  • "Ignorance is bliss" probably applies to me when it comes to cheaters. Unless they're very obvious I don't realize people are cheating. There's some instances where I'm absolutely certain a killer is running X aura reading perk because they always seem to know exactly where survivors are and it turns out they have 0 aura reading perk or add-on, but even then I just think "they probably have good game sense and I'm not as unpredictable as I thought".

I remember reporting 2 cheaters, a Dwight who insta completed all gens and opened the gates and a Kate I could see TP thanks to Empathy. I think I also reported a few others but I don't remember them (and I'm still embarassed about my newbie self reporting a Freddy because I had no idea he could teleport...).

In any case I'm not good enough or/and don't pay attention enough to notice when something is off if it's subtle, I'm always mind blown when I see videos of people immediately noticing someone is like 1% too fast or something like that. On the bright side I don't feel like my gaming experience is ruined by cheaters because I simply don't notice them, but knowing I've probably encountered way more than I think I have and that they're subtle enough they're fooling the large majority of the playerbase sucks.

Man same. Why did they even make 2 survivors for that chapter anyway? I like them and all, but that's 6 more useless perks and 2 more characters to unlock instead of 1.

Exactly, I only used them for the adepts and tome challenges but I probably won't use them again, definitely not worth 18k shards. I'll try to calm down my completist tendencies and only buy characters that I know I will play or that have at least 2 perks that I'll use moving foward, I already spent enough money on this game and I don't want to spend more unless it's a licenced chapter that I like, so if OG characters aren't worth the shards I'll try really hard to skip them.

  • 58 343 shards. I only use them to buy OG characters (and I regret spending 27k of them on SM, Renato & Thalita)

Man it should be 6000 shards for older characters man holy imagine clown costing 9000 shards even though he came out like 10 years ago it's crazy honestly very sad for new players for real.

Eh, considering every killer brings new gameplay I'm fine with it, but survivors are definitely not worth 9000k shards unless they have multiple really good perks, and I don't think there's a lot of those.

  • Although I would pick XP over BPs all the time, it's probably because I only have about 4 characters who aren't at least P3, so BPs don't really matter to me, but I understand most players haven't been playing for a long time and are in need of BPs because they don't realize in the long run XP & shard are more valuable (which is not a critic btw, it's absolutely fine and if I hadn't prestiged so many characters I would most likely pick BPs too).

In the end a lot of "seasoned" players have too much BPs but also don't care much about XP / shards because they've most likely already have all the characters (that they want at least) and have enough shards to buy the next (or most likely are ready to pull out the credit card).

  • There's no such thing as "toxic" genrushing. Survivors are only doing their objective, and balance would be very wrong if one side didn't feel pressure when the other side makes quick progress with their objective.

Also it's absolutely normal that a couple gens pop quickly, considering the killer is the weakest at the beginning. As soon as the killer finds someone there's at most 3 survivors on gens, and when the survivor is hooked there's at most 2 survivors on gens, then only 1 survivor on a gen if someone is hooked, someone is coming for the rescue and someone is being chased. And that's assuming survivors are efficient and aren't all coming to the rescue or stop doing gens and hide everytime they hear the TR.

There's a reason the first 2 gens almost always pop quickly but then it takes at least 5 minutes to do the rest. If killers had the same amount of pressure they do mid-game during the early game survivors would simply not be able to complete their objective.

Also considering after gen speed was nerfed to encourage killers to not use so much gen perks they just stacked them even more I'm going to guess killers would absolutely keep tunneling even if they didn't have a reason to anymore. (And I'm being generous, considering in most cases killers wouldn't need to tunnel if they hadn't inflated their MMR by doing it)

  • And survivors do their objectives as quickly as possible because they know it's very likely they'll get tunneled out once they get caught, it's literally the chicken and the egg.

Also, losing a couple gens early is very normal and absolutely does not dictate how the game will play out, I really don't understand why some killers freak out, but if you're that scared you can always equip Corrupt.

