Realtalk?
Entity = universe
Mind flayer = god of a realm
so entity>mind flayer

But Spirit huh?
Oh yea I forgot. Nurse has certain points where you can see what she's doing and react to her. Unlike Spirit where it doesnt matter what you do. Gonna like the gambling addictets.
-
I dont care who you are. I dont care what you have to say. I dont care about your opinions.
-
The chase is too absuable. You can just look down and don't start the chase.
-
The point of no mither is to be the target. Yo uare the juicy offering to the killer and he can't slug you because you can pick up yourself.
So you want to be tunneled. Starting full health misses this point entirely.
point 5 is kinda dumb, big nope on that
endurance... not 4 secs, maybe 2
I would like sth like a basekit WGLF. No Matter what you get +100% after the game ends. I mean you wasted a perk slot for staying injured the whole game and beeing the favorite of the killer so?
And maybe 100% reduced grunts of pain
-
Upvote you receive. Good idea.
-
how about bringing solo at the same level as a swf could possibly be and then change the whole game around that?
Instead of "removing" sth that would pretty much kill the game.
You know what. Apply as a dev and do that, remove swf. I wouldnt have a problem with this game dying.

The difference between Head On and Smash Hit is that Smash Hit has limited uses as there are so many pallets on a map and it only works on pallets that haven't been thrown down already.
headon requires you to give up distance and gettingit the same distance back you gave up to locker stun him.
Smash Hit does not. You don't give up distance, you try to time the pallet drop correctly like you do with a Head On stun.
In fact you get 4 second stun which is insane. I never wouldve believed someone sayin there would be an exhaustion perk except adrenaline that gives you more than a 4 seconds sprint boost. And you also stun the killer, that makes it even crazier because the killer doesn't make any distance he just stands still and can't move for 2 seconds.
-
Not 2k pallets, more likely God Pallet heaven
You can call me busted but I feel like the devs do it on purpose? From my individual perspective. Like one survivor sided af map and one killer sided af map.
Once everyone complained about blood lodge? got nerfed - ormond came into the game
Once everyone complained about ormond beeing busted? got nerfed - the game got buffed
this is a process about 4.5 years now
Dont ask me but seriously? I like the idea of having one heavvy killer/survivor sided map. Keeps the things interesting. Feels great if you as the opponent and not that bad if you lose bc you know this map is somethin
-
Back then when it was released I wouldve said that if you stun a killer and have a3 sek Sprint Burst after that, it would be a bit abuseable. Since Smash Hit idk.
-
I can only tell from my perspective: it's a big F you. Positive or negative, depends but it's just a big: FU - I hope you feel salty.
-
Because it takes so long I'm pretty sure the Coldwind Farm. Haddonfield after that. They renewed their lisence lately so they most likely just started updating the map.
-
Detectives Hunch Inner Strenght Kindred Repressed Alliance
-
So wait
you think matching me, 7k hrs with a 4k hrs killer and 3 between 40 and 400hrs survivors is fun? You want me, everyone to get matched that wrong? Just because you think people would get less salty about their straight not-smart teammates anymore?
You know that back in 2k16/17 bad teammates werent a thing right? And just since multiple matchmaking and gameplay changes it became worse and even more worse?
And you have the balls sayin that's ok? Are you serious? Do you even know how many players, especially veterans and core members hate this game because of that?
Sorry man but you can close your damn mouth, when Dead by Daylight needs SOMETHING, of all the little babu issues you have, Matchmaking is the biggest one - by miles.
And I don't care if MMR is not perfect, everything is better than what we have or have not now. Now it's just a get matched with everyone and I don 't want to get matched with al lthe annoying noobs at red ranks, I hate them.
So MMR better kicks in and matches me with people so that I have a chance to escape a game.
And Just for the record.
MMR doesn't mean you getc matched with highends. It means That you have an overall fair match. You know what's not fair? Matching me with 3 100hrs urban evading at the edge of the map experts that are scared af against a killer who's experienced as I am. You know what's fine? matching me with 3 500hrs people and a 500 hrs killer. So that way there is a chance because the killer isn't oppressive af for my teammates.
MMR doesn't mean 4 top survivors and one noob killer. It means 4 survivors get matched with a killer who's not an high end sweatlord. Means, even if I get matched (once again) with 3 100hrs survivors. The killer will be at their skill level to compensate. So that there's a chance to get some of us out.
So please Mr. Eternal Yesterday, let the others carry on.

