I remember the times where at 2am (GMT+) there were only between 4k-7k people playing this game and you used to face the same 4 guys over and over again. Easier times, definetely.
-
completition, boredom
-
As long as Bloodlust gives this small little extra distance as well, DH stays as it is.
And you're right, I really and truly hate this perk. But I get why exhaustables like DH are a thing.
-
Yea I wished they would made the challenges passive. Like most Killer tasks are things you already do by default.
Like "do totems/cleanse a hex" or "finish a gen/ get gens done as a team" "get chased/use objects during a chase"
And not "360 a Killer while he has Oblivious status effect while you are Exposed after 30 secs of stunning him with a pallet you lifted with Any Means Necessary without getting downed after 10 seconds"
-
Nah. Should work on every hook state that's all.
-
Children prefer to polish their ego's. Trying to make you silly while also trying to sell themselfs as very old (veterans) dbd pro gamers.
people between 20-30 are way more entilted. And here you go.
-
So this gamer is mad because he tried m1ing with a 4.4 Killer? Which are not designed to m1 and instead use their ability to win?
Not entilted at all.
-
+1 on my end.

Tinkerer: Prevent gens from gettin done
Cruel Limits: Debuff Survivors for getting a gen done
I know for what you're aiming for but wasting a perkslot just to know where a gen is about getting finished so you can maybe cut down chases by Cruel Limits? And still, I don't have to tell you why CL is just bad...
-
Yea I already checked it but it's not in the ingame description. And I also run those boxes a few months ago and there was no efficiency debuff, but now there is?
I always read the full patch notes and never read sth like that. And I also don't understand why this should be thing.
-
Okay.
What about Borrowed Time?
Make a video where a Survivor DS'es you and show how far he get's and after that you do the same after BT ran out or after your attack cooldown, how far the survivor gets.
Or what about Second Wind? What if, like you said, Survivors body block enough that the unhooked get's automatically healed by Second Wind?
What about Killer perks? NOED? Rancor? Dozens of Slowdown/Regression perks? What about certain Killer abilities? Spirit ones?
You are literally talking about making the game way more unfun to play as it already is after a small amount of hours. Sorry but I can't take you for real.
-
And now imagine the devs won't removing perk tiers after 5 years the game is being out. Not reworking the shrine after 4 1/2 years it's being out.
We are at the exact same point where the devs announced Legacy and a grind nerf after Legacy got released.
But I think it's even worse than that. But it's like you're talking with a wall.
-
Dead Hard : 0.5 sec
Killer Lunge: 1 sec
-
Something around 50 seconds maybe 60. 70-80 if it is a experienced Survivor or a strong tial.
-
fast blinds. just enjoyed the feel of it. Sadly it was a bit too strong and got abused.
-
It's a classic. It's a tribut to the orignal movies.*
If you meet a Insidious basement camping Agitation/Iron Grasp Bbba this guy most likely isn't mad, he just lives the meme.
Oh and please. As long those "Bubbas" don't insult you in post game chats those people aren't toxic, those people just did sth you don't like. And that's not toxic. Thanks.
-
Since all the changes it got and since there are other perks doing similar things while those are working for each hook I think it would be just fair.
So yea, sign me in for this change
-
I started playing this game back in 2016 and around december i started to play a bit more Killer. When I read this perk I was 100&% sure you become invisible. I remember me playing Hag on Haddonfield. I was hiding in a corner next to a gen and a Nea was starring at me and it took live 2-3 minutes for me to think about "Am I.. invisible?"
So I googled my way to find some answers and it was kinda embarassing. But yea, I was sure I was invisible. But I'm also very sure that the description of the perk was different at this time.
-
Would make it legit. Not like everyone would use this perk but you at least you would see it a bit more often. I would give it y try. Coll idea.
-
By the time you can recall him he should just break the neck of survivors so they instandly die.
-
I don't care about your reasons but I agree. I see a peak. Now it depends on their decisions. Do we keep going release one chapter by another with one unhealthy new ability by another, will we never fix maps? Will we never fix unhealthy addons, items, perks?
Will dbd be forever grindy af? Will this game stay new player unfriendly?
If so then yea. This game obv won't die but, you know.
-
make camping with victor impossible
all addons that buffs victor should do sth completely different, he shouldnt be faster or have less cooldown.
-
so
nothing has changed yet?
-
I wouldve just killed them all. Just get me to the next game
-
"edit: barely get one 1 kill"
Devs: 1 kill is balanced
"Edit: barely get -1 kills"
"Devs: Only exist as a killer"
"edit 3: my killer got killed"
-
I would be happy if Killer abilities had real counterplay instead of boring (and also as a killer>) unfun "split up and do gens separated at any free time".
