  • As long as Killer get those little extra distance from Bloodlust 1 I'm fine with things like Dead Hard giving it back, even I hate it so much.

But once we got rid of rewards for Killer for playing poorly, those things? Have to go. Dead Hard, Sprint Burst, Balanced Landing, Lithe, Smash Hit. Idk what to do with those but.

I hate DH. Everytime I deserved the hit bc I did the correct play they just press a single button.. no mindgame, no correct play - just a button. And they practically win the chase. Makes me furious sometimes but like I said. I see Bloodlust and I'm like......fine.

  • The crow is better.

  • Oh that's interesting. Gonna level my Laurie again. Waiting until she gets MoM 1 and see how it works. I think the issue with that will be that most Killers are sth like Slinger, Blight, Spirit, Nurse and so on. So I think you have to be lucky.

I also think people will be like " thats so op" even if it's not bc you waste 2 perks and it won't work on any Killer. You also have to build it up (3 hit tanks, 4 heals)

But I think it's cool that people discovered it and there may be 1 or 2 games with some funny moments.

  • Yea it's so frustrating.

Mostly as a Killer I just have to play the game and the challenge gets done passively.

But most challenges for Survivors? Dude I'm losing it sometimes. You literally have to give up one game by another and do exactly what they want you to do. But doing so won't win you a game. And also when I play Survivor and I don't run a challenge, others do. You know. Those who do nothing but silly things that doesnt makes sense in order to make progress... Theyre doing the exact thing you did so you were also one of them.

    It's so not fun.

The 2nd rift already is a mess. I mean can't the developers do challenges for Survivors that can be done while also making progress like as a Killer? Why I have to do 50 gens? Why not "If any gen gets done" And not like "you have to do 80 charges x times" I mean only the fact that a gen got popped? Why can't they do it that way? Isn't it unrewwarding and rough enough for the main playerbase to finish gens?

"Stun or blind a Killer" E.v.e.r.y.b.o.d.y. is running a flashlight, the worst item in the game, the most unrewarding, game throwing, the riskiest item in this game that also can get completely eliminated by a perk. These games aren't fun? Why even bothering playing the game if all 3 are doing circles with beamers while the Killer is messing them up...

"unhook survivors" Why not "If a survivor got unhooked" So even if another teammate did it. And then yo uccrank up those numbers to like idk 16. Not too high because then again everybody would spam those unhooks...

Idk those Rift Challenges ruin the fun of the games and makes it completely senseless to play Survivor anymore. For the most time I played both pretty split in a half but lately I'm playing maybe 1-2 survivor games, got remembered why I hate it and switch to Killer for the rest of the games. Where challenges gets done within 15-30 minutes and not hours. Where I don't have to do wacky crap and just do them on my way. Just playing this game.

Only exceptions are those Plague challenges... Idk what they're thinking sometimes. On the one hand they do so much things to make this game casual and on the other hand they expect people to be competetive gods. I don't mind a competetive character, but then also design your game more around those factors.

  • Wait... I wonder how much BBQ get's used? How many people run it? Didn't the devs said a few days or weeks ago that if a perks gets used very often that they look into it? Just realized it.

  • both equally

kinda, i ignore all chats and just move on

survivors are maxed out at p3, killers are close to be maxed out

as survivor, every time i play killer and i feel like those teams are way better than my solo q ones, everytime i dont got what my killers got

not anymore, i stopped buying stuff except new rifts and whatever side of a new dlc has the better perks (IF at all), but not the whole dlc anymore

im playing this game for the stream. since i hit sth around 1.5k hrs in this game im playing this game if im streaming. now im at 7,2k hrs. im someone people call a veteran i guess and im sure you can imagine that i don't like this game anymore. I'm reading forums and memes on reddit but I'm barely playing this game. Everytime I skip through the bunch of perks nothing triggers my attention bc I did pretty much everything in this game and I'm bored.

I was hoping for the new Lucky Break making new builds and having a good time. But instead of changing it they just nerfed it... like..why? That's the mentality that pisses me off. Why changing at all. With old Lucky Break I qould have equipped Iron Will and Lightweight with sth else and have fun. Now this perk is just silly.

