apply to every map, as I have written, I did not notice anything except for maybe one map which had too many Pallets when playing yesterday. Granted, most examples come from Crotus Prenn and I did not play on that yesterday.
If there would have been an actual change, it would be more consistent and not only to a single or very few realms.
-
Depends on the rest of your Build. E.g. if you run PGTW it might be worth pairing it with Eruption. Or if you run Nowhere to Hide, running Eruption is still an option to get more value out of kicks when you are kicking Gens anyway.
IMO Pain Res or Surge are more popular nowadays, but given that some Killers dont really get value out of Surge, Eruption is an option.
According to nightlight it is the 15th most used Perk with almost 7% pickrate, so it is still popular. And given that Nowhere to hide (12,91%) and PGTW (12,87%) are the number 3 and number 4 used Perk, Gen Kick Perks are indeed popular.

I checked Wrecker's too but it seemed fine on my end. One of the corners actually had no Pallets within these 3:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/9AKI868EXIFL/1000012274.jpg
And then i backed up into the opposite corner and the spawns seemed the same as usual
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/T34MOZYPCLI9/1000012275.jpg
Yeah, maybe it was just many Pallets in the regular RNG. I did not test anything in Custom Games, because I only saw that there were too many Pallets on some maps when I already stopped playing.
Overall it just seems like somee maps feature 2v8 Pallet Count.

Did you watch the video? It tracks with my personal testing also.Let's not pretend this isn't a serious issue for killer play right now…
My point is that you call it a Buff while it is very clearly a Bug.

Checked Father Campbell's, Torment Creek, Disturbed Ward (was one cluster of pallets but the rest of the map seemed normal) and the spawns seemed the same as usual. Torment Creek I'd say was actually pretty bad with pallet spawns. I'd say maybe it's only live games affected but OP is in customs as well. Hopefully others can check but I've taken heaps of screenshots and nothing seems amiss
Edit to add - i use Zanshin alot on Freddy, so when i say nothing is amiss i mean compared to my usual games. The spawns all look the same
Nah, it is pretty clear that it is not every Map. I played the whole evening and the only Map which featured more Pallets was a Wreckers Yard from what I have seen. The rest looked fairly normal (Cowshed even with less Pallets than usual, but this was probably the normal RNG).
-
If anything this is a Bug and not a Buff. Not that hard to understand tbh, not every Clickbait-Title is true.
And it clearly does not affect all Maps. I played the whole evening and aside from one Wreckers Yard, the maps looked very normal.
-
Because they would delay the Updates on all platforms just because Nintendo is Nintendo. It is not BHVRs fault that the Switch-Updates are delayed, but IMO it would also be wrong to make it everyones problem.
They should give some form of compensation to Switch-players tho.

honestly I think there’s a high chance that this is intended since disillusion works very similarly to this if you’re running both the serpent and beast soot and that’s been in the game for way longer.
Nah:
This shows it is not intended.
(Or it was intended, but is not intended anymore, who knows…)
But I think that it is more likely that it was never intended, because the interaction seems pretty bonkers. And it can happen that something like this is overlooked with over 40 Killers and it is not like the Serpent-Add Ons were really popular before.
-
Most successful is Nurse, but mainly because it is Nurse, lol.
Other than that, most likely Billy. Who is also my favourite to play as.
-
Never. Unless they want to give Legion a completely new Power for 2v8. Legion should have never been in 2v8 to begin with, the whole point of the Killer is that they can get a very easy first Hit but then have to play as a basically powerless M1-Killer. This just does not work if there is a second Killer running around.
-
@PetTheDoggo said:
Skill floor is not that high in my opinion, but still higher than majority of killers.
Skill ceiling is very high, I would say higher than Nurse in my opinion.IMO this is a fact, that the Skill Ceiling of Blight is higher than on Nurse. Nurse is not that difficult after you finished her learning curve, but once you did that with Blight, there is still A LOT you have to learn to become a very good Blight.

