Thats what the perk does. While regressing, the generator is shown in white. When the regression is interuppted, it's aura changes to yellow, letting you know that generator has been touched and that there might be a survivor on it. If it goes from white to red the generator has regressed completely.
-
EAC won't pick up on perk icons being different, as long as you don't screw with the game itself. Buta fair bit of warning, if for whatever reason it does ban you for altering them, BHVR won't unban you.
-
I didn't realize I made another gen speed one. Remove the generator speed from Steady hands and maybe make it increase great skillcheck zone.
-
No. Just no. SWF is powerful enough to bully a killer when done right. Giving solo survivors that power is worse. SWF should be nerfed in some way.
-
Event items also seem to be rare till you get to like 35-40
-
@se05239 Understandable, but this is after said survivor has died, so it's only useful when the survivor with the perk dies.
-
...The hook already works like that. It's a channel, you can only be grabbed during the channel. Once it's full, killer can not grab.
-
Want to remove NOED? Get rid of Adrenaline and we wouldn't need NOED. That sounds fair, hmm? Or is only the killer allowed to be punished for running a deniable perk?
-
Tunnelling and camping are legit strategies, and are not bannable. Sometimes tunnelling is needed in order to quickly snowball the game, since the survivor has the advantage till someone dies. Camping is important in EGC because if you've done poorly you have to defend your catch, or risk coming out with nothing.
If you don't want people to tunnel/camp, Give killer's a shorter timer on EGC, and make gens take longer/hooks last shorter, so the killer has the freedom of moving away with a timer ticking that might help with pressure, and so he doesn't feel the need to immediately remove a player. Killers use these strategies because these strategies work most of the time, and help tip the game in their favor, or secure a much needed catch.

*Cries in Freddy as everyone uses Autodidact to kick themselves out of dream world in 5 seconds*
-
Because then it becomes the original DS, used to bully killers, only that now it takes a hook before you can trigger it.
-
@C3Tooth I feel this perk would be more based on those precious few seconds where another survivor has to focus on something else before they can save you.

@TrueKn1ghtmar3 I have pics on my PS4 when this stuff was still available. I was in front of a rock and I was completely invisible. I lost track of myself at one point. Also, you're correct. The upgrade to Unreal Engine did increase the colors and the physics. It's not something the Devs personally did, it's a product of the upgrade. Because of this, you got slightly better frame rate, nicer colors, better physics, enriched sounds and more. Personally, I play as Bill and Nea (Ninja clothes :D) but I use to main Claudette when I first started playing because of the almost invisibility that you got with her.
@AStupidMonkeyy I feel like my screenshot above was the one reason they realized they should fix it.
-
I have a sought of photo-negative version of this problem, where I keep getting Mother's Dwelling as anything but huntress, and with the gens so spread out its hard to patrol effectively.

Using 8 minutes on doing totems will get you killed too.
There's 4 of you for 5 totems. Just cleanse any you spot, and if you're feeling lucky look for them.
-
I think you're talking about the Wake Up perk being bugged.
-
In all honesty, ghostface is a true stalker killer. Unlike Myers, Pig or Wraith, his ability isn't meant to let you sneak right up on them, but get close and watch them. His job isn't to rush survivors, but watch then suddenly spring at them, downing them instantly.
-
while his ability was extended when he was slowed down, that was still a nerf. He moves slower, meaning he can't complete loops as fast and actually loses time on survivors, wherasthe faster, shorter FF allowed him to catch up quickly within the time lim
-
Nurse's calling is a must! His ablity to remove his terror radius means he can see survivors healing through walls and they have no idea without spine chill or OoO
-
While I know the system in place, lore wise, is because we're trying to entertain the entity as a killer, and thus boring plays give less results.
Doesn't mean it's not ######### tho, it punishes because you can instadown. Perhaps rather then scoring on hits, it should score on health states removed @Peanits ? MoM and BT count as health states though, so as to not cheese the killer just cause someone brought those perks.
Perk-related Mori's should automatically count as all remaining hooks left on that survivor, as well as a sacrifice, wheras offerings should only give 1 hooks worth and a kill.
-
I for one like it, it encourages the survivors to heal in order to stay stealthy, buying precious time for the killer.
-
I think grabbing need to be added back. Either that, or seperate unlocking and jumping in hatch, and give the killer priority over closing hatch.
-
OoO is one of the most OP perks in the game on paper, it's only problem is you need to know how to survive a chase before it becomes extremely effective.