And I'm the type of player who don't gives a single poop about ingame chats. Players usually don't know the difference what's good or bad they're just entilted af. This counts for killer and survivor. From time to time I enable the chat to show people that I literally don't care about their feelings. You can do you what you want, there will always be people who are fine with that and people who are not. Just do whatever you want.

I like information perks as survivor because those are the best and people will never realize that. if you know what's going in dbd and you know how to use this information to your advantage you will most likely be strong af. But people like second chance perks idk why.

As a Killer I most likely exploit tunneling and camping by a classy Bubba or a spirit with 4 slow down perks. I like being everything that's not okay and having fun with that. It's pretty entertaining when survivor players complain about sth you did. But I'm also that guy that gives you the hatch if I'm not feeling miserable and the survivor also was either a) pretty good but the etam was bad or b) the survivor was that bad that I don 't get why I got matched with this guy.

Atm I gave up doing gens since a few weeks. Teams are that bad (only red ranks) that it's way too unfun to the main objective but I think that's the fault of the developers. I mean they did gens the worse of all. Zero bloodpoints, zero rewards, just a ridiculous long time for sth you probably can't even finish, so yea. I'm just memeing around with the stun build and don't give a f.

Im pretty much what you would call cold as ice in this game. Doesn't matter if I'm Killer or Survivor. No regrets, just playing. Always to my own advantage. Nothing else. I don't let you go or save you from the hook bc I'm a nice guy.

  • 2 reasons

1st) Ending the game so that no one can hold hostage

2nd) Survivors "sometimes" got matches where it's impossible to win, not because you're bad but because your team as a whole gets destroyed by the killer. The Hatch gives at least kind of a goal to you. Because if the Hatch wouldnt exist, why playing the game? If there is literally no chance to survive. The Hatch at leats gives you a little chance. And the Killer has tons of counterplay to this mechanic.

And please, don't start this "this is unfair" thingy. If we talk about base mechanics that literally supports you for playing pretty bad (and not about perks and stuff like that) we could start at Bloodlust and end with Entity Blocker. Somewhere in the middle we would came to that Killer can stalk Survivor profiles (pre-match, post match is ok), even this feature got removed at some point in the game history.

I agree if you say that more than one guy can escape the hatch through a key during the midgame isn't fair. But that could easily get fixed by making the hatch spawn only if there is one survivor left or all 5 gens are done. But nope, people want the Key do get nerfed. And there is no nerf that would prevent this situation no matter how hard you could make it.

But yea. Fact is, drugs and alcohol destroy brain cells.

  • You can't really sort out what's a win for a survivor. For some it's 4 stacks on WGLF.

You just shouldnt forget that if this guy is a solo survivor, the only thing that counts is what he did in this game. What did he do behind the scenes? And did he f you up a little bit?

If so then yea. You can't say "Oh your team lose" Because that's not in his hands. He could be the best survivor and do everything right, if some or all teammates does not, then you can't do anything about it.

So yea it matters what you call a win. If you kill all 4 you will usually call it a win, same with every individual Survivor.

If I run a killer for 4 minutes and 1 gen got done and we all die at the end, clearly I won. Not my fault that the others just watched.

  • I reached 1.184.000 bps and I'm doing the same things like before. I'm trying out some other things right now. If sth changes I'm gonna post it here.

  • Weird, couldnt pass a certain number under the same circumstances...

  • @HectorBrando said:

I think BP codes can go through the 1 million cap (not sure tho) so it may be that.

Could be very true, and just fair.

I did the same things as usual and it stopped at 1184000

  • Seems like that. Just ran Killer with Bloody Party and now I've got 1,1M points.

    That is

    neach...

  • Yesterday it was still working. I am hanging around the cap a few days now. It was a game were two people used a Bloody Party Streamer. Now Ive got 1016364. Thats so weird dude

  • I started playing Dbd in Nov 16. I remember one Dev Stream where a girl who looked like Claudette sang a song with a guitar. I was impressed and since then Claudette become my main. Sometimes I play someone different of course, but she's my main, my rootes. And she has the most items/the biggest inventory.

