This one is baffling. Like, okay, maybe you only got that kill because she wanted to help her teammate, but that was her choice to do so. It's not like you hooked her then went straight to post-game chat to tell her she was bad. You just played the video game as intended.
Exactly, especially since I didn't even go looking for the Ash, I was fine with him getting hatch, but sadly he didn't find it before his trap popped.

I literary had a survivor duo throw an absolute fit today in endgame chat and later in steam chat cause one of them (the obsession) died at 7 hooks vs an endgame build with remember me on pig.
When I pointed out that it's kind of the point to have the obsession dead in endgame cause of the perk, I got a long essay on how it's not about the perks but about dirty playstyles.
Those survivors had 3.5k hours in this game and were both p100. The player that got "tunneled out" even had DS which didn't trigger cause she wasn't tunneled. Like only in DBD so many players live in their own worlds and make up their own rules. Absolutely baffles me
My favorite (P100 Pig here) is the time when the last two survivors were an Ash with an active bear trap on his head and a Jill that had zero hooks and was a looping God. The generators were done, the doors were open and what's she doing? Circles in the exit gate. So, I downed her and hooked her… She did not try to escape (this was back when you could always attempt to 4%) and just waiting out the timer… Ash's trap exploded and then she immediately was sacrificed. In end game chat she was GOING OFF on me about how the only reason I got a 4K was because she was a team player and wouldn't leave the Ash behind… I tried to explain that if she'd just left, he might have been able to get hatch but she wasn't hearing it. She said I must be an only child because I don't know what it means to be a team player.

There was in fact a bug that made people lose them... and the only way to get them back was through support. You know what else had that exact same bug? Legacy. It was a bug basically since release and was happening well before those cosmetics were even a thing. It was such a common thing in fact, theres a whole steam group dedicated to it.
Oh I know, but an event item is different than Legacy. I think they should at this point give the Legacy skins to any account old enough to have earned them (which would not be me) since they can't fix others, but no way they will do that.
Also the Howling Grounds specifically nobody got at all due to a bug with the event at the time, and so that's when they added them to everyone because they had no way to track who'd earned them or not. As for Summer BBQ, yes some who had them lost them so that's why they added them to everyone, but also even then that was buggy so that's when they said that if you didn't get the Summer BBQ you could just email them and they'd be granted. -
@Shroompy said:
Legacy skins are only wanted because of the novelty(?) and exclusivity associated to them. The moment you take that away, they are nothing more than glowing cheeto dust that barely anyone is going to use.
We've seen this happen with other exclusive skins. People kept asking over and over for the Howling Grounds and Summer BBQ cosmetics to be available again and the moment they were released to everyone the skins lost what made them special. Crowns had a similar situation, and I cant even tell you the last time I saw somebody run around with one of those things
Well, the Howling Grounds (and maybe Summer BBQ) cosmetics were a bit different, they were bugged and NOBODY got them as they should have… so that's why everyone gets them now, but you are right about the crowns for sure.

We've been saying this about Offerings and Survivor Items for years now. For some reason, BHVR refuses to do it.

I won't name the company, but I know of one gaming company that does not adhere to any "Protect the guilty" policy. In fact, they outfight call cheaters out and force them to make a public apology.
This shows that there is no legal reason not to tell us "Oh yeah, Johnny was banned for cheating. Thanks for reporting him." and yet, every single company has a policy against it. -
Balrog said it. BHVR does not consider it cheating. That's what matters. Is it cheating though? I think many players do use it to get an unfair advantage, but my opinion means nothing, only BHVR's.

Oh, I am aware but until BHVR acknowledges it, that's an entirely different issue.

Yes, there was a thing a year or two ago where Trickster was visually bugged and causing photo-sensitivity seizures and there were a few bad actors on the bird app celebrating that they had not shut down their game so were still playing Trickster, and I mean celebrating… These bad actors wanted to hurt people. Luckily, BHVR put out a small hotfix soon after, so they quickly ran out of victims.

Dropping from Iri I to the bottom of Iri 2 and having to wait five minutes because the dedicated servers crash is pretty crummy.
Also, why is it always ten minutes in to a great match that the dedicated servers crash?
It's never the crappy five minutes routes where that happens.
Yea, it sucks, I agree but there is no way for their servers to tell where the signal was lost. Did you turn off your router or did their server hiccup? The system has no idea. A much more sophisticated setup could possibly be programmed with a failsafe to tell the difference, but… that is not something BHVR has. So we get penalized.

