In my opinion Blight players are very similar to Nurse players. They either lose horribly to the point where I just give a kill for them at the EGC or they are the kind that runs Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer and slug everyone at 5 gens with Infectious + Alchemist Ring. There's no in between.
I am very much inbetween those
-
I'm into it

you know what snitches get?
Snitches get scritches

I'd put Marguerite at the top. She's the most tragic of the Bakers imo. Jack is just turned into a deranged sadist, Lucas was already a dick, but you see more echoes of who old Marge used to be.
I.e. in "bedroom" despite flipping out when Clancy didn't eat her meal she goes and makes him another (even more disgusting) one, and there seems to be some lingering southern hospitality there. She genuinely thinks she's looking after him and doing things in his best interests, and that she's actually serving him nice home cooking of the sort she used to make. So I find something more disturbing about her compared with Jack and Lucas' "let's just kill you horribly" tactics

Not wrong but cowardice
Fear of a 45 minute game when the last two survivors remaining are blendettes is a healthy fear

I like it as part of a healer build. On Claud I run her own perks plus a medkit, no one else is allowed to self care except me and I put a stop to anyone trying it with empathy.

Could you hypothetically remove the downside of adrenaline vial by upping the dpi and just have 7 rushes which recharge quickly?

Why not? Look at balanced landing. It wasn't all that great most of the time, it happened to be a little better on one certain map, killers moaned and about it and the devs took care of it promptly. This kind of balancing should apply to BBQ too if they should be consistent. Too OP on fast killers. Tinkerer is also too strong.
Sluzzy everyone is aware you run noed on nurse now, the joke is kinda over

Doesn't Blight have an add-on that causes this? Make sure you don't have Compound 7 equipped
This does sound like compound 7.
Slightly off topic but to anyone who's wondered if compound 7 and adrenaline vial make a good combo, they don't. I tried it yesterday, don't do that to yourself.

Well if it is on its not working because it seems to think I'm good

It's actually funny how some of these people play.
I saw a SWF that takes Object, they picked the map and they all split up across gens and start hammering them immediately at the start of the trial. They play like it's a tourney. Half of the killers in the game can't combat that. You wonder how many games they win, and you wonder why after queuing for 10 minutes or so per game they try to rush their way out in about 3 minutes.
Next swf is one I see quite often. They always pick the map and always seem to have BNPs or good toolboxes. They'll all jump on a gen at the start and try to knock one out asap or they'll go for 2&2 and they again dont do anything but gens they just hammer them like their life depends on it.
There's only reason Nurse that can combat these kinds of groups. Spirit and Freddy are mad overrated. You're only gonna win these games by slugging but of course they'll have a few unbreakables thrown in to counter this.
These groups aren't uncommon. It's literally tournament gameplay some groups because it's just split up and hammer gens. Where's even the challenge when you face someone like Trapper? or wraith? or Demogorgon?
With survivor queue times you get used to the comfort of the lobby. Actually getting into a game can be quite unnerving, which is why some teams will do their best to get back into it in 5 minutes.

Did you check their steam profile. When I faced them in a game last week (they suicided on first hook), I checked their profile after the game and they have like 73 pages of comments of people -rep them for suiciding or d/cing.
I saw some of the comments, apart from the dcing/letting go on hook complaints there's a lot that relate to facecamping, tunnelling, slugging for the 4k, moriing off first hook, noed nurse...
"face camped me with iri head because of post nerf DS"
"facecamped a poor survivor then complains about gen rush"
People love to do the things they complain about in this game...

Please god no emotes. For anyone that doesn't like being teabagged at the exit gates give re: resistance a shot, you'll miss the lack of options DBD has quickly.
-
Also be sure to check out the OP's playstyle from this video (it's the Meg) it'll make a lot of this make sense

Hex: Sluzzy
The constant pandering towards these overpowered killer mains fills you with rage
all totems spawn inside the killer's rectum at the beginning of the match, instantly exploding and causing them to suffer from the status effect 'haemorrhoids' for 2/3/4 months

I've unlocked Pandora's Box, haven't I ?
It's alright I'm getting to the point where I can actually use his power on lerys, so I'll behave and leave the dpi alone
-
I've been playing blight again recently and my mouse has a dpi button, don't tempt me with with this sinful information
I don't think this alone will make a good blight though. It's not just restricted turning that makes him a pain in the arse to learn
-
Bringing this topic back to say I'm getting better at blight on lerys BC I keep getting sent there over and over
Just had two lerys games in a row. Thank you game, very cool

do hags camp in the basement? I never camped and never will but is it a valid strat for the hag?
Get a survivor in the basement, one trap at the top of the stairs, one at the bottom, GG
-
You will play against him, and you will enjoy it. They'll buff him after release to have 200 knives, every single one will end up in you, and you will be grateful for the experience.
-
Only if there's an addon that lets you combine the bat and the flashlight, for clicking purposes
-
Yeah the heat got turned way up recently, I've been getting battered as killer 😅
I've also had better teammates as survivor, my kill rate has crashed but my escape rate has soared. It's like the self carers and urban evaders have just been swept away to another dimension...
-
Certain amount of comments/time before being able to post - not a terrible idea
Certain amount of in-game hours - not good, there's people on here who've played since 2016 and who still come out with the stupidest crap imaginable

When I talk about appearance (in this thread) I obviously mean their face.
Nea has a head cosmetic that smothers her in enough warpaint to make her look acceptable, maybe that's the way to go?

