Almost 500 fans plus grinding an ungodly amount as killer during the event plus after the event. I legit just finished the survivors off last night I almost cried. 5 years of playing.

Even as a killer I get them if I let people go but honestly I don't see the point in adding random people I only met in game when it comes to dbd for some reason.
Nah. Specially if you don't play both sides. It'll just cause stress. I've accepted a few as killer so when I switch to survivor, I get bombarded with invites and when I do play with them, they either take the game super serious to the point that it's unfun or so lax that I get 1 hooked while they play ring around the Rosie with the killer.

Probably maybe but it would hurt soloQ but I would say there would have to be some limits like you can't use 4 slow down perks and noed cause that would be ridicious.
That is literally my thought. Reduce it to a max of 2 slowdowns/regression only and go nuts.

Strange letting survivors bleed out seems all ok for me because that's not toxic behavior I'm leaving you bleed out to draw your friends in like bait.
Also yes clicky click squads is toxic especially if they are using a macro. That has been discussed about it affecting people with epilepsy from to strobing light
I never said a Macro. I said flicking. Repeatedly pushing the button to get the killer to chase you. Slugging that way is fine but when everyone is down and you let them bleed out just because, THAT is bm and considered toxic. Otherwise, bait is always fine, specially going for that 4k at the very end when only 2 are alive. It's why we have deerstalker.

She needs her range addons gutted and arguably the recharge ones nerfed, and her blink attack should become special
They gave her a recharge as a balance factor but then gave her recharge add-ons xD Like come on. What's the point of her cd then? Those, fatigue and range need to be removed altogether and give her add-ons that do something unique like make her blinks silent or makes gens glow when you blink near them. Something to help but nothing to help in an actual chase because she legit ignores everything. Windows, walls, pallets and loops.

There are ways u can counter that:
lightborn
Switching sides fast when u pick up
Learning when to pick up in order to not get flashed
Forced Pennance
Hitting the bodyblocker and continuing the chase
No. The best way is Starstruck ;) let them get that flashlight save xD Take their save out of other's health states xD.

Hooks are not as close as you think on alot of maps especially if someone brings in the branch to spread out the hooks further. Me and my friends tested out bringing in multiple branches and the poor killer only had one maybe two hooks to work with that's close by to the down.
Besides that if the Killer has committed to a hook they are usually too far to make it to another hook unless they are using IG Agitation combo even then if they are already at the hook body blockers can still keep the from hooking. Septic Agent comes to mind.
It matters not which map has hooks. There is a lot more hooks than there use to be after an update they did awhile back. Survivors are a TEAM. You're supposed to do what you have to to help your TEAM. It's a natural part of the game. I play a ######### ton of killer and survivor and I don't think I've EVER complained about teammates taking a hit to prevent a hook. It's a base mechanic, an achievement, there are perks to help with it even. This discussion shouldn't even be a thing. Flashlight saves are also not bm. Neither is flicking it. It's a distraction to get you to target that person. The only bm things are slugging a 4k and letting them bleedout just because you felt like it, blocking your teammates in until the killer gets them, points their teammates out, a killer blocking you in all game until endgame inevitably kills you and teabagging at pallets to show your dominance after a pallet slam. THOSE are bms.

I understand the team showing up if said person is on death hook but realistically the whole team shouldn't be there when said person goes down.
Now what about in the situation where there's 1-2 gens left killers at 0 hooks and the whole team is there to block the killers first and probably only hook. There is no real advantage to bodyblocking the killer at that point its actually more effectively to let them get that hook and finish the gens.
BTW slugging the whole team and letting them bleed out is pretty toxic in this killer mains opinion.
Slugging is a valid tactic but slugging everyone just because you want them to bleed out is toxic. There is even an achievement for taking hits while someone is being carried. This is not bm. Letting a killer get a hook just because is stupid if you can do something to prevent it. It's why we have Sabo, Sabo toolboxes and even normal toolboxes can be used. We even have a perk to help people wiggle off the shoulders faster. Saying bodyblocking a hook is bm is just stupid.
-
@VikingDragonXii said:

No when all three bodyblock the hook that's going beyond saving a teammate and to agrivate and troll the killer. 1 person body blocking is fine.
It takes multiple hits to get someone off since there are so many hooks near each other. If you think that's just bm, you probably should play survivor and let 1 person take a hit and see if you wiggle off. It's never gonna happen.
-
@Neltaxis said:
1 flashlight save is OK.
But when you have 3 survivors running with you during 2 minutes just to save their pal with a flashlight. This is toxic.
Same for body blocking.
Survivors must do gen, not bullying killer.
Flashlights are meant for this and body blocking is not toxic if you're trying to save your teammate.