  • I'd understand saying "if you're tunneled don't give up and just run towards the nearest loop, hope for the best and try to gain time", but saying survivors should run an entire anti-tunneling build (including DS lol) and that it's their fault if the killer catches them when they literally have 0 distance on them if the killer waits out basekit BT, not to mention they were downed here so it's very possible it's an unsafe area or pallets around here have been used already, is just silly.

Obviously if countering tunneling was that easy it wouldn't be effective and it wouldn't be so popular.

  • Oh I remember this one. I just gave it to killers who were obviously trying to get it when it came out, and I only got it by throwing games trying to do it. I think I finally got it when I encountered survivors who stayed in the exit gates to tbag, so I don't really have any advice besides 'just keep throwing bottles and hope one of them will stay to make fun of you'. This one is annoying so good luck.

  • Twins. I genuinely think I haven't gone against twins more than 10 times ever, and most of them were when the chapter came out.

I also rarely see Hag and Hillbilly.

Edit: also Freddy, literally forgot he existed haha

  • I didn't expect to be hoping to get RPD one day lol.

I didn't play much when GoJ came out and didn't play at all for Borgo. I absolutely hate GoJ bc there's too much clutter and I can barely see anything. As for Borgo I haven't played on it much but it feels similar in the "why is this random small object blocking my way for no reason" department.

I always die very quickly on these two maps bc I run into things that don't look like they have collision or that I just didn't see, so ig I'll just be the weak link this week.

  • Unless survivors all have matching names I don't go into the game assuming they're a SWF, and even if they have matching names I don't assume they are on comms. I've been accused enough times of being in a "dirty swf on comms" in my solo q post game chat to know it's not because survivors have good game sense, make a smart move or are good at cooperating that it means they're actually on comms (and statistically it's less likely).

The games feel much less "unfair" if you don't assume you're struggling because they're on comms, sometimes players are just good and I personnally would rather wrongfully assume players are good than getting worked up because I assume my opponents have an unfair advantage.

The only times players are obviously in a swf to me are the ones where it's a "bully swf" who clearly doesn't care about doing gens or escaping and is just trying to have fun (and although it usually comes at the killer's expense I personnaly have lots of fun against these type of swf).

  • I don't think the aura reading & speed boost are related (they were the same duration but now they're not), so I don't think it would work, although it would be an interesting possibility.

  • Wraith & Hag. I think Plague may have some good ones too. Blight obviously has good add-ons but they're too good.

  • I wouldn't use BBQ if it wasn't for lethal, and as soon as I P3 Sadako I'll switch it out for floods of rage tbh

  • @Ayodam said:

I’ve played solo queue and yet to see any one quit at 4-5 gens. I think I’ve seen one person DC in like 15 games of solo queue over the last two days and that was with two gens left. I didn’t see anyone give up on hook in those games. I just don’t believe people are DCing and unhook failing as much as people here claim.

Agree, I don't encounter DCs often and when I do it's usually people DCing after being tunneled as they're being carried to their last hook. I wonder if it's a MMR thing but I only see "a lot" of DCs during events where everyone is playing sweatier and games are more frustrating.

  • I'm not sure how Wesker being licenced relates to how strong he should be.

In any case I personally think he's one of the better balanced killers and currently doesn't need any adjustments

Well, he is one of free killers and he is not hard to play. It makes sense to see him more than others. Same for Huntress.

But I don't consider him strong killer. Just learn how to force him uncloak on windows / pallets.

I understand why we see him a lot, but I would much rather see Trapper or Hillbilly (or literally anyone lol). I can't see him at all when he's cloaked so he's just very frustrating and unfun to play against for me, even if I don't think he's a very strong killer.

  • The feature is still in place, even if sometimes it doesn't feel like it. Maybe these days it's worse because of the pre-anniversary celebrations considering every week there's some maps we're more likely to get ?

