He had 2nd highest kill rate behind Freddy in red ranks based on BHVR data released Q4 2020 and was number 4 in kill rates in overall ranks.
Doctor got new tools with Starstruck since then and even buffs to Iron Maiden. Even with Lucky Break getting buffed, he can quickly restart chases with Static Blast.
I think meta is shifting more in his favor and he is a versatile killer who even green/purple ranks don't know how to play against him. Im rank 11 rn and I get matched with purple and red and have been fairly consistently getting 2-3k with Doctor.
when will people stop using those kill rate. It was so high be because not a lot of people play him. All of the mobility and training killers got better with star struck. I feel like he’s seen often because he’s easy to play has,and new player friendly with his tracking ability

Doctor/Huntress are top tier so why wouldn't they be used a lot.
Trickster/Demo/Wraith are new or had recent changes so people want to try them.
Bubba/PH are good killers and easy to pick up.
So usage makes sense. As I climb rank though, Nurse is seen more often.

Freddy add-ons changes make them worthless to use. I doubt people would ever use them.
Hundreds iri head should be remove it it kept in the state it in and the soldier puttee is the worst ultra rare in the game. No idea why they thought it was a good idea to make it an add-on.
Coldwind farm might be smaller but I just only played two game on it so it hard to tell yet.
Victor changes might still be bad unless we know what movement speed he's at while in the successful cooldown.
Doctor looks nice and the new reverse skillcheck caught me surprised.
The demo changes look nice but I wonder why they didn't decrease the time it takes to open a portal but that just me complaining.
All in all I think the chapter was fine

Not many people play her in higher ranks so, and the majority of people that did pull trap a survivor then tunnel hard. that’s why it was so high kill rates don’t always determine how good a killer is

The problem is when the survivors are so immersed that nobody is doing gens because they are outright terrified. Killers find survivors by them doing gens. If no gens get done then killer has no info on where the survivors are. I had a game as freddy on the swamp map where 2 survivors were left and there were still 3 gens to do (5 gens total) all of the gens were in a line near killer shack so i could go down the line and tele back to the first. None of the gens were touched once for around 15 minutes. It was so stinkin frusturating. I ended up looking for them around the rest of the map (i figured i could easily loose 2 gens b4 i cared) i found one of them in the basement (main building) and once i hooked them the other survivor finally came out of hiding. In the end it was super un-fun and unsatisfying. Waste of a 30 minute match.
TLDR: when survivors get so spooked that they dont touch the gens it makes the game boring for everyone
Those games are hell. Last time me and my friend played, we did 4 gens while the other 2 kids sat in different corners of the map. We both died and the other 2 didn’t move much but one was eventually found and died. The other got hatch then proceeded to call everyone else bad.

What if I do both? I’m not good in chases so I just sit on gens. But if the killer gets to close(not just the tr but o the point where if I don’t move they’ll see me) I’m gonna hide till they leave

I play Console only queue's and they are fine.
I won't be turning on Crossplay until the Devs acknowledge the shitshow that is Console DBD, which they promised to fix way back in March of 2019.

My Xbox just stoped working one day while playing dbd. It froze and wouldn’t turn off so I unplugged it and now it won’t open a single thing so I had to get a whole new Xbox. F

I am honestly struggling to play solo survivor myself because every single match I get console survivors who are crouching/walking around, waiting to insta-save their team for easy points, wasting every single pallet on the map, or simply not saving their team mates at all. I can't tell you how many times I have died on first hook because they're too scared to even walk. It is absolutely infuriating to deal with when you just want normal matches. I don't even care about winning/losing. I'm just tired of seeing my team mates literally doing nothing all game.

I play Doctor too and Whispers is a key part of my build. Non-whispers Doctors use Static Blast to find survivors. I use it to guarantee madness level increase or confirm if they are hiding in a locker in my TR. 60s cooldown is too long for Static Blast. If it were 30s then Whispers wouldn't be needed as much. Matches last an average of 10 minutes. So you only get 10 Static Blasts per match essentially. If you waste the first 3 trying to find survivors then your match will be even shorter as you are probably not pressuring gens.
I do just fine with what I have and usually just run a range addon with, unnerving, lullaby, bbq, and overcharge and get 3 to 4kills almost every game.

SMH. This is a horrible idea. There should be 8 hatches that spawn already opened at five gens and the killer should be stuck for 2 minutes with a survivor version of corrupt. That would make it fair

No perk in this game reduces the time to break a pallet with your power. In fact there's only one thing that's gonna be able to do that and that's Demo's new add-on.
I didn’t mean time it takes to break it I meant the time you have to wait after hitting a shred.

Doctor is the number 2 with most kills in red ranks and number 5 overall from stats posted last year. A good doctor is scary. He's my main and I enjoy him immensely!
I wonder if its more of his power is more complex so people get turned off by him, so survivors aren't use to playing against him. Ive seen ranks 10-15 pallet camp and I laugh as I hit shock therapy lol
It’s people not playing him. If the amount of games I get with 3 to 4 kills is honestly surprising. People don’t expect you to be able to find them immediately cause you can shock half the map. What perks do you run, I don’t find many other doc mains so I’m curious

I've seen many killers who rely on Whispers, and those are the ones that have the biggest issues indoors. Indoor maps are the #1 reason I use Spies and/or Surveillance. Gotta rely more on game sense and audio than line of sight, too.
tl;dr Indoor maps are just as viable for killers as open maps, just require different skill set.

hearing that beautiful laugh from lil hermy anytime I do anything at all. It calms my nerves and allows me to keep my cool and get consistent 3-4 kill games with no gen defense or regression.
