Doesn't make my argument less valid, there's been plenty of times i'v had to stop doing gens and start searching for a chest because my team mates have refused to heal me.

But it also doesnt made it to an argument because i dont have these issues. Maybe because I couldnt care less about staying injured and playing around with grunts of pain.

And if I meet a teammate i usually get healed if I want to. And im not dying faster than in my selfcare-times. But im also a tryharder, I need it so play smart.

And Im okay that you have some issues without Selfcare and you can continue playing it. I dont want you or other people to play like I do. Just do it wisely. Dont excessive. ONE heal takes >32< seconds. That's a really big deal. That is a ton of time you hopefully invest smart and not to get injured 3 seconds later or doing a thing you could have made injured. Or you could have wait until someone heals you idk.

Spamming this perk is killing your game and thats a fact. The fact is if 4 survivor running this perk the game will last much longer and will be much harder because the killer has the time doing his #########.

So please in the love of god, use it wisely and be aware how often you are using it and maybe other teammates.

  • Yeah Moris should just be an alternate sacrifice. That means after someone entered the second hook stage you can kill him instead of hooking. Maybe you can drop the mori to green offerings or sth ^^ or brown

It's ridiculous overpowered and it encourages the most awful behaviour by the killer. They camp, slug, tunnel, play the most op ######### and mostly you cant do anything against. Right after the first death this game is done for the survivors. Maybe one can win the endgame and I am sure even then, at red ranks, you will dpip because moris dont allow you to pip.

Soo I like your idea but moris are completely broken atm and the more people feel bad causing the moris the higher the chance that the devs will do sth about it ^^ So it isnt that unfun to play against what it is now.

Except for newer players. Some people dont know about moris and are excited about seeing more from them. But at some point you realize how the game works and you see that impact this offering has. And then it become unfun^^ Sometimes you will try and maybe get close to an escape but yea

    well

    what ever

hopefully they get reworked and if not because they're soo balanced then enjoy the gameplay and be thankful :P (or ygb)

Your telling people don't heal so they can be downed in 1 hit instead of 2. To be in a state that will give yourself away and be in an area where a killer is more likely to find you. Sounds like someone wants the game easier for themselves by telling other people not to heal so the killer will go after the wounded people instead.

No one talks about no healing. We are talking about not selfcaring because it takes much longer. If no one is with you you do gens or idk, cleanse a totem... something helpful to win the game. And if someone next to you you let him heal if he refuses then yea..bad luck but I didnt had these issues in months. I mean it's efficient, 100% faster and instead of self healing the whole time you put pressure on the killer.

Being temporary injured isnt that problem especially as experienced high rank player.

It seems that guys always wanna play smart, smarter then the others. But you dont if you heal every single time yourself for 32 seconds or more... Just to get injured 10 seconds later and ´start healing again if the killer stops chasing you it's just awful... So often I could have done one more gen if the guy next to me just came over and help doing this gen. No he selfcared. If he came over I could heal him within 16 seconds and we could do the gen faster. I mean, it's not that efficient but better then the original scenario. Scenaríos were refusing to selfcare and instead doing a objective could have safe at least one other survivor..with many 2nd chance perks maybe 3... but nah they selfcare...just being deleted from the game for such a looong time

  • + you can heal each other way faster, if there is someone on your way ^^ but iidc if i am injured, you adapt.

but yea I hate those selfcare people. Not even because they selfcare. It's more like:

They doing it the whole game... They consum this perk like every other thing in their reallifes. It's nuts and if thats not enough: Their 32 seconds Full health state means not much to them, they often get easily first hit or they offer a hit just to selfcare for another 32 seconds -_-

Here is how it should be:

    Hooked, Chasing, Rescuing, Repairing

here is what it is with excessive selfcare users:

    Hooked, Chasing, Repairing, Selfcaring

    or

    Hooked, Chasing, Rescuing, Selfcaring

In one scenario people die way faster, in the other one doing gens takes way to long.

Please guys try out some weeks without selfcare. Ive been inlove with bond. Sounds silly and I never liked this perk before. But in solo qs it's dope. You know so much things, you play way more efficient. i like seeing whats happening it helps making better decisions instead of guessing what is going on right now. Borrowed Time, Decisive, Adrenaline, BL, DH, Spine CHill, Iron Will, Lightweight, Small Game (...) so many good perks, allowing many different playstyles to win a game way more efficient and smarter.