    Call it.. emotional reasons.

  • It's not about if that's fair or not, a killer should always be able to hook you. The struggle mechanic exists so that he can't hold you hostage.

Only very good teamplay and maybe misscalculation by the killer should result in a wiggle free. Yea I know it's annoying but we are talking about getting map pressure/hook or not and I think it's pretty obvious if it's 50/50 which side should be prefered, if you are being really honest.

  • Remember one. The most best matches I had were as Survivor. As Killer I feel very focused and stressed sometimes so I don't have "the time" to realize certain moments.

I had two teammates on Gas Heaven. They were awful. Couldn't even do nothing right. They just died and the Killer wasn't even doing much (red ranks btw). So 5 gens and one teammate was left. I think it was Billy, not sure. We both kept chasing him pretty well, pretty efficient. Efficient in a chase (in my opinion) using windows more often and pallets just to reset bloodlust otherwise the killer would down you. So if it's a Piggy and I looped her at shack full health, I would rather take the hit and leave the area. Won't throw good pallets that easy.

And we both did gens once we were out of chase. We looted chests to boost ourselfs, I had Inner Strenght so after a chase I most likely been able to heal myself.

The Killer wasn't bad. Knew how to fake and bait, but he was an open book for us.

I think the other guy got hooked once and I was sure that's it but I ran BT so we were able to escape this deadly situations.

We ended up doing all 5 gens, all totems, all chests, we did everything that was needed in order to survive this trial.

This was the most intense and the craziest match I've ever had. We 2vs1 this game successfully. Since then I realized that sometimes it's better to give up a teammate that literally puts you down as a whole team than it puts you up. When the time he's on the hook is more worth it than off the hook and the investment you did in order to get him off the hook.

Not saying you should do that everytime you feel like someone is useless, it's about those were it's that dangerous and that wasteful to safe someone, because you don't do a gen for the amount of time it needs to go there, unhook him and get him out there. But then the killer just snacks the guy and tunnel him to death bc he knows how bad and expensive this guy is for the opponent team.

I mean those guys. Where saving will cost the team the win. Pretty rare that I'm doing that, but I kept this lesson since then.

  • slightly more ms during the FF

pallet stuns only cancels FF and does not reset it anymore

missing a swing during FF only cancels FF and won't reset it anymore

canceling FF on your own won't reset it anymore

stun duration to 3 from 4

that's all, legion stays legion and it won't make him s tier, but at least it feels less frustrating to play him. I get that you should get punished for missplaying. But it's not like he's on of the top tier killers so he don't such a huge punishment for everything he could possibly do wrong.

And he's the same as Trickster. If you overbuff him he will be unhealthy af for the game and not fun at all. Btw, I feel like Trickster should get changed like Legion did. Change the way his darts are working, adjust some numbers, give him 4.6ms and we're all happy, because we got rid of an very unhealthy killer ability which leaves you with zero realistic counterplay.

  • Omg that's so cool. Just heard the gnom sound at the end of a survivor match and just went for it. And i was like.. Am I getting a charm now?? Because I remembered a killer having this charm.

This is so cool, I love it. Would have never expected to get surprised from dbd anymore. I dont care about the charm, I like the gimmig. The little easter egg during a match. Love it.

  • i thinnk we did a pretty good job so fart

  • If I wanna try a well thoughout perk/addon build and all survivors are running a counter item. Or sth like I play Hag and all 4 opponents running a flashlight. Big no for me doc.

  • Agreed. Not mainly because a Killer could tend to tunnel you even more since the BT change, it's more like those Basement safes won't work as good as they used to be anymore. Especially if the nearby basement pallet is gone or if the basement is within a basement.

Killer know that theres no pallet or that the basement takes forever to escape and just wait it out... It's just not good.

But you could also argue to add another way out to every basement.

    A change is needed.

  • Yea I wished BHVR would add more stuff to give survivor gamers more knowledge on how to improve/play well.