I got back to my nurse training again today and thought I'd put on the green addon that turns you into a 115er. Got mildly bullied as expected but then pulled a 2k out of my arse at the end somehow so that was nice

Just saying this, apparently hacking isn't banable just ran into the same hacker that I played like 2 months ago, same name same account.
I doubt they will care if you use a M&K adapter, in fact I'm surprised they haven't done a M&K support in console dbd.
They haven't unfortunately, they've said it's too much work

I think they should reduce the number of map offerings like getting rid of The Game, Lery, Hawkins and Midwich offerings and merge them into a single "indoor map offering" so it selects one of those 4, it would help making the green bloodweb pool smaller so green addons on Killer are not way rarer than they should.
3 map offerings- one for indoors, one for outdoors, and the cancelling one
And yeah we'd get party streamers much more as well...
-
Honestly I think the situation you described would happen more often if lockers were highlighted
-
Same as others have mentioned, knowing where people are as legion. Guess that's a common one?
-
I can't think of any logical* reason why it wouldn't be allowed. 3rd party software to "get an advantage" isn't allowed, but in dbd with crossplay on it's not giving yourself any advantage than other killers in your matchmaking pool don't have by default.
*logic and dbd don't always go hand in hand, however
-
"I know most of you all will say propably something like: "Oh it's just a first few days, give him some time. You'll get used to him. Stop crying baby survivor"
I won't say that, but I will think it

Coxcombed Clapper is OP.
I disagree. I wouldn't even put it in the top 5 most obnoxious iri addons, especially considering gen grabs are rare now and wraith stomps and snarls like a mini-demo.
-
None. Playing killer is toxic af and people who do so should be ashamed.
-
Where are these low rank survivors at night hiding? I only get sweat squads at night, combined with the survivor queues it's not really a time worth playing at.
-
Le double post has arrived
-
Wraith has good add-ons, which are fun, strong without being overpowered, and can combine to make for different playstyles. As add-ons should be. Before this the combinations were more difficult bc if you don't have windstorm you feel like an invisible snail.
Trapper has a similar thing going on with bag addons.

This topic is now about Decisive Strike, apparently.
Have any of you heard of a perk called noed? I think it warrants some discussion, ideally here

Okay here's some practical doc advice from someone who plays him and does well against him. You might uninterested but maybe someone else will be.
-Get a feel for when he uses his static blast. Most doctors have their own pattern. After hooking someone is common, it's also likely to come at any point when he's not in chase. If you're lucky he'll use it while chasing someone and keep going for them which some do (it's a waste doing that)
-if you're just on the edge of his terror radius try and stay around there, and be ready to run in the appropriate direction when you feel the blast coming
-if you're near a locker when the blast is coming, get in it. He won't see you and you won't get any more madness
-if you're near a locker but can't get in it quietly in time, rush in. He's gonna know where you are anyway, you'll save yourself some madness though
-if he has iron maiden and you think you can keep him busy for 30 seconds, get out of the locker post-blast, spend the four seconds he can see your aura crouchwalking around like a noob and then hightail it out of there. He'll probably be more intrigued by you than by any teammates he just zapped if you're healthy
-constantly zapping you around a small loop will probably be unproductive for him, so let him do it. Don't bother stopping to try and drop it, just go round and round until he hits you. You're not trying to stay healthy forever, just waste time.
-play him yourself and experiment with addons to see what they actually do, and you'll know what tricks he's brought with him and which he hasn't. I.e. if he has fake pallets, and you keep getting the red stain in chase you know he has order and discipline, that means he doesn't have restraint so the fake doctors won't tell him where you are and zapping you won't show your aura, and it means he doesn't have calm so if you hear a distant terror radius then it's a real one. Unless it's iri king in which case have a fun match I guess!
-
No way to travel the map quickly, and a non-lethal power that mainly counters inexperienced survivors and their weaknesses (bad attempts at stealth, skillchecks, pallet camping)
-
Yeah no counterplay if you run around like a headless chicken and let him stick 16 knives in you. There's also no counterplay to pig if you refuse to take the trap off...
-
You have pretty sensible opinions for someone named @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe ;)
I agree I like the new killer, seems like one you might actually see (unlike blight and the twins) and one you won't feel instantly depressed when you do see them (like the twins)
Default outfit is a bit garish even for me but there'll be some cheap recolours of it. He could use some more spikes on his dick as you say so I might put that in ptb feedback
Blight and wraith changes are great, DS change is great, lack of a new map is sad just bc I would've liked to see a neon hellscape that no one else would enjoy
But in general pretty content
-
Curl up into a ball and scream.
Blight on lerys is horrible. You can travel fast through the corridors on the edges if the map but that's about it.

No it was any means necessary.
And for the people.
And soul guard
And built to last
And Power Struggle
And-
Ahah yeah power struggle was a good one too
-
There's always one mediocre or situational survivor perk every chapter that is predicted to be the new insane and game breaking thing that you'll see 4/4 players running every match
Remember when it was breakout?
-
He's pretty strong, not OP tho. He wasn't OP before the nerf either, just a bit more 🧀-y and annoying