Selfcare is luxury. If you run it, use it ######### wisely. And dont consume it like your favorite fast food. It's killing :P Like, seriously.

  • What MandyTalk said

+ Like you said, if you're good Nurse then yea you won of course and maybe the survivors just wants to leave the lobby to dodge you and find a better one ^^

I mostly leave high ping huntress or spirit because it's not fun at all. But mostly I start playing one of these killer like Nurse and just destroy the people in my game. (Dont blame me, it's nurse and I had 3 years learning how to play her)

    In conclusion

some people just suicide/dc to find a fun game. You dont know how many people ######### on em and how many bad games they had or idk

Personally i dont like dcs but i understand/feel the most cases

  • I would like to see a higher stun duration. But more like Decisive Strike. Giving Head On +1 sec for the animation it would be perfect.

Means you have 3 seconds to escape the killer + 1 second for the animation.

  • @Peanits said:

I would be all for it, personally, but my concern would be how confusing that would be to new players. If you weren't around for this update or you're not super into the technical side of things (a casual, if you will, the kind of person who probably regularly gets bloodlust), then it would feel really arbitrary as to which maps have it and which don't.

Let's assume you picked up the game today. You have no idea that the map was reworked. As far as you know, bloodlust just isn't work. You'd have no clue why.

I dream of a world without bloodlust too, but I do thing it makes way more sense to do it all at once or not at all.

But this idea would become more and more awful because if you imagine 30 maps and 20 of them got successfully reworked and you as a survivor feel more and more punished from the game for doing everything right while the killer always get rewarded for playing wrong.

I mean for now you can chill in your chairs and thats cool but with more and more balanced maps Bloodlust will become a problem and waiting until every map is fine is pretty rude and for sure not player-numbers-killing.

Investigating in an option to disable bloodlust on reworked maps in the future would be a very smart play.

  • I dont like playing him.

I switched from claudette to ace to Nea and now im leveling jane because her booty is so funny. But her screams are awful if survivor should ever get build in things, jane needs iron will and calm spirit xD

And keep in mind those character switches happened over the last 3 years so maybe one day Im playin Ash but for now he's boring and ugly. And I never liked his perk. I love strong perks and fun perks but MoM was just annoying to play and play against. I like it strong, not toxic

  • @Peanits The Dev Team mentioned that the tier should give you at least what you want and tier 3 should be the better version of it. So where's the point of level 2? It's just a senseless filler-tier for back in the days. Removing tier 2 of every perk would help a lot ^^

And it's fair enough. In fact that the amount of bloodwebs will increase more and more. And that's not fun, that's crazy.

But you never listen to newer players.

    @not_Queen

Or I just have haluzinations. Everytime I see an emotional post from a newer player or people who play the game casual, not asking for balance-related changes. No they ask vor soem quality of life changes to make the game feel better so it can actually grew because it wouldnt scare away any new players anymore.

No, the thing I am reading every time a Dev react to one of these threads is like (the point of the answer) "No, everything is fine, git gud, adapt. But hey buy the game it's cool and if not it's also cool!"

Maybe Im just crazy or high or sth idk but it makes me sad that the devs dont listen to the new players - asking for some QoL changes and not sth crazy like balance-related things, killers, new mechanics what ever.

Idk it makes me sad sometimes. But you know it better, hopefully. I mean you did a pretty good job for core members and veterans, so far.

  • Now the devs JUST have to rework them all like Goodham :D ez

no seriously i love it too it's so dope. And as someone who watches out for totems already adept on the new design. I find them and theyre really good. All those "i just search for totems when it's ruin" players cant find any totem xD It's nuts

the first times the intro of badham played I was like "mhhhhhhhhhhhhh badham.__. .. oh wait no it's the best map now OH YEA lets go"

  • Ok i start with sth unexpected

What's when the killer is kill-rushing?