I've been seeing a huge amount of this lately, predominantly in the event which I presume is because of the BP incentive, but even in regular queue.
I go killer, find my first chase, give the survivor a little love tap and they stop, turn and start crouching to request mercy. Often this comes after the survivor didn't even bother to run.
I shake my head and try to give them enough time to get ahead and start a chase. They do not move, so I down them, and while I'm going for hook other survivors follow me and shake their head with disapproval (this has caused snowballs before too).
I'm not offended by this. I often engage in a little whimsy. I'm definitely baiting a "When the Killer Has Personality" clip in most of my games, but it's pushing it with how often I'm seeing it. I do actually want to play the video game as intended in my limited free time while working for a living.
If even one person is doing this, it puts the survivors at such a disadvantage that they've effectively lost the game already unless I elect to let this individual continue grinding gens unimpeded which, of course, would likely cause me to lose instead.
I don't even mind 8-hooking and then letting them farm after, as the entity hungering doesn't bother me at all. I just want a bit of gameplay in my limited time off. I wouldn't post about this if it was just occasional, but it has been getting so frequent that I kept track last night as an experiment. I played 9 killer matches, 5 of them had at least 1 survivor do this and it soured a night of otherwise fun, balanced games.
Maybe just having a moan, but is this as common for other people?Try being a Pig Main sometime. We're known for "boops" and all that, and yeah it's fun, but sometimes we just want a serious game and there are times when the survivors at the end of the serious game seem to be not happy you were not friendly with them. Sure, some are joking about it, but a non zero number are totally serious.
Now, that said, I am much more likely to be on the friendly side in an Event queue, because lets face it… no survivor likes going against sweaty tryhard killer after sweaty tryhard killer and barely getting any event points because of it, so I like to be that killer who breaks that monotony for them. Sometimes. -

Legion will return the next time the game has an update, which will be when the current PTB releases onto Live.
That's what I Figured. So any Legion mains are just out of luck for this year's Blood Moon event. You really need to make it so that you can still spend Blood Points on a Killswitched character, just disable the "Ready" button.

I recently switched to learning Pig after a prolonged period of Chucky play.
I was forced to become a memester because I forget you have to uncrouch to gen grab, so multiple matches I have stealthed right up to someone oblivious on a gen, then proceeded to just grunt awkwardly.
When they turn around and boop, I feel so guilty that my intention was to kill them, and I can't bring myself to stop playing nice after.
Is this how a Pig main becomes what they are?Yes, though some follow the Way of the Black Leather Jacket. We do not speak of these fallen Sisters.

Because there is still achievements and such that survivors might be able to obtain, and they cannot do so without a killer. Feel free to downvote me, I know many of you will, but this is a simple fact. This is the reason and the only reason BHVR needs.

I am sorry, divulging our secrets would be betrayal of The Society of Swine.

One of my favorite builds I jokingly call "Perkless Pig" because it's a totally end game build, but sometimes if the survivors manage to finish all the generators, I open the door myself and let them go. Now, I do use my power and play normally to try to get my 4K before the last generator is completed and my perks "activate" but… once that last generator is done game over for me. If I do get the 4K, then I didn't bring any perks if none of them came into play. Heh.

VC isn't going to stop complaints. Peope mute (I would), people will be toxic, people will be deceptive, people will be bossy—and people will still be bad. Comms are one part of SWF. Knowing and caring about your teammates is the other, bigger part. That gap is unbridgable.
Speaking of cutting things out, remove the basekit unhook endurance/haste...Bring back, either by reverting or adding new ones, the perks working around downed survivors.
Why do you need wins to be so incredibly free for killers? Is your KR 30%? The only way you could want this stuff so badly is if you want to use the cheesiest methods ever. Killers already tunnel and slug constantly. They don't need help with it.
My point is, aside from my dislike of handing out crutches. (especially because where are my killer crutches? Killers don't get any anti instant unhook crutch, or anti genrush crutch, etc
What is bloodlust if not a crutch? How about you can't kick gens anymore too? Why should you be able to do that anyway?
There seems to be this anti-playstyle sentiment where someone doesn't like a playstyle so the devs remove or hinder it for them
Oh, kinda like stealth for survivors when Distortion was wrecked? But camping, tunneling, and slugging are still constant 10 years in. What's been removed?
maybe I am holding out the false hope that we'll actually do something good to make the game more enjoyable than just "lets increase pallet density because the pig got a couple kills"
Pallet density was reverted. And make it more enjoyable for who? The worst killer players that want 80% KRs regardless of skill? I'll stick to a game that at least feels mildly challenging. You realize that 4/5 of this game's playerbase have to want to play survivor for you to be able to play killer, right?
Pretty much couldn't have said it better myself, and this is coming from a P100 Pig main.