Seriously, the 5 seconds extra endurance is all what is left from the "big" Anti-Tunnel Update. You could try to kill Survivors before they finish all Gens. Like most Killers do nowadays. I bet you had mutliple 4Ks before the one Survivor escaped due to extra 5 seconds of Endurance in the game which prompted you to open this Thread.

Yes, it should be removed. There is no reason why the Killer should be able to cherrypick their Lobby and this is after all the only purpose of the Lobby. Nobody adjusts their Build based on what they see, 3-4 Slowdowns and an Aura Perk (if not 4 Slowdowns) is what you see the most, regardless what the Survivors bring.
Nobody equips Franklins nowadays and even before the Nerf it was only used in events (and there probably out of spite) from my experience.
And if someone does not want to be blinded, they should bring Lightborn every match anyway, since Flashbangs and Perks which grant Flashlights from Chests exist.
But in reality what happens is that the Killer will look at the Survivors and if they see more Items than they want to, they dodge. Or if they are on Steam, they check the profiles and if there is a Survivor with too many hours, they dodge as well.
-
They said in a different post that it might be possible that the Designs which got rejected this time might be used for future Survivors. Which would be fine IMO. Even tho it might take a while until we see them, considering that it seems like most content is licensed nowadays.
For the voting I would also have preferred the younger woman, but I hope that people will at least play the elderly woman if they voted for her. We dont need another unpopular Survivor nobody plays and will therefore almost never receive skins.
(And I also fear that the actual ingame model will look less good than the concept art, because this is almost always the case)

Now that is some seriously spaghetti’d spaghetti code if they can’t even make that change.
To be fair, there have been multiple instances in the past where they changed something and some other thing which was completely unrelated to it was affected by it.
So I would not be surprised if the game would implode if you remove Perk Tiers.
-
Well, thanks for mentioning me. But I am only someone who likes to yap a lot and I would also not say I am really popular here. :P
But thanks for mentioning me! I would also agree with your list or the names you have provided.

I think a casual mode makes no sense at all. Because as you said, people will just sweat in the casual mode because they expect weaker opponents.
We already see this with Events which are supposed to have fun interactions - some players dont care at all about the event interactions and just play as sweaty as possible. And a casual mode would result in exactly that behavior and I think it would be even more frustrating for casual players, because if they queue up in the casual mode, they would expect to not play against sweaty players.

The only people who cannot answer the Survey are those who only play Killer and never Survivor.
Right. So it's perfectly fine for this group of players to be excluded from the survey? What happened to "obviously Survey should be for ALL players"?
So maybe read more than "As a Survivor" before complaining. E.g. you could have written something about Skullmerchant (which I did and I clearly did not call her overpowered). Trapper was another option.
So much discourse on these forums is just y'all intentionally missing the point and thus making any actual conversation impossible. The whole problem is the fact that every question was prefaced with "as a Survivor". Sure, I can type anything I want to into the boxes, but that was not what I was being asked to do.
Of course they should be for all players. But seriously, are there any players out there who never play Survivor, only play Killer and have no idea at all how a Killer might be from a Survivor perspective? I cannot really believe that.
-
After doing the Survey - people complaining about it overreact (once again). The only people who cannot answer the Survey are those who only play Killer and never Survivor.
Even if they are asking for the Survivor experience, you have 3 Killers you can write feedback on (and for each you can pick one out of 4). And you can also choose that you think the power is too weak or what should be changed.
So maybe read more than "As a Survivor" before complaining. E.g. you could have written something about Skullmerchant (which I did and I clearly did not call her overpowered). Trapper was another option.

