This one isn't even close to the "pro" loopers you can find at high ranks, yet he/she was able to stall the killer for almost 5 generators.
Pallet looping is a problem because, other than being an exploit that was later acknowledged as standard gameplay because survivors did their thing and refused to adopt any other playstyle, unless the survivors are inepts it requires zero skill, zero investment and absolutely zero risk for them, but at the same time it's a ginormus time waster for the killer.
-
A daily reminder on the fact that survivors were absolutely fine with Enduring "countering" DS... until it actually did.
-
Well, that's exactly what happened for survivors in these 3 years.
-
For the same reason why Freddy and Nurse got gutted mere days after their releases: because survivors whined the house down.

Her power is perfectly fine.
What's not fine is her add-ons. They're all very old and most of them are in need of a reimagination.
Yeah, they need to be finally buffed to take account of the unjustified uber-nerfs base Nurse received 3 years ago.

The best thing you can probably do is listen for her footsteps. The Prayer Beads is a ridiculous add-on that needs some type of downside.
Also, you can't see grass moving while she is phasing. Only thing that you can see is disturbed crows and hearing her footsteps.
Spine Chill and Iron Will are good against Spirit, but you shouldn't run perks just in case you run into a killer you don't like. There's better perks you could be running that will help you against any killer.
The downside to prayer beads is that you have to play a trash tier scrub-stomper in order to use it.

People use DS as an anti-tunnel perk?
I see DS as a free protected minute i can sit on the gen without being harmed by the killer. Get unhooked and instantly run to a gen. If the killer comes, i have a guaranteed escape.
Now with the Enduring nerf, it can't even be soft countered and ensures my safety.
This. DS is as broken and unhealthy for the game as ever.

Freddy was the only massive nerf, Ghostface got a tiny nerf AFTER being buffed and you people act like it's the end of the world
You're new around here, huh?
Myers and his perks got gutted a couple of months after their release.
The Nurse received the largest set of nerfs in the history of DbD mere days after her release.
And the list goes on.
The Freddy fiasco is far from being "the only massive nerf".

Because BHVR doesn't care about killers.

I agree that map design is the biggest hindrance that is hurting their viability.
They need to make them good enough to compensate and function in a world where the maps don't support their play styles since they won't be able to fix the maps in time, if they even intend to fix them properly anyway.
The problem isn't map design per say. Yes, most building are terribly designed, but IMO the inexplicable omega buffs that pallets received in 1.1.1., which created the game-breaking pallet-looping we have today, are a way bigger issue.
-
@op (Again) wrong. They do listen. To survivors, that is...
-
For the 100.000th time. DS should be deleted and replaced with something else. Its effect is too strong to be in the game. It's a 60 seconds immunity perk. It's still as unhealthy as it was back in 2016.

OoO makes every killer unusable.

"since Billy still gets decimated by the best of the best" Holy moly - my eyes. I have never seen a good Billy to lose a match ever. Put that insta chainsaw on, SF, Bamboozle and just roll over everyone. I guess your Billy is just not good enough. I remember watching Jen a month ago with her friends playing and they usually win every single match and then there was this Billy who they knew. They literally got destroyed with 5 gens up.
The Depip Squad would like to have a word with you.
-
You pop a Streamers during a BloodHunt, everyone's happy. You win the match though with a 4k-3k, nobody thanks you post chat or even says anything.
Because they rather do their usual thing, if you get what I mean.

"We heard the flashlight blind was physically hurting killer players so we changed it."
"As a consistency change, we made killers physically hurt when they get stunned by a pallet."
"This change has been thought of when we discussed with our balance team about what is a stun, a very complex topic."
Well, they had to come up with an excuse to neuter Enduring whilst (although indirectly) buffing DS for the fourth time, so...
-
Yup. Buying him at this point is pure masochism.

Who knows. I have a "theory"...

Unfortunately, this surprises noone.
Buying Ghostface at this point is pure masochism.

Stealth was dead way back in 2018.
And it's funny because both the Developers AND Killer mains want looping nerfed... but the only thing they keep doing is buffing looping perks and systematically making stealth worse and worse with every patch.
That said... nobody actually uses Dance WIth Me so don't worry about it.
If stealth is harder now than it was originally, survivors have only themselves to blame.
-
*don't buy Ghostface unless they make him a viable killer.

Every killer is a potential salt factory, lol.

Survivors want to be chased all game to troll and abuse the killer, so the time killers spend looking for them needs to be reduced.
Survivors don't know what they want, and the devs should stop listening to them.

If he was so balanced, why don't they give other killers tools in their kit that will help them all be high tier. It clearly isn't that hard to design a character according to y'all.
Furthermore, good billies will hit you with that saw as soon as they break that pallet you had to use after running that loop for so long. They have insane map pressure, an instadown, and run at normal killer speed. Idk why he runs at normal killer speed. His power is so good, he doesn't need it. Spirit has less map pressure (without add-ons) and she moves at 110, can't see survs, and has the one tool in her kit. Nurse has the one tool as well and its insanely good. But omg, guess what both of them don't have as a part of their kits? Instadowns!!!!!
He should run at 110 movement speed. That's it. That's the only change he needs. Or at least put it on the ptb, give the stupid survivor mains something to be happy about for once.
No. :)

I love how the OP states Ds and says it wasnt needed or wanted....>Ds only works when you get tunnelled by a killer....you think tunnelling is something that is wanted? if you get hit with Ds, yyou actually suck as a killer. And now it is telling you you suck..:)
If you do generators you suck ;D

PSA: when the Spirit is phasing you can clearly hear the directional sound of her footsteps. If you get grabbed off a gen, that's completely on you.
-
It does serve a purpose, though I can't tell here what it is specifically.

Improved my afterpiece tonic. It's just a bunch of qol changes.

Nurse is fine. If survivors spend even half the amount of time playing against her, as nurse players did to master her, then they'd know how to avoid her.
Instead they just DC or suicide and call for a nerf.
And this behaviour (lol) is not limited to when they face a Nurse. Calling for nerfs every time they encounter the slightest resistance in game has been the survivor meta since day 1 of this game.
-
This is bait.

Nurse.

Well, the Nurse is the only real killer in this game, so...

@Tsulan KillArs get a potentially infinite 100% increased deadliness for failing at the game (NOED). Yep. You kinda should have realized it at this point. Many perks can be considered rewards for failing.
Oh you just lost a chase? Np, -insert random perks which enhances your finding skill- makes up for that fail.
Noed requires survivors to fail in order to do anything.

OP things should be nerfed, she is now balanced at base.
She was never op. She did what she was designed to do according to the devs' own stated design intent for her. She was then nerfed for doing exactly that, because survivors whined the house down. They didn't want to be forced to do something other than looping around infinites and pallets.
Survivors did totally fine against her after she was hit with the unjustified omega-nerf. It's kinda funny how survivors used the advices killers gave to them on how to beat the Nurse only after that.
Then they forgot everything and got worse at the game by leaning more and more on their luxury crutches (infinites, then pallet-loops). In the meantime, Nurse players adapted, they changed how they played the Nurse, inventing her play style as we know it today.
This all happened because whilst survivors keep telling killers 'git gud' and to just adapt, they were never doing that themselves. Only killers have to ever improve and adapt; survivors know if they are persistent enough the devs will give them virtually anything.

@Acromio You mean with 3 blinks and 115% movement speed?
Yes. It's a matter of principle. There was no valid reason to nerf her.
-
She needs to be reverted back to how she was initially.

10/10 I second this.
