Maybe the totems could also remain unlit until the effects actually proc, in which then it becomes a hex totem.
This is the only Hex buff i'll ever agree about, although I'm pretty sure it's already implemented for some of them (NOED, Devour Hope), at least it'd lessen the "survivor spawns and breaks Ruin before even touching a gen" scenario.

I also find it funny how boons can be placed infinitely but once a hex is gone its gone
That's a very silly and bad argument. Boon & Hex are totally different things for different roles in an asymmetrical game, stop trying to compare them to make a (terrible) point.

Genuine question. Why do you feel the need to broadcast your sexuality to everyone and anyone in a video game? Especially considering I’m sure lots of kids play this game as well.
I'm sorry how are you more concerned about a child seeing a gay flag than a child playing a game where they're violently killing people and being killed lmao ?
Anyways, if we pretend this is a genuine question: it's always nice to know someone's one of you, some of the most wholesome moments I had in DBD were survivors getting excited because I had gay flags on my hook. Also it's pleasant to know there's bound to be homophobes fuming because they're dying on your LGBT+ friendly hook, or because they can't catch the gay survivor.
-
Besides the whole queue times & matchmaking issues this would cause, it would also mean survivors who don't ban the most banned killers (like Blight & Nurse for eg) would get repeatedly put in lobbies against them because there's no other survivors available. The most banned killers would have very long queue times and terrible matchmaking, and so would the survivors who refuse to ban them (which would lead them to ban those instead, which would make things worse for killers...)
-
My guess is you got saved right as the second phase was starting and the HUD bugged out, as it seems more likely than a bug where you miss an entire hook stage, but either way that's still a bug that should be fixed.
-
One time a killer DCed during the first chase of the game bc he got stunned by a pallet, and explained in the chat how it was toxic and bullying. Doesn't matter how you play, some people will always manage to find an excuse to be toxic or complain about you being toxic when they want to.
Also there's no such things as "toxic perks", don't limit your builds because you see people complain about this or that (unless there's an exploit going around), you'll never make everybody happy so just play with what you want :)

If I play in a solo lobby how is nerfing a SWF or a SWF with comms going to affect me?
If by "nerfing a SWF" you mean in-game survivor nerfs then I literally can't imagine any nerf that would affect swf but not solo q. If you mean things like "gens take longer for swf", it can't be implemented bc solo q & swf shares lobbies. If you mean rewards & BPs (making swf gain less BPs and/or XP) it won't change anything balance wise. Also, BHVR can't differentiate swf & swf with comms, and I don't think they can physically stop people from using comms.
Finally, even if BHVR could nerf swf without touching solo q they wouldn't want to do it because there's absolutely no reason to punish people for playing with their friends or trying to forbid them to do so.
The only way towards balance is giving solo q more information (like load-outs in the pre-game) to bring them up towards the lvl of swf, and then buff / nerf killers accordingly. And also stop making perks / reworks that cater only to people with comms (CoH rework, teamwork perks).

they say that is the reason but if it was true then macro clicking would not have been in the game since the beginning...it wasnt until enought people complained that it was fixed
So ppl complained since the beginning about photosensitivity so that's not why photosensitivity changes were implemented otherwise it would have been implemented sooner but instead it's actually a cover up for anti-bullying changes, which people have also been complaining about since the beginning but for which changes haven't been implemented sooner either ? 🤔
They also changed Doctor related effects and other things related to accessibility, it's not bc it came late that BHVR is lying about why these changes are implemented... also all the in game chat censorship was openly done for anti-bullying reason, so why on earth would they lie to pretend they don't care about it lol ?
-
The macro flashlights were removed to lower the risks of epilepsy / photosensitivity , it had nothing to do with BMing.
But to answer your question, people BM because it's a PvP game. Don't look further than that, when you put people in competition they're going to taunt each other, it's not that deep and a lot of the time it's not even meant to be rude. Take away things that people use to BM (like pointing) and they'll use something else you can't remove (like crouching, or hitting someone on hook which would absolutely mess things up if it was implemented)
-
Wraith isn't bad at all but he's not S tier, or even A tier for that matter. I mean I hate going against the guy with passion and almost always die against him but he's B Tier, low A tier at most if you take his add-ons into account and are being generous.
I do think he's better than a lot of people give him credit for though.