It's not fun if there is nothing you can do right in order to outplay a Killer. It's just "yea it's XYZ and I can't do anything bc if he does XYZ I'll just die no matter what except he's not good at it"
If Killer without abilities were fun I wouldn't cleanse against a Plague since release. Because this becomes pretty unfun over time.
-
beside certain perks?
Analyzing crows, increasing the area I check out, checking lockers by doing so, checking typical hiding spots (bushes on dead dawg) the basement or other typical locations. increasing headset volume to track enemies by sound.
it's helpful to have an good amount of solo survivor experience. your own exp or your exp by teammates.
oh but once i found them I lettem bleed out. justice, you understand. just fair.
-
Man I keep it short. You handled this game mode idea like a killer ability or a perk.
Don't like it at all. Quick Play yes. Your vision of that, no.
-
So you're 4 years on this game? And that's all you have?
Cya in 4 years.
-
I like how people tend to always show the one side of light.
You show how strong survivors can perform against certain killer on certain maps.
But you didnt show me the opposite site? Should I really Idk search for some KIll Streaks as Oni with an op build on shelter woods? or spirit? or a good nurse?
And what comes after that?
Sorry but as long people only focus on one side nand refuse to show both sides I can't take you for real.
-
Okay, tell me why Bloodlust is still a thing?
And once you did, that's the reason why exhaustion perks like DH still exists and they will last until BL is gone.
Don't get me wrong, I truly hate this perk. But the survivors who are knowing how to use it correctly are just buying their distance back you just got passively for doing nothing except W'ing.
We all know it's busted like most exhaustables too. But as long as Killer also gets bonus distance for free there is no reason taking it away from survivors.
-
If people trying to teach you on how to play this game just tell them: 2016 is over, spread the message.
-
At a increasing rate.
But ay I'm so glad the community was pumped for buffing his unhealthy ability. Thank god.
-
Yea but do you trust the design team anymore?
Just look at the last 1.5 years, Every Killer has an unhealthy ability. The worst one is Trickster. Not the strongest, but unhealthy af.
If you want them to rework hag she will be sth worse, most likely.
-
bc theyre two different killer? What's next? Freddy is a better Clown? A Huntress is a better Slinger? A Hag is a better Trapper? A Demo has a better Dash than the Pig and also map mobility like a Wraith while completely silent? But a Freddy has essential the same kit but he doesn't have to set it up like Demo? And Spirit has essential the same kit bc she can use ehr ability to have map mobility (kinda) but also a dash while she's completely invisible?
You miss the point.
Just for you
Wraith moves very fast around the map. You sneak on Survivors and use your power to clap them away.
Amanda tries to trick a Reversed Beartrap on your Head. While you're trying to survive the Trap she's goes further manipulating the game and other Survivors, that way you won't have enough time to make it to the endgame.
Two completely different ways to kill you. Wraith by sneaking up and bashing you and Amanda by putting a Trap on you and stealing important time to manipulate the game even more.
-
For The People
Repressed Alliance
Borrowed Time
Desperate Measures
if we can choose even more:
Spine Chill
Iron Will
Inner Strenght
Resilience
-
I'm gonna run it. Not for me, for you and all the others.
If people ask what's my sexuality I answer: I don't have one, because I don't care. I don't make any differences. if I like you, I do.
And I also know that I'm a good survivor so if someone chooses to focus on me? It will be most likely in everyones interest. And I also don't mind randoms trashtalking me.
-
Did you looked at the last Killer they released?
They all share an unhealthy abilitiy. Slinger, Pyramid, Blight, Twins, especially Trickster, (spirit, Hag)
Camping and tunneling is still way too strong. Bloodlust is still a thing. Map reworks didn't made them better. Still too many safe pallets but way too less pallets total. Huge deadzones, unnessecary breakable walls for whatever reason they have to be everywhere.
The Grind is a big mess, even removing all perk tiers would'nt be enough and they won't do that for, again, whatever reason.
Certain perks, addons aren't good for the overall game health.
Over a hundred perks are so bad that most people won't use them.
But ay we get another chapter, with plenty bugs and bad perks and another super unhealthy killer ability. How can I know? Because we're getting worse abilities over a year now, chapter by chapter.
Matchmaking is a mess.
And now last but not least.
We've got over 20 Killer and 25 Survivor. We've got almost 200 perks. To complete everything you need a big wallet and what,10k hours playtime?
We don't need new Killer, we need a big, a big big quality of live chapter, maybe 4 of them. Where we change everything that's unhealthy. Without going into detail bc that's way too much to discuss right now.
-
- no perk tiers anymore
- reduce prices in the bloodweb/or make them all the same price (rarity balances everything out, not the price)
- shrine rework (big shrine with all perks, different prices, categories and so on)
- every single rank up rewards bloodpoints (ex: 20-17 50k per rank, 16-13 100k per rank, 12-9 150k, 8-5 200k, 4-2 250k, R1 300k)
- log in bonus per week (shards)
I would do all the steps. Devs claim the game to be a casual game but its grind is like ridiculous. If you are a completionist and you want all perks on all p3 characters? You have to pay so much money and play this game way too much. People give up and new people come in. After some time they also give up and that way we have tons of rank 22s in the red rank section in a solo q game.