Something I noticed is that, and I don't know why, most people tend to play the Tutorial. So they learn to do gens. And I noticed that very low level/newish players will do the gens. Unlike high ranked/bit more experienced players. They despise doing those things. Additionally the higher the killer rank the better they are. They improve themselfs. So your teammates getting worse but the killers getting better.

And I don't get why. So something needs to be done. Small things like additional HUD information.

The amount of points needs a serious rework.

Cleansing a dull, which adds nothing to the game except more time for the opponent, gives you 1000 points. Stunning a Killer, which can become very hard to do on many Killers also rewards you with 1000 points. But the last one actually adds sth to the game to win as a team.

You get rewarded with 1250 points to do those motors for 80 extremely long seconds which feel like forever... And those are the main objective, like #########? And it's even worse that you get more points for doing them together. The game literally teaches you to play bad because doing gens separated is way more efficient for many reasons. And the game teels you to make 2secs unhooks, 14secs totems which almost give you the exact same amount of points like a 80s gen. This is just unreal.

People want points, people want emblems. But both tell you to give up and die. You can easily pipping by ignoring all gens and to the other stuff which is way easier and way more rewarding.

Doing gens is the worse. Takes forever. Even if you do ALL 5 on your own, you won't maximize the objective category. And there are plenty regression and slow down perks which makes the whole even more frustrating.

So there ya go. You can blame the developers. Because it is in fact their fault if they make doing a main objective that frustrating and not rewarding as it is now.

Oh and those "let go skillchecks". If I remember correctly they fixed it in 2k16 or maybe 2k17 idk. I lost counts on how often it counted as a failed skill check if you let go right when the "ding" sound appeared. How many games got won by the opponent just because of that?

So yea. They won't change that, because they more likely wanna change graphics and fairs and grass and fog and stuff like that. Good old priority list. Whatever that means.

  • 100? I want that every skill check rewards enough points to reach 600 again. Same thing with Cameraderie which gave you a total of like 1100 survival points.

I dont care about any other point category, but no one owns the right to remove any survival points...

  • On indoor maps it's always pretty difficuilt to find sth.

Midwich makes it even harder because there are no flashling lights as an indicator for a gen like on any other map.

You always have to run through the whole map, you can't just run up/downstairs which also results in a bad time efficiency.

Pallets are way more difficuilt to play. It's also not easy to know if there is a pallet left in the room, which may result in a faster death.

Also many killer got sth like a mobility tool so it's way easier for them to just go where they want. Killer also know were things are, like gens. They don't have to search for the most things in a match.

Information perks performing at their best on those kinds of maps.

Pallets on this map are very good designed tho. You have to outplay the killer (predict what he's going to do) in order to survive the loops. Whatever, some loops aren't longer than 2 tables with a pallet. Hint: You have to throw the pallet immediately. That way you can actually loop around it and you have to predict the right moment to vault over the pallet in order to survive the chase.

It's also very important to get a killer stun with those kinds of pallets if you plan to move on to another loop. Otherwise BL or the correct killer prediction will kill you.

Yea. So the fact that the most Killer have mobility and the fact that they know where things at makes them pretty efficient on this map. And if you struggle taking the right paths you will feel helpless and slow.

  • It got nerfed to a 4 second animation instead of a 3 second animation for a good reason.

  • "killers dont get hits where they shouldnt"

    you mean Bloodlust?

  • Bond , Diversion, Selfcare, Wake Up

Just think about it. Just let it happen. Enjoy.

  • detectives is way better, still.

Makes you doing the main objective first, it supports correct gameplay.

You see multiple totems and you can run directly to them without wasting any time.

You know if there is a critical 3/4 gen

+ it helps with inner strenght and doing so it increases your effency level

Always remember: The more information you got in a match, the stronger you can be in dbd. Informations are everything in dbd. The other important thing is to use this information wisely.

  • 5 year player here (can't believe it too)

Just playing once in a a while, most likely when people force me to do so.

    1) not always. Depends on when you play.

