  • I kept feeling I was being matched against new rank 20 Survivors or something so I'll be toying around with Survivors. I give loads of second chances and I keep finding out I'm playing against purple and green ranks not new players.

  • I feel like overcharge will be good to locate Survivors attempting to work on gens.

If unrelenting works with shred then it could be good.

I've heard Spirit fury enduring is good but I'm having some really fun matches with dark devotion, it just hides the sound of your footsteps.

  • No BBQ = the killer won't have much reason to stray very far from you. It's kinda good for both killers and Survivors

  • The Scoops Ahoy outfit is an additional cosmetic which is separate to the chapter dlc.

Scoops Ahoy Steve outfit costs 1080 auric cells, it's kinda expensive but it is a licensed one and you'd have to expect it. Most items in the cosmetic store is pretty expensive all round.

The additional items you get for buying the chapter as a whole is a torn version of Nancy's top and rolled up sleeve top on Steve.

  • I think it should have been hex: Cruel Confinement Whenever a Survivor vaults a window it is automatically blocked by the entity for 10 seconds. This totems effects last 20/40/60 seconds after the totem is destroyed.

  • Q - How are you going to try to appeal to the influx of new players coming in for the Stranger Things chapter?

  • Definitely not a flop but they've had a few hiccups. They're obviously trying new things and aiming to make progress on certain issues so I'm fine with the Chapter on how it is.

I just wish it was a double Bloodpoint week. I bet it'll be over the weekend when I can't get on😣.

  • He feels clunky and I don't like hearing my own footsteps other than that he's pretty cute.

  • See if your menu music is turned down. Mine was and I thought the same.

  • When lobbys bug out too you have to close the game and load it back up to start a new one.

  • I'm yet to play demogorgan but as you said everyone should be chill.

An extremely minor nerf to missed shred attacks in return for quieter portal plays, footsteps and an insta break on pallets. I say that they've done a really good job of this.

  • I mean you're not going to know if the swf will play really toxic before the match starts. So how can you bring a Mori knowing it's to dominate a swf.

  • From what I've read in the patch notes, I think these changes are probably very good even though they are tiny tweaks. Might just be the most perfectly balanced killer.

    Keep up the good work.

  • Googled it.

In the Tall Grass is an upcoming 2019 Canadian horror drama film written and directed by Vincenzo Natali and starring Patrick Wilson. It is based on Stephen King and Joe Hill's 2012 novella of the same name.

    CANADA?

  • Could this be a lead.

Ashley Williams voiceline says *who's that pooping in the tall grass"

And I just got a notification saying that Netflix has announced a Stephen King series "in the tall grass" to appear on Netflix.

I swipes it off before I read it all because it's what I do.

Could the Ashley Williams voiceline be a hidden message that a "in the tall grass" Stephen king killer/Survivor is coming.

I don't know what In the Tall grass is but there's that ash voiceline which license is also one of Netflix's I think. Ash came from the Netflix show as would this Stephen king in the tall grass one.

I might be clutching at...grass idk.

  • They made his Shred ability less spammable in return for an insta break on pallets with it. I think

Something to do with cancelling shred causes you to not be able to attack for exactly 0.45 seconds.

  • @Mikeadatrix said:

They changed the audio for Steve... Demogorgon has a Pallet Breaker in basekit... HE'S OFFICIALLY A TIER, LADS.

    OOOOOOOH BOYYYYY...

I mean leatherface has a pallet breaker don't get carried away until you played a little first. Then go ahead.

  • So Shred now destroys dropped pallets but you can't use shred if you just cancelled it.

Sounds like a good trade. I like running brutal strength on killer this is a nice excuse to use something more creative.

  • Remember to play nice, expect a lot of newbies. Bob Newbys.

  • Also I bet a few of you fell for the thread title 🤭hehehehehe

  • Passive: A map wide teleport to any disturbed crows across the map would be a neat teleport (give it a 30 second cooldown, affected by add ons) the teleport is made up of a visual effect which shows a murder of crows converging and flying away to reveal the scarecrow left behind.