Reducing the grind from like 7k hours to sth like 1k hours would be way more interesting for players to stay and complete this game.
And this needs a SERIOUS rework and not a fix to the inflation.
-
Yea they need some tweaks like. I thought it would be enough having the Hag as a comfortable Camper but Twins? With the one you chase the guy on the other side of the map and with the other you camp the hook and pressure like all survivors.
Survivors running from A to B slow af and they just switch between themselfs. And Twins always slug. Don't get me wrong, slugging is pretty important to set objectives for survivors they can't just ignore. But Twins? I rather eat the 5 than anything else.
Idk what they need but they need sth. Sth like a cooldown, way higher punishment for missplaying. Sth that makes it impossible to camp. They also need to rework all addons that make Victor going faster, charging him faster and reducing his cooldowns.
You could also go crazy and say if one of both is near the hook it fills you with hear and activates the haste status effect. Once out of rage this effect stays for 5 seconds. Those are just ideas, I don't what to do with them.
I just agree that those two need slight changes for the overall health of the game. But in the order of priorities? At least not number 1. Top 10 probably.

And default locked at Ultra DBD is what console gets, with precious few setting options to play with...
Oh I know. If I'm not at home and bored I'm putting out my Nintendo Switch and play dbd from time to time. I know. I also respect console players for hitting every struggle-skill check. I wouldn't play on a console voluntarily.
-
Ok and why should a
trapper, nurse, hag, doctor, huntress, freddy, clown, spirit, goofy, oni, slinger, pyramid, blight, twins, trickster care about that?
They all have got an ability which allows them to counter looping where it's not nessecary that you're hidden as a killer.
And it's also heavily map depending how much of an advantage that would be.
And did you seen how miserable this looks? Wouldn't be surprised if this is unhealthy for your eyes.
This game is btw casual, not an E Sport.
And yea I also got filters (geforce experience) which make the game brighter and more enjoyable. Just a few days ago they didn't started with the game and I was like #########. I couldn't see anything on my screen. Sorry but default dbd is way too dark and again, not an e sport.
-
i reither play low tier killer with Enfury and pop+surge or bamboozle instead of surge (wraith most likely) or S tier killer like spirit with pop surge sloppy and stridor. I mean. She's annoying af to go against, 4 more annoying perks won't make it way more miserable.
Idk I like Surge and Pop. Rewarding for playing well, can't lose those perks, they stack on top of each other and Enfury is just funny to use especially when someone Dead Hards to a pallet which I can just ignore.
-
And your point is...?
I mean. I can mark this post and later on I'll share dozens of screenshots of red ranks being worse.
-
Easy to be good at and S Tier strong. Thats why I like to play her. Like how helpless survivors are, can't loop or sth like that
Hate playing against her literally bc of that.
-
it's okay that not every totem is right underneath the ground. Everyone wants the game casual. Those pictures just agree with that politics. You are aware of many many many players just playing once in a while/barely or being new-ish? they can't even survive games by default and you want very very strong hex perks to be that hidden that no one can finds it?
Oh and please, spare me with "all" the totem tracking perks where people have to play tons of hours and pay money for a perk like that or waste a whole perkslot just for the case and even then they're running through the whole map wasting all the time the killer needs.
There isn't just "yea but totems break right after the match started". Yea. And as often I have those kind of matches, I also have those matches where it lasts until I leave through the exits. Those spots are fine, if you don't like it run other, more consistent perks I guess? It's not like the games are impossible without totem perks.
-
Nah not opening exit gates. 99'ed exit gates and you just wanna open it to get the ######### out? Not fair.
Healing? Why? Healing in the basement or right under the hook before the killer gets back in time and going for you? Happens pretty often. Also, fine.
I appreciate your try to make it that BS that you never have to fear it anymore, but lets be real and keep it how it is, now.
-
Imagine being tired of being bottom score if you did all 5 gens on your own. And the objective category isn't even maxed out.
How do you feel about that?
-
reducing it.
But that requires alot so lets forget about that.
Gen speeds are fine, learn to play. No troll.
-
Won't work if you know how to react.
But I also noticed that if you straight look at the Survivor you wanna hit, even if there are multiple other survivors around the one Survivor you aim to hit, you can hit them now. Just yesterday. A guy tried to tank a hit (was tunneling) and in the past that shouldve worked out for him. But I tried really hard to aim for the other one and it worked. Hard to describe how it works but it did.
So that's cool. I like to neech things where you have to find out how to do certain things like fast vaults on very difficuilt windows.
