Pretty much the roles are reversed between survivor and killer in a sense of looping with killer NOW having the advantage (Legion can still be looped a bit).
-
@Peasant And in the summer of 2017 (?), we either got triple or Quadruple BP event if I remember correctly. Imagine getting another one of those! I'd be glued to the game even where it's at right now.
-
Add another 32,000 when there are double bloodpoint eve- oh wait, hahaha sorry. We don't get those.
-
Not to mention we're getting double pallets at jungle gyms ):
-
Wouldn't Lee make more sense?
-
@yeet TBF, most survivor mains should.
-
@sKetch OOF. Not tough to beat, but it's a brutal combo? Hmm.
-
GREAT idea. Doubt the Devs would go for it though :/
-
When ever I want to suffer, playing killer helps. Yeah, doesn't really translate to actual relief. Does help take my mind off things sometimes (:
-
Everyone other than Jane and Ash.
-
Well, since you can really only reach rank 1 as killer, you get diversity. Some good player games, some not so good player games, rank 17s.... I'm sure you've seen posts about the ranking system right?
-
I will say the part that is rotten makes my brain cells commit suicide. Because my God, they're complete idiots.
-
Many people on here show their frustrations in a polite manner. Many show their frustrations with more emotion in a non direct manner, but even then it isn't overboard. Only a select amount of people show more aggression and ignorance.
Most people are upset with the state of the game because of so many problems ATM. We as a community support this game financially , which is why we show the frustrations (not saying people have the right to ######### on them directly because of this, just putting this out here) . And I think I speak for most people when I say we love this game. We want this game in a good state, it's the reason we bought it and continue to support and play it. For a lot of us, we're just voicing our opinion. I think it's expected in all groups that there's going to be some rotten apples. But that doesn't make them all rotten. A lot of people show kindness, some show frustration in a non direct manner and some are complete dicks. But dicks are going to be dicks. Just like how there will always be toxicity in the game it self.
There's always going to be hate from some people no matter what. It goes for almost anything. But for the majority of the community, we're cheering them on, hoping stuff gets fixed soon.
-
Bamboozle on Nurse obviously. You didn't say we couldn't blink.
-
Certain -time window- for the extra damage on Mend timer after vault ofc.
-
@Orion So it balances out a bit, what do you think about Legion's power depleting a certain amount after vaulting (like a moderate amount), along with your idea? And if you hit someone after a vault, their mend time takes more of a hit (One hit chance, only in Feral Frenzy). That coupled with Legions mend time quicker (5 seconds?), but also how about when you enter killer instinct and leave the Survivor, you don't start to lose your killer instinct until you enter in another chase like how you proposed on feral frenzy? So essentially Legion gets excellent map pressure, decent time waste and decent ability to down while having a little counter play (along with shorter mend so survivors don't have to complain as much).
-
Did you get a Merciless victory/2 pip?
-
@AshleyWB Although I like the Nurse Idea, I definitely am NOT on board with the billy one. Billy is so balanced.
-
Its a no for me, but I am intrigued. Maybe re visit this when SWF gen rush is also dealt with. Because we haven't balanced them out for strong play as of yet. Why should we with nurse? Nice proposition regardless. Maybe if the power gauge reset immediately after? So if you did a full blink (like you said) you can't do one immediately after. But after the fatigue, it's fully back up almost instantly. Then you can rework the add ons to "Increases the maximum power gauge, increases the time to get back to full power gauge". Something along like that. Though it would hurt her map control a bit. Wouldn't matter too much if the SWF gen rush were also fixed side by side.
-
@Mc_Harty That's why I said along the lines of, "where ever the bar is set for high ranks". Which is pretty much rank 5. But yeah, The system in general is trash.
Worried about how this perk may effect the future of this game.
-
@altruistic Terrible take. Please read more into this.
-
@Mc_Harty Not sure how MoM correlates into longer lobbies. Because killers will leave? That would just be proving my point.
And yes. The build is going to be MoM, DH, adrenaline and whatever the hell you want as a 4th. SWF should be almost ashamed if they don't escape with this set up.
-
@Shinymon that's the problem though. If you want to play a different killer not named Plague or Huntress, you're going to be running in to MoM because survivors are expecting a killer like Nurse or spirit. Remember, it's not like all the killers got buffs, so players are still going to be inclined to play the higher tier killers. This is going to create an epidemic where players are wondering if they should not play a certain killer because of a 4man MoM, DH and adrenaline. The new META if you will.
-
@Mc_Harty Not the same outcome. The pipping system has just led people into DCing where MoM is setting a M1 killer problem. Sure this can lead a killer into DCing, but it's not going to lead into a strike type of thing like how the pipping system has shown it has been.
-
@Bbbrian2013 LF and Billy can't always get away from using ONLY their chainsaws. Especially LF. Alright everyone! Let's just play Huntress and Plague!
-
@Mc_Harty Different problem though. People are still at high ranks where ever the bar is set at.
-
@Skycerer Yes that's my point part of my point. We're straying even further away from other killers.
-
@DwightsLifeMatters Yeah that's probably it.
-
@Mushwin Yeah. Didn't even know what I was choosing though lol
-
None of the answers were popping up for me RIP. Only part of the question was showing up.
-
@LCGaster I just feel bad for Freddy lol.
-
Where would you place The Plague in the killer tier list?
Is there a way to balance SWF and solos? If so, how should SWF and solos/low ranks separate between one another in terms of balance?
Should Freddy be buffed or nerfed? How should he be?
Does Billy have a chance to dominate every game if you have mastered him? Or is there gap where SWF are enough? Is he balanced?
Should NOED be nerfed? Should it be reworked?
What is your escape rate as a survivor? Sacrifices per game as killer? Do you think you have room to improve as either role? Any specific killer?
What are your thoughts on perks adrenaline and ruin?
Who are your top 3 killers in terms of skill? The killers who you are best with.
Will Mettle of Man be the new DS?
Should survivors be given more credit for their skill in terms of looping certain tiles?
Is this too many questions?
-
@thesuicidefox You should be able to create a new chapter! Devs, grant them their prize!!
-
Once.
-
@BillyIII It will be implemented in DBD 2

