@Tzeentchling9 No one is going to use Alert when Ghostface, who is NOT low tier and is used a decent amount of the time, will have undetectable. Pig isn't bad either. Alert is used so that you will know where NOT to go and be able to lose the killer. If you can't lose the killer 1/4 of the time(since there are 4/16 killers that will have this), why would you use it? It's just going to be replaced by something that's going to have the killer only players fussing. Also, need I remind you, most killers WANT survivors to have to hide. They want looping nerfed so that survivors will only be able to get away if they can hide from the killer. So what happens when survivors start losing stealthy perks AND looping is nerfed?
"Loser Face™ is not low tier"

There actually was entity eating nods before the bloodweb change. It just was starting eating later than nowadays.
Also, bps was existing back then aswell. Not only that, the rarity was lower (brown offering) so it was even cheaper to get them.
Also there was like a bp farming wraith (bot) in every 5th lobby which made it quite easy, I remember back then how pissed I was not to be able to play a normal game and having another farming bot killer
People have a wrong image of old prestiging. It wasn't that much harder than it is nowadays.
Amen.

As long as The Demogorgon has 115% movement speed, I’d say it’s a viable Killer.
And you think they'd let a "teleporting" killer have baseline movement speed? With their current design philosophy? Lol.

I assume you're talking about me. Yes, technically Looping is an exploit. I have this on a document saved for Copy/Paste to explain.
History lesson for you : Back before patch 1.4.0 Looping was nowhere near as powerful as it is today. In Patch 1.4.0 the developers re-sized the Survivors hit boxes to be smaller, in order to help Survivors not get hit out in the open so easy, and to help compensate for latency issues. This had an unintentional effect, as Survivors found out they could now hug objects much tighter than before. This, in turn, meant they could run around objects in tighter, and therefore, faster circles than Killers could. Before this, you could get MAYBE one Loop out of a Pallet. Instead of the usual 2-3 now, before having to drop it. Thus, Looping as it is known today was born. This, by all accounts, makes Looping an Exploit as it fits the definition of video game exploits.
See Link here -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_exploit
Survivors, still reeling from the loss of true Infinites, took to this like fish to water. The developers planned to fix it at first, but quickly decided to leave it in the game and try to balance around it due to pressure from their Survivor player base. The majority player base of Survivor Mains just couldn't win without having something that was blatantly game breaking to abuse. Most Survivors then told the biggest lie in the games history : "We want to be chased all game! That's whats fun!" In order to protect this new exploit. The developers caved, and have been struggling to re-balance the game for its inclusion ever since.
Killers were simply ill-equipped to deal with Looping and Stealth. This is why Killers now have a PLETHORA of aura reading perks, add ons, powers, and abilities. The developers gave the Survivors what they wanted, to be chased all game and let them have their loops. They are simply trying to give both sides what they want. Killers the power to be able to stand up to Looping, Survivors the game play they wanted. Though truth is, neither side is very happy.
In short : Killers are getting the balance they wanted (I say getting cause they still aren't there yet). However, not the game play they want.
Survivors are got the game play they wanted, but not the balance they want (as in being OP as hell).
Throughout the History of DBD the balance of the game has been nothing but the Survivors bunny hoping from one broken thing to abuse to the next. Infinites, Looping, Instant-Blind Flashlights, Pre-nerf Brand New Parts (The first nerf wasn't enough, and the second wasn't either. Only after the third and most recent nerf is BNP balanced), and finally Gen Rushing with Looping. Killers had only one truly game breaking exploit they abused the crap out of that lasted for any decent amount of time, and that was Machine Gun Build.
Even now, survivors are STILL abusing a plethora of things that break the game's balance. Most noteworthy being SWF on voice comms. Mostly paired with three things that have yet to be addressed from the OG that are broken as well when SWF teams have them at their disposal : Large amounts of Keys for early hatch, large amounts of Instant heal med kits, and rushing the crap out of the gens. This was exacerbated by the very LONG period of time where Survivors could D/C and not lose their items. Something they abused the CRAP out of to stock pile MASSIVE amounts of these items.
Killers have been pigeon holed into playing a very strict meta of Ruin and Aura Reading perks to deal with Looping and Gen Rushing, which even then still doesn't work very well.
Many games have taken exploits found by players and lets them stay, or balanced the game around the ability to do these exploits and it made the game more fun. The DBD Devs are simply trying to do the same, however they are failing pretty hard at it. The way the game is played out with certain mechanics with the Gens and hook system, Looping is still far too powerful.
I'm sure the developers will someday get the balance right, but I digress. Don't get so hung up on the definition and get upset. Looping is technically an exploit, however it's allowed. Just because it's allowed, doesn't change that it is what it is, an exploit.
A big part in the game breaking pallet-looping we have today, is played by the completely unnecessary pallet omegabuffs introduced in the dreaded patch 1.1.1.: both the time-window and the range for a pallet-stun were made absurdly generous -to the point that killers can be stunned through walls and around corners.

Leatherface can use his power during chase.

Billy also gets looped, I like to throw on duel speed add ons so that I can actually use my chainsaw at loops also his TR is pretty normal.
The Hillbilly has insane map pressure and, unlike Leatherkek, he can actually use his chainsaw during a chase.