When he camps and tunnels the first person he got or better he denies the rescue in a ridiculous awful way. Every time a killer decides to just camp another one dies and he gets slugged. Then idk the third person comes to safe seccesfully, dies, then 2 are down and the killer chases the unhooked person to slug him and so on. Everytime a killer decides to proyi camp/tunnel/slug (on a hook or sth) tactically he just wins and maybe only one survivor is able to survivor through the hatch/endgame, maybe. Sometimes killer just starts camping a hook for any reasons (if theyre legit or not doesnt matter) he founds someone and just kills and slug him and doesnt allow a hook until every one is injured waiting for a mistake...

It's awful and not fun to play. And if you my friend arent able to kill someone these days and play it well enough yea... you get #########. And yea often it's deserved you just cant accept the fact that you played bad "oh i played the pallets perfectly the survivor is just op" yea obviously you dont. Your decisions were bad or the survivor was right in your head.

Watch some good players like tofu, jendenise, zubat or idk to learn sth about how to play correctly.

And yea it's hard to win against a strong team maybe because you had mostly little fools who made awful decisions and wastes tons of time. There are things you cant know like how efficient the survivors played. Did they made gens together or far away from each other. Did they waste lots of time by self healing? How was their positioning on/off chase. Did they react or predict? Did they saw each other through aura reading perks and so they played much more efficient instead of all 3 survivors wanna hook rush one survivor for examble. Did they waste time through senseless urban evading?

If you have 4 survivors, tryharding then yea. If you cant do well you will screwed over ^^

It would help you alot learning from better players and even more from more matches like this because in this way you can learn to play as efficient as possible. Watch some killer perk tier lists on youtube, some of them are pretty good. Whispers for examble is an efficiency perk. You know where people are and not and so you dont waste time searching for nothing. Do you use anti healing or anti gen perks? healing is optional and gens are the objective.

Your presure are disabled survivor and the survivors pressure are gen progresses. Every + second on a gen is + pressure against you. Every - progress and every down/hook/death is pressure from you against the survivors. And so you have to play.

  • Im also working with pallets in real life and campers. Pretty silly but it's true and yea pallets are pretty heavy but I think when you get chased from a person who wants to murder you youve got the adrenaline to drop them easily. And maybe they are resistent enough to hurt a killer for a moment. So i think it's legit

  • What MandyTalks said. It wastes too much time and there are other way more impactful perks than selfcare ^^

It was good but after the healing nerf it changed to a 5th killer perk

  • So the main argument is: chases lasts longer

So Im playing for a very long time without selfcare now and I had to adjust my gameplay and personally (cant speak for others) my chase time doesnt decreased . It's still the same.

Also when I see other Survivors being chased by the killer doesnt seem to chase much longer than others without SC. I dont nkow the exact reasons but Selfcare doesnt seem to effect the chase time that much.

And I mean Im not always injured. If there is a survivor who has the time to heal me I let him do so. So we're playing much more efficient.

The only point I get is the selfheal in a situation were no one else could do it. But at this point, the game is done. If 3 people hang out I can safe someone with BT because the killer cant patrol all survivors and if there is only one left, beside of of, in fact that there is not a nearly done generator which is the last one + the killer is not camping the game is done equally what youre doing. If you decide to suicide your teammate the killer will leave you on the ground and go for the last one.

The point is, in this situation Selfcare is pretty much useless.

So yea there are rare situations were SC would be dope but it's not really worth a perkslot in its current state in my opinion ^^

Very often I see people senseless healing and maybe they need the healthstate because without they die even faster. But Im talking about people who are able to play solid and in this case this perk wont carry them. it prevents those people doing their objective or other important actions to win the game.

Sometimes I see people running Pharmacy to have at least one 100% Selfcare. And they can decide wisely when they wanna use it. I mean I wont run but in the case of having a medkit it's much more efficient than selfcarring for a long time...

The other thing is: Using Botany Knowledge in addition. So you choose 2 whole perkslots for selfcare. So instead of having 4 different perks, one for idk efficiency, one for alturistic actions, one for increasing the chase time, one to counter certain playstyles (adrenaline, decisive, unbreakable, deliverence, spine chill, or one perk just for fun idk. Like my perkbuild: Adrenaline (for fun) Dead Hard as chase extention, Bond for a more efficient and smarter gameplay and Borrowed Time to counter tunneling and played well the teammate can use his extra health state to safe me. I also could switch BT for DS but the thing is BT works multiple times and counters the same thing (tunneling) for every survivor in fact that if my teammates arent not-smart, they also can safe me. (but I have to play it well and not hook rush someone in front of the killer) I love decisive because i hate it getting camped and love it to transfer the frustration of tunneling back to the killer but BT can have a way higher impact on the game than ds.

