PSA: When one of their teammates is getting camped, the other survivors have a very simple counter they more often than not refuse to utilize: focusing on the remaing generators. This counter produces a 75% win-rate for them, which in any normal game would be considered insanely overpowered and in need of a sledgehammer-nerf.
-
Maybe git gud?

IMO the only real problem is survivors can prevent the killer from getting the "hook" prompt by standing behind them. It's an exploit and it needs to be fixed.

I agree with 2 and 3. The killer most of the time sees my aura in the loading animation when you spawn in which is annoying.
In response to 1), that's way too much of a nerf. It already has the significant downside of the killer being able to see you
In a world where pallet-looping exists, that's not enough of a downside.

To get the necessary perks it is often unnecessary to pump all the perks. Killers get considerably more bloodpoints (x3,5) for game, and also if the survivor dies(what happens very often), he loses items that are very rarely found on the Bloodweb. It's hard to say who the economy is cruel to in this game.
Hint: survivors gain the same amount of points per time played as killers, and get to keep their items if they survive the trial. So no, it's not hard at all to say to who the economy is cruel in DbD.

Every killer that isn't the Nurse or the Hillbilly.

They're not even that useful.

If there is a bug with it, it's not a well-known one at the moment. The devs didn't ban for abusing Wake Up, so they probably won't do anything about Sprint Burst either until a hotfix.
Yup. Double standards at its finest.

He's better than how he is in the live build, but that's about it.

Not in the slightest. He's one of the worst killers in the game.

No. It's trash now.

Can I get an example?
-Patch 1.1.1.: the range for a pallet-stun has been increased enormously, yet the change is not in the patch notes and still needs to be reverted.
-Patch 1.9.0.: survivors' footsteps sounds, breathing and other misc idle sounds have been muted. The change is not mentioned in the patch notes. The change was only reverted with patch 2.0.0.
-Patch 1.9.2.: the Huntress stops dead in her tracks when she sheathes a hatchet. The change is not in the patch notes. Reverted with one of the following patches.
-Patch 2.5.0.: Leatherface gets stunned if he performs a chainsaw attack near a hook. The patch notes say nothing about this, and the change is still waiting to be reverted.
-
Just wait until Monstrum 2 comes out.
-
She already has too much counterplay. Slow movement speed, useless power tied to a 30 seconds cooldwn and completely killed by a dumb audio cue...
Git gud.
-
It does have a downside: you have to play a mediocre killer in order to use it.
-
Is anybody actually surprised?
-
PSA: the Depip squad did play against killer-mains that are well known as good, and they relentlessy rushed and looped all of them. There was one, single exception that occurred because a member of the Depip squad made a really stupid mistake at the end.
Survivors are overpowered. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Their skill-cap is way higher that what any survivor-main will ever bother to learn.

Im tired of these kinds of killers too. Every Killer since clown including new Freddy has had a power gauge and every Killer since Plauge has had survivors heavily impact their power level.
I just want a simple M2 killer like Huntress, Nurse, BIlly or Wraith with no gimmicks and where the power is in the killers hands completely.
But not locking their pitiful excuses for powers behind 30 sec power gauges that can get reset even by something as common as a stun would make them an actual threat! We can't allow that, survivors would review-bomb the game, and that's not good for business! Who would then buy the newest pricy flashy skins for MegHead/Kekdette/Neo?
Seriously, though, I wouldn't expect a new power gauge-free killer anytime soon. They found a way to saw off both feet to every new potentially interesting killer, and survivors are still not happy -just look at how many "ZPiriTina tU oOp, pLiz nUrf!11!!" threads there are.
To be honest, I'm quite surprised they didn't announce that they would rework every other killer to have their powers crippled by a power gauge. I'm guessing it's probably because of time costraints, seeing as Horvath (I think it was him) said multiple times that he's all in for neutering Nurse and Billy.

I wonder why...

Its true though. You cant dispute that fact.
Survivors get more or less the same amount of points per time played as killers.
-
No, but it sure looks like survivors can rob him of his power through walls.

Because they caved in to the survivor-meme known as "kILLeRz EaRn MoRe BloOoOOdPoiNtZ!11!!!11!!!"