i honestly don’t blame others if I lose because I just feel like that’s petty. If I lose that’s just my performance at the end if the day.
Exactly. Which is the reason I find Killer less stressful than Survivor.
If I play bad as Killer, I am the one who will have the consequences. If I play bad as Survivor, I might be the reason our team lost.
And since Killer is the Solo Role I am never at risk to lose games because of teammates.
-
I did not notice any changes. But to be fair, I also only play Killers I really enjoy nowadays. I dont care much about winning or losing. Obviously I play to win, but I dont get frustrated when I lose as Killer, since this was on me anyway and since I only play Killers I have fun with and feel comfortable with, I dont really have a bad experience.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you pretty upset with the anti-camping/slugging/tunneling measures getting scrapped? Don't you think that if they'd concerned themselves with Killer feedback in the first place we could've gotten something more measured and proportionate that stood a fighting chance of actually coming to the game?
These kind of rigged surveys are exactly what lead to the nuclear Sinister Grace PTB that had to be entirely scrapped lol.
Those things got scrapped because BHVR tends to do kneejerk reactions nowadays. Which is why I think those surveys are highly questionable since they will not really care for the feedback those provide.
It is probably a waste of time to fill them out. At least if a few forum posts and social media posts of people who have not really tested changes and are against said changes are enough to revert everything.
My post was mainly meant in a way that you act as if this would mean anything that they ask for the Survivor POV. They did before and nothing happened.

I mean did the uninstall survey not have a effect on bhvrs decisions in that example? They pushed the change in the first place because of the survey.
The Uninstall-Survey did get updated since then. At least I am pretty sure it did. (I uninstalled a few weeks ago because I had to move some things around on my PC and noticed that it was different than before)
But yeah, given their track record and the miserable state of Survivor right now - them asking mainly Survivor questions does not mean anything if the feedback gets ignored or changes reverted instantly.
-
Technically they can be removed, because Perk Tiers are pointless nowadays. My favourite example for that is always Rookie Spirit when I get it in Chaos Shuffle. The Perk has a weak effect and yet it requires you to hit Skill Checks and the only reason why it has this activation requirement is because otherwise it would not have anything you can use for Perk Tiers.
But on the other hand, if it requires effort, I dont think it is needed to remove them. With how easy the grind is nowadays, it does not matter if there are Perk Tiers or not.
-
@Mandy said:
the reason that it is in-game is that it links to your game account
Is there any reason for this? As someone who did scientific research, I prefer if surveys are anonymous. Which is why I usually remove the link to the Cloud-ID when filling out one of those surveys.
And I would not really count that you can then check the stats of the people to see what roles they play. IMO everyone who reads those surveys should be able to see if the person filling it out actually wants to provide useful feedback or is basically just trolling.
-
Most likely under 1k, but I am very sure that I was not above 1k hours at all.

This whole survey will be sabotaged with bad and misleading info. This should only be available for players that mainly play killer. Why do the keep doing this?
Dont worry, if the Devs try to implement anything you might not like based on this survey, just spam the forum and social media with dozen of Threads to get it reverted.
Worked a bunch of times, will work again :)
On a more serious note - obviously Survey should be for ALL players. Not only those that might agree with your point of view. -
Yeah, I was also not really a fand of the Maps they brought in 2025. Ormond Lake mine in late 2024 was probably one of the best Maps they ever created, but they fumbled afterwards.
- The FNAF Map is alright IMO. I would not say that I love it, but I would also not say that I hate it. I am not really into FNAF so I cannot really see how much of a disappointment it is for the Lore of the game, but I never really had a bad game on it or I never had the situation that I was frustrated when getting it.
- Now, when we look at Fallen Refugee… THIS one I am very disappointed with. I am a fan of TWD and when I heard that there will be no map, I was a bit bummed, because there are quite a few cool locations they would have been able to use. The map was somewhat of a surprise, but not a pleasant one. It is one of the most boring maps, because it just C&Ps the same Rock Loop and the unique Tile (I would not call it a building) is just a Jungle Gym with a Skin. In my opinion the license holders probably wanted a Map quite last minute and BHVR has put their intern to work and that intern created this Map in 3 hours. If I would want to make a comparison, I would say it is like Lost Izalith from Dark Souls 1. They should have just not put a Map at all and people would have been happier. It is really sad that the show only gets half a tile which represents the hospital from the start and half a tile which represents the prison, one of the major locations of the show.
- And last but not least Dead Sands - I think this map is just extremely boring and maps without a proper Main Building should not exist in 2026 DBD. I was fine with maps not having a Main Building a few years ago and they even added one on Shelter Woods. But in 2025, a new map should not just feature the Shack as the only landmark. That it is very imbalanced adds to this, especially after they also nerfed Eyrie, which is fine to play on as Killer IMO, there was no need to put such a killer-sided map in the game like Dead Sands.
So I hope they will do better, I want more of the quality of Ormond Lake Mine and not intern work like Dead Sands or Fallen Refugee.

