It was overshadowed by the other stuff, I personally didn't even notice it because my attention was on the new survivor and her perks, some of the addon changes as well.

How big will this area of effect be? If it's a small are then it won't be a big deal unless it protects the survivor from being wounded by the killer.
Maybe it'll heal survivors by spending x amount of seconds in it. I'm trying to see a good reason for survivors to keep returning to this safe haven.

Ikr, I'm curious what effects there will be. Like one effect that slows the hook progression so that survivors have more time to do gens vs a camping killer. Probably stuff like that.

She's a very popular killer and I see her a lot. Maybe it's a regional thing.

I think it's amazing, I finally have teammates that can carry their own weight and as killer I get survivors that can actually keep up and not just go down in 5 seconds.

Idk, but that's not what's important here. What matters is what did he use on his hair and when will his L'olReal commercial launch.
Also, claudette obviously got the best outfit in this collection. So far atleast.
Is that elodia & Meg? I couldn't even recognize them. They can finally sit with us & claudette can finally stop being that one friend that people only hang out with because it's the nice thing to do.
But yeah if Felix got some rock band emo goth outfit then I could see that working out with the hair tbh.

No, they definitely were able to do the gen through the chain hunt, and they let the chain hunt last like they didn't care. This was on Midwich so I'm not sure if they were just able to dodge/break chains while doing the gen?
Probably, but those chains spawn so often. I find them more annoying than the AI zombies that Nemesis has.
Seems a little weird for them to just be able to do a gen with the hunt going. You'd literally need to suck as badly as an immobile killer for that to happen. Not that I think that you're that bad.
If it was this one time then consider hacking because I have seen an increase in that and these people are getting creative & sly with the stuff that they do.

Are you sure the box wasn't being carried by a survivor? Because based on my experience the chain hunt is too disruptive to do anything. Even solving the box.
Either that or the gen was nearly done anyway.

I remember Nemesis having the same glitch when he released. Don't remember if they said that it was just a visual glitch or if people were actually getting more points than usual.
If only doctor had this glitch.

I'm not saying like doctor illusion. More like freddy dream pallet, doing the action but not knowing if it an illusion of not, only subtle hints that it is or not.
This would be an interesting killer if done right and could be fun as well if they are something for the survivor to interact with that affect his power in some ways but not knowing what kind of affect is happening.
That would be so cool. Like a fake gen or fake totem or chest. That could definitely waste their time.
Imagine a Dwight getting into a locker but it's fake and it traps them in there for a bit while notifying the killer.
Probably too strong, idk.

Honestly, I would have done the same. If the killer tried some easy cheap tactic and still managed to lose then expect me to twerk it out till the end game collapse is nearly over.
People shouldn't act all surprised if they get mocked for failing to use a cheap tactic that is obviously not well received by most people in the community.
Like, yes it's recognized that camping is valid, so is the fact that most people don't like it so expect some teabags.

Maybe it has to do with the shape of the object thrown, and the size.
Deathslinger and Justin Bieber both throw small and pointy objects.
Idk if Victor counts as a projectile and I haven't played Fiona enough to notice this hitbox problem on them.
Also, the hatchets rotate vertically, that may also mess with the hitbox but I'm just speculating.
Maybe the hatchets are too big, look at pinhead with his chains, another pointy object, so I guess they're sticking with that.

So true, I remember back when I played halo 5 on xbox and I joined this online squad and that's all they did. I even saw a few members with zero losses in their records, or just one loss that happened months ago.

It's true, when I'm over nurse for the day I play insidious basement bubba and I've had people asking me how I even managed to remain at rank one after the match.

No, there's nothing wrong with that price. People are to blame for demanding products in limited quantities as well as there being shortages.
Also, there are people that are re selling at a higher price than normal so you need to be careful on who you buy from.
Sellers on Amazon are even taking advantage and even places like Walmart.
But all of that is besides the point, stop getting into side topics. This is about rt on the ps5, which is a plan that the devs have already expressed to be pursuing.
I personally can't wait for it and hope that it comes soon but I'm just being hopeful. I'm sure they have their hands full already, unfortunately.

This is literally the fault of poor optimization.
Even back in 2017 when the game was first ported, it ran at like 20 FPS. It's always run poorly and it's getting worse for EVERYONE.
Sorry to at you, but @GoodBoyKaru is one person whose PC was having some issues when RE came out. They can attest that it is not simply a "last-gen problem."
It is the fault of many things, one of them being having to keep the game working on outdated devices. I'm sure a cheap pc will have problems as well. No doubt about that.

It's not random, he was buffed not that long ago so it probably took a lot of people till now to realize how easy he has it right now. Especially with his aura addons.
Also, I have personally noticed an increase in wraith players so if other people are experiencing the same increase then they're most likely burnt out by simply seeing him at this point.

Hopefully when pinhole releases. Although I fear that the new ranking stuff will just be a visual change, so not a complete release.
It's a possibility so keep that in mind until they say something official.

If I can get the tunneling killer to chase me till end game then yeah I don't mind but If I go down in like 5 seconds then I do because that's when the others start gravitating towards the face camping bubba.
Also the odd one that just hides behind some object nearby to see the whole thing. Like, go do a gen.

Yes, we need it. When my bestie, Xi first saw the outfit he was raving but quickly lost the will to live when he noticed that no charm came with the outfit. So upsetting.

Exactly, minecraft already has that option in there, you just can't use it. It is annoying. Thankfully my brother has a pc so I have at it over there.
I believe that part of the reason why the new tech is slowly being implemented is not just because of the pandemic but also because developers have to take resources to focus on last gen. I have always disliked this but I understand why it's done. Not everyone has the chance to upgrade, especially in these times
It is unfortunate and wasteful. I'm sure that if times were normal then they'd be more focused with the latest stuff and not be as cumbered by the problems of last gen.

Yeah, I would too. Although I've never managed to pull this off I have seen some teammates of mine do it and it does get the killer angry since they usually go ahead and tunnel the person that did it. Especially if they complete a gen right in front of the killer.

You realize the current chip shortage isn't going to end until 2023, right? That's two years from now.
There are no reasons besides the fact that it is poorly optimized.
Are you going to say that Battlefront II and Red Dead Redemption 2 are less intense and therefore run better than DBD? This game doesn't look anywhere CLOSE to those two games, yet it runs at 20+ FPS less and it freezes and crashes frequently.
Again, I have no issues if they decide to deal with the mess of getting the game to run well on last gen. As I've said, I still think that it is a waste, this will be a continuous effort not just a one and done update where they can leave and move on. We've already seen this to be the case when a later update messed with their fix.
Yes I am also aware of such shortage, hence me hoping for the consoles to be made more available for people.
Also, rt will be too much to handle for last gen. No amount of optimization is going to get it working there. But I guess if last gen is still a thing by the time rt is out for this game then they could settle by making rt an option in the settings.

There is no reason why DBD can't hit a stable 30 FPS on current-gen Consoles. It's been explained and BHVR has repeatedly said that simply telling people to buy a new system is not an acceptable answer.
There are plenty or reasons why the game could be struggling with last gen. The game is obviously not what it once was 5 years ago.
Besides more content, the graphics were improved and with the planned implementation of ray tracing it'll get even better. This is something that last gen can't even dream of supporting.
You and anyone else can settle for last gen, I'm fine with that. If they can get the game stable for you then that's wonderful.
However I still think that it is wasteful to focus on consoles that will continue to have less of a user base as more time passes by and current consoles become more available.