I'm on PC with my luminosity to the max when I'm playing and I genuinely can't see anything during Nightfall. The only things I can see are related to the aura reading perks that I bring specifically because visibility in this game is very inconsistent. Their recent maps & reworks look cool but they're a pain to navigate tbh, even more so when you have killers that hinder your visibility.
-
- Allow Survivor to see their teammates' load outs before the game
- Fix the "black bubbles" so Kindred & Bitter Murmur can work as intended
- Search bar for perks & add-ons (and make it so it works with keywords as well like "exhaustion" or "aura")
- Search bar for charms or just a better way to find them (per tome / related to character...)
- Add a "collection" tab to the store, where you can view all the outfits in a collection without having to go find each individual character featuring in it
- Option to switch lobby / main screen background
- Option to switch lobby / main screen music
- Option to switch a killer's TR music to the default one (so I don't have to hear SM's)
- More sound options (Why is my bloodweb always so loud while the rest is fine?)
Also, I'm not certain accessibility settings qualify as QoL but here's some:
- FoV slider
- Contrast / Luminosity slider (or any option that would allow me to see anything during nightfall, in deep wound or whatever)
- Option to make Clown always appear as the pink elephant (or whatever non-clown related skin) on your screen
- Option to replace some Killer sounds (Plague's vomit, whatever the hell is happening during Nightfall)

I mean it can be fun to go against if it's rare but I absolutely understand people being frustrated because the killer is basically just afk in the basement the entire game, and that's if they even bothered to check the basement, if I assume the killer is afk I just do gens and move on to the next game, i'm not going to check the basement in case someone wants to meme. And as killer I wouldn't have the patience to wait in the basement and hope something happens lol.

But that's just bad game design, perks shouldnt be so biased towards a group of killers. I'm not saying there shouldn't be perks to help with this but not to the degree that Spine Chill does, being a constant beacon of information.
One of the comp teams I scrim against as wraith has a dedicated spine chill user that sits closer to the middle of the map and is able to defend all the survivors on their half of the map, you'd be surprised at how effective it can be in a group.
I personnally disagree about needing every perk and item to affect every killer equally, I think it makes things more interesting strategy wise to have things such as Spine Chill. However I'm aware this isn't a popular opinion and that even BHVR disagrees, which is why I agree Spine Chill's rework was backwards. If they thought it was unfair to stealth killers they shouldn't have reworked it to be only useful against them. They could have literally changed it from an info perk to a vault perk by only keeping and expanding on the vault effect it used to have and it would have been better tbh.

The issue is that the killer won't know if anyone's running the perk beforehand, aside from that just being bad game design. Why not make it more effective against all types of killers and not have it hard counter a particular subset? Especially since accessibility options like the TR indicator is already in the game.
The perk allows all that I mentioned above. A survivor in a skilled team can use it to deny downs pretty effectively.
And survivors won't know if they're going against a stealth killer, therefore risking a useless perk if they bring Spine Chill. Just like killers can risk bringing a useless perk with shattered hope if they really hate boons. Just like survivors can bring medkits without knowing they're going against Plague, or Hillbilly and Blight risk going on an indoor map... Everything has its counter, risk & reward and all that.
Spine chill was clearly designed to help against stealth killers, with the idea of having an advantage over them if you dislike them to the point of risking bringing a useless perk. Spine Chill also used to have other advantages (I used to play it for the vault speed), but now it's really just a anti-stealth perk (and again it's really not that good at that anymore), which is fine in my book.
I don't know why BHVR suddenly decided an anti-stealth killer perk was unfair to stealth killers, but it's no surprise that even after nerfing it to the ground instead of giving it a proper rework it still serves the same purpose (albeit in a much weaker manner). I personnally believe Spine Chill was a fine perk and didn't need a rework, but now it's literally just a way worse version of the same perk so saying it's stronger than before just sounds wrong to me.
However, even if I disagree with you reasoning I absolutely agree Spine Chill should be completely reworked. I still think the original Spine Chill was good, but considering BHVR nerfed it bc it was unfair to stealth killers they should have made a completely different perk instead of just making it bad enough that it doesn't feel unfair anymore.
(Also the accessibility settings have nothing to do with this, and i've never seen or heard of any skilled team or single player using the new spine chill, when they can literally just look around them.)
-
Even if spine chill was actually this good (it's clearly not btw), what's wrong with survivors who waste a perk slot on it getting some value against about 6 killers out of 31, considering the perk is utterly useless against the rest of them?