Power: Murder Harvest - can charge a sweeping attack (secondary attack) which can hit multiple targets in close proximity. The Scarecrow wields a Rusty Scyche.

Not to kill your prediction but billy was basically released with the thompson house witch is coldwind farm

My point being that the Scarecrow doesn't require a map and Chapter 14 will not come with a map. The fact that cold wind came with hillbilly is irrelevant. They both would fit that realm incredibly well.

  • BRAINFART

THE SCARECROW would fit perfectly on cold wind farm.

Doesn't require a new map. Doesn't rely on the new skeletal rig of Demogorgan (which would have been really risky)

We need a T posing killer.

  • Think...A killer who definitely doesn't need a map...

Any suggestions. I think this is biggest lead we have.

The firebreather would fit clown map.

The snow demon thing, yeti on Ormond.

The spirit map... What killer would also fit there? Geisha? Hmm...

    We need suggestions people!

  • Is there a character from Creepshow that fits the killer role. I've never seen it but the theme does sound very carnival like. Maybe a fairground map.

  • Stephen King recently wrote a brand new horror themed series called "The misdemeanours of Mocha Steve" it's supposedly about a guy who is cursed to only being able to drink mochas because he was given the holy mocha (holy grail) and it meant anything other than mocha would unleash the curse of lord deCafoid who is a demon from the planet nestléar.

It isn't yet available for purchase but I am close friends with Steve and he said so..so? Raise a mocha in celebration of what's to come.

  • Halloween themed collectables.

Bats and orange confetti come from generators.

  • Slender man is an urban legend isn't he? If he is then he can't be licensed.

I wonder if they'll do the terminator as a killer as deathgarden got a terminator hunter. Maybe they're an easy to approach license holder.

  • I wouldn't say bad but I think I'm always unlucky playing against hillbilly because I always end up making a dumb mistake or my team fails miserably.

Steve is my favorite character in Stranger Things. He is by far the most interesting and well-written of them all.

Nancy is pretty Meh to be honest, as is Jonathan. She was still kinda ok by season 2 but by season 3 both Nancy and Jonathan were just annoying and uninteresting characters who I wish got eaten by rats.

Rachel would have been a much better choice.

I think you're just fanboy/fangirling because you're excited to play him. I think he's kinda meh compared to many characters in ST. Pretty uninteresting and in terms of writing they made his story on as they went so it's nothing special.

Nancy is fine, she's got her own style and curious attitude which I like. She's chasing her case to find evidence to report her findings to whoever needs them. Fun.

I'm not complaining I just think that you're in denial. I hope you do enjoy Steve though. He seems to be liked by you people.

Us more cultured folk will probably play nance though. 😄 I'm sorry I just feel like I'm stating the cold hard truth that Steve isn't as big of a character as a lot of you think. I'm hard to be convinced otherwise so let's leave it at that.

  • I wonder what it would be like if there were 2 more gens spawned in but each individual gen takes 40 seconds longer.

I would prefer a gas up action everytime a gen is started. Reduce the individual time taken per gen repair by 15 seconds. Every full gas can is equivalent charges to fulfill a full gen repair.

  • I do feel cheated out of a few perks because of the problem with generators getting done too quickly. We have mindbreaker and surge to combat this problem rather than perks which let you get creative and synergise with a number of other perks.

Surge isn't too bad it just feels like a lazy perk if you don't feel like kicking gens.

  • I got the grab a Survivor off a gen with your 3rd blink achievement on my first game as nurse. I had no idea what I was doing but I did pretty good.

  • I like the hotboxes of pizza Dwight delivers to me however the hitboxes are too pineappley.

  • I thought this was gonna be one of those threads where you name a Survivor main streamer and you try to convince us that they're the best Survivor player. I'm glad I was wrong.

  • @Mochan said:

Is it that important in the chase? I'd imagine the only time this would come into play is in a chase and you'd have to be slowvaulting to do it. I'm not the best looper so I didn't know people were slow vaulting doing chases and getting a huge advantage out of it.