The only real counter to boons is Shattered Hope which nobody runs because of how situational it is, so now another perk that is slightly better really does not kill boons. Both that perk AND a boon have to be equipped for that aspect of the perk to be triggered. If the survivors choose then to not do totems at all, the only value that perk gets is if they have another that blocks generators which the survivors would have had to deal with anyway.
Boons have to be alive before they even get killed.

Not everyone likes the Mori animations. For me, I like to see them once, but then dont really care about them. But I only really abandon on the really cringe Moris like Ghouls, which are also longer to watch.
For the Killer player there is 0 difference anyway, they want to see the animation and get to see it.
-
Its funny how the same people who were flooding the Forums when the Devs tried to implement Anti-Tunneling are now complaining that Survivors complain about a new Killer.
That there is a lot of Feedback on Vecna is understandable. He is the new addition and probably the Killer people play against the most. But people also say that Nurse and Blight should be nerfed. But the thing is that saying that a newly released Killer needs some changes will more likely lead to anything than saying that Nurse or Blight need changes, since they are in the game for years, deserve Nerfs for years and yet only got very small changes over time.
And to be honest, Vecna can have some downsides, his power-spamming is a bit too much. Especially when you consider that he only needs 2 Hits to activate his Worldbreaker-ability. So quickly to activate ability paired with almost no cooldown is not really the way to go IMO.