BBQ doubled what I busted my ass for in-game. It's like a high-five from myself for doing a great job. Even if you did terrible and only got 20k, it doubles to 40k and better than if you had a perfect match, played super sweaty for 32k. That's my thing. You could play chill and still make more than being super sweaty. The killer felt good afterwards and the survivors didn't feel like they're getting their ass stomped the entire time.
It was a win for both sides. Now without it, enjoy those matches where killers do their damndest to get 32k matches and become monsters to make sure they 4k.

Sure, I can give it a try. It would obviously have to be something that they don't have to spend much time on. So, how about ability to turn on gold sparkle effect that they had during the event, since it's already implemented.
Scroll to 19 seconds:
Actually, that would be awesome!

You seem confused. The issue is not that killers want the survivors to hurry up and leave. They want the survivors to be forced to make a choice.
1) Open the gate so you can leave at at any moment
2) Don't open the gate so you can have as much time possible to make saves.
The reality is that survivors want both these options in a single package with no counterplay:
Leave the door 99% open so it can be opened instantly and there is no consequence or fear that the gate can be "undone".
Opening the gate yourself causes end game collapse. If you choose to prioritize your hook, the hooked survivor still has a timer. It's just a smart play by the survivor. You have a choice.

Never Sleep Pills and the Movement speed per stab add-on makes it impossible to not get stabbed on almost any map.

Well that hook counter is never really useful anyway.
I want to go for 8 hooks/ 0 deaths and don't want to have to keep several survivors with the same skin in mind to not accidentally kill them.
But since some killer might change their mind seeing two survivor, one with 1 hook and the other in death hook, and go for the killable one we can't have the individual hook counter.
When it comes to Nurse, I usually kill everyone except during events but this game, I just wanted to be nice but the hook counter caused me to kill 2 people.
-
I was trying to just 2 hook but 2 hook counters were messed up. They counted as 1 then when the person actually died, it gave me 3 marks for some reason so I couldn't figure out who I had hooked twice. It's been happening a lot but just wanted to show it incase someone has never seen it.
-
I let them both live and do gens.

@EQWashu said:
I absolutely do my best to let them grab Glyphs (especially the Yellow Glyph ones, and if I see they are doing a White Glyph challenge I'll let em be until they return from the basement). Obviously, as killer, whether you allow a Survivor to grab a glyph is entirely up to you, but I understand they aren't easy for a lot of Survivors to find/get so I give them a bit of time to collect it (plus, I'd rather focus on the Survivors working on the gens or searching for my totems if I have a Hex).
If I see someone with the white mirror, I always let them live. Its worth 25k bloodpoints extra. I just cannot commit to the kill at that point lol. I try to be fair and some glyphs, like the yellow ones are really hard to do so a bit of kindness goes a long way. I appreciate you and everyone who does the same. Its just nice to allow a bit of helpfulness sometimes.

I do not see how this could be detrimental.
I do not particuraly wish to play against a Killer with over 150 ms of ping and I also do not want to DC.
Survivors should be able to see the Killer's ping in the pre-match lobby screen, just like how Killers can see their own ping.
Completely agree. Had a match earlier where I got wind scythe by a Bubbas chainsaw when he was 4 steps away and behind a hook. It was pretty messed up. After the match, Dude was speaking Spanish and learned he was from Mexico with 215 ping. Fun times.
Edit: My ping was 59 if you're wondering.