So you see. I have 4 perkslots which all have a big impact on the game on completely different things. If I choose to play SC and BK i focus on healing myself within 24 seconds... for one health state and thats all^^ Yea I also heal others faster but remind that healing is still optional and 4 seconds arent that much. If you wanna be efficient on healing you choose We'll make it. Dont get me wrong, BK can safe a lot of time, but there are better perks with a higher impact on the game. Imagine someone with leader which speed ups a lot of things even healing. It safes the same amount of time like BK do + it does lots of more things.

Im drifting off Im so sorry :D im stopping here

The point is... could we all just try to play a weeks without SC? With the intention of improving your own gameplay? Just give it a try. If you need this perk so much because it carries you a lot of times through a game - ok I get it but please.. If you are able to improve/adjust your gameplay you were surprised how fast games can be. And how much better from the quality. I ever had problems playing without SC until Ohtofu makes me realize how much time 32 seconds are... And you can play good and survive for a long time even without SC. Hopefully the devs will change this perk again. In a way were it can be still efficient but also a time booster for the killer.

I liked the idea on a ptb were you were able to heal yourself at 75% and others at 75% healing speed. it got crapped. I think one big reason was that BK countered the downside of the perk which made it awful.

  • I think there are 2 good options duo the stun reduction

    making the stun reduction exhausted

exclude it from balanced landing and make it an own perk

  • Idk know about Doc.. he's pretty bad in some way maybe more than LF actually idk

But Nurse is broken af. She needs a lil bit more balance around her blink so that in what ever the case is, you ACTUALLY have a REALISTIC chance to get away after a blink or a hit

and all her addons shouldnt make her nessesary stronger. More like the Z block from freddy. Except the red ones. But no more extra blinks

  • EGC is mostly crap for survivors. It should be sth where both sides had actually a chance to win instead it's just extremely unfair luckbased and everytime I literally had no chance to escape I loop the killer for the rest of the time to show him that he hadnt any chance against me and that he's not allowed to touch my body. And Im like how killers really try to at least land a hit in the last second for their ego xD

Yea. Very rarely a killer is able to land a hit before the Entity kills me and then he maybe deserved this little win.

  • I like Vanilla with Strawberrys and just a lil lil bit chocolate

    <DerpFace>

  • devs know how broken she is, she's just not fixed yet

  • @Gcarrara said:

Nea gets another vote from me...

    I really don't like her. 😐️

Oh wait, we were talking about Survivors, not Killers?

shhhhh... whisper i said we dont talk about that nea is the entity

and ay, thats mean! she's my main and really beatiful! .. in some areas... I like her! But i also want to play Jane now because i love her booty ^^ Seriously everytime I play Killer and Im chasing a Jane it's sooo funny I always have to laugh when I see her fat booty it's so good :D

My least favorite survivor is David. The reason is that most davids play like monkeys so everytime I see a David Im like "ok the game is over what ever"

  • @SpyMature said:

    Nice bait

    nice try.

  • I ignore this guy who justify the way ghostface works now.

And I also ignore the guy who starts insulting someone as survivor main in combination that the killer gameplay gets ignored which is absolutely not the theme and absolutwly not the case. Every gameplay get's their tweaks they need.

So Im telling you that I am starring at GF the whole time hes >CHASING< me (from the point i saw him sneakin up to me) and it's not depleting his power he just continue stalking, hides for a part of a second behind a wall and so on. And then, during the chase if he wasnt able to make me exposed, he starts his night shroud again, stalks me for the last second where I CANNOT do anything against it because it takes 1.5? secs before I can break him out of "sTeaLtH" and he just onehit me ...

And some guys who knows everything about good game design wanna tell me THATS good game design? Yea and Nurse is balanced pepeHands

Ghostface needs immediately some mechanics which breaks his power when a survivor sees him obviously and especially........when a survivor is chasing him

But Im sure every dev thinks "yea, ######### it. GF is dogshit and it's okay because we need more cosmetics and other dlc killer with broken / exploitable mechanics in this game while major things gets ignored like solo lobbys for examble. But that's just what Im thinking slowly. Not wondering that many veterans leave the game and newbies dont wanna stay.