I think people in the PTB saw that double use of an exhaustion Perk in a chase is insane, so that's why it was so overhyped, but then you actually start reading more into that Perk, and it's condition after condition and nobody likes those Perks lol, so another reason nobody runs it I guess.
Yeah, in PTB people always try the wildest scenarios where everything works out but in a live game it's too complicated to be worth it tbh

This version of lithe would still overall give u distance, since it would take less time to get to the other side of the window without having to get further away to get momentum first. And since you get to choose when u wanna use it, I still think you could get good use out of it honestly
I mean the idea isn't bad at all (without talking about it replacing Lithe) but I just have a hard time picturing it working as intended tbh.
-
I literally had to google what it did because I forgot it existed lmao... but ig it's a good example of how some people always cry that everything their opponent get is OP and will break the meta and needs a nerf until it actually goes live and oh surprise when people are actually playing the game instead of playing out very hypothetical scenarios with a swf & killer's help it's not that good 🤷♀️

The point is that you wouldn't need to get the extra momentum to do it, so you wouldn't have to run shack wide for example to hit the running vault
Considering hit validation is already wonky when it comes to vaults, I can't imagine this perk working properly enough to be useful (aka preventing a hit bc the perk doesn't give you distance anymore), or working in a consistent manner. And honestly even if it did I still don't think it'd be worth an exhaustion perk (unless they all get nerfed to the ground as you're suggesting of course)
-
Get lost in the woods and call for the Entity in hopes of beating it for real.
-
I see a Wraith at least once every 5 games... if he gets buffed again (and therefore played more) I will not be happy, to say the least.
I see Trapper a normal amount I'd say, not a lot but it's not suprising to see him.
However I agree we need more Hillbilly, I probably don't even see one every two weeks and he's by far the most fun to go against between these three killers (and one of the best amongst all killers tbh).
-
I'm not sure I understand the Lithe rework you're suggesting. I understand it as "press a button near a vault while running to fast vault", which would be a bad perk, even if I agreed Lithe needed a rework in the first place (which i don't)
The only scenarios I can think of where you slow / medium vault instead of getting a fast vault are either because you messed up (and messing up will still happen), because you were taken by surprise and weren't running (which is still a condition for the perk, so it wouldn't change anything) and on very occasional situations where the layout doesn't let you get a fast vault, but it wouldn't guarantee not taking a hit, and even if it did why would anyone use a perk that exhausts you for 40s just to fast vault when 95% of the time you can already fast vault without issue?
I feel like I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to say because this would not a good perk, even less a good exhaustion perk. It literally just sounds like "press E instead of space and the exact same thing will happen but you will be exhausted for 40s" to me.