I've seen as high as 124 winstreak on Henry already. in less than a week. "easy wins" btw!
M1-Killers are just a strawman. The people who say that M1-Killers are dead when change X will happen are not playing those Killers anyway and will continue to not play them if they got their will with their Strawman.
-
It would not. But I dont really see any ideas outside from "Buff Killer X". Because in the end, it is important that you keep the identity of the Killer. E.g. you can make Trapper into another Dashslop-Killer, but this would not really be the Killer people like to play.
I also dont think that your idea is that great for Trapper, since it would probably only buff his most unfun playstyle and does not do much else for him. Changes I would make for Trapper:
- Let him carry more traps, but not all of them. One more would be fine. (Hens had the idea that there are not 8 Traps on the map but 4 and he gets 2 when he picks up one of those, which would also be an option)
- Increase the Setting Speed
- Make it harder for Survivors to escape on the first tries. Currently it is 16,67% per attempt with a maximum number of 6 attempts. I think having a guaranteed escape after 6 attempts is fine, because this would mean that the Killer was so far away and did not really care for the Traps in that specific area. But I would say that the first three attempts should be very unlikely to escape close to impossible. Then the 4th should be more balanced, the 5th should be a high possibility of escaping and the 6th guaranteed. This would remove frustrating situations where the Survivor escapes on the first try, but makes it reasonable to escape from the 4th try onwards.
- Changes his traps in a way that they are always of similar color like the floor of the map. So you have grey traps for The Game, yellowish for Eyrie of Crows etc.
I think those things would make him more interesting and would buff him. But in the end, if you want to keep his identity, he will never be a strong Killer.
Then I also think it is fine that we have different qualities of Killers, because some are just more simple to play. And IMO the simple to play Killers should never be the strongest Killers. You mention Wraith and I would agree with the Tierlist you posted that he is low B. But I think this is completely fine and reasonable, because he is a very easy Killer to play while still being effective. The problem is more that there are Killers in high A-Tier (*cough*Ghoul*cough*) which are at best Wraith-Level when it comes to how easy they are to play, but far stronger. And this also hurts the pickrate of easy to play, but lower Tier Killers, because if people want to win, they will just play Ghoul and not Wraith.
And last but not least - it would also not hurt to nerf the strongest Killers. Since her implementation Nurse is on top of every Tier List. And it would be nice if there would at least be some discussion if she is the best Killer in the game, because currently there is none and everyone who creates a Tierlist puts her on the top spot. So the best Killers can also get some Nerfs, especially because those are also holding back the weaker Killers. It is way harder to implement general Killer Buffs, because they benefit the strong Killers as well as the weak Killers. And something which would help C- and D-Tier Killers will be too much for S- and A-Tier Killers. And something which would not make S- or A-Tier Killers really stronger would probably not help the lower Killers either.
Both sides of the spectrum need to be tackled. Otherwise we are at the point where the balance moves at a snails pace, because the Devs constantly need to juggle between new content and old content. And they will always prefer new content, since it generates them money (and old content mainly if it helps them get money as well… I am of the strong opinion that Myers was only buffed because they lost the license to make a bunch of money with him before it is removed from DBD).
(It would also help if the Devs would reduce the number of Chapters to 3 Chapters/year. This would allow them some time to actually balance things. Because they are showing that 4 Chapters/year plus several Paragraphs is just not possible for them)
-
No, we wont. Whenever they will try something, people will just spam the Forums and Social Media. Asking for Anti-Tunnel or Anti-Slugging will just get you the silent treatment from the Devs, because implementing things and tweaking them are not an option anymore nowadays. Kneejerk reactions are the way they are doing things now.

Lobby or in this case killer shopping. Honestly, they should take the opposite way. Take it away from survivory, too. Nobody should be able to check anything before the loading screen.
^ this is the way to go.
@Topic:
- Not sure if this will ever come, when they changed Survivor Movement they also said that they are working on improving the animations you mentioned. And this was years ago.
- Yeah, ingame comms would be nice, but should obviously be a chatwheel or something similar.
- I dont know why Teammate Perks are not visible. It is information which SWF gets for free and Solos should also have that information. Does not mean that everyone would use that information, but I would totally let the person with We Will Make It unhook someone or want to show others that I have Deliverance.
- Absolutely not. IMO information should be removed, not added. Nobody should see the profiles of others, this would actually reduce Lobbyshopping. It would just increase the rate of dodging when Survivors can do what Killers already can do, but to even the playing field, the Killer should not be able to see the profiles of Survivors and not your proposed way.
- Eh, whatever. It should be 8 Perks, but I think BHVR is keeping the number of rotating Perks low to encourage people to actually buy the Chapters.