  • You dont get healed. I was cleansing a totem (injured) and when the last gen popped I saw the icon for the sprint. But i wasnt healed and even if there was the sprint icon on the right, I was running at 4.0 m/s (instead of 6.0 m/s)

  • It was good until the healing mechanics got nerfed. It was a high risk-high reward perk. You wasted 24 seconds to heal yourself. As high ranked killer it's pretty good when people selfcare because it gives you so much time. On the other side you can heal yourself thats cool and investing 24 seconds for one health state was much but okay.

No it takes 32 seconds and to be honest? Sry man i put it out after years. And I will never put it back again except they do sth like in the ptb where you were able to heal yourself and others at 75% of the default healing speed.

Sry but running a perk which wastes 32 seconds which gives you nothing than a health state is ridiculous. It gives you no emblems, it wont open the gates and if you imagine that if everybody just selfcare ones a game the team gave up 2 generators and generators = escape + emblems

It's so bad. People donmt realize that selfcaring kills many teams. Because the most (solo) teams are not that good. And everytime someone is selfcaring instead of doing a gen or sth while someone is being chased by the killer it kills the team. Because you did nothing during the chase. Selfhealing gives you NOTHING than a 32 secs long health state and tbh the first hit is mostly easy to land because in some way you dont give a #########.

I dont know how to explain but Selfcare is sooo inefficient. I dont have anything against healing. 16 seconds are okay (depends on the situation and the killer) and healing others gives you so much emblems. Dont get me wrong.

But selfcare is the most favorite rank 1 killer perk. It makes so many things so much easier. it's bonus time.

    So yea

this perk sucks and everyone who runs and use it (unwisely) IS the problem in the team.

I prefer perks like Dead Hard - much stronger than MoM or the original DS. Bond which helps solo survivors so much with positioning and it helps to play way more efficient. Borrowed Time which gives your teammate a whole health state. Which is also very game changing. Adrenaline, maybe Head on and so on.

    So yea

it's not even A tier anymore

  • You're right. And even more, stuff you can buy with shards become more and more rare

So on the one hand you have to play the game a crazy amount of time AND/OR youve to spent a lot of money to be able to play the perks and killer you want.

    and the tutorials are crap

    the hints are crap

They know how red ranks play the game and want to play the game and that's not sTeAltHy. And they refuse teaching you things like Moonwalking, how different trials work, how pallets and windows spawn. They dont tell you anything because everything is a secret you have to find the dark.Maybe thats cool for new playersor casuals but not for the regulars or veterans.

    but yea youre right sir.

  • @Peanits But when I get hit Im automatically sleeping. So yea I wanna be sure to be awake all the time but in a chase I dont have a choice... So and now imagine not every pallet spawned. Other survivors from the other side from the map who chased Freddy used some pallets. If Freddy would chase/zone me into this corner I wouldnt know which pallet is fake and wich not. The most time I cant know if a pallet is fake. I mean when I get chased and Freddy breaks the pallet and replaces it with a fake then yea.. I noticed that.

But yea I would prefer it letting the players playing with fake pallets and stuff for a few weeks and then see if there is any need changing the fake pallet addon.

    I mean

    you know

We dont wanna freddy Freddy again. That would be rude.

  • Im not annoyed from this game i think.

<- this guy is a veteran from the release with over 5k hours in this game ^^

And yea.. I feel this too. It's not that DbD is annoying me. It does annoy me over years and I always continued playing this game and having fun with all bugs, awful perks, mechanics and balance issues. And im glad the devs try to balance the game better and there were taff times went they started balancing the survivor related game mechanics.

I will see how the maps will gonna be. But dbd is boring. New killer arent very exciting and the most new perks arent viable and fun to play. Ghostface is there. And yea.. dbd is still the same. Solo games are still a huge problem.

And honestly. I loved the action-based dbd. Strong perks, strong combinations of different mechanics. But the whole game and the maps werent balanced for this. So many balance changes made the game more and more boring.