Ignore them, usually. If they keep getting in my way I'll slug them. If this person is doing this early enough in the match for it to be a full-blown throw, I'll give the best player hatch (literally just got out of a match like this, with one dead at 4 gens, two throwing, and one juicer continuing on, who got hatch.) If multiple people come to me to make a visual appeal about their bad teammate, I'll let them all go. I don't like free stuff, especially when one person causes others to fail. And there's zero sense of accomplishment in such a match.
Oh yea, I hear you and yea if the others play well despite a teammate being just super bad (even in other ways) that does make me much much more likely to give hatch or even sometimes farm.
Plus as a P100 Pig Main, i am no stranger to meme games where I will even 2 hook and then let everyone finish the generators and leave. -

I am saying this with my years of experience in this game. Nothing you tell to those people who do this in end game chat it will not register. They will literally invent stuff that they really think happened in the match. These are the people who will leave you bleed on the ground because their warped sense of you not doing your part when you had done the thing they claimed you had not. I sometimes would classify those people to be little bit delusional as they think they know all that happened in the match but in the end they have no real clue of anything. Like even if you sat on a gen next to them fixing it they will claim you did not do gens or they expect you to come to save them when you are on the opposite side of the map fixing the most done gen when his friend are not doing anything or hiding from the killer.
I agree, but why give them reason in-game to sandbag and bully you? Besides, end-game chat only matters to PC players, and as much as some PC players might think otherwise, we're not the majority. Even then, some of us keep the rage and salt in-game and respect the real person on the other end, even if we got angry and/or frustrated in-game.
I remember once, on her last game for the night a streamer I was watching was trying to get Adept Legion and she went up against another streamer who (we did not know this at the time) plays for one reason and one reason only… Flashbang saves. Her team will jump into lockers, wait for you to pull the survivor out (if they don't hit you with Head On) then throw down a flashbang at the exact right time. Over and over. While the Legion streamer did manage to get the Adept, she got more angry and frustrated than I have ever seen her before or since… and yet she said GGWP in end game chat and chose that streamer as her raid target for the night, and now they are friends. -
Regular DBD is not the same game that Mobile was, it wasn't even made by the same developers, it was merely licensed to them. Therefore, yes. It's apples and oranges.

This continues to be one of the most misunderstood aspects of the game for some reason.
It's because gens aren't the killers objective. At best, they're a consumable resource that buys the killer time to complete their actual objective: killing survivors.
And, for the record, you can still kill survivors after the gens are done.
I think of gens as a resource, and similar in many ways to pallets. They're intended to be used up as part of normal gameplay to buy time. But no one has ever said "I had to throw pallets that chase". Yet somehow "2 gens in my first chase" is considered problematic.
Is it harder with all the resources used? Sure. Is it impossible to a point that giving up is reasonable? No.
The same could be said for a 4 man slug. Sure, the killer COULD go around and hook everyone and one might be able to wiggle free… maybe they won't but they might.
Is it impossible to a point that giving up is reasonable? No. -

Fair enough I do agree with the adjustments being good, but have you played against dissolution using Ghoul? it kind of removes said counterplay. This is also really strong on Krasue also, there is still some interactions with this killer that can be really oppressive and these pain points are definately worth exploring.
I'm against nerfing a perk because of a killer, Ghoul's free hit basically makes this really easy to get value out of, pair that with the vault tech being one of the main counterplays, we have an issueThey nerfed Haywire because it was broken on Singularity. Not to mention how many perks have been nerfed due to how they work with Nurse or Blight over the years?

Was that me that said that? Pretty sure it was. Dodging is my dbd sin. I'll dodge for anything. And yeah, I'd dodge a meme or totem or hatch build in lobby 100% if I could, just like I'd dodge someone with 200 hours. I'm tired of losing because of goofy teammates. But once I'm in a match, I'm locked in. No DCing, no AFKing, no griefing. Most people will act fine. The ones who won't, already weren't. We stand to benefit more than hurt from this.
I currently run what would likely be considered a rat build. Self-Preservation, Iron Will, Lucky Break, hatch at main, and a key. But it's pretty obvious in match that I'm not a rat. The key gives me team aura read and the ability to let my team rummage chests. Hatch at main is a backup, and I rarely need the key for that because killers go to shack when they see the secret offering. And I never get griefed inexplicably, because I show that I'm active and a team player. Most people will continue to judge on that criteria.
Yes, you were one forum users I had in mind, but what you say here, respect. Good to know you are locked in once you are in game, but I still think that many players will not be.