As far as I know you just link your Epic account and then merge the two accounts. There has been a bug going on which resulted in some progress loss but since then I would guess they would have fixed it! (The merge function was deactivated for some time because of this but reenabled)

achievments don’t get transferred at all (though the prestige ones will unlock immediately after starting the game as you have met the requirements)

otherwsie, yes, all purchases should show up on both accounts, including Stranger Things. Only auric cells you have bought from the platform store stay exclusive to that platform. (I think auric cells from the premium track of the rift would be shared though)

Keep in mind that if you decide to unlink the accounts, then you will lose the progress made while the accounts were linked!

also if you notice any loss after merging, I guess you should contact support as they may look into your accounts

    https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Thank you! I hadn't heard about the bug and thought it was just people merging accounts the wrong way around or something 😅 everything should be fine then

  • I don't think he's "overperforming", considering it's a bit weird to say "he's not supposed to be that good" when he's not overpowered.

But also I hate going against Wraith and I'm tired of facing him constantly and I would be the last person to complain if he was nerfed to the ground for no reason whatsoever lol.

I am okey with that tho. Strong killers should not have strong add-ons. That's why Artist, Oni and Wesker are amazing killers. And some killers are good but their add-ons makes them A tier as well, this is also good desing: Huntress, Plague and Pinhead.

Oh Yeah I totally agree it's a good thing! A tier best tier haha I personnally think S tier killers are the ones who need some kind of basekit or add-ons nerf.

  • A tier.

The only thing he's missing to be S tier would be really cracked add-ons.

what if the killer bringing an endgame build without noed? and all survivors bring made for this and hope for endgame, they are all run 10% faster, how will an m1 killer get one or two extra kill there? or even a down.

Crazy how this can already happen with hope & other haste perks but it doesn't and no one is worried about it, for the reasons I've already mentioned.

We're just going in circles now, so I'll just say you're chasing ghosts and getting worried for no reason, but on the off chance you're right and everyone starts running hope & made for this, it'll be nerfed anyway.

  • @Worgen said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3445766#Comment_3445766

if you use made for this and hope in endgame, you can loop killers on long wall windows and certain main buildings without even chase starting, idk hows that useless lmao, thats what i call free escape after 5gens.

on the other hand i didnt mention that you need to be injured in my suggestion, you got it even if you healty after the stun, and looping for 60sec with 3%haste is not something you should roll on, its extra 2-3 loops around tiles.

There's no such thing as a "free escape after 5gens" lol, if a survivor completed their objectives and stayed alive until endgame with only 3 perks active they were probably gonna escape anyway and 3% isn't going to make a difference. On top of that I'm pretty sure you can do the things you mentioned with hope alone, which no one complains about bc it's only active when the game is basically over (and that isn't gonna change with made for this).

Regarding your suggestion, even if you take out the injured and no-exhaustion conditions 3% is still much less than the speed boost from smash hit, and the large majority of survivors would last much less time in chase with it than with the distance gained from smash hit or other exhaustion perks.

In any case, I don't think anyone who doesn't already use hope is going to become a fervent user with Made for this and I think most survivors aren't good enough to get any value out of 3%, so I genuinely would be surprised if made for this has a high pick rates after two weeks live, but we'll just have to wait and see.

  • "it's unhealthy for the game" it's literally not in the game yet let's not get ahead of ourselves

Your suggestion is literally smash hit, except the speed boost is only 3% and you need to be injured to get it. No one uses smash hit, so I can let you imagine how many people would run a way worse version of it (none)

And bringing up Hope is useless, there's already a bunch of stackable haste perks yet no one uses them with hope and no one has a problem with them. If you think 3% is too much why do you think people would use half their builds to buff a perk that already gives 7% ?

The perk was fine in the PTB and will most likely be fine live, and even if I'm wrong there's no reason to claim it's unhealthy or whatever until we actually see how it performs live

Sorry for kinda contributing to derailing the thread. Hope you understand I am not trying to do so with bad intentions.

also, don’t directly Tag devs (Peanits, Mandy) as that’s against forum rules and they are not directly moderating the forums to begin with.

best way would be to flag your thread as if you report it and mention in the message what you want - that way you can contact active mods

I don't blame you it's okay, I have a hard time not replying to every bigot person showing up every couple hours to argue about representation as if my og post wasn't just about a charm.