And it's not the devs fault, the loudest part of the community wants that. Perks which just do very slightly effects on the game. And yea that's just boring af. Idk man it's hard to discribe.

The devs also could have perks like the wake up bug, sprint burst on command and stuff like this. Selfcare at 75% healing speed. But the maps and how the most killer works doesnt allow you to have a 15% increased speed at everything. But it makes fun to play it.

It makes fun to have a Boost on command. but it's broken because the major things and mechanics the game are not strong enough for the killer gameplay. And thats frustrating you know?

I dont want sth like Mettle of Man (the early version) that#s just toxic and not fun to play. Also I dont like it to change my whole playstyle for a perk. The fact that it's also annoying as Killer doesnt matter because a pekr like the old MoM would be absolutely fine if how maps are working would work much better. Also some new killer mechanics like a base kit fire up would be so neat. But yea ^^ But that's not how it works and so dbd just becomes very boring and when Im sitting on my table and im about to play some dbd I feel like "nah" it's lame

    I want a balanced game

not a boring and frustrating game

but theyre doing boring stuff because of the way theyre balancing things and when I asked in a dev stream what's with the solo q's i got a "we should think about it" ^^

Today I played my first hour dbd after weeks. Wanna test the SB bug. It feels like a future perk, if the game will be every able to handle perks like this. But I switched it with Dead Hard, because every momentum triggers SB when m2 is active and I am way to lazy to crouch + m2 everytime I do an action.

  • it's fine but unrelenting could be stronger

  • wheres the downvote button

  • Yea i ######### miss this option. Im reading so much trash and I cant dislike it.

I mean at first I wasnt sure about this function because I thought it would be toxic and ######### but then I thought over it and yea.. I agree with the point freedom of speech. Showing feedback or using it as a Strawpoll.

Honestly Im sure this button was a big reason to hang a little bit more around here. People will always try to exploit any thing.

What ever, i loved it WANIT BACK

  • @Milo said:

"sacrificed after the second hook stage"

that ain't mostly true if we're talking about what happens before being put on the hook.

You can get flashlight saved, bodyblock saved or sabotage saved

Okay my man you Sir are out because obviously you missed the point.

  • Ok I wanit back now. Im missing the vote down button so much!

  • I liked the Downvote button. When I didnt like your opinion I just dislike so people see how many users agree with you or not without writing anything. feelsbadman

  • Dude that's crazy. Slowing actions and gens down by a max. of 24-28%. That's huge.

I do heal. But not myself and not if the killer is running Sloppy Butcher or the Killer itself isnt worth it to heal. And also I dont heal when the team wastes too much time on healing instead of doing their objective.

So healing once under cleansing a dull totem.

I mean I wouldnt have anything to make healing more exciting. Means it must be attractive enough to do that and if that#s the case more people heal = killer have more time doing their objectives. Like when they changed Selfcare in a PTB. with Items and other perks it was completely broken but it was an awesome idea and I would heal myself vor 20 seconds. Also healing others in 20 seconds.

Personally if that would be a thing I would run Selfcare again. Even if the devs change medkits and botany knowledge and how they interact.

    Combine those ideas ^^

    https://youtu.be/B4m5ui8Ao8I

This one isn't even close to the "pro" loopers you can find at high ranks, yet he/she was able to stall the killer for almost 5 generators.

Pallet looping is a problem because, other than being an exploit that was later acknowledged as standard gameplay because survivors did their thing and refused to adopt any other playstyle, unless the survivors are inepts it requires zero skill, zero investment and absolutely zero risk for them, but at the same time it's a ginormus time waster for the killer.

are you high? You send a video from idk 2k09? as an argument that looping is still a problem, while the devs already showed and explained their new map design and the reworks? I mean, pallet vacuum, faster/smoother vaults, exhaustion regresses while running, slower killer action speed, more pallets and im pretty sure, insta blinds too.

So dare you. Leave the forums for 5 minutes and shame on you!

  • Moris are WAY to powerful too my friend. They should be just an alternate sacrifice. But instead of being an offering it should be in the base kit. So everyone can use it as often as you want. With out playing the most toxic perk/addon build or playstyle.