I can't see that happening.
A player's experience is worth more than any perks they might be using. We can have a survivor with 0 perks playing as a God and a Sable p100 with a meta build falling in 2s.
My problem is always with survivors who do absolutely nothing in the match, not with the perks they're using.
But you don't know how they are going to play until the match is over. There are already people on these forums that have outright admitted they would dodge if they saw certain perks they don't like in the lobby. So if people are already outright admitting they'd lobby dodge despite forums rules against encouraging illegitimate DCs, you really think those willing to admit it wont be doing it and actually DCing?

I have mixed feelings about this, but we don't know what people will do with the info yet. I'd guess the average player won't even be looking at it. I'll probably be reviewing it when I'm on hook or before unhooking someone.
People want more info for solo. Well, here it is. When I'm spectating, I tell my friends what perks the randoms have. The info can be very useful. Knowing if someone has Deliverance or Adrenaline is big.
Likely most players won't be jerks, but I have seen many (no names) on these forums who have basically said they would dodge if they were able to see someone brought something like Fast Track… so show them in game? They're willing to lobby dodge, it's not much of a strech they are going to treat that other player as less important than the others that brought "proper meta" perks.

Tbf, people have been asking to see teammate perks for awhile. BHVR is responding to requests. The problem will be how people utilize the info. Will they correctly recognize that they shouldn't unhook someone on two hooks against a tunneling killer if a teammate has StB or Babysitter? Will they grief someone immediately for meme or rat perks? Will newer or lower-skill players be able to use the info at all?
But if you dont like it, don't look at them. The presence of the info won't hurt you.
Yes it will, because if I bring perks that a player doesn't like, they can sandbag me and/or leave me to die on hook. The presence of that info DOES hurt me, even if I don't look at them.

If they add this then the Killer in the Lobby should be shown before the match starts. There's no point in hiding them at that point
I am more worried about being sandbagged and/or left to die on hook because someone doesn't like my perks. I hate playing the current meta, and so I have hated this idea since I started playing in 2021 because I just know petty players are going to be sandbagging and/or leaving survivors who bring perks they don't like on hook, especially those perks deemed as "selfish"

Would be cool, but as someone who has been learning to speak Romanian for years now, the way Capcom says her name in the game bothers me, and I know they'd use the same incorrect pronunciation here. I've even spoken with native Romanian speakers who cringe every time they hear someone say "Dimitresk" instead of "Dimitrescu"
-
Blood Generators are a lot faster to finish in the long run, so "gen rush" is much worse in the event mode.
-
P100 Pig Main here, and while I tend to average 3-4Ks in most of my matches when I use my more nasty builds, I also sometimes meme. Assuming your not doing it for aesthetics like some have mentioned, when you are that dedicated to a character, especially a killer, I find in my case at least, and many other players I know, you play to have fun. Playing optimal to get that 4K (gotta slug for that 4K, yo!) just isn't your priority anymore.
Survivor side it's even more a big nothing, as survivor side it truly is purely aesthetic. Survivors are nothing but cosmetics in the end. P100 Jill (Claire) or P100 Nancy (Robin) means nothing. -

This perk is one of those interesting cases where there can be quite a large gap between its efficiency in general use and its projected value in very specific, often controlled circumstances. On the PTB, while we heard concerns of the latter, we didn't see concerning signs of it being too powerful in practical use.
All that said, though, we're keeping an eye on how it performs on Live and fully encourage you to share your practical experiences with us if you see it performing too strongly in-game!
I used to be firmly in the camp that it was broken OP, but now that I am using it, I see it's not. I especially love it in the Blood Moon Event mode.
That said, one of your newest Iridescent Creators has made it his personal mission to get it nerfed by using it exclusively. Is he using a dedicated build? Sure. But when anyone, even a streamer, can get guaranteed 3-4 escape matches in a majority of their matches, and the only counter is to tunnel and slug? Look, I am one (like him) who doesn't care about how you play the game, if you tunnel or slug, we don't care. I personally try my best not to tunnel or slug, as I don't find it fun when I am survivor, but if a killer does it, I don't care. I go on to the next match. But Fast Track actively punishes those killers who try to be fair and not tunnel and slug… I've started using his build, and when I do I get the same results as him and I suck at survivor.
I am reminded of the Star Wars Meme, you were supposed to STOP tunneling and slugging, not make it worse by punishing killers that do not do so… -

Blood pump spawns definitely are bugged, I can't see how they would intentionally make them spawn 2 meters apart from each other… Also it is very easy for a killer to "undo" a survivor wasting time filling up a can and walking to the gen, which amounts to a lot of lost progress for the survivors.
When doing regular gens, the progress the survivor invested stays (unless actively regressed)
This is why I am bringing Fast Track. Do the Blood Generators, get Fast Track stacks to dump on the Normal Generators as a backup (plus you MUST complete at least one Normal Generator.) it's been working beautifully.