Yo guy with the game knowlodge of a young god.
Efficient isn't a team that does gens together, you knew that right?
Spreading out, 3 survivors doing 3 single gens are the real efficient ones. Running perks which actually changes the outcome of a game. Information perks, bail out of a deadly situation (BT, DS, UnB, Deliverence). Those.
Dude even vault build is better than prove, lol. If you get the pallet or the window you easily extend the chase by 10 seconds -> every time.
Prove safes like 8 seconds, if you both did the gen from 0 to 100. If not it's even less.
Oh and, fun fact if you missed sth, Med Kits are the strongest items imo.
Oh and another fun fact, did I miss sth or are 10 thousands of regression and slow down perks the meta since years? And you get mad for a perk where survivor can do a gen slightly faster? Seriously? Those are your priorities? Man you have to gain way more experience my friend and improve your skills.
And I'm sure you're god but still you can improve your skills to entity level.
-
It still has this effect?
Same with BT. It's definetely a nerf to the prior BT but it still has its "He has BT, I'm not going for him" effect.Same with DS. You still we like "There's an obsession, he probably has DS now, I'm better if I'm going for the other guy."
The difference to now is just "Oh there is this guy again, he is on a gen/fullife so I'm just gonna go for him, DS isn't a thing anymore.
So no one will be afraid for 2 hours DS anymore. It caused awkward situations were you wasn't sure if his DS is already out or not, now you just can tell.
But it dit not lost its passive anti tunneling effect. The only way it would get lost is when no one wants to run it anymore but that's not on the perk.
-
Ah okay, was hyped about it. Thanks guys. Excited to hear some news about it.
-
Once you used the Endurance Status Effect and successfully ignored a hit that wouldve put you into the dying state from injured, the next time you are fully healed the Killer can see your aura from all over the map as as he's 16 meters away from you.
Once you get downed after successfully using Mettle of Men, it deactivates. The Killer can't read your aura anymore and you can try to activate it again.
This is the price for ignoring hits. You can play around that, if you have the options to, either a) just stay injured or b) heal yourself 99% and fully heal once you get in a chase.
If you ask me if I could change all those flashlight savers wannabes to sabo/MoM safers. Works way better
-
I've got no problems.

I used For The People and got it in one game

thank you friend

If you wanna higher your escape rate I would recommend Wake Up. I like running it especially on solo q days where your team is almost non existing.
You just wait at one of the exits and once the killer kicked it you can analyse the situation and rather a) just open it very quickly or b) do the first 15-20% right before the first red light turns on and wait until the killer leaves to do the rest.
Works in 9/10 times.
Even against a bubba on midwich. Choose the right exit, prepare the exit and finish it at the perfect time.
The killer has by default the main advantage when it comes to the hatchgame. It makes sense because he already won the game, everything you should have at this point is a very slight chance to bail out (and you have).
The only thing that's weird is that the hatch becomes visible even if multiple survivors are alive.
It shouldnt. If you are the last survivor or when all 5 gens got done it should become visible. Because either it's a typical hatch scenario were you are the last survivor and you shouldve a chance to make a bail out aka the intention of the hatch. Or you did at least your objective and it doesn't matter if you make it through the exit or through the hatch. And you kinda deserve it.
This would also fiy some frustrations with the key because it feels not that great if you, as a killer, could lets say kill one guy at 1 gen left. Like you worked very hard and it was extremely close but you were able to turn the game around into your favor. But then all 3 just escape through the hatch.
-
Trapper with base kit Iri Stone? This isn't a slight buff, it's huge. Not that this addon needs tons of teamplay, which solo q'ers almost never have, it just makes Trapper brain dead. You just place it at some pallets and windows and don't have to worry ever again. My last TRapper game was like 2 weeks ago and when I saw the survivors in the lobby I just equipped it because I felt like they're gonna f me up. I got Ormoned and thank god I had this item. They disarmed my trappes the whole game over and over again, wasting so much time.
But what else should they do? Finding the 3 unsafes pallets in the game? Just die by running into them? It's not fun, it's frustrating. You leave almost no counterplay it and the counterplay it has consumes tons of teamplay, ressources, skill and a overall very good coordination of the team.
So no that's not a thing. I would rather discuss a nerf to this addon than making it base kit. If the Trapper needs somthing it's mobility. More traps on his bag by default. Trapps not being in the middle of nowhere 3 realms further.
The point is. There is no easy fix. And the dev team is already always looking into changes. You have to remember that they're also fixing tons of bugs (memes beside), new content every 3 months, map updates, map changes, perk changes, events and killer changes. The recent one was Blight. Before Blight it was Clown. The next one will be Huntress or Freddy.
-
Nope, there is no way it does.
-
Holy balls, I have to change my username now. BRB
-
Idk if that's still a thing but couldnt you just buy items/addons/offerings you actually want? Not like on pc where it's random. Not sur eif that was a thing but if, that's another point. Especially as survivor you have like what?`Hundreds over hundreds over hundreds of addons/items/offerings? And we all know that you almost never get what you want. Not even of you spend like 1M bps.
Yea, I agree with you.But at least the maps look prettier now? I mean no one asked for that but it's better than nothing, I guess.