And I think before we touch any insta heals, Adrenaline shouldnt be affected by that. I mean this feeling getting rewarded fairly and just sprinting away like "Im outta here boyz" ist just the most satisfying feeling in the game. It's like a veteran, like an OG. if the devs seriously going that far, nerfing a survivor-endgame perk just because some addons are broken I quit. And Im an OG, im playin this game since the release. I love it. I had so much "I hate dbd, I quit - and then come back playin it again until the next time I swear to quit the game" moments. And Im fine with the awful healing mechanic and many changes because it's fair and understandable. But Adrenaline is THE survivor perk it's an OG and the feeling is so ######### great and so deserved. All survivors did their objective and survived. Maybe they tried and tanked multiple hit's to win the game because otherwise they would lose. And then YOU get rewarded for doing so. That's why this perk is amazing as it is, ruining anything would be an emotionless decision wich would completely would break my heart.

Sorry, Im in many ways for some minor changes to make killer more viable even if map reworks a big deal. Because there are still much worse things which should get fixed. And Adrenaline isnt one of these things. Moris and NOED are still toxic and op. Also as killer it's super frustrating being confident with his perk and then it gets cleaned after 14 seconds, or even before it pops. Also why does the killer gets for free a very high reward to come into the endgame? If that's the case he did something wrong. And shouldnt get just for free a wild cart.

    What ever bud

insta heal addons yea, theyre toxic shits, but adrenalines health state shouldnt get changed.

  • it's overpowered, toxic and frustrating to play against

    it's worse

im doing it too because using it as a strategy do get a momentum

but it sucks and shouldnt be a thing tho

  • I would like to make Mettle of Man as complicated as possible. Why not sth like

After doing 6 alturistic actions, the next hit that would put you from the injured to the dying state is ignored.

The Killer will be forced into a 1.8 seconds long attack-cooldown.

The next time you heal back to full health, your Aura will be revealed to the Killer when you are farther than 12/14/16 metres from the Killer.

Mettle of Man will deactivate the next time you are put into the Dying State.

Increases your chances of being the Obsession.

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.

The idea would be that you have to be alturistic in general. Also the killer gets a fixed number. Some of you noticed that 1.8 seconds cooldown is a stbfl at 8 stacks. So as a survivor you're still in danger even if you dodge a hit. I think it would also feel better as a killer and a solid cooldown is better here to prevent possible stacks with eg stbfl.

And another fun fact here is: If you had 4 survivors running mettle of man. Could you imagine? Either one or two could trigger it, because they also have to chase and do gens zu survive. Or they all try anything to get 6 stacks, all of them and they will just die for each other. Soo it wouldnt be the smart play.

Maybe i should make an own discussion o:

  • In one of their Dev-Streams they mentioned that SWF were always a part of the design of dbd. They also talked about the reason why swf wasnt unlocked with the release date.

    So there we go.

But everyone will agree with "the game isnt balanced around coordinated gameplay". And it starts with: Solo survivor is til today not fixed. You still dont know when someone is in a chase, where your teammates are while someone is on a hook to coordinate a safe and so on. So you have a uncoordinated bunch of fools, and coordinated little Roadrunners.

Thats the first major thing. The second major thing is that red ranks are..special.. Because not everyone ist just having some fun, some people like it to act perfectly and they wanna learn how to play the game as professional as possible. So you have again: A Bunch of fools from rank 20 to lets say rank 8 and you have the little Roadrunners mainly in the red ranks.

So from now on you have to balance the game around those 2 majoras things. And there are waaaay more subcategories

I mean if the devs would just adress the problem with the coordination in the solo lobby they would have one survivor unity. Killer and Survivor^^ and not Killer, SWF, Solo Q

Instead of balancing 3 main groups, balancing 2 main groups.

but ay seriously i dont care anymore

i just love it reading the forums and playing some games once in a while. Im pretty much done with the game after 3 years. The only new good thing since years is the wake up exploit and sadly it isnt a perk, would love play a perk which affects vaults and pallet drops effectively. But it's always too crazy ^^

    So

    for the future

swf was always part of dbd and will be

  • the DS stun is effectively 4 seconds long. The survivor is stuck in a animation that takes 1 second, that's why it's 5 seconds.

And now the difference between Decisive Strike and Head On: Decisive Strike is a once per game perk. If you dont get tunneled, you never were able to use the perk slot. If you got tunneled it's gone. Headon is an Exhaustion Perk and works multiple times. So 3 seconds are fine.