Because he is more fun than billy imo.
You're saying that you have fun being a M1 killer with a big terror radius getting looped all game?

They’ve been steadily getting much better with killer design, making them fun and threatening. I’m confident it’ll be cool.

It was one of the core elements of Myers' original design: punishing survivors for grouping up and BMing him.
-
A new way to get rekt by pallet looping and bad map design in 4 minutes long matches sure looks appealing.
-
-
YESSS!! Can't wait to waste money on a new way to get rekt by pallet looping and bad map design in 4 minutes long matches!
-
Can we place here our bets on what the useless gimmick tied to a 60 seconds cooldown they'll slap on that thing and call it its power™ will be?
-
Hint: multi-stalk meant faster EW tier up.

You don't get it, do you?

Revert the pallet omega buffs introduced with the dreaded patch 1.1.1.

......that's it I guess.
Just saw someone say this in another thread and I know I shouldn't take half the people on here seriously but...... huh?
What.... exactly should survivors be doing? Running straight lines from pallet to pallet, slamming them and moving on? That MAY keep you alive for 2-3 gens if you're lucky but then everyone who gets chased after that is dying in 30 seconds or less.
Are we really throwing around the word "exploit" for people who don't run in straight lines?
Survivors can be totally blamed for its existence. They lobbied the devs for it and resisted every single time it had a whiff of nerf incoming. They are not neutral bystanders who can't be blamed for using whatever the game gives them to win, they had a hand in the game being steered in that direction.

Devs have confirmed that looping Isn’t an exploit. But I guess the eye of the biased sees what it wants.
It's an exploit that instead of being fixed was made into a core gameplay feature because there is a double-standard applied when weighing feedback based on whether it comes from survivors or killers.

@LapisInfernalis said:
@Acromio which nerfs? I do not recall any.
- removed the ability to be able to stalk multiple survivors at once
- reduced the movement speed on the vanity mirror
- reduced the point generation on the vanity mirror and the scratched mirror
- removed bloodlust from evil within 1
- added the vulnerable indicator for survivors when the shape goes into evil within 3
- reduced the ammount of bloodpoints the Shape gets in the deviousness category from stalking
- removed the Shape's hitbox while stalking
- rendered Save the best for last and Play with your food essentially useless
-
It's been nigh impossible to get since the Myers ubernerfs.

Well wasting that much of everyone's time is still a dick move.
Oh I forgot, it's only a dick move if a survivor wastes a killer's time.
The 3 gen strat isn't an exploit. Pallet looping is.
-
Because that would make her power pointless.

@HatCreature said:
BT actually DID get a buff, it used to not go down in a chase, NOW it doesn't go down in the Terror Radius.
If you buff this perk too much it becomes overpowered and unfair on the Killer side; to some that may not seem important but those kinds of people get slugged the entire game because they deserve it.
It already is extremely overpowered and unfair.
-
Yes, it needs to be reverted back to how it was originally.

Ah, I found your problem. You forgot to activate his power.
I did, but a survivor happened to lock his camera on a pixel of my cape and locked me out of my buggy terror radius suppressor for 30 seconds.
Seriously, teabagging is the only thing Loser Face™ is good for. Everything else, the Shape can do it far better.
-
Because he's a M1 killer with a big terror radius. That's why.

Unfortunately Legion will never be changed, they'd rather have them be another useless, loopable m1 killer than put thought into reworking them properly.
-
Yeah, the Shape's perks have always been useless gimmicks for meme builds. The only good perk he had, Save the best for last, was nerfed into the ground and made completely useless because survivors complained about not being able to farm their hooked teammates when versing a killer who was running it.
-
Are you seriously complaining about one of the worst tracking perks in the game?
-
Because he can be somewhat of a threat.

I love Ghostface <3 I got him to P3 since that is his stealthiest outfit...for some reason. I love being sneaky and he fits my style perfectly, it is so satisfying to find someone alone on a Gen and Expose them and then watch them freak out trying to figure out where I did it from.
But I do have complaints. They didn't need to add in those extra 4 meters on both sides, it was not necessary and no one needed it, we only needed practice but the Devs did it anyway.
Ghostface can be revealed behind walls with someone on the otherside, if this particular thing was fixed then I actually don't have anything to complain about. Besides what I said above this particular thing really hurts Ghostface, everyone says it's lag so maybe the Dedicated Servers will fix it if that's the case but if it isn't lag then it needs to be fixed. It's not fair that Ghostface needs to peak behind a wall to see you but Survivors can turn their camera so they can see you on the otherside of a wall when you didn't even know someone was close by.
I think his "stealthiest" outfit is the one that looks like a rubbish bag.
-
Long story short: M1 killer with a big terror radius.

No, let's not.

Yep him legion, wraith and leatherface. If you play these killers expect to get dunked on the entire round.
Leatherkek can at least camp to death the P3-purple-flashlight Kekdette who teabagged and blinded him at every pallet. The Legion, the Trapper and Loser Face™ can't even do that.

I play killer (actually rank 4) and I NEVER complain about DS and BT because i don't tunnel. Tunnel is boring AF and not fun at all.
You don't complain about them because you're either
A) a survivor-main in disguise.
B) playing against bad survivors with no clue on how to abuse the said perks.
Cheers.