I like to try personally. I typically have a worse time do to teammates being too scared. I had a game of lerys not too long ago against a nurse with 3 players left with 1 gen left. One died shortly afterward and I kept running Nurse and got two gens at about 80% done while the last survivor hid in a locker. I eventually got caught and died on first hook.
I get far more upset about teammates who don't even bother to help, especially towards the end of a game
same, i don't actually mind Nurses (at worst the game will be short), but trying your hardest to loop her while your teammates are hiding in a corner far away from any gens is a bit sad
-
It probably depends on your definition of "skill floor", I probably wouldn't struggle too much getting a 4K without using Blight's power (or Billy's for that matter), but if I try to play him as intended I doubt I'd get any hooks at all. Also how quickly you'll pick up a certain killers also depends on your gaming experience and whatnot; if you have an easy time picking Blight up good for you but I doubt it's a very common experience haha.
-
Unfortunately when you leave for a while your MMR drops and you'll end up be matched with newbies who will make it difficult for you to go back up in MMR. Honestly these days solo q is really not that bad at average MMR, so it's up to you to decide if you feel like suffering your way out of low matchmaking is worth it rn (bc if you don't do it now you'll most likely have to do it whenever you decide to pick up the game again), or maybe you could play in swf to get out of it before switching back to solo q.
In any case, even if matchmaking is improved, it's likely you'll still be matched with newer players for a bit because your MMR will still be lower than last time you played.

However I absolutely agree on both the "humanoid killers are great" & "we need more links between killers & survivors" fronts. The only ones we have (off the top of my head) are Legion & Jeff and Trickster & YunJin
I'm the opposite, I think trying to tie the killer and survivor's lore together in the chapters is going to get old, and sometimes results in clunky and unnecessary writing. Knight and Vittorio was fine, I guess, but Thalita and Renato encountering the Skull Merchant adds nothing to the story, it's just conveniently shoving them all into The Fog at the same time. And I still don't understand why Haddie's items are used as The Dredge's add-ons.
Well I didn't even know about Thalita & Renato lmao (not up to date on their lore), but I agree there's no point in linking killers & survivors just for the sake of linking them, I just wish we'd get one chapter where there's a significant and cool bond, like Jeff & Legion was more of a fun nod that doesn't really matter, YunJin & Trickster was cool but I wish we'd get a chapter where it was pushed even more, for eg if Oni & Spirit where in the same chapter but Rin was a survivor instead (or as OP proposed, if it was literally the same person). But I agree not all (or even most) killers & survivors should meet or be related in any way, I just wish we'd get one chapter like that.
-
Considering the Hatch emits a sort of hum, I think it'd be fair for the heart to show the lullaby thingy when you're near (although maybe it'd be a problem when you're facing killers with an actual lullaby)
-
Personally not a fan of portraying a MI that is already wrongfully depicted as dangerous as killers, and I can't imagine BHVR would risk facing the backlash for doing it.
However I absolutely agree on both the "humanoid killers are great" & "we need more links between killers & survivors" fronts. The only ones we have (off the top of my head) are Legion & Jeff and Trickster & YunJin, but I really hope we'd get twins or siblings but one of them is a killer and the other a survivor, or have an alternate version of the same person in different roles, considering multiverse is canon. There's a bunch of killers who's lore you read an think "why are they a killer?" (Hag, Spirit, Artist), and I think it'd be neat to introduce the survivor version of them (or a whole new chapter), with the lore being the same at the begining before diverging at a key point so we can see the same person become a killer / survivor.
-
Yeah Bitter Murmur & Kindred have this issue, idk if there's any other perks / add-ons that suffer from this but I wish the auras would be shown on top of the bubble... I can't really think of why they wouldn't, besides countering these two specific perks for no reason

They should show SWF in lobby, it wouldn't create the dodgefest you think it would. If anything it would be a boon to solo queue, because if i see 4 solos in a lobby, i'm likely not going to sweat super hard and play out a more fun match. But if i see a SWF i know i probably need to bring my best stuff. The problem is now, i don't know if they are a SWF so i just sweat and bring OP stuff all the time, because i know if i don't and they turn out to be a SWF, i'm done for. So i play hard until i "guarantee" a win by getting someone out of the game fast, then i can play nice.
Additionally, if it DID create a dodge fest, they can prevent that by giving you a dodge penalty before you can queue again that increases over time similar but separate from the "DC" penalty.
That's a lot of fair points actually, dodging penalty sounds like a good idea.