It’s not even that the gens are still getting done as fast if not faster people now know that it’s faster to work on gens alone which has not been changed working on gens together has been slowed but not alone so in that case good survivors know solo on the gens get them faster and boom 3 gens in 2 minutes. Killers are either complacent with the bs they give us as a fix or they are just not bright enough to see this game of cloak and dagger.
I play Ghostface without Ruin, I can get pretty consistent 4ks.
-
Get closer, within Deadhard bait range, before lunging. If you lag just go straight.
-
Just sneak up behind them, then rush hatch from behind them. You'll catch them off guard and gain priority.
-
@ShamefulKing It can heal you from the dying state, but you have to activate it just at the right time, while healing but doing the going down animation
-
@NuclearBurrito Good to see other people use the fallacies too. And I know I did an ad-hominem, but he's never said anything good.. He's basically the village drunk; he says weird ######### and no-one pays attention
-
Add a new status effect "Marked by the Entity" and make it persist till healed.
-
I'm pretty sure that you have to take the hit while the killer is actively chasing someone else, if they switch targets to you (which happens if they see you and LoS is broken on the original survivor) then it doesn't count.
-
@SunderMun That's the thing, it doesn't provide pressure unless you actively stick near it, so it's useless most of the time.
-
@TragicSolitude in some cases it's understandable though. I had a 30 minute game once with 2 people left and 1 gen needing doing, but they were playing spirit and we couldn't stay on a gen long enough to do anything.. I spent most of that time looking for hatch, found it, got a key from a chest, and rescued the other survivor into the hatch
-
I like it, but this would have to be something close to frame perfect to balance it, and also makes a good killer scary because they can shear through defenses.
-
I for one like the visual feedback, though I'd rather that we'd get like a small blood splatter circle in the middle of the screen when we hit a huntress hatchet. I liked the stun VFX tho.
-
@Cable2486 how the hell did you figure out my Ghostface build?
-
I'd say it's because purple perks are powerful alone, like PGTW or Ruin, but green ones usually become powerful with synergies with other perks, like Spirit Fury + Enduring.
-
Remove the timer, and give it a slight numbers buff. Like adrenaline, it's a perk that only triggers at the end of the game, and means you're running 1 perk down most of the game.
-
@NuclearBurrito Just ignore Paladin, he's just here to argue. I've seen him in other threads arguing for the sake of it, and he doesn't listen to other people.
Anyway, No-one here's taking in the fact that a 2 man SWF can bully the killer if they're good at looping ,at the other one uses a syringe. Boom, 4 health state chase. At least MoM can't make that 5.
And yes, This example is from personal exprience.
-
Maybe make instaheals only useful to the survivor carrying the kit, and make the ultra rare heal 1 state, but allows you to use it in the dying stat
-
@Tsulan should be the opposite, break down SWF. An SWF that knows what they're doing is nigh OP. We don't need solo survivors being able to do this as well, otherwise it just becomes hell.
-
I'm with this guy. I tracked by sound mainly, since I'm used to being blinded. This update lets me track by nothing but sound when blind, allowing me to counter flashlights on pallets. Finally, I actually have an actual counter without wasting a perk
-
TBH I'd just be happy if we weren't punished for releasing the chainsaw, if they're not gonna let us juggle it like billy's
-
No. This game is meant to be a game where survivors have no information about the other survivors. Will they save you? Will they abandon you? Are they running adrenaline, or will this gen done pop the killer's NOED and doom my ally? This concept is already broken by SWF.
Killer, as the power role, might have a map of gens, though he can't see any perks except his own, and isn't shown his spawn sight, so he'd have to orientate himself.
-
Instaheals: "Okay, a minute of looping, time to ho-" instaheal "What the #########? I spent all that time chasing you and now have lost the game because everything I just did was undone in an instant, with no control from me, meaning I've lost all gen pressure and survivor pressure."
Moris: "I got hooked, then downed again. Killer is mori'ing me now because they want to end the game quickly, or need to snowball the game. They had to work to get me, through gyms and pallets (unless I was an idiot or they snuck up on me), and I either got killed by farming teammates or got another chance before I got moried."
Tell me, which is unfair? The instant heals which undoes a killer's work? Or the Mori which the killer has to meet a requirement for?
-
Ghostface gets genrushed because people spend too much time inchase. What people don't realize is that Ghostface is a mindgame master, only bested by Spirit. His ability removes his Terror Radius and The Stain. What does this mean? A survivor cannot anticipate youcoming around a corner, and in a lot of cases must assume which way you will go. This mindgame in and of itself can even force survivors out into the open if used correctly.
In chase, trigger Night Shroud. Even if they'll just look at you, that just means they're not looking at where they're going. They either remove your mindgames or risk running into a wall, or even you in some cases. However, do the exact opposite against someone with OoO, and mindgame normally. If you trigger it, then your terror radius is gone, and that means they have wallhacks on you. Do a quick swing if need be to disable NS.
Never rush a gen either, sneak up on it, even if it means different angles, with the only exception is an emergency need of pressure on that one gen
All in short, Ghostface has little gen pressure, but insane chase pressure if you're willing to utilize his power for mindgames, and not just stalking.
-
- It's better then having no chance without buying them
- It's a good way to see if you enjoy the killer at their base, so you know if you like their kit and think they are worth buying

Then it's farming, which is a no-no
-
Dying light, MYC, Nurses Calling, BBQ, tunnel your obsession into oblivion.
-
if you got 18k, I'd say that's a good job, since it's about average of survivors i meet, and what I get.