DS is pretty perfect right now. It's a old controverse perk and it got changed and most DS players are fine with it and it's not annoying anymore. It reminds you how you play actually. And you dont know when he failed his DS or his DS just run out and you picked him and didnt noticed that. But the one time you got last second DS'ed you feel weird :)

Btw am I the only one who doesnt like the new stun? When I get stunned by a pallet it feels so long and hindrance.

  • Im just smiling at most things. There are guys and they feel like bs-ing you and see how you react or feel about it ^^

And they are playing game and they won or lose and now theyre bad winners or bad losers. You know how those people act

and at some point, like in your case you just report it and press Leave. That's someting that doesnt need to be discussed. Most humans know exactly what's ######### and what's okay.

Dont get me wrong, i like it to be a dick in a good but little meaning way ^^ But ######### like this

... I cant comment sth like this because it's so far down man.

  • I guess you are the exploit using Ghostface, one of those many ^^

  • Yea i want this too. They could stay with the 9% for gens or removed it and add sth different. Wake up applies way more than Resilience i think.

Having a 15% faster vaulting, healing, pallet drop, mending, snap out of it, opening exit gates - everything is so god damn smooth. I love to play it ^^ And mostly im halflife because i hate healing. It's pointless most of the time ^^

As far as i´m aware, the survivor equivalent of NOED has been untouched for a long time: Adrenaline.

    the EQUIVALENT LOL

Where is Adrenaline the eq of NOED?

To trigger you have to do all 5 gens and you have to survive until then. Noed is just: Im afk for 5 minutes and get a insta down + movement speed.

Adrenaline requieres that you did everything as survivor, noed nothing. Adrenalines counterplay is it to kill survivors before they win. That's the trick ;)

Noeds counterplay is "survivor have to do another objective, 5 times"

Sorry mate but you can leave now because obviously your opinion is crap at this point. Sry for that <3

  • another point is:what if killer would abuse the chase mechanic? and they run brutal strenght + fire up? I dont think so Sir

i like the idea because while youre not in a chase it doesnt matter if you destroy pallets faster, but it would be nice to safe some time doing so via a build in BS ^^ Thats more like a QoL change maybe

  • Its not the only highly imbalanced thing in dbd. Like the amount of safe pallets, moris as an easy mode, surringes and so on

And the devs already said that they're on it. They said soemthing like they wanna change the way the whole insta heal mechanic works. Means Adrenaline would be also adressed.

And yea mostly when the devs touch things like that there are just 2 options: they change it again until it's completely different but strong as to the beginning. Or it's completely nerfed into the grounds of the hell^^ I mean the one-health-state heals arent that much of a problem. I mean there are some mechanics and perks which gives an extra health-state or perks which just give you one extra health state. Legions ability or from the doc^^

and we all love how adrenaline feels when you get it. you're fully healed and fly away for a few seconds. It would be very rude if the devs would ruin some nice ingame feelings ^^

problematic feels the surringe which heals you 2 health states. I mean tell this to a good billy,he could deal with that. But as a wraith? You finally got some pressure and then get someone insta healed by another and maybe this was the only chance to get some kills/hooks. That sucks yea.

But I had no idea how to fix it without destroying the dynamic and the gameplay changing aspects of a surringe. Just sayin. Not everything must also gettin bored down. Things can be strong and fun to play against.

    Like Head on

I'd rather keep it the way it is but have a perk specifically for vaulting faster and widening the threshold to achieve a running vault.

I would also love a vault perk. Remove the faster vaults on Spine Chill and Resilience and create a perk which makes vaults 15% faster. I would love it - would be pretty decent.

But having Resilience on 15% would be dope too.

Red ranks already don't heal, I'd rather them not be able to gen rush any faster than they already are.

This will change will the map reworks.

It would be nice but I think at 15% it might require a condition so people aren't healing to 99% and using the speed boost until the killer appears. Maybe as long as you aren't healed more than 50%.

But it would mean you take always 32 secs to heal instead of doing main things. That's massive man

youre right sir, people would try this, but it would give you so much time as a killer. I mean, you wanna be 15% faster and not slower you know what i mean?^^