Oh yeah my assumption would be the killer wouldn't see the bonus until after the match is completed
Well it's not a bad idea then, I still don't really get the appeal but if that's what the people want I'm not going to complain lol
-
I mean besides the numbers probably being too high, would the bonus be seen only after the game? Because if killers can see they're going against a swf before the game it's going to turn into a dodging feast I'm afraid.
Otherwise this doesn't seem like a bad idea, but I'm not sure why it would be implemented in the first place, it's not like killers are complaining about SWF bc of BPs (unlike survivors who get facecamped or tunneled and don't get any compensation for the time they earned their team). I feel like this would be implemented to encourage ppl not to dodge if they knew they're going against a swf, but because that's not the case I don't really see the point tbh, but I wouldn't mind if it was implemented.
-
I absolutely agree about needing a more diverse range of translations for the game, however it's honestly not very surprising BHVR doesn't reply about people offering to do it, bc them not having a translator for a specific language probably means they have anyone to check the offered translation (and even then, they'd probably play it safe and pay someone to do it instead).
As for an arab chapter, of course it'd be great to have one, but there's no reason why it should take priority over any other culture.
(Also, to the few people who say they don't want asian chapters anymore bc we already have korean, japanese and chinese characters: please look at a map and realize there's in fact more than 3 countries in Asia, Feng Min doesn't represent Kazakh, Indian, or any culture besides her own)
And although I'm sure BHVR wouldn't want to offend any culture, they could just make a human arab killer that isn't taken from any myth to be certain to avoid any trouble.

"hook suicide should exist" is literally same as saying "every survivors should be allowed to DC freely", there is no difference between two beside one is abusable mechanics which can be used to circumvent certain mechanics/penalty for some reason.
I don't think every survivor should be allowed to DC freely, I just think it's impossible to force people to play the game (as intended) when they don't want to. I mean we're just going in circles now, I agree hook suicide sucks but I just think taking it out wouldn't fix anything, people who avoid the DC penalty by hook suicide would just avoid the new penalty by staying in the game and be absolutely useless until it ends, which could actually makes things worse for the other players.
Anyways, there's no point in repeating ourselves so i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, have a good day / whatever suits your timezone :)

Have you ever saw a player that says "I can't play against specific character so I should be able to DC freely when I saw it" in any competitive games? that's ridiculous and extremely pitiful excuse in a multiplayer game, so yeah your opinion is literally just invalid, accessibility is what dev has to work on, but not with stupid band-aid like this.
Doesn't matter how long the first penalty is, it will lack up, it DO have consequence when people repeatedly do it, timer for the duration reset is obscure and not exactly short after all.
An, unlike hook suicide which is extremely outdated and abusable mechanics, DC timer can be easily increased when all those "waste of que" type players become a problem, so yeah no matter what you say removing it IS objectively good for the game.
I never said people should be allowed to DC with no penalty, also calling my opinion (which I'm pretty sure you misunderstood) invalid because you think DBD is a competitive game out of all things is silly.
Also, removing hook suicide isn't "objectively" anything for the game. Even if you think no one should under any circumstance leave the game, what makes you think stopping them from doing so will make them play the game? They're not going to turn into useful teammates, they'll either throw the game on purpose to get it over with, go afk or maybe become one of those who hide in the basement for 20 minutes. People who don't care about the penalties are already DCing left and right, a good chunk of the ones who'll stay will probably go out of their way to make the game miserable for everyone involved. I'd rather have a short game I know I'll probably lose / win than playing with people who are actively trying to make it unfun for the rest of us.