When it comes to looping, audio can decide what action you take if you have no line of sight with the Survivor. Because Ace has a very quiet groan of pain you can never be sure if he's vaulted a window, made a run for it or stayed where he was. It's like he has a built in quick and quiet considering he doesn't rush vaults.

Jane isn't the loudest but she is by far louder than Ace.

  • @Mochan said:

What does vaulting have to do with anything? If you're fast vaulting the killer will hear you and see where it is regardless.

Every Survivor makes a "aghhh" noise when they perform vaults. Ace has an 'ugh' so it's really difficult to hear.

  • Nooo don't leave us. Promise you'll come back when Stranger Things releases.

I want to broadly speak about disability as you mentioned it. When it comes down to disability I think enough isn't being done quick enough to assist players who struggle to do certain things an ordinary player would just do easily.

As you said you've played this game a lot over the last few years and it's people like you who makes the game able to grow and develop into something which looks like the true home of horror for video games.

I genuinely hope that if you are planning on playing something else that you'll come back every now and then because this game still has a long way to go.

This game lacks excitement sometimes and it's clear how certain things can build up a sense of frustration with the game.

Some of the things you mentioned are valid criticisms of the game. It's your opinion and I respect that and I hope others do too. @ol_drunk

  • Please create a bug which makes bubba unable to recover from tantrum but increase his movement speed a lot. I just wanna chase Survivors while in a tantrum animation. I think it'll be really scary and freaky.

  • I feel like 10 seconds would be better because it forces you to take the risk to either use your exhaustion perk to get away early or stay put for 10 seconds with the killer investigating nearby and maybe not resorting to using your exhaustion perk.

  • Whenever I take balanced landing I get flat maps with near to no drop offs. Mindbreaker seems really bad right now I hope it gets a rework or significant tweak to be useful.

Maybe if while in chase if you go into bloodlust 2, the Survivor is unable to use exhaustion perks like head on, dead hard, BL or lithe. Have it 3 tokens, when you down a Survivor in Bloodlust 2 you lose a token.

  • I feel like you mistake Survivor greed for unhooks (because of the points) for toxicity. It's just bad strategy and they're basically making it harder for themselves.

OoO to me means that the one running it seems confident and if you are able to get them out the game asap you might have knocked out the strongest player.

Having said that OoO players may be prepared to be chased.

People seem to ignore the bad actions they take when they end up suffering dire consequences from them. Just don't get caught up in argument. They just want to be told that they aren't the problem.

    Killer.

Nothing enjoys me more to actually sneak up on repairing Survs and suddenly going BING BONG, HERE COMES THE- Let's end the joke there. 😝

Anyway, even better if you have Devour Hope on 3 Tokens: No time wasted on chasing AT ALL. 🤩

    ...

Except those pesky Sprint Burst users! 🤬

Mindbreaker might work well on wraith. If you see a bunch of megs you can guess they've got sprint burst. Very situational

  • @Groxiverde said:

When I play survivor I'm always Ace and honestly, the killer always finds me when I'm injured xD it doesn't make much of a difference in my experience. Maybe it's because at red ranks every killer has headphones at high volume (?)

For the the difference is drastic. Ace and I think Tapp are just really quiet especially during vaults compared to everyone else.

It's led me to p3ing Ace eventhough his cosmetics are not to my liking. He needs something wacky like Dwight's pizza boy or something.

  • You might be like "well bring iron will" but my point is that Ace without iron will while injured is still really quiet compared to anyone else.

  • I just see very little reason to look up at the sky in some maps. I want to see stars sparking, a raging eye of sauron, a DreamWorks moon or a the northern lights or something interesting.

  • The giant pigs in Bloodborne was designed to clip through walls. Maybe little Amanda can learn a trick or two.

  • I mean that's basically a cross between the hag and the demogorgan by the looks of it. Bloodborne was a great game.
