The new one is better. It feels better to use and you gain way more BPs.
I only used the old one because I was running DS before it got nuked, and sometimes the DS-Skill Check was cancelled and it turned into a Wiggle Skill Check, which let you not use DS. But overall, I always prefered the Skill Checks for wiggle.
-
Since the Hemorrhage-Buff, Solidarity should really be reworked. Because the Perk became pointless.
-
Not really. I tried it out, but I think the current success of this build is mainly due to many players playing Wesker AND RPD being a common Map (RPD is really small now + 40m TR = many Stake Out-Stacks).
Without Stake Out, it is way harder to hit the great Skillchecks on a constant basis. So I would guess, once RPD is back to normal in the Map Rotation and/or Wesker is less popular, the build will vanish.

I played with Hyperfocus, Stake Out, Resilience and This Is Not Happening and found that even with a build specifically dedicated to it, TINH is still garbage.
It is not really worth taking. If you are good at hitting Greats, you will be better off with Streetwise instead of This is not Happening.

Fascinating how the same people that complain about only facing nurse, blight and now wesker. Are the people that cherrish not facing hag anymore.
You would see way more complaints about Hag if she would be more popular to play. But luckily she is also very unfun to play, so despite her being one of the strongest Killers, she is very rare.
-
Did the Survivor have Bamboozle?
-
First of all, this would just mean that every Survivor would just try their 3 escapes, because they have nothing to lose.
Second, if someone does not want to play, stop trying to make them play. At best they will be AFK after the unhook, at worst they are sandbagging their team. People who want to go out of the match should just be allowed to leave, there is no point in keeping them.
-
This is one change Sacrificial Wards need - they should block the Map completely if a Map Offering is used. Because you can get unlucky and STILL end up on the same Map.
Second change would be to refund it if no Map Offering is used.
Because in their current state, they are probably the most pointless green Bloodweb-Item.

Idk why you again try to twist my words, I was the happiest man alive when the black screen in basement bug for survivors got fixed or doctor's disable of ds when survivors are in p3.
You dont know obviously what I complained or didnt complain about in the past and I dont blame you, but stop trying to villainizing me only cuz you disagree with me. Makes you look childish.
It does not matter if something benefits Survivors or Killers. If it is unintended, it should be fixed. And this is what they did.
I also did not mean you specifically with "players", otherwise I would have said "you". But it is a common thing that DBD-players complain about the many Bugs of this game, but they also complain when Bugs which helped them get fixed.
It is totally fine that Dredge is not able to utilize Bloodlust in a better (and unintended) way. If someone wants to bloodlust, they should at least spend time for that. It remeains cheap, but is at least time-consuming. But regardless how someone feels about this, the most important thing is that it was a Bug and Bugs should be fixed.

I get the strong feeling you dont get at all what the topic here is. Because with the removal of this on Dredge is beeing forced to do exactly that what you are describing. Which means in other words it is bad.
It is even worse that Dredge can utilize Bloodlust while spending less time than other Killers. Does not make bloodlusting less cheap.
It was a Bugfix, funnily the players always complain about Bugs in DBD, unless they favor them...

Funny arent we, sry if I triggered you somehow although no clue why you are so hostile towards me.
Or you just bloodlust and get a down + get rid of the pallet, seems to me the better outcome which also works quiet often in my favor btw, I would stop doing it if wouldnt work so well so ye.
Which is exactly the reason why Bloodlust should be weaker and not stronger (as the Devs did that). It is just cheap that Killers just run around Pallets which should be broken, because they know they will catch the Survivor eventually.
And glad that it at least became harder for Dredge to do this cheap tactic (or "strategy", "tech" or whatever the DBD-Community want to call this), because the Devs fixed the respective Bug.

Dont need to turn my words, I never wrote and meant this. And yes that way Dredge is now forced to fully bloodlust like any other Killer on certain dropped pallet, in your words "fun" right?
You know, there is a possibility to press "Space" (or whatever System you are now on) and break a Pallet. I know, this is a very advanced trick, but I wanted to share it with you.
-
Bloodlust = "super fun chase aspect". Ok.
Was quite clearly a Bug. Using a Killers Power should disable Bloodlust, no reason why Dredge should be different.