Endurance shouldn't be able to activate if a survivor is currently affected by Deep Wounds. That way, survivors won't be able to combo Off the Record or Borrowed Time with Dead Hard, Mettle of Man, or Styptic Agent (essentially giving them 3 possible ways to avoid going down e.g BT/OtR+DH+Styptic).
If a survivor is in the Deep Wounds State, then the next hit they take should down them if they haven't mended, and all Endurance effects that could be gained should be nullified. If the dev's did that then this wouldn't be an issue.
That wouldn't be fair since Legions' whole power is to give deep wounds to everyone. Oh, you cannot use your perks now because I stabbed you with my power. That would not be balanced.

This is exactly what I was about to post. It really baffles me that people think killers will magically stop camping/tunneling if the devs added a few reasons not to do it. As long as it's in the game people are gonna do it and it's only going to get worse after the upcoming update...
What you mean to say is, it's gonna be even EASIER to catch the ######### player and keep them there or do a hook trade then they go tunnel that ######### player out since they have to get off gens, head to pick up the survivor who was downed and by the time that happens, the ######### player will be downed and rehooked, resetting everything that just happened with no real progress for survivors. It's why I don't really say my thoughts on the forums anymore. It's become an echo chamber where if anything happens, one of the 2 groups complains about the other and says its fair or not fair based upon their own reasons.

Endurance effects would not be "needed" if M1 killers like wraith were as viable at high levels of play as say Blight. You could leave the hook without fear that you would get more hooks quickly before the game was over.
I don't think every killer has your mindset when it comes to a normal "match". There is no reason for a Bubba to face camp you in the basement while revving his chainsaw the moment he hears footsteps or a Hag setting 5 traps near her hook so she can immediately get another one who goes for a rescue so they cannot do the unhook. This PTB is showing just how much of an awful change all of this was for survivors. Even the healing speed is doo-doo now. Good luck getting survivors for a match in a few weeks after this all goes live. I've seen the changes in action and its terrible.

No but when unhooked survs bodyblocking the unhooker or paths to them giving them more time and distance and if the unhooked has ds all that time wasted i play both sides and its a strong strat
So just don't rescue since all that would happen otherwise if the killer camps you is just trading hooks until both people are dead then. Whether people like it or not, Endurance effects are needed in this game.

@Obelt said:

when a survivor main doesnt acknowledge survs uses new otr or bt offensively
You seem to think that someone running around you with BT is more annoying than that person getting healed then getting on a gen? Or DS that can only be used if you down someone then pick them up or pull them out of a locker when its obvious what they're trying to do? And if you're a survivor main, cool. I play both sides.
-
Don't tunnel. Simple as that. Off The Record, don't tunnel. Seems everyone is only complaining because they just can't tunnel people out anymore after these changes.

title... i think is not possible but maybe a cap or something could be done, literally i played agaisnt many nurses and there is a big dif between them u can litrally react to the ones without macro blinks in your camera and the others are litrally blinking in your head + hit at the same time is so weird u cant react.
I don't use a macro. I know my blink distances and if I know I'll land directly on top of you, I'm already click the M1 button once I land.
-
All good. The glow seems to be staying now. It use to disappear after I got hit.
-
Give her back her old short swing when she blinks. That's why she was difficult. Giving her a normal lunge when she can go through walls was a stupid idea and should have never been a thing. Giving her add-ons to reduce her fatigue was also stupid since the whole reason she was forced to wait on her blinks to recover was to give time for a survivor to try and get distance. Both should be changed.

Sorry, but nothing of what you said is true. 1. I collected the invitation, got hit, didn't lose it. (Maybe you lose it when the killer is playing with Franklin's Demise, but that should be a bug then because it doesn't make any sense.) 2. The gates were open (actually opened, not just powered), I collected the invitation, the killer hooked me, I died, and I didn't get a mask for that round.
I've lost my invitation every time I was hit so I started just grabbing it after gates were open.

Now I don't use Billy so not sure and Dad's boot it' supposed to increase turn rate only or does it increase MS while revving too?
It does not but I think his rev is normal. I thought you meant his movement speed while already using the chainsaw. Yeah, his movement speed is still slightly faster than a survivor but slower if too close to walls since the hitbox can slow him down without seeing it.