That's on you :)

Another thing Ive noticed about it is some ppl just jump into lockers to FORCE the DS. You cant slug them, so you either gotta eat it or let them go.
That's the only instance in which Leatherface's chainsaw has an actual use (his chainsaw attack goes through lockers).

Mainly because the majority of the Forums and Reddit are Killer Mains.
The constant outcries from Killer Mains are ridiculous and honestly the only thing Devs should say is "Git Gud".
Every Killer change they make is a "RIP Killer, this game is trash, im quitting this game is way too survivor sided, wow gj devs another trash change" change for Killer Mains, and that's a fact. Y'all are never happy with anything the Devs do.
I legitimately think that the Killers here want a Killer that can down Survivors just by looking at them for 0.5 seconds and that's what they would call balance and a "threating" Killer.
Somebody is new around here.
-
The Nurse debate has a simple solution indeed: git gud and adapt like Nurse-mains did when she was made the worst killer in the game.
-
Were they ever actually viable?

My point still stands your clip is outdated so come back when you have a valid argument.
No, it doesn't. That survivor was terribad, yet they were able to keep the killer at bay for 5 gens. Try again :^D

They had ruin. We had 5 gens left. Do you want a corner to cry or what?
That's a question you should ask yourself.
-
Getting looped and rushed isn't fun either, but survivors don't care. So...
-
Git gud.

Bamboozle, Spirit fury, Pop goes the weasel and either Corrupt intervention if you want to be "competitive" or BBQ & chili if you feel like farming.

The killer was bad and also it was Leatherface as well as the survivor being bad plus exhaustion wasn't nerfed at the time so they would have gone down way sooner so that clip is invalid.

are you high? You send a video from idk 2k09? as an argument that looping is still a problem, while the devs already showed and explained their new map design and the reworks? I mean, pallet vacuum, faster/smoother vaults, exhaustion regresses while running, slower killer action speed, more pallets and im pretty sure, insta blinds too.
So dare you. Leave the forums for 5 minutes and shame on you!
My point stands. You come back when you have a valid argument.
-
You might as well stop making this kind of threads. The devs don't listen to killers. They never did, and they probably never will.
-
NOED doesn't "reward bad plays on the killer's side". It merely punishes survivors for being complacent and lazy. If you die because of NOED, that's on you and your team.
-
He's a M1 killer with a pitiful stealth ability that can be completely nullified simply by a survivor LOOKING at him for a sec. Myers does everything Ghostface can do, and he can do it far better.

She's not even remotely op.

Would still be underwhelming.

I love looping Doctors for 5 generators and see them ragequit as soon as the EGC timer appears on screen.

But u also gotta consider how the killers have steered the game both parties have had equal input, infact i feel as if killer is currently really strong. Like killers got the pallet amount reduced, who do u think nerfed ds? Endgame definetly killer, the devs do listen to their community, sometimes to much.
But take out loops how will the game go? Youll spend longer loading for the game then playing.
But mechanics like looping is discovered by surv needing a way to survive, surv looks for anew mechanic cause the killer is so powerful and they need to find a way to counteract him, where there is action there is cause.
As is the goal of the surv is to survive.
Once again you're wrong. The devs don't listen to killers. They never did, and they probably never will.

I'm not a fan of looping, but the game gives no any other reliable means to defend yourself. Stealth is laughable (getting more so with every update along with some killers will adjust their graphics to make finding survivors even easier) and mind games/losing the killer need some degree of luck to work with scratchmarks/blood/ever louder grunts present.
However eliminating looping and having the slaughterfest that follows until the devs figure out how to balance killers in response, will result in a literal die off of the survivor population. They have written themselves into a corner.
Survivors have only themselves to blame for that, as I've already explained multiple times in multiple threads.

As a someone who plays both killer and surv equally, i find looping to be fine, tho it's not fine when survs start the bm, looping isnt an exploit its simply the survivor trying to stay alive, which is their goal of the game (basically) and yes it is counterable by mindgames, the mindagmes aresnt hard either, u just gotta learn how the surv plays, also survs expect different play styles of killer so trick them into thinking you respect pallets then dont, u just gotta play smart cause pallet looping is simply the surv just trying to survive
Survivors can be totally blamed for looping. They lobbied the devs for it and resisted every single time it had a whiff of nerf incoming. They are not neutral bystanders who can't be blamed for using whatever the game gives them to win, they had a hand in the game being steered in that direction.