I'm fine with Reassurance telling the killer it's been used because the ideal gameplay situation was to get them to stop camping and do something else.
Of course, after it got whacked with the nerf bat, killers... aren't actually incentivized to leave the hook anymore, even if they do notice Reassurance. So.
I mean, when Reassurance was actually decent, yes, the notification was fine. But now with its weak state, it is not really needed. And in the end, the Killer will notice it anyway.
-
Reassurance should not have such a short distance in the first place, at least not after the Nerf. It should also not notify the Killer that it is used. (They will notice it anyway, but at least not super-obvious)
-
Look, the Killer is a strategic mastermind. Look at all this strategy they are using, I bet they worked hard for that.
-
Well, the distance is still 6 meters. And the Killer still gets a very obvious notification that the Perk was used. Despite the Perk nerfed that much.
So, yeah...No Reassurance against camping Basement Killers allowed.
-
It is region- and MMR-based.
Obviously Region-Based because you will only be matched with people in your region. If some NA-Server is missing Killers and has a Killer incentive and my EU-Server is missing Survivors, I will have a Survivor-Incentive. Why should I have a Killer Incentive for a Server I am not even playing on?
And MMR-based as well, if you have a different Rating, you might have another incentive. e.g. Killers are needed at low MMR, so you will have a Killer incentive, but if your friend plays and there is a need of Survivors at high MMR, they might have a Survivor incentive.
E.g. yesterday my friend I was playing with had 100% Survivor incentive, I only had 25%. At some point I had 100% on Survivor and he had 50% on Killer.
-
It was obviosly a Bug. I mean, the amount of BPs was insane sometimes.
-
This happens when the Devs make tunneling and camping super-easy.
-
All of them, minus the AoT-Charms and the RE-Charms.
In the end, way too many, especially since I only use the Pride-Charm, the most recent Tome-Charm and the most recent Rift-Charm.
-
I would not bet that it stays that way. Because double incentives dont really help when you just get 5k BPs because you get camped and tunneled.
So currently it helps, but I dont think that this will last forever.

So you think adding a new cosmetic outfit for the same survivor every patch is ok? Lmao
Yes. Sorry, BHVR is a company and companies want to make money. And creating a Cosmetic for Feng or Adam will cost them roughly the same. So who do you think will get the cosmetic? Feng, which will be bought by hundreds of thousands of people or Adam, who will be sold a few hundred times?
I dont understand why this is so hard to understand, everytime when Feng gets a cosmetic, the same topic arises (and she does not even have so much more cosmetics than Survivors like Meg or Felix...).

All they did was copy paste Jill's cosmetic onto Feng. Hate how Bhvr gives her new outfits every patch
Yep. Unthinkable that BHVR wants to make money and creates cosmetics for the popular Survivors and not for the 3 Adam-Mains out there.
-
Last time I had this, the driver of my GPU was outdated. Maybe check this as well. (Only happened once and updating the driver solved the problem)
-
Just play the game normally, you will get it eventually.
I dont really understand why people want to play to get those Achievements. Especially because the reward for completing a game is almost non-existent.

When killer perks get buffed, they go up by 2-10%. When survivor perks get buffed, they get doubled.
That's just the state of the game.
And this, Kids, is why comparing numbers of things which are not compareable is not really smart.

Just play, you will get it eventually.

Send us another picture with a before because it says you got 84k. It has been working for me.
You can see it in the first screen that there are 54k before the Match.
@Topic:
Maybe it is the SWF-Bug once again if you were not the person who opened the Lobby. I will test it as well once my friend is online.
-
Were you in an SWF? There was a bug back then that only the person who invited the other party members got the incentive.
-
Too new. Those are the most recent DLCs, so they are not discounted.
-
@Mandy said:
The DLC is not released until 12pm ET - which is when it's purchasable in Stores. The characters can be purchased with Auric Cells in game only as of right now.
Is there any possibility to change that?
Back then when updating the game took very long it was quite okish that you did not get the chance to buy the DLC right away. But right now I patched the game in a few minutes and now I am waiting for the DLC to be released, since I have a lot of BPs to spend.
-
Honestly, since the change to 5 seconds base endurance I have seen almost no BTs on other Survivors (I am still running it).
I expect that there will be even less BT-Users when it is 10 seconds of base Endurance.
-
I have never read a single complaint about Blast Mine.
-
Yeah, but only because I am a completionist. The Survivors have nothing going for them, so I will just bring them to P9 and then only touch them when I have a Daily.
For Wesker, depends how much fun I will have when playing him. If I have fun playing him, I will play him on a regular basis, if not, same like the Survivors - P9 and never touching again.
So not really a special Chapter for me.
-
This would only be relevant in a situation where the last Survivor is trying to open the door and lets go before the first light appears. So it would remove the one thing the Survivor can actually do when they are the last person and the Hatch was closed.
Other than that, the only information the Killer would get would be that the Door is at 99%. And this would not help at all.
Pointless when the Survivors finished the Gens and lowering the chance for the last Survivor. Not a good idea.
-
@Biscuits said:
I feel like this would instantly be abused by bully squads to essentially work around MMR.
How exactly when one of them will have a penalty, meaning that all of them will have a penalty?
-
Next on the list will be Twins, based on a Livestream a few months ago.
Apart from that, both Nurse and Myers. Nurse for being broken and Myers for being powercreeped (when I started playing he was considered an A-Tier Killer, now he is often named as the weakest Killer in the game).