Neither does Fast Track, optimally it only reduces like what 6 or so seconds per hook?
What's your point, can you read perk tooltips? My point is, that Deadlock and Fast Track are not comparable. Deadlock only blocks generators for a short time, whereas Fast Track, no matter how much or how little time it removes, is PERMANENT PROGRESS. Once Fast Track has been used on a generator, there is NOTHING a killer can do beyond a certain point. Deadlock? Hide near the generator for a bit until it unlocks or go cleanse a hex totem or something.
However, I no longer care. I am now using and loving Fast Track, especially in the Blood Moon Event, and I know that's going to make some survivors foam at the mouth, but I I know how to use it to my advantage and the killer's disadvantage, even in the Blood Moon Event. -

Tunneling is a game design issue, not a specific players problem.
This is true in a vacuum.
Except the devs did acknowledge this design flaw, worked and tested a fix, and a small but insanely loud minority screamed NO and they immediately did a 180.
So, at least since 9.1 PTB, a share of this blame rests on players who demanded it stay, threatened, lied, manipulated, and screamed that it be scrapped. Don't tweak, don't iterate, don't adjust, don't fix.
So when BHVR ultimately caved to that and pulled the plug on the test, then unfortunately it stops being solely a design issue.
If I told someone, hey I want to fix this problem, what do you think? And they said absolutely not, do nothing or I'll burn your house down. Then I don't think it's entirely on me if that issue isn't fixed at that point.
They didn't "pull a 180" they scrapped the terrible design and went back to the drawing board. Now, if I am being honest, I don't think they will ever come up with a fair way to stop slugging and tunneling. As a P100 Pig Main that hates to do it (I rarely "slug for the 4k" even. if someone gets hatch, I still see that as an overall win for me. I don't NEED that Mori animation especially if we are being honest, her Mori sucks) and a survivor dabbler (I'd say I'm about 60/40. I am Robin main survivor side) I do think they should do something about it, but that does not mean doing something absolutely horrible for the game rather than nothing. I hope eventually they will come up with an actually good idea of how to reduce the effectiveness of slugging and tunneling without inadvertently allowing survivors to abuse their inability to be slugged or tunneled, but I have no faith.
EDIT: Also, I think it's unlikely anyone made a credible threat to burn their houses down (not saying this community woudn't make such a threat, though I saw none) and even if they did, nobody who actually had legitimate issues with that PTB wanted or asked for them to DO NOTHING. We said DO NOT DO THIS. DO NOT DO THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS DO NOTHING. -

Again with the us vs them mentality. First i'll point out there are many things killers have to do that are the same, but i don't want to get into it. I will say that this mentality of yours is that of a scrub. Not in a derogatory sense, but more of a clinical one.
I would suggest reading the free ebook by game designer David Sirlin:
https://www.sirlin.net/articles/playing-to-win
who talks about this, but the point is simply this.
If i am playing the game to win, then my goal is to win the game. The game itself doesn't know rules like "tunneling or camping or cheapness" all it knows is "did i win". So i am going to use a strategy that i think will lead to the best chance of me winning. There are 2 points about tunneling that can be said. Either its a strategy that has a counter, and you need to learn the counter and get better at the game and deal with it. Or the strategy has no counter, and its unstoppable.
In both cases, if the strategy has a counter, then its on you to learn the counter and not on me who might be employing the strategy. Then, you simply learn the counter, and now you are no longer a victim to it. If the strategy HAS no counter, then wouldn't i be a fool for not employing said strategy in my effort to win? Why would i not use the most effective tools i can in order to win the game?
Compare this to say, chess. If you make a mistake in chess and lose your queen, should i like "not take the queen" because its "cheap"? Or should i punish you for your mistake, and win the game because of it? Why would i not do the thing that is likely going to lead to me winning the game?
Now, it could be true that maybe your goal is not to win the game, and that is fine, you have a different goal. But then if that is the case, you shouldn't be getting mad at people who are queuing up for a competitive game and trying to win.
Now, again, the point i'm making isn't that tunneling is good. I think tunneling is bad for the game and should be dealt with at a systemic level my making it just impossible to do. I have my own ideas on that that i have posted on these forums many times. But my point is simply, stop blaming the players for using the strategies in the game that the devs allow to exist, and start blaming the devs for allowing those strategies to exist.
I was with you until you said tunneling should be made impossible to do. They didn't quite do that with the first anti-tunneling measure tested on the PTB, but they came very close with how harshly it punished any killer that dared to hook a survivor they had already hooked before they'd hooked every other survivor twice (but never the same survivor twice in a row.)