See I feel like it doesn't help as much as people think. If you have 8 tokens it's quite awesome, but on average you are going to be walking around with like 4 tokens at any given moment, unless you go out of your way to avoid the obsession until the end. Enduring/SF is a much better deal, even though it's 2 perks it is probably one of the strongest killer combos in the game if not the strongest. Enduring on its own is useful if only for the reduce pallet stun, and then it also reduces DS/Head On stun too as a big bonus. STBFL won't help you at pallets.
I also am not a fan of using obsession perks because then you ALWAYS have an obsession. Now that DS has been nerfed obsessions are less common. It might spike after Ash comes out with MoM, but once people realize that perk isn't really that good it will drop again. It just makes things more easy going IMO. You never have to guess if someone has an obsession perk.
IMO both Rancor and Remember Me are more valuable because Rancor let's you kill the obsession at end game and RM adds time to the gate which can completely change the end game of a trial. STBFL will help in those situations where you have >4 tokens and someone gets hit in a bad spot, but that's so situational.
STBFL isn't necessarily always helpful, but with some killers it proves to be dominant. I agree with the enduring and SF combo over STBFL other than with spirit (killers like nurse who don't need either aren't in the convo). Now the question becomes is it better than other perks on her? I don't really know. I like a lot of perks on her.
Obsessions don't really bother me. DS isn't BS anymore and that's the only perk that has the element of surprise. I take pride of not tunneling, so it's not difficult to take in a obsession perk if I want to.
I really dislike rancor as a perk. I feel like it doesn't help at all until end game with a high risk high reward obsession mori (the location reveal is pretty much pathetic IMO). It's at least fun sometimes. I like remember me. Provides a bit of security.
-
Too late. The Devs are already in the middle of the nerf.
-
I think it's good for certain killers. It CAN work with all killers, but it's better suited for killers who can take advantage of it more consistently like Spirit. I also have found that it's pretty nice on Clown with his bottles providing a nice combo. It's pretty interesting with hag with the traps. I have to explore some timings and distance to see the real potential.
-
@Orion didn't say they're funny. I just think it's enjoyable to celebrate a holiday is all.

TL DR can someone summarize the leak for me? ty
@thesuicidefox some pretty big buffs! They reduced the base time to put survivors to sleep by .0000005 seconds and made it so he can grab the survivors from hatch when they're not asleep! Downside is they automatically get 3 chances at DS if they get grabbed. Still a top tier killer now! 👍

I didn't fall for it. It's April Fools, everyone's opening bait threads because they think it's funny.
@Orion Do you not find it at least a bit of a joy? I think they're fun. Even if it's predictable.
-
GGEZ April Fools. Fooled everyone.
-
It's all random. Remember, they're a lot of perks in the game along with each of them having 3 tiers. Though if you get to p3, you have a better chance at getting tier 3 perks more quickly.
-
@Poweas This guy knows what he's talking about.
-
@Tydie Tournaments don't tell the full story.
-
Use NOED. Only then it's a yes from me.
-
I can confirm this. My billy has 46 Ebony moris compared to 16 Ivory.
-
@thesuicidefox I can also think of a few on the top of my head. Hopefully console nurses will get some recognition someday. You should judge my nurse/huntress when we vs again and vice versa.

@MegChicken Just because there are fewer players will to put in the time to get good with these killers DOES NOT mean that these killers are weaker than on PC. It just means you don't see those killers as often, and when you do they aren't usually as good. But trust me, there are quite a few really REALLY good Nurse and Huntress players on console that prove these killers are strong no matter what platform you are on.
@SovererignKing No I'm on Xbox. That is PS4.
@thesuicidefox and when you mean a few, like 7-8 at most. I agree though that there are some good Nurses and huntresses and console on par or better than PC ones. (I hope people would consider me one :(