    2) same as 1)

    3) "Toxic" means if someone in sults you via game chats or ingame voice chats. Heavily insulting you, going personal and offend you with idk homophobic or rasist phrases. That's toxic. It's not toxic if someone just plays a game how it's designed. If you dont like how someone does that, okay. You dont like it. But this guy likes it. And that's not toxic. You're just 2 different kinds of humans, apparently.

    4) True. It gets worse. But you could imagine that someone who's playing this game for about 4 years that this guy is like aware opf that and just playing the game like he wants to. 4 years and you still care about that? You still feel hurt if people say you played wrong? Dude those people don't know what they're talking about most of the time. People complain if you play fair and nice, they complain if you do everything they wanted, they complain if you did not. People think they're doing everything right but YOU were bad and had no clue what ya doing. What ever they say in the aftergame chat, it doesn't matter. If it's good or bad. if it's good, good. If it's bad, whatever?

    5) ... That this THE issue in this game that botheres you? Not certain killer, or perks, or mechanics? Matchmaking? The grind? The new player experiences? That's the thing that kills it for you? Why do I even wonder. You thinking this community is the most toxic one. Like I said, people think they know it better, but they actually don't.

    6) Servers are fine, that's called a "Bug". Just because no role get's favored anymore, doesn't mean servers are garbage. If the survivor ping is better than yours it be like that. I played my first games yesterday after some weeks and I got some grabs, like expected. So maybe your internet is just really bad and you get treated that way. And if you feel like telling me lies like "but my internet is the best" yea sorry. My internet is good enough for a game like dbd and a FHD stream at the same time. And I never have issues with those things.

Dead Hard: Yea it was designed when p2p was a thing. So it's obv. outdated. But the devs already confirmed changes to it. Hopefully a complete rework. I want Bloodlust to be gone and if we make perks like Dh actually working or even if we just keep perks like that we won't get rid of Bloodlust ever.

    7) Killer/Perks gets changed every midchapter patch, I thought you were playing since 4 years now? You could imagine how things are working. And if so, you should know way better. Why? Devs becoming faster. Patches becoming bigger. 4 years ago? Things took forever and patches were very small. And 90% of the patches were bugfixes you didnt even know they existed.

I'm not sure if you're a core member since 4 years. And I agree that this game has its issues. But you're a bit off the right way, just sayin.

  • It is supposed to be survivor sided.

That's a fact it has to be that way. Wouldnt make any sense if Survivors couldnt escape by playing as a team and playing very good. No one would play Survivor if there was no chance of survivor except the Killer is high end dog poo.

The rest is not very easy to explain. There are so many random aspects and different circumstances that I had to write a novel just to clarify if this game is k/s sided.

To keep it simple: It's mostly killer sided. But once survivor play well and play as a team, some of them will win and this HAS TO be like that.

That's not sth that needs to be fixed, that's sth that needs to be kept.

  • you cant make this perk good. Increasing the aura reading range wouldnt do that much, but if you increase the range way too much it can become a bit too strong if you combine it with other perks like break out, saboteur and what ever. So ye

I mean this perk isn't really about wiggling free it's more like making you a hard time.

So I would like to see a 100% increase of the wiggle effects.

Every 4 seconds you receive a skill check (DS sized). Hitting it will make the killer having the stun animation.

He's not stunned obv, but he has this camera movement up and down.

Just an idea. Definetely not the best but at least you would feel sth on both ends. And maybe it actually would increase the time the killer needs to hook you. Which is always good. Everytime a Killer has someone in his grasp I'm hoping that it takes a while.

But yea. We could also get rit of it affecting the grasp and instead doing sth completely different.

  • dont play it brother, thank me later.

  • This term "The Killer" like.. There are many people just playing the game and switching between both roles.

I can tell you that it feels really bad if you >>outplay<< your opponent but he just uses DH and survives bc of the extra distance.

Then you won't down them, means no hook/or slug, means no pressure, means people do gens, means you're losing. And why? Not bc you got juked, or bc you played bad. It's bc they pressed E every single time in every single chase and every time your hit got denied.

Yea other exhaustions do the same, in a different way. But DH feels especially bad.