Also thanks for the tip, I always forget the little flags are here. I also just realized it's the weekend so it shouldn't be surprising mods aren't active. Ig I'll just bite my tongue until Monday haha

Not really, in most games sexuality was not even a subject, even more in multiplayer games.

And no it is not different regarding representation; it is exactly the same and you know what, they have toi suffer way more violence and agression than you, especially jewish ppl.

Julie and Frank are literally dating. Heterosexuality has been in the game forever, go complain about christians and conservatives not being represented enough elsewhere and stop spamming my notifications, thank you.

  • I tried DMing this morning to get this discussion closed because it's obviously getting out of hand but I don't think they saw it yet, sorry for the multiple tags I have no idea who's active right now but this should definitely get closed.

Edit: I've been made aware tagging mods is against forum rules, sorry about that, it's the weekend and I don't even think any of you are active. I'm trying to delete the tags but my phone won't let me for some odd reason, I'll try to do it on my computer later (sorry in advance if I forget or decide to log off for the weekend) sorry again (and double sorry to Rizzo i don't even know why i tagged you twice)

  • If someone uses 3 perks to get the zoomies in end game and manages to live to see it they probably were going to escape anyways.

Also you can have fun doing math with all the other haste perks that also stack with eachother (including hope) but that no one has had a problem with.

You're not going to see Made for this + hope more than you're currently seeing Hope on its own (bc 7% is more than enough) which is to say not commonly. People using half their builds and giving up sprint burst and adrenaline just to be fast in end game is probably not something we should worry about ngl.

yes i made this build to be a bit of everything, having a good escape option + unhooking teammates while also seeing their auras and them seeing mine when im on the hook + okayish survivability.

ill most likely replace it with Prove Thyself, or Adrenaline. its sad seeing Iron Will in its state rn ever since they basically trashed it

Yeah I agree, your build is literally the one I had before the meta shake-up haha

  • Honestly you can drop Iron Will, killers with headphones will still hear you with it and it doesn't work when you're exhausted from Lithe.

I mean if you keep it it's still a fine build, but you could switch it out for an other perk. Here's some suggestions:

I'm assuming with kindred + we'll make it that you like going for unhooks, so maybe Reassurance or BT would fit nicely considering camping & tunneling are currently common

If you're scared of staying injured and that's why you use Iron Will you could take a self-heal perk (inner healing over self-care please).

Or you could replace it with other perks that are always a good pick: Adrenaline, Windows of Opportunity, Unbreakable, Prove Thyself

  • My favorite idea I've seen was that torment is only applied to healthy survivors when they get injured. Guess it's basically like making it only apply when the survivor is put in the dying state, except it would encourage PH to get their first hit with punishment instead of their second (or 3rd if DH), which I personally think is better.

I'm a Chinese Mexican Trans Woman I'm sorry but representation really isn't a huge issue. Like I will literally never experience representation and my life is no different than if I could relate to every character like why is it actually such a big deal that EVERY character needs to be LGBT?

Your experience doesn't invalidate others', representation matters and you benefit from it whether you're complaining about it or not. Lastly, no one is asking for EVERY character to be LGBT+, and you wouldn't be mad about it if it wasn't a big deal. Go loathe in self-hatred or hang out with ppl who tell you you're one of 'the good ones' because you don't shove 'it' in their face or whatever it is you do. If you speak like bigots who hate you for existing you certainly have unresolved issues and I genuinely hope you sort it out (or you just think because you don't care no one should care, which is a tiiiny bit self-centered, or you just profoundly missed the mark in getting your (still weird) point accross and I'm getting triggered over you using bigot language because of bad communication skills).