It is totally possible, difficult yes, impossible no.
Read again. I wrote AFTER changing the Tombstones, the Achievement will not be possible anymore. The Tombstones 100% deserve a Rework, they are heavily outdated.
When it comes to being possible, yes, it is possible. I did it multiple times.
-
The Tombstones should be reworked to not mori Survivors and the Achievement should be removed (because it is not possible to fulfill it anymore).
Removing the Counterplay from the Tombstones is wrong, because not everyone using them is going for the Achievement, so having no way of avoiding being killed without even getting hooked once in regular games would be bad.
-
It would make sense to bridge the gap between Solos and SWF. Especially because you would know stuff like the other Survivor having Discordance so that you know that you dont need to go for them if they are hooked and have the Perk active.
However, it would also increase the amount of Lobbydodging. Like, you see that this guy is doing his Adept David? Might be possible that many players will dodge. Or see that two Survivors in your team are running Self Care? Would you really stay in that Lobby, knowing that those two muppets will spend over half a Gen to heal themselves?
-
IMO the Perk is not really worth taking anymore. I did not think it was a strong Perk to begin with after they buffed it. But now with Iron Will being useless, it does not really help that you can hide Scratchmarks and Blood if your Grunts of Pain are still audible.

I see your point but let's not forget that Hillbilly is also incredibly hard to play and therefore should be more rewarding when played right. For his chainsaw I'm almost certain that his collision zone on objects does not equal the survivor's. You can literally bump into things that are out of your sight but glide around survivors that are a little off center.
I mean, I agree that Billy is hard to play and that other Killers (*cough*Nurse*cough*) are easier to play and more rewarding. In general, you can win most of your games with all of the Killers in the game, so you can also 4K with Sadako who is weaker than Billy but simple to play.
But I dont think that he is not rewarding or not rewarding enough, because you can have way more fun when playing Billy compared to other Killers.
It is just that it can be an awkward experience since they decided to change animations and FoV for him.

Actually you failed. A survivor who doesn´t move will create the annoying crows. Easy to find unless the killer just afks (which is a different issue).
But there are a lot of survivors who will move in an attempt deny the killer the hook. Something comparable to disconnecting at the last hook. Which is totally pointless, absolutley non beneficial for the survivor but still happens.
Even if the Survivor does not move, there is nothing they can do to speed up the 4 minutes of Bleedout. The Killer on the other hand can reduce the time Survivors are staying at an open Exit pretty easy.
-
@AGM said:
I mean, next patch they're finally going to implement bp bonuses for the role that is more needed. I believe that will fix a lot of queue time problems.
The incentives will help. But I already see Killers complaining that it is constantly on Survivor (and this time without being bugged), because there are just too few Survivors playing since 6.1.0.
But then again, it depends how exactly the games are played out. No incentive will bring people to play Survivor if it is as miserable as it currently is. 100% Bonus-BP dont really matter if you get camped and tunneled out with 5k BPs total, making it 10k.
-
I did not notice any difference when playing as Billy.
-

I´m not trying. Did you?
I mean, you tried to compare something which is not comperable. And then you tried to make it comperable by adding something (the slugged Survivor moving away), despite people left on the ground for Bleed-out, even if they did not move (and even have AFK-Crows, indicating their position).
So yeah, you tried. And failed.
-
@Tsulan said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3155176#Comment_3155176
Comparable, because the slugged survivor can stay where the killer left him, but some decide to hide from the killer until they bleed out.
Nope, not at all. Sometimes you are just left bleeding out, despite not moving.
But nice try.
-
Strength-wise Billy is fine. He does not need any Buffs to enhance his strength.
But QoL-Updates would be nice. The animations and the FoV should really be fixed. It is bearable with Shadowborn, but you should not have to run a Perk to have a good feeling when playing Billy. His Chainsaw-Hitbox also can be smaller, this would make it a bit harder to get Chainsaw-Hits (since you actually have to aim properly), but would help with not bumping into things just because his Chainsaw-Hitbox is massive.
-
@Tsulan said:
Yeah its a bad habit. Like staying at the exit gate and waiting for the killer/timer to end.
People shouldn´t do both things. But here we are.
Not compareable since the Killer can speed this up by forcing them out. But I know - they might be TEABAGGING. OH NO!!!!
A Survivor on the ground just has to wait 4 minutes until Bleedout. Without anything to speed that up. (So even if it cannot be speed up, it is already double the time the Killer has to wait if they decide to NOT force the Survivors out)
@Topic:
For some reason Killers think that anything below a 4K is not worthy. I mean, they probably get some power-rush if they manage to get this far, because they showed so much skill.../s
Slugging for the 4K is a waste of time, I only do that if I want the 4th Survivor dead (because they were a dick or not helpful to their team) or if they are very close nearby when I down the 3rd Survivor. Other than that, if they get Hatch, it is whatever. Its not like I lost the game if there is a Hatch-Escape.