He's perfect as he is.
And on the list of things that needs to be changed, Myers is at the bottom of that list.

It seems like they just edited it out and didnt mentioned it at all that it was removed. I hate if people are doing this and act like "There was never XYZ, you're just crazy"
Maybe calm down a bit? I didn't say anything of the sort. I asked someone who knows more about this stuff than I do and repeated what they had told me, that's all. If you'd scrolled down just two comments, you'd see that someone had already quoted Peanits. One after that, I acknowledge that Peanits said that.
I like information perks, theyre insanely strong in dbd and increasing the range by 16 meters? Sign me in, dude.
I like information perks too (hell, I used Dark Sense pretty much since launch, long before it was buffed), but there is such a thing as "too strong".
Nah I wasn't mad at you. I was mad at the editors. They just deleted it and didnt mentioned it in the patch notes. There is literally a section with "changes from the ptb" means: what's different
But yea in the end Im kinda glad to hear that it's not from the table yet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svZUPU9rbmU&ab_channel=Nejumi@Orion said:
I asked someone more knowledgeable than I am and he said this never made it to the PTB to begin with, it was just something they thought about doing and ended up not doing. However, there's a very good reason why.
16 meters per instance of Open-Handed would mean that every survivor aura-reading perk would have its range increased by 64 meters if everyone had Open-Handed. To put that number into perspective, a 128 meters radius is map-wide. Now, Kindred 3 has a base range of 16 meters. With Open-Handed, that's 80 meters of always knowing exactly where the killer is when they hook someone.
TL;DR, Open-Handed with a 16-meter buff would be OP.
Theres a video that sows that it was a part of the PTB. Dude, literally, why should anyone discuss the open handed buff when there wasn't one.
There was and they made it so that it's 16m base kit but it also won't stack anymore so there was no 64 meters range. They also said sth like "your welcome, the guy that didnt wanted to run open handed but your swf forced you to do so"
It seems like they just edited it out and didnt mentioned it at all that it was removed. I hate if people are doing this and act like "There was never XYZ, you're just crazy"
Whatever, it seems like Peanits already stated that it will coming later. I loved this change. I like information perks, theyre insanely strong in dbd and increasing the range by 16 meters? Sign me in, dude.
I hope I'm gonna see it again when the next Mid Chapter makes it through the fog.
Thanks.