But I'm always sayin: unless bloodlust (tier 1 mainly) is a thing that gives Killer the little extra distance and little extra speed(and therefore range) during the lunge I don't mind it.

Once BL is gone, some exhaustion perks needs to get changed. There is no other way around it.

  • @Miralis said:

I started playing dead by daylight when chapter 10 release back in 2018. I recently found some gameclips from 2018 and realised that the changes that these people are whining about were honestly needed. This game isnt dying, its being brought back to life. Dead by Daylight is headed in a very good direction wheither people like it or not.

This is an ongoing thing since 2k16. Every time exhaustion got nerfed, flashlights, add-ons, items, pallets everyone was losing their mind. Nowadays you are like: yea that was busted af.

But sometimes they change sth that you miss and what could've kept in the game. Like sabojuking

  • Dude, just bc a random in the internet said this it don't has to be like that.

Beside that, C Tier means 'barely gets a 1K against a efficient team"

And I'm sorry, that's not true. A good Billy can be very oppressive and stressful in a chase and will punish you for muss playing. Unlike Bubba, Billy is able to catch you before you make it to the pallet/window. Great mobility too.

We can discuss about A or B tier. But it's more likely A. A good Billy will chainsaw through the casuals and can absolutely manage a 2K against an efficient team.

Just bc most of the people can't play him doesn't makes him bad. Same like Nurse. Just bc most players can't play her does not mean she's weak.

I agree that some add-ons could get changed. And I don't mean that cool down add-ons or charge time add-ons should be a thing.

I also agree that his animations should receive a massive update. They're awkward.

The overheat pretends spam and punishes you for holding it like 10 minutes. That's makes it more difficult being good as Billy but not impossible.

So whatever Otz or who cares who, says. He's is still like you and like me a random from the internet. And just bc he said this doesn't mean it be like that.

Why? Bc He can't be a Main of every killer. He plays them a few times and then anylizes things. And he watches other Killer Specific Mains to get an answer and it seems like he couldn't found one.

If he starts playing Billy consistently, trying to use everything a Billy can do and what so ever, I wouldn't be surprised if he changes his mind.

  • You are able to hide between or underneath small gaps you wouldn't normally fit.

Your breathing, grunts of pain and blood pools are hidden for the duration.

    Activating it by charging.

    Maximum duration time.

    Still hitable

  • Wouldn't fit to his lore and would also be a bit too strong.

Giving him infinite stalk could fit

Or more duration time with each EW3 instead. Could also fit with his lore and game play wise it would be OK.

But if we do that, piece of tombstone needs to get changed too. Way too abuseable.

  • Why should anyone do this? Bc of flashlights?

It's THE worst item in the game. Making survivors running around, being literally non existing and even if the killer picks survivor up the most likely won't get the safe bc of the massive amount of counterplay to it.

So why? I'm running Franklins if all 4 survivors use an item like a medkit or a toolbox. Bc they can get out of hand but flashlights?

    Dude. Don't be silly.

  • Less survivors running it.

That's the reason I recently started running it again and it's true. I use it like twice as much as usual.

  • @Micheal said:

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

says more thany any word could possibly do.

  • Something that actually fixes the grind and not only the inflation?

    No way, I stopped believing.

  • After 7100 hrs: This happened to me quiet often. You did game deciding things and even whenthe Killer didnt camped, or had noed, or oneshot they just ran out. Games where I did 5 gens or most gens, many unhooks and silly long chases. Games where "carrying" gets a new definition.

So you can go the hard way and keep going. Being a good human in a videogame- But I'll promise you, either you'll quit the game or you start not carring anymore and instead to everything that's fun for you

My number rule: I have a chance to leave? I'll leave.

The passive effect of that is that if the others just leave you behind, you start to care way less than before. Because you would do the exact same.

So yea, have fun having games being like that. Won't be the last one

  • I get what you mean. I like running Kindred because it's very good. I really like the information about the killer.

One guy said "Uhh, but I dont wanna see the guy selfcaring in the corner"

if you are on the hook, you will see him no matter what. If not, Kindred tells you that if no ones goes for the unhook YOU should do it. Thats the point.