In the mean time, the fact that you don't feel the need for representation is absolutely fine, good for you! but please don't argue about how it's not a big deal because you don't care or insinuate that anyone is trying to turn every character gay or use other sentences straight out of a "beware of the gay agenda" manifesto, mostly in places such as a video game forum discussion about a delayed pride charm, which I'm sure you can understand is not the place for these kinds of things.

I only talked about representation because someone politely asked the whys and whats, and although I don't understand why you felt the need to make your disagreement known in a quite violent manner and for no reason whatsover (considering you're obviously not expecting me to explain why I believe representation is important as it's specifically that post you replied to) I'm just going to wish you a life with less hatred than your post display and move on (and you should do the same because again, it's really not the place, also I don't think supposed to care).

(got triggered, sorry to any mod who may be passing through, I tried really hard to not answer to such posts and will go back to ignoring them, promise)

  • Hope is a whole 7%, plenty enough by itself and still uncommon to encounter.

I understand being worried about how made for this will perform live but I genuinely don't get how Hope adds anything to any argument. It's already not used much because by the time it works the game is basically over, so I don't think people using half their builds to get the zoomies in end game is going to be meta or even common.

I can see how releasing them gradually over the course of the month would've been received better rather than so many all at once. If not that, then just all at the same time. Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about it. They've shown a lot of support to the lgbt community so I can't see this happening for any bad reason.

Yes I agree, I don't think they would have done this if they didn't think it was a good thing. I only made this post to let BHVR know that doing things this way (even if it builds up to be a really nice surprise) was probably a mistake because it doesn't make people wait in excitement but rather make them feel like they were singled out and are not as important as / come after everyone else. I'm personnally excited for what's to come, but I understand why so many lesbians just feel bummed out.

  • @HugTheHag said:

I'm happy with those charms, but genuine question though :

Why do the codes expire June 3 ? Why not let them throughout the month if it's, well, Pride Month ?

Is there only a certain number of codes that can be available at any time without breaking anything ?

The codes we get during streams are always only available for a short time, so I think it's because the charms (besides the flags) are "stream codes" from the Into The Rainbow stream rather than pride codes. (although you make a good point haha)

To be fair, you never should expect anything just because of leaks any way. It’s not officially reveal information after all.

I agree, but the leaks were confirmed because moderators replied to people wondering how to get them and told them they would be available during pride month. I'm aware they didn't give an exact date for each charm, but I'm sure you can understand getting all of the leaked flags except one feels uncomfortable for the ones left out. Had they released them a few at a time I don't think it would have been bad, the issue here is just that feels like they singled out lesbians (which again I'm sure was not their intention, but it still doesn't feel great considering the reason for doing that, even if it's going to be an amazing surprise, is still a secret.)

  • @Rizzo said:

Let's try to tone it down a notch, please.

That said, feedback is, of course, appreciated.

I do understand the frustration, however I'm sure there is a reason why those specific charms haven't been released yet and they already confirmed there is much more to come during the month, so I'm hopeful and I'm sure everyone will be equally celebrated this month.

Also a small personal note to add for those who think this is just a videogame and that they are just fictional characters: please read this thread and try to understand that for many people representation is much more important than you might think, especially those who are not able to express themselves because of the society they live in.

    Thank you.

I'm very excited for everything that's left to come, and am absolutely certain BHVR didn't mean to make anyone feel left out, I just thought i'd let you know that it's disappointing to get a flag charm later than the rest when it's been leaked for a while so everyone expected we'd get them at the same time. (and if Yui isn't confirmed a lesbian she'll still be one in my heart :p)

  • @Mooks said:

    Something that sparked my interest:

who have quite an unfortunate history of being left out of LGBT+ content, merch and celebrations (not only by companies but also by LGBT+ associations and the like)

is that really so? I mean, I do understand that gay (as in MLM) has been often the focus over lesbian in history etc. But otherwise I would think that Bi and Trans have been left out way more than lesbians? Not to speak about aro/ace, queer, etc, which feel even more left out (though luckily there is some progress happening in this regard I think)

and I also feel like lesbian representation has been quite good in Gaming in general? With Ellie from Last of Us, Life is Strange (though admittedly, I don’t know if they are lesbian or bi - but the relationship of the two girls is a pretty big focus), and hasn’t Aloy from Horizon been confirmed as well?