If this was a thing that would be the highest of all priorities to fix. A killer shouldn't earn a hook, he already earned the down wich can be hard enough. By good teamwork it's definitely possible to wiggle free. There are certain strats, perks and items that can help you. But you on your own shouldnt wiggle free just because. Yea why? You got killed, theres literally no reason to just get free.
Wiggling out is always bonded with teamplay. If that's not the case you shouldnt.
That thread btw made me play the grasp build (agi, IG, mad grit) and I just got a 2 man swf with Break out, Saboteur and decent sabo boxes. That was hilarious. I'm running it quite often especially on weird Killers where you just don't expect that. Best part of it is when people try to tank a hit multiple times and you still managed to get the survivor on the hook.
-
My survivor build is pretty much independent from the killer meta. One perk is inner strenght but that's not the point.
I recently like playing Repressed Alliance.
You have to use it with brain cells obviously but it's pretty good. Having the option to leave a gen for a good reason but keeping the progress by blocking it to counter Ruin.
Deny a Pop once you know the killer needed 13+ secs after hooking someone to make it to your Gen.
Also there is no other reason to see a white Gen aura as survivor than this perk do it's s kinda like a Come Here signal.
Beside the r20 solos out there. U can't do anything to carry those.
So yea. Recommendation. Try it. Like I said with brain cells.
-
And Killer never sweat huh? When I press rdy with a rank 20 immersed claudette and 2 other default skinned survivors they usually die all three within a minute with 5 Gens left. While the killer with ruin undying tries to 4man slug as fast and as brutal as possible.
What do I wanna say with that? I know it's hard to believe bc you probably only play survivor when there is a challenge or a daily, but that is not a survivor sided thing it's actually a mentality that appears in any game. So yea actually there are many r1 killer sweating their balls off against r20s.
-
I'm watching new players every time I press Ready and get loaded into the match.
As someone OG in this game I'm only watching streamers who know the issues. People with the same experience and time investment like me.
One aspect is it to complain about the matchmaking. Because usually the experienced players don't like to get matched with new players. So the least thing I will do is watching someone dive bombing hooks and crouching on the edge of the map, the same thing I'm experience probably most of the games I have. So no, thanks. It's awful enough to get matched with those.
-
Sth with Agitation Iron Grasp and Mad Grit.
Just too funny.
-
Dont forget forever freddy/builds with Dying Light/Thana/Sloppy/Pop/Surge and so on. But that's not the point.
Now I want you to think about what needs to be fixed first. From all these annoying builds and addons which of all needs to be fixed first? Is it really the healing build with Soul Guard? Or is it a Legion with the Pin, Thana, Dying, Sloppy/Surge, Pop or the Forever Freddy or all regression perks stacked at once? And after that. What about Gen rush builds? Build were you won't get kills at all. Not the meme/fun builds like you faced where you still can 4k because it's not very smart playing that way that hardcore like they did.
Besides certain Killers/Builds are you sure that a gen rush build shouldnt get fixed first?
Yea there are some things that are a in a grey zone but there are also many other things that are way more busted and oppressive. Things always getting changed. And I can promise you that once people figured out how strong all those healings perks (combined) are they get changed. That's for sure man. But until then how about just focusing on other things that are way more problematic.
That's my point. Just one by another and as long those things are not meta like DS/UB or Ruin/Undying let people enjoy their games. Times are changing and they enjoy some good times. And you still killed all 4 so I think that was a win for (maybe) all of you.
-
You mean these super exploitable BT into DS into BT into DS into BT into DS into BT into DS and Unbreakable? Yea no that was busted af. And and its highest not very fair or for some killer not even winnable. And the thing is, the community, the people who are playing this perk always called it a "anti tunnel perk". If you have time to heal or do gens. I'm not very sure and correct me if I am wrong. But if you have time for this, you're not getting actually tunneled, right? So if the Killer is still on you after you got unhooked, nothing has changed.
The abusable part of it got changed. It still has its passive effect. It still works the same. BUT if you can sit on gens, there is NO reason to protect you anymore.
Same as BT. It's there for you so you can leave a basement and find sth you can work with (pallets/windows) and once you got so far it shouldnt be active anymore. Because people love to abuse invincibility. When BT got released people spammed the hell out of it. The farming was real. So they made it more risky and you have to use it at the right time.