Beside the fact that you can see what the Killer is doing and adjust your position to have an advantage and other small things like map awarness (sth that only a good Killer has).

It's the fact to see if someone is ALREADY sprinting to the hook so that YOU can stay there, be efficient and do a gen. Or if no one goes for the unhook or both Survivors are deactivated by the Killer, you have to go.

And you see where exactly your teammates are and maybe the Killer too. That gives you the chance to position yourself perfect.

Kindred is a very good perk and very impactful. But if you have those hardcore noobs who despites to do anything productive it really doesn't matter what perks you run. No DS, BT, Unbreakable - Nothing is enough to win a game with those.

But all I can tell is that the quality of the games and the chances that the game will go well are higher with Kindred. It's all about information and how to position yourself perfect = efficiency. That's my personal experience.

Doesn't mean I don't run other things. Atm I enjoy healing build and WGLF. Just to relax and don't give a F about escaping or not.

  • How about playing a game

Once you get unhooked you monitor the hook

    if it respawns you're fine

if not, you post a bug report

would be even betetr if you record that

    How about that huh

If no one knows, you have to earn the knowledge and spread it

  • Yea what a goofy Bubba. he should be in the corner where the chest can usually spawn. Those are them rules... This guy is not a man of culture.

  • Awesome with windows of opportunities as well. You are now able to plan out your chase extremely well. Was in a jungle gym at Rotten Fields and I was able to see the shack pallet. Easy decision making. If not I wouldve ran in another direction.

  • I understand your argumen ts.

    Infact

    What does an exhaustion perk?

It allows you, under certain conditions, to gain extra distance during a chance.

    What does SB do?

Even if you are very close as a killer, the Survivor is able to activate it at every moment to avoid you and make it to another pallet.

    What does BL do?

The Survivor can bait you into chasing him just to jump of a great height to gain enough distance to make it to the next pallet or window.

    What does Lithe do?

Whenever a Survivor wants to he can vault something to gain some extra distance to make it to another pallet or window.

    What does Dead Hard do?

Whenever a Survivor feels like not making it to the (mentioned) pallet or window, he can press a button to get the distance to make it to the pallet or window.

    What's the point?

Most exhaustion perks does the exact same as Dead Hard. It's more likely that they do it during the beginning at a chase, not at the very end like Dead Hard.

So you have no arguments why Dead Hard is stronger than any other perks. Heck. There a plenty arguments why it's even worse.

The only difference between DH and most other exhaustion perks? DH denies the hit at the very end. You had a full chase and are able to end it and NOW Dead Hard wants the extra distance.

The other perks does the opposite. At the very beginning of a chase they want their extra distance so you feel more like "whatever".

If it happens at the end of a long chase it feels more punishing.

    >>>All the exhaustion perks does the exact same. <<<<

Dead Hard is very risky and very high end.

But it does nothing other exhaustion perks already do. So it's not op. It's just not fun to go against.

My opinion? Since Bloodlust is a thing, I think it's fair. You get some distance just for free. For the most exhaustion perks you have to do something, at least.

So until BL exists I don't mind. And still, I know some other perks (On the killers end) that are pretty annoying and way to punishing. And they also need some tweaks.

So. People deal with Bloodlust making game changing decisions (and yea, every centimeter counts) and the opponents have to deal with exhaustion perks making game changing decisions. Just fair.

  • So you are playing for years?

So then I tell ya from veteran to veteran, dbd back in the days was way more toxic than now. That's why we had a codex. But the devs took care about their things and today we are all laughing at the rulebooks.

I tell you what really changed and idk who (finally) spoke it out but dbd isn't toxic. Dbd isn't competetive. The dbd community is entilted af.

Don't have to add anything to that.

You guys should learn what toxicity really means. And even I'm for all it, for some spicy talk, I can't even remember when the last person went offensive against me with homophobic, racist or other personal attacks. That's what toxicity ist. Going personal, insulting someone personally at a very high level where it's usually not legal in most countries.

Toxic isn't "Omg I dont like how you play/things work/things are designed it's so toxic" No my friend. That's called being entilted.