So, people actually gets the punishment and there will be less "waste"(as in those players aren't meant to play the game, but rather screw others) in ques, which means DC penalties actually DO work unlike what we have now?
People who can't play the game out shouldn't queue up for a game from the beginning, feel free to ask the devs to fix it, but I seriously doubt peeps are allowed to make others suffer just because of their issue.
There is no "valid reason" for leaving the game at all, because if that is a reason why it should be allowed, dc penalty wouldn't be there.
Right... people can't play against one or two killers out of 31 of them (and counting) but they shouldn't play a game they like at all because it'll inconvenience you to have a teammate leave once every 100 games bc of a phobia or whatever. Isn't that just you trying to make others suffer just bc of your own issue :) ?
Also I'm pretty sure your first DC penalty (per day) is 1 minute. It's literally shorter than finding the killer and sacrificing yourself, so if anything, people who kill themselves on hook exceptionnally are buying their team more time than would DCing. Add the penalty to hook suicide and that's a whole lot of people who would insta DC instead of at least waiting to be on hook to leave the game.
-
Yeah I don't bother reading descriptions anymore, at some point they'll just become "this is a t-shirt", which is sad considering they used to contain bits and pieces of lore.
As for the logos, it's probably for consistency sake ? Maybe they're just following the trend of making everything
boringneat and simplistic idk -
People leaving the game early absolutely screw the rest over, but I mean if you take out the "self-sacrifice" option (even if just for the first phase), a bunch of survivos are just going to insta DC and not even wait to be downed to do it.
Also, it's worth noting that some survivors are doing it with a reason and not just because they feel like screwing ppl over, for example people who can't play against certain killers because of phobia (Clown comes to mind), or a disability (I never kill myself or DC but I'm pretty much deadweight against Dredge, Wraith and more generally when a killer / map screws with vision too much).
And even without acknowledging some people have valid reasons for wanting out of a game, you can't really justify forcing people to keep playing when they don't want to. I just wish bots would replace DCs & early hook suicides.

Yeah, i know it isn't really fair to say that they only care about survivors. They clearly care about both.
I'm just still salty about the hook counters and a fov slider would improve how much i could enjoy the game by a lot.
It honestly shouldn't be that hard to make one though. They have perks like Shadowborn and Monitor that already play with it and it's also changes on Legions power
Yeah I figured it'd be difficult to implement but considering there are already things that change the FoV it shouldn't be that complicated I think. I do think we'll get it someday though, I just hope we don't have to wait too long..
-
I'd love to see more challenges, even more variety in daily challenges.
I think your idea of hooking survivors ina certain order would be fun for killer but I'm afraid it could lead to killers ignoring other survivors, so it wouldn't be so fun for them.
I had submitted the idea of XP incentives for players who use the Shine of secrets' perks. That way we would be encouraged & rewarded for switching up builds.
Also I wish we had a wall of fame of sorts for either killing or Mori-ing survivors (similar to Bubba's masks which was fun if you forget the reward drama), even without any rewards it could be fun to see who you haven't killed / moried yet on each killer and try to complete the "collection"
-
Besides the "balance issues" being used as an excuse for people against FOV slider & similar things (which I agree are poor excuses), isn't more difficult to implement accessibility settings for killers because they're in 1st person and have different heights, which I assume demands more work and has way more complications than changing UI stuff on the survivor side bc they're all the same PoV ?
@NoHookDC@Sonzaishinai@ProfessorDunwich I mean we literally just got the heartbeat thing for survivors and it's only because of the noise the Spine Chill nerf made. If BHVR was to nerf or rework shadowborn I have no doubt we would get a FoV slider in the following weeks. Also the previous accessibility setting was for colorblindness, which was mainly done to help killers see the scratchmarks & pools of blood, so I feel like you guys are jumping the gun a bit tbh.
In any case, I have no idea how complicated it is to implement a FoV slider but until we get it I do agree these challenges should be changed. There are challenges where you have to use 3 perks but you can use a fourth one, so I don't understand why the adept challenges exist. If ppl want to do the adept they will, there's no reason to force people to do them through challenges...