I'm only speaking related to pride month celebration by companies & merch and stuff like that, not representation as a whole (obviously the general public is more familiar with lesbians than they are with asexuals for example). It's just my experience than a lot of times when some sexualities are left out lesbians are always one of them, even though they're not an "obscure" sexuality and are literally the first letter of the acronym. Some examples that comes to mind are the Sims and Among Us making pride flags available and forgetting the lesbian one, or pride merch like socks and scarfs missing the lesbian flag... there's unfortunately a lot of examples of this. Although at first people justified it because the flag had changed so companies didn't know which one to use, now it kinda feels personal.. (and I know this isn't what BHVR is trying to do and a lesbian flag is coming, but it's still very reminiscent of that "trend")

(and I apologize if my statement made it sound like I'm victimizing lesbians or turning representation into a contest and taking away from others' struggle, it really wasn't my intention at all)

    @KateMain86 said:

They did acknowledge that its coming later, which means there is probably a reason for it. I don't think they'd intentionally leave it out for no reason. Maybe they just want to space it out through the month or reveal them along with a character. Who knows. I just didn't see the need to make such a long post like this about it, and that is just me giving my feedback on that.

And I thank them for everything they've done, but it doesn't mean they can't do better or we should keep quiet when they make mistakes, mostly if they're doing it out the goodness of their heart which would mean they'd probably like to improve.

I don't think this was a mistake which was the point I was making before. This feels like unfair criticism, but you're certainly welcome to give it. Like I said, there is probably a reason why it wasn't revealed today so any assumption of it being intentionally left out for any bad reason is unreasonable.

I know it's intentional, which is what I'm criticizing for the reasons I've developped in my OG post. Forgetting the gay flag was a (probably) unintentionnal mistake that I'm not too upset about considering they'll fix it, not releasing the lesbian flag on purpose to either make it seem like the gay flag was planned all along or for whatever other reason they don't want to let us know feels quite uncomfortable, not to say hurtful. If they wanted to "spread out" festivities they could have released some charms each week instead of releasing them all except the one they forgot to make, maybe some others that didn't leak and therefore people don't expect to get, and the lesbian one, which we know is already ready to go and don't have a justification as to why we can't get.

I also saw that theory online, and it might be accurate. If anyone is, Yui is the most likely candidate. Maybe they are planning to do some additional fanfare for it, but it's backfiring since people expected it now.

Is the lesbian flag & MLM flag really the only one that have yet to be added? I'm not sure because the only codes I used were the cool eye charm, and the bi flag. It honestly feels weird wearing it after so much time spent using the standard rainbow charm.

Out of the 'common' sexualities, lesbian & gay are the only ones missing, demisexual is also absent and I think that's about it ? The other ones I've seen people ask for are "double flags" like aro+ace or nb+lesbian and stuff like that

I have a theory as to why.

The MLM flag (gay men) isn't in the game files yet, and it'd look very weird to release the WLW (lesbian) flag without the MLM one, especially as that would make the MLM one the only flag missing. My guess is they're waiting for End Transmission to add the flag (June 13th is so long away) and then releasing the MLM and WLW ones together.

They likely couldn't postpone this stream, because people have schedules, especially because there's Trixie Mattel, and this would've been set in stone for a long time.

Though if it's because Yui Kimura is revealed to be a lesbian (with a second tome as high quality as David King's thank you very much 💅), then I won't be complaining either.

I think there's a good possibility that's what's happening but considering we already knew the gay flag was missing, not releasing a flag we know they already have and then teasing "more to come wink wink" is probably going to backfire if the only thing coming is said flag. (also I really want Yui to be confirmed lesbian haha)

They have done and continue to do so much for the lgbt community and people still find reason to find fault in them.