Go to sleep it's 10pm GMT+

Okay. I will discuss with you if you name me lets say 3 kilelr builds/addons/killer who are equal unfun to play against and not healthy. And if you can't show that much reflection I don't think your little point here will go anywhere but the shredder. Just want to check.
-
Yea it's usually a bad thing when 3 survivors trying to safe each other instead of 3 survivors doing a single gen. It's not about you were lucky and you had stbfl it's abpout survivors having an objective that's not gens. You can easily use those strats against them.
But like most people instead of feeling like "yea they have fun going for some crazy poop" everything you think is just "omg this is so toxic and unhealthy and omg devs please hold my accessorizes for me"
Would you feel better when the other 2 just did gens with Prove Thysself, Comodius Toolboxes, Streetwise, Build to Last, Adrenaline? The first guy running efficient to every pallet while the other 3 are seperated to 3 individual gens?
And you 4ked? It's not like they got away with that and even then we had to check the whole video to look at what did you wrong. I hate this mentality.
-
Why shouldnt it? If you have time to heal or do gens the Killer isn't going for you so there is no reason to have it still active.
Beside that. Idk how often I got situations were I hooked multiple survivoirs during a short amount of time and all of them had DS and BT and it was impossible to get the killer because of that. And I'm very happy that this will be gone.
Idk if you every played killer but this scenario is very frustrating. If you are a wraith and try to get one kill? All they have to do is to dive bomb hooks and once all 4 have DS active and unhook with BT you lost. They will escape no matter what...
So if you dont like getting tunneled this perk is still great, trust me. But using it to be a dick won't work that well anymore.
-
Object NERF? You mean massive buff. If that goes live how it is now it's gonna be the most meta perk.
Everytime the Killer see's my aura, I can see his. (Aka Nurses Calling, Addons, BBQ, Bitter Murmer,...)
+Every 30 seconds. Translated it means everytime the Killer gains some informations about me without me knowing about that, I do now. And I can see what he does with this information. SOn instead of "just the Killer knows" it's "we all know".
But I feel like the tier differences are the same like original Discordance were the first tier is better than the 3rd.
So I really like it. It changed from being a annoying perk to a usefull perk.
And DS is literally the same. It's just less silly. If you ask me I wouldve loved another change to it. like
DS becomes active for 40 seconds. If you get downed during that time the timer runs at half the speed (up to 80). But whatever.
-
I like informations. The more I know the less the killer can do to bait me into mistakes. it makes me more efficient and dangerous.
So I like Kindred(sometimes Bond if I'm in a mood for good chases) Detectives Hunch Inner Strenght and then Borrowed Time/Unbreakable
Unbreakable and BT are important perks to hurt good/very good killers because they play like whatever is tactical smart. And the better the more the killers tend to slug, so.
Beside that I like running Healing Build: Selfcare Botany Deperate and WGLF
FU-Build: Bond Pebble Selfcare Wake Up
Endgame Build: Wake Up Hope Adrenaline WGLF
Lately I like running WGLF more because even if you die or the game seems lost in the very beginning you can go for the 4 stacks and gain some bloodpoints. That's like an alternative win.
-
Yea that's not how it works my dear. That's like sayin Nurse isn't op even she is. If you're just not experienced and good enough using the full potential of her technical possibilities than it's only on you. I think there is no need to explain why an invisible killer is op.
The main issue isn't even her potential strenghts it's the gameplay against her. There is no. She's just where. Anywhere, you don't know anything but she do. Nurse, even the fact that she's with the Spirit the strongest killer in the game, you actually feel like you can do some mindgames. It's very different to play against her but there are some things you can try. And Spirit is just there. Invisible, or not no one knows.
But nice try. I think you should make a clip of a 4k as Burger King Myers and say that this addon combi needs to be changed. The value of this opinion is pretty much the same.
-
So I'm playing Killers like Clown, Legion, Pig because theyre the most fun for me and I can only speak for purple and red.
In 8/10 matches I can make 4k. 2/10 2k.
But the reasons I'm still playing this game is literally bc of livestreams. In general I disagree the policy of the devs to match bad people with good people instead of matching good people with other good people. If you think the MMR won't do exactly that you're wrong. They could do certain things but they wont.
They will never fix solo q because it could be smart to match good survivors and fix solo and then fixing killer tools and abilities to compensate the issues. Instead of, we just match 1hr gamer with 9k hours gamer with a 4k hrs killer and play around core issues.
Quit the game as long as you have fun dude. Once you realize certain things you start to hate this game on an other perspective.
-
if you can't fight them, you have to join them.
