Are they fixed this finally lol? I mean they fixed this glitch a million times but people always found the new ways.
i'm sure someone's gonna find a way to break it, every time they patch this a new method gets found eventually. one of the few benefits of the game's spaghetti code i guess lol.

slinger is still extremely oppressive in 1v1 if you know how to use him right. you'd be surprised how many loops are unsafe against him

This is unreal. It's been 2 days. Buff this, nerf that, rework those...I would love to see the crying that would occur if the original Mega Man were released today.

it looks normal in the trailer so i'm betting it's bugged
-
i know it's never happening but if it does i'm buying it in a heartbeat
-
i like legion in terms of visual design but playing them feels like a chore on most maps or against decent survivors. maps like rpd and badham especially make your power functionally unusable if survivors don't group together unless you're running never sleep pills, and i think most people can agree that mending simulator isn't really a fun experience for survivors. they need a complete rework, the power itself is the problem.
-
this chapter feels immensely rushed, just like most chapters now.
the 3 month chapter release schedule seems to cripple most chapters with any glint of potential and it makes me very sad
-
survivors can still do the pallet vault thing btw, as far as i can tell the fix for that just flat out didn't work
-
i mean if they're into that i guess
-
i think they literally ported hunk's run animation from re2, and poorly at that. the run animation is definitely different from the default but it looks off, especially in frenzy.
https://youtu.be/QZ1Dyr4uB6Qif you look at this video you'll also see that the frenzy hit animation is the default, and it sort of snaps into it very unnaturally.
this skin looks unfinished and i hope it gets fixed.
-
i hope she explodes
-
no skin is worth the price imo, but i feel it could use its own voicelines and animations. although he may have a unique frenzy run animation? it's hard to tell because finding survivor pov footage of him is very difficult, but it looked like that may have been the case when i looked at a streamer's vod after a match with him.
also the mori looks sick as hell with the outfit lol
-
i'd like to also point out that pallet vaults while bounding are still very clunky and often don't work, and there are still a lot of visual issues with clipping. i've noticed that sometimes the second bound won't activate (although this is temporary unlike the ptb bug) and that hits don't register despite the survivor being slammed or thrown into a wall as well.
wesker is a lot of fun but unfortunately still feels pretty janky. with the state nemesis is in a year after the first RE chapter, i'm worried none of this is gonna be addressed.
-
genuine answer is terry akers from soma bc i love that game and terry freaks me the hell out

Are you serious or just trolling? Because I'm sure that BHVR didn't design it to be that way therefore its a problem and should be fixed.
this is intended iirc
-
i'm still enjoying him a lot, but his vaults still feel very clunky and i feel like now i'm missing a lot of hits i should be getting

Yeah. It's a shame. Well I have to but I don't like it since the prices for a lot of stuff is just bad.
"i have to" no you don't

they've shown killer legendaries/ultra rares can have different audio with huntress's baba yaga outfit but haven't seem to have done much with that at all since.
-
i can't believe they're making Albert Wesker real

Based purely on lore and not at all on ingame synergy, Deathslinger and Hillbilly. They're both tinkerers of some kind after all !
they could stick together and turn close range slinger shots into instadowns though. can't really dodge a billy while speared
i think he could work with sadako too. spear survivors and drag them to tvs so she can teleport and build condemned. plus the spear would interrupt the tape insert animation.

oh yeah they've straight up said that MMR decay isn't a thing yet and they're gonna add it later down the line
ohh, fair enough then
still sucks though

mike and nancy's parents

i hate him. played him near exclusively for like a year, got bored and now my mmr on him is too high to make any games with him playable since i suck at him again and i'm going against comp players every time i queue into a match, even though i play him like once a month for a daily or whatever. i'm pretty convinced mmr decay was never implemented lol
-
i think as long as the shrine gets an overhaul soon it's fine. my main issue with the game's monetization is the use of microtransactions and the skin prices.

On a tangent if I were a better shot it would be tempting to try a Silent Sniper build on Deathslinger with his two add-ons that reduce his terror radius while aiming plus Monitor and Abuse which further reduces it out of chase. With those combined you have only a 12 meter radius while aiming and a 24 meter radius out of chase while not aiming. So the idea would be walk up to about 25-30 meter distance, start aiming, and slink up while aiming the remaining distance until you are within the 18 meter range of the rifle. They still won’t hear the terror radius at that point but you can hit them at that range.
Probably tricky to do, especially since you still have a red stain they can spot, but who knows? 🤷♂️
maybe you could do something like pig with whispers? M&A for a 24m terror radius and both TR addons, maybe a couple aura reading perks to know exactly where people are. when whispers triggers, start aiming and keep aiming until you have a shot. they shouldn't hear you coming but against survivors who look around often idk how well this would really work, worth a shot though
-
i might as well tag him since he'll probably find this anyways
-
i could see eddie as a legendary but hopper has been in the series for longer and is a more developed character. maybe we'll get both, who knows.
also bold of you to assume i don't want to play as ted wheeler
-
survivor:
wglf, for the people, bt, guardian/babysitter
killer:
forced penance, monitor and abuse, shadowborn, lethal pursuer
-
nah midwich is fine
maybe add some expanded outdoor sections as it is a bit small but outside of killers who are already overpowered it's a fairly balanced map imo.
-
any perk that depends on another perk to function is poorly designed. this is pre-rework small game levels of bad.
-
none, i tend to just immediately redeem them, don't really see the point in saving. i do hoard addons though, i have over 300 rickety chains

It's not that hard to understand that in order for something to be horror, it needs to create a sensation that something bad is about to happen soon. And you do that through unpredictability and visual/sound cues. In this game, something bad is the equivalent of being caught by surprise by the killer, or doing something that might get his attention and make him come after you.
Not only that sensation makes the game considered to be "horror", but it also makes it fun.
What's fun in always knowing where the killer is, what he's doing and what's about to happen ? Absolutely nothing. I am pretty sure that most people would find a game in which you just do gens and escape pretty unenjoyable.
Now in order to be able to argue like normal intelligent human beings, we should also stop with this "oh well that it's subjective" argument. Everything in this whole world can be subjective. I might consider foods that contain GMOs not to be foods. The general consensus of what food actually is and what somebody means when he says "food" is well known.
You also know what I mean when I refer to the word "Horror", and most people think about the same thing when they hear the word "Horror", they think about ghosts, jump scares, feelings of unease, eerie places, dangerous situations, the woods during the nigh.
People coming around telling me "B-B-b-but some people consider Stephanie from Lazy Town to be scare". Good for them man, that's not the general consensus
what is defined as food is much more absolute than what is defined as horror so that's an awful comparison lol. i hate to break it to you but different people consider different things scary, so no, most people don't think the same thing when they think of horror. maybe there are some common aspects or tropes seen in horror media that are well known but what actually scares someone is completely subjective.
-
as nominomad said, horror is subjective. to me, it sounds like what you're asking for is a rehash of the same tropes instead of something remotely unique. gore and darkness aren't the defining aspects of good horror.