And I thank them for everything they've done, but it doesn't mean they can't do better or we should keep quiet when they make mistakes, mostly if they're doing it out the goodness of their heart which would mean they'd probably like to improve.

Not trying to be a hater but like why does it matter? They're fictional characters. I still dont understand the movement of having to make a bunch of gay/trans/bi/lesbians to appease peoples own sexuality.

Again not trying to hate on it, but like at the end of the day a video game is nothing but pixels that have 0 feelings towards you or interact with you.

If you have had representation your whole life it's normal that you can't grasp why it's so important to people who haven't had it. Heterosexual representation is so present everywhere that people don't even notice it because it's normal and accepted.

For example you'll see homophobes complain about David being gay because "sexuality doesn't matter in a horror game", but they've never complained that heterosexuality has been in the game for a lot longer (I mean we literally have Frank & Julie dating) because they simply didn't notice it as it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

Having LGBT+ characters normalise being LGBT+ and the fact that we don't need a reason to exist (which is why I personally enjoy casual representation more than say a gay character who's entire personality is being gay).

The fact that LGBT+ representation needs a character to be officially confirmed is a necessary evil because otherwise straight people simply deny it because "where's the proof?", just like coming out wouldn't be necessary if society didn't assume everyone is cis & straight.

I invite you to read articles about the necessity of representation, I don't know if I'm allowed to link external sites but just searching "why is LGBT representation important" on google should lead you to them :)

I've been meaning to do something like it, but for some reason when I select a new build on a bot it gives it to every bot. I might be doing something wrong here !

I'm happy to report I'm not crazy yet, to give your bots different builds you need to give them each a different "preset" (you can change it over the loadout). Once you give your build to bot 1 it'll copy it on all the other bots, but then you can go edit the other bots to give them preset 2 / 3 / 4 so they all have different builds :)

I think you need to select each bot and go in to change their build one by one after they're all in the lobby ? I haven't done it in quite a while bc it was a bit tedious, but I'm quite confident bots are allowed to have different builds, unless I somehow broke the game back when I did it. I'll try to do it tomorrow to check if it wasn't a fever dream haha.

  • I'm pretty sure all rift cosmetics eventually come back, but considering the number of outfits & the fact that they started adding them to the store after multiple rifts (and therefore have to catch up on previous rifts) I'm not surprised it takes time. I think the 1 year thing is more of a "they won't back before at least a year" kind of thing than a "they will come back in a year", so i guess it'll come back at some point, maybe during winter or something.

  • Maybe you should report that as a bug? I remember a Jane head cosmetic didn't show the correct image in the store one time, maybe that's what is happening here

  • I think Dead Dawg is one of most killer sided map. I genuinely don't remember ever not getting at least a 3k on this map unless I was against some really cracked survivors that would have beaten me much quicker on any other map. I also don't remember escaping much on it against decent killers as survivor.

Main building and shack are pretty close but that's only because everything is pretty close, they're not easy to chain in chase and the shack is probably the weakest in the game because of the breakable wall. Same goes for the main building, only good survivors can loop a decent killer there once the correct walls are broken.

The arguments I've seen of people saying it's not killer sided are that good survivors can loop this and that and make it very difficult for the killer to catch them, but that's true of every map (and quite normal in my opinion, a really good survivor shouldn't be easy to catch).

In any case I'm always happy to get it when I'm playing killer.

  • I either give them new / reworked perks to see what they feel like from the killer side (mostly in PTB bc killer queue is just too long), otherwise I have fun making each of them have a role:

Healer: Empathy, heal perks, BT or exhaustion perk + medkit

Gen guy: Prove Thyself, Deja Vu, some other gen perks or exhaustion perk + toolbox

Looper: Exhaustion perk, WoW, Lightweight, adrenaline + flashlight

The one their teammates hate: Sprint Burst, urban evasion, spine chill, self-care + key