I'm not a fan of the "just bring perks" crew in regards to tunneling, I'd much rather have in-game solutions, but using Iron Will and Lucky Break has not just kept me from getting tunneled, it's made me pretty much unhookable. I'm going many matches without hooks, and still doing gens and wasting the killer's time. If the tunnel becomes too hard, they either stop or they lose. To each their own, but there are ways to deal with cheese without becoming a God looper.
I mean, if you are a god looper then yea the killer likely isn't going to tunnel you. But the point is that if the killer is intent on tunneling you personally, none of those perks will make much difference, not even Iron Will and Lucky Break vs. a killer that knows what they're doing.
However, I think part of the problem with all of this is we all have nothing but anecdotal evidence of anything we say about a PvP game's balance. Even big name content creators only can say what they see and have the video to showcase. It's still all anecdotal. -

I'm aware, but you don't benefit from your own hooking, only from teammates. So if you do get tunneled a lot, you're bringing a useless perk, instead of one that might have helped you not get tunneled.
If you're benefiting, good on you. I've yet to see any value from this perk, even in the few matches I tried it myself. I always had tokens left when the match ended, one way or another. The only way I see that happening is with a coordinated 4man all running it, and I sadly haven't landed one. In most of my screenshots, the people with FT are the lowest on the board.
I'm actively waiting for a match where I think this perk did something useful. I'd really like to see it.
If you get tunneled, it doesn't matter what perks you brought, they are all useless. Even second chance perks as they just delay the inevitable. Especially in solo queue.
Yea, like I said. I am agreeing with ya'll now. The perk isn't broken, I just know how to use it in a way most others apparently don't. As long as it remains only awesome players like myself and JG_Darhk that can make it work consistently, it's all good. -

I don't take screenshots of all my matches. I've specifically taken ones of the FT ones in the last couple days because of how absurd this has all been. The difference is that I'm showing you can very easily win with this perk in play becquse it's not OP. Showing you lost with it in play doesn't mean you lost to that one out of 16 perks.
Until recently, I was running BtL, Deja Vu, and a stacked Commodius. I tore through gens. Did two or three by myself in many matches. Still died. Notice how I'm the only escape in those survivor matches. I'm still sitting on gens, but now I'm untrackable too. And I'm getting more team outs in solo than ever because I waste the killlers time after they injure me and can't find me.
Also notice in my killer matches that not only is FT present but so is Stake Out and Hyperfocus. I'm running no slowdowns. I've yet to lose a single match with someone running this perk. It's being used by people who are desperately trying to squeeze a victory out of their matches with the thing everyone's talking about. The matches I'm losing are agaisnt good people with DH, DS, Vigil, MfT, WGLF, etc, as it always is. The meta remains intact.
How much set up time goes into your fast gens? And how many hooks do your teammates need to get for you to get real value? Yet somehow they still live with all those hooks going to everyone but you? FT gets its value from everyone else on the team doing badly while you sit on a gen. I too was doing gens faster than everyone else with my build, but it didn't depend on teammates doing poorly, nor did it need set up time with Stake Out. Resi, deja vu, BtL, and a meta Commodius are still better options.
News flash. You still get stacks of Fast Track even when you are on hook. So just because others are giving me stacks does not mean that I am just sitting on generators. Also, even if I don't finish a generator all by myself, that's 18% or more progress that the killer CANNOT REGRESS. This makes it quicker for other survivors to finish those generators, even If I do not. I can't comment on YOUR games, I can only comment on my own, and in my experience, with the new Fast Track I am getting way more escapes than I used to and seeing more of my solo queue teammates getting out too… and this is coming from a Killer main. You'd think I wouldn't be as good as a survivor (I mean, I am not usually. I always make the joke that if someone is getting tunneled in a match, it's me. Though I am getting somewhat better in chase, I still am terrible.)