We don't really know if this the case because they added voice lines to the old resident evil survivors when they did project w but didn't replace sounds.
edit : nevermind i didnt consider the possibility the brought back the same people
I believe in this case it was probably request of the licensors to do new voicesYeah, in RE they probably got the same people, because the timespan between their initial release and the new voicelines was way shorter. Here we are looking at around 5 1/2 years of time difference for Stranger Things.
But yeah, it could also be the request of the license holders. And I can also put my tinfoil hat on and claim that the license holders saw Steves with Scene Partner and demanded a voice change because of that.
-
The change came mainly because of their obsession with voicelines. They added voicelines to those characters, but since the original voice actors who did the screams and grunts of pain back in the day were not around anymore, new ones were used/hired. And this also resulted in new screams and grunts of pain.
This will happen more often in the future since they will probably also give the original Survivors voicelines at some point.
And well: "Nobody asked for this change"… Technically many people wanted voicelines. Obviously they would have wanted some of the original voice actors, but this did not happen.
-
This is all because of their obsession with voicelines. When the original voice actors are not around anymore to work on the new voicelines, they bring entire new ones to record the new voicelines, which will also mean that the grunts of pain and screams will be changed.
Expect this to happen more in the future when they start to give the original Survivors voicelines.
-
Yes, there should 100% be a toggle. For me voicelines on Characters really kill the enjoyment to play them, especially when they are bad. Like, I hate Orela just for her stupid voicelines. No offense against the actor, but the person who wrote that stuff. Even worse that you hear it when you are not playing her.
Ideally I would like to have a Toggle for each character, since I do like Voicelines on some characters. E.g. I like Wesker or Unknown very much. But if the only possibility would be to have a Toggle for on or off for all characters, I would be totally fine with having it off for all of them.
@tjt85 said:
I like the voice lines, personally. But a toggle to disable them for the peope that don't would be a good feature.
When BHVR do get the genuine actors in to record lines for the game it can really add authenticity and value to the experience of playing as them. Alan Wake, Nic Cage and Chucky are so much better with the voice lines than without.
But then you have cases like the new additions for Stranger Things (no disrespect to their VAs), but it really kills the experience of playing these characters because it's so obviously not them. It really takes you out of it. Plus, there's no consisentency. Ash should have voice lines in the trial. The Rain skin that I paid £15 for should have voice lines in the trial too, not in the lobby where I'm probably no going to hear them very often because the queues are either too fast or too slow (and I've gone to make myself a cup of tea). Rain's VA is not Cailee Spaeny but she is pretty close!
I think I read somewhere that they might add voice lines for the original survivors one day. I don't know what I'd do if they gave my girl Meg a voice I just couldn't stand.
"When BHVR do get the genuine actors in to record lines for the game it can really add authenticity and value to the experience of playing as them."
Only if done properly. The TWD-Characters are atrocious, since the celebrity voice actors are not forced to do Grunts of Pain or Screams. And therefore with the TWD-Characters you have the original Actors doing the voicelines and other people doing screams and grunts. And it is sooo bad. Really killed those characters for me and I was actually planning to P100 them, but now I am just salty that I paid 15 Bucks for the Daryl-Skin.

Yes, read this as well. And already dreading the day it will happen (and it will happen, because they believe that everyone loves Voiceliens). Might make me uninstall the game if there is no toggle to silence the characters again.

Best change they could have done. Steves with Scene Partner were only annoying, it was not even funny anymore when every Steve was doing the same stuff.

A friend and I tested it out ourselves in the PTB, it seemed a tad too strong but if you say so then Ill have to see myself when the chapter releases. (p.s. I dont watch dbd youtube shorts lol)
Its more like things like this are just happening in fabricated scenarios. Which is why I said Youtube Shorts, because this is the content that some content creators bring to show "super OP Perk Combos".
I mean, you can test it, but expect it to be mediocre and a waste of Perk Slot(s).

No changes to the new Teamwork perks? With the 5% repair bonus just you and 1 friend can complete a gen in ~22 seconds if you build around it.
Is there to be an expected nerf?Maybe look at the Perks in actual gameplay and not in Youtube-Shorts? They are giga-bad and if someone says otherwise, never take their opinion serious anymore.

No. Removing map variants was the best thing they did for me in 2025. The variants were low quality compared to the originals, it was quite obvious that they did not spend much time creating them. Also they were not really balanced.
E.g. MacMillan was always considered as one of the most balanced realms, yet the variants for each map were horrible to play on. You also did not need 5 versions of Badham Preschool (which you even name as an example, I guess you want to play more on it if you want Map Variants back).
But the worst offender has always been Ormond - Ormond Lake Mine is one of the best maps they ever created and yet you never saw it, because two horrible variants of the original Ormond Map were also in rotation.