even if it's old dh dash - you're not ever getting the 2.7 speed burst on hit. the distance you lose is tremendous. stealth killers become a huge danger.
it's at best a sidegrade. defo not an upside overall.
Besides killers who literally just forget No Mither lets you pick yourself up, I've seen it mostly used with flashlights and "anti-pick up/ hook" builds (usually in swf).
UB is used for the extra 10% recovery time, and still conveys the surprise effect for killers who are aware of the NM timing. And athough I 100% agree about IW, No Mither's IW is still better bc it works while exhausted and also while dying.
Also I'm sorry but adding a whole exhaustion perk effect isn't a sidegrade, no matter how you put it, it still adds the possibility of denying the perk's negative effect (and extend a chase at that).
Ultimately I don't believe they would make an entire new DH from scratch or have 2 perks with it even if it's a little different, I'm just curious bc it's like the 5th time I see someone suggesting merging these two specific perks and I just don't get it. I know it was a popular combo but I figured it was bc DH was the best exhaustion perk and that ppl would simply equip an other one now (mostly if you're right and it wouldn't be that good)

My point is, anytime killers ask for accessibility features for, i dunno maybe DEAF people WHO CANNOT HEAR ANYTHING? Or for dealing with motion sickness. The answer is: "Well, no, for balance reasons" so i guess deaf people can just go away and not play killer, and people who get motion sickness should have to use a perk forever.
And yet here is this thread discussing an accessibility change that was made for survivors that is an obvious buff to them but everyone seems to think: "its fine because accessibility is important"
Which i agree with, but why can't killer get some of these things too?
I absolutely agree killers should get accessibility settings and I also think people who say they shouldn't get any bc of balance are wrong. But I still don't understand how you think complaining against the implementation of an accessibility setting and claiming it's a buff is going to be any help for the implementation of other accessibility settings which people are against because they think it'd be a buff.
(Also the heartbeat is absolutely not a very obvious buff except against Sadako btw, I invite you to try it out yourself)
In any case, I'm glad (and sorry) I misunderstood your point, I thought you were simply and purely against the setting bc it was for survivors. Considering we basically agree and it's getting late for me I'm gonna go now, so have a good night / day / whatever suit your timezone :).

I'm not making people who don't like this change look like haters, I'm saying people who say it's normal disabled people shouldn't be able to play video games (you) are vile, people who are making valid points about Sadako and whatnot aren't included in my reply.
The only reason disabled people not being able to playing a lot of game is "just the way it is" is because of people like you who are literally saying "I don't actually care about the setting but if I had the choice I would delete it", which again, I find absolutely vile.

Should hearing impaired people not get access to the same kind of information just because they are playing killer?
omg just re-read my previous replies, killers not hearing well during chases is an intended mechanic, if an accessibility setting is implemented (which of course would be a good thing), it would reflect that.
Also what are you trying to argue rn (genuinely) ? bc it sure sounds like you're using disabled ppl as an argument against an accessibility setting, which I'm sure you understand is a very backwards thing.
Accessibility isn't an us v them thing, stop trying to make it be. If your issue is actually the lack of accessibility for killers, then go advocate about that instead of arguing about how unfair an accessibility setting bc it came sooner for one side and agreeing about people who claim it's a buff.
Edit: Just noticed your edit about shadowborn: you do know HoH & deaf people relied on Spine Chill before the accessibility setting was implemented ? And now you're complaining against the thing that fixed this problem bc the same problem exists on the killer side ? Like what ? I genuinely can't tell if you believe I don't want accessibility settings for killers (in which case I assure you I do) or if you just use accessibility & disabilities to fight about "us v them" when it's clearly not the place or time.

Ah ok, so you are just biased then.
Thanks!
lol please do elaborate on how hearing impaired people getting access to information all other survivors already had is unfair because of an intended mechanic that works as intended...
At some point you have to understand an asymetrical game is, in fact, asymetrical. It's like crying about killers being faster than survivors or saying Boons should be broken permanently bc Hex do.
The only biased people here are the ones complaining about accessibility settings bc "boohoo why did survivors get something but killers didn't"
